((This thread is open to all for posting purposes as soon as I finish my first post. You will know it be finished I'll say so in a ooc post at the bottom of the post.))
'Finally, I am living as a normal teenager should! A public high school I can... almost walk to, I'm living in an actual city! And best of all, my parents cannot influence me with their potato ways from this far away!!' Rick the transfer from Idaho, was getting ready for his first day of public school in general, at Public High School number two five nine. Today, Rick was going to be casual formal, wearing a nice three button polo shirt, a fresh pair of beige shorts, and his good pair of running shoes. A nice choice, not considering that every other piece of clothing Rick owns is currently unsuitable to wear in public, on account of their being dirty. Rick had showered, dressed, and was currently getting something to eat before John, his god-father, drove Rick and Ron, Johns son, to 259. John was the same age as Rick, as well as three inches taller than he is.
Rick inhaled two egg and bacon sandwiches and a glass of orange juice before walking down to the Dojo to get to his god-fathers car. So far so good. Rick has controlled his desires so far. Now to contain himself for the rest of the day from doing something harmful to himself. So far the list is comprised of jumping off big things, jumping over big drops, attempting to run up walls, and riding his mountain bike off of big things. Rick had butterflies in his stomach. He wasn't scared, he was excited. Today was the mark of Rick's exciting chapter of his life.
Ten minutes later John dropped Rick and Ron off at the front of 259. Rick took a minute to take in the school. It was huge, and it had lots of external potential. Rick liked what he saw, a large school. That meant a lot of students. So there was a large amount of people to get to know, and even hide in, if the need arise.
Ron quickly left Rick to attend to his own agenda. He was smart, so Rick assumed that Ron was going to the library. So Rick spent his time wandering the school, locating vital parts of the school. The lunch room, the bathrooms, the gym, the pool, you know, the important things. Rick even found a place he didn't expect to find, the courtyard. The place Rick found very pleasing, for the grass was green and the trees were still alive, and which meant the trees still provided shade from the California sun. Rick took a seat under the first decent sized tree he found and leaned against it as he watched fellow students walk around to where ever they were going.
First bell rang thirty minutes after Rick took his seat under the tree. He was about to get up and go to the main office to get his class schedule when a group of what looked like sophomores gathered around Rick. There were a grand total of six students, all with smirks of malicious intent. The sophomore to Rick's far right spoke. "You new here? This is our tree, and you didn't ask to sit under it! You got some nerve kid." Rick had a confused look on his face. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know this was your tree. I was just about to leave. I'll ask next time." Rick said as he got up to leave. The sophmore standing in front of him pushed Rick into the tree forcefully when he got up. "I don't like your tone of voice kid! You makin' fun of me? I might just have to kick your ass, freshman!" The sophmore who spoke earlier seemed to get angrier with every word. Rick was just about to explain his responce, but the sophmore wasn't going to hear it. He had already sent his fist towards Rick's head.'So much for a good day.' Rick said under his breath as he ducked to avoid the punch. The older boy's fist missed Rick's head and connected instead with the tree, making his fist start to bleed. Rick slipped through the legs of the sophmores, ran a couple of feet, turned around, and got ready for his fight.
