(OOC: If you want to join, ask me and I'll let you know if you can.)
I sar a film today, oh boy. The English army had just won the war...
Matrim sang the song in his head as the headphones went on. Lately he had been going through a Beatles vibe. He had them sometimes, just like he did with any other band, whether it was his fathers, Muse, some Ska bands, or even the slower stuff. It was like a craving for a food you wanted, except in this case for him it was a sound he craved. A sound that was British, catchy, upbeat, and familiar. Beatles pretty much fit that to a T. As did Oasis but they were a little less upbeat and catchy.
He had been roaming the halls aimlessly, trying to get done with this place. He had a few assignments he had to get caught up on, a few final papers to write, and a project or two in order to Graduate. The presentation was going to be the most time consuming one of them all but he didn't mind. In the end he'd be done here, and he'd be able to move on.
That is, unless he failed even a single class... it's the funniest damn thing. Turns out from all these transfers, some of his credits didn't go with, and it seemed that a few classes he failed finally caught up and bit him on the ass. So if he failed even one class this Semester, he had to come back the next year to finish. That's right, another semester of school for a single class... or more if he failed more. How warped was that?
Matrim's hand had healed up mostly, he'd be able to use it to fight now even though it might not have the same endurance as his other one, "Good to have this back again," He said to himself as he opened his locker, "Opening the locker finally only takes one try again...." He opened it and put his history book back in. The damn thing was falling apart at the seams, but at least it wasn't scribbled all over. He grabbed his English book, realizing he had to read a chapter for the class.
Shit...
He quickly shut his locker, and turned the book to the chapter, walking down the hallway as he read from the book, scanning the information as he worked through the crowd. His eyes focused on the book he had no idea that anyone else was around, even in the filled halls of the school. Before long he had read up on some of the key terms and points of the chapter, closing it he turned around and noticed the halls were empty....
"What the...." He wasn't sure what had happened, everyone was gone and he didn't know why. He took out a headphone, only to have his ears completely filled with a ringing of the fire alarm. "OW FUCK!" He said as he put the headphone back in.
That's better....
He made his way outside where the large crowd of the student body had gathered. He wondered if he'd have class today or if the fire was a real one. Usually when someone pulled a fire alarm it's because he got into a fight... maybe this was the same thing...

Sara fidgeted in her seat. Her seat, yes. She was in class. She had walked into the room and the teacher had taken one look at her and gone, "Who the hell are you?" She figured it was a pretty bad sign when the teacher said something like that. After explaining who she was, Sara had been allowed to take her seat and had been given a HUGE pile of work to catch up. The teacher was at least kind enough to give Sara a chance to pass this class after seeing how serious she was about it.
But ya, Sara was in class. Why? Because it was time to buckle down and graduate. With a baby on the way, and Matrim's recent talk about money problems, it was time to secure her future and get at least a high school diploma. It was part of the reason she had given up the pillar title. She needed to focus on school. Matrim would probably shit a brick if he knew where she was... And that was a sad thought TT.TT What the hell had she been thinking?
She chewed the top of her pen as she tried to ignore the boy next to her, whispering and mumbling to her about how pretty she was. It was one of those creeper nerds. You know the one? You've all had a class with his type. He sits there, breathing heavily through his mouth, constantly pushing his glasses up his nose, his upper lip pulled up over his braces so you could perfectly see his buck teeth? Ya, that was the one. She sent another glare at him, flashing her hand with the ring on her finger.
"... That's a pretty ring... Pretty like your face..." *cue more awkward breathing*
She fidgeted again in her seat, glancing at the clock. It was almost over. Class was almost over. Oh thank god. She would have to talk to the teacher about moving her seat. But the biggest problem right now? SHE NEEDED TO PEE D<<< She raised her hand. "Sir? Sir? I need to pee. NOW." He turned to look at her, then glanced at the clock. "Can't it wait? We only have a few more minutes..."
"No sir, it CAN'T wait. I'm going to piss myself." She said it so matter of factly that he was shocked. He simply nodded as she grabbed her purse and the large pile of work and left the class. First stop, locker. She danced from one foot to the other as she as she tried to get her locker door open. When he you have to pee, nothing ever seems to go right. It took her four tries to get the door open, and then two tries to get the work into it. She slammed it shut and took off for the washrooms.
She was just sitting down on the toilet, a soft, pleased sigh coming from her when... The fire alarm went off. She cringed on her throne, covering her ears as she let out a frustrated growl. Goddammit. Why now?! Nice way to disrupt the flow of things. She swore, trying to relax so she could finish peeing. She finished her business as quickly as possible and flushed. Then she tore out of the washroom, her gaze traveling up and down the halls as she tried to figure out if this was a real fire or a drill. Or some punk ass kid...
She made it outside just after the largest of the crowds had, and followed the last few stragglers as she searched for Matrim. Now where the HELL was he? She turned to scan the school again just in time to see him walk out of it. A little late wasn't he? She frowned and started to cut through the crowd towards him. She would reach him a few moments later and walk up next to him, sliding an arm around his waist and looking up to him.
She tugged the headphone out of his ear by grabbing a hold of the cord. "I'm going to buy you a new set of these. Ones where you can actually hear shit around them." She glanced around nervously. She had a bad feeling about this. "So what do you think it is? Real or fake?" She asked, referring to the supposed fire.

"I'm going to buy you a new set of these. Ones where you can actually hear shit around them."
Matrim turned to her and smiled, his own arm going around her waist. "Ya well...."
"So what do you think it is? Real or fake?"
"Probably just some kid trying to get out of a final pulling an alarm or something," And that's when Matrim saw the smoke in the building, "Or someone setting a fire to get out of a final...." He said, thinking of what he could do. He quickly turned and made sure one of the teachers was calling 9-1-1 to be sure. Matrim called out, "Are all the classes out yet?"
"HELP! The way was blocked! We came up here!" A voice called, and Matrim looked up....
Shit....
"Looks like a job for Spiderman," Matrim said and turned to Sara, "Wanna climb up there and start bringing people down?" He asked as he looked around, "I'll go make sure nobody's hurt or abandoned inside of the building. Better hurry though," He said as he took out his headphones and wrapped them up, "Go as fast as you can, take them down as many at a time as you can. If someone sprains something it's better than having the floor collapse under them and dying from asphyxiation and burns..."
He took off back toward the entrance without another word. Simply taking off in a run for the stairs. He had to get up there... quickly.....

"Okay I think the Pillars are coming up.... we should be good." The teacher said as he turned back to his students. They had gathered around him when the door to the top opened up, "Hey maybe that's them there..."
"Oh, I wouldn't say that." The girl said as she walked out onto the roof. She had been completely covered in burns from head to toe, bandages covering her, "I wouldn't say that at all......" A grin crossed her face as she laughed, her laugh building as she charged, knocking five students, two boys and three girls, off of the roof, plummeting down toward the ground.
"Who... are you? What are you doing here?"
"I assure you it has nothing to do with you. But if you really must know?" The girl said, "My name is Carolyn Jameson.... and I'm here to kill you all. Nothing personal of course, just business..."

"Probably just some kid trying to get out of a final pulling an alarm or something."
"Ya, I hope so..." She followed his gaze to the building, scanning the front of it. She actually really hoped it was just a false alarm. She finally decided to buckle down on her schooling and what happens? The school catches fire? What sort of luck would that be?
"Or someone setting a fire to get out of a final...."
"What...?" She looked to his face, then followed where he was looking until she saw the smoke as well. "Oh shit..." Her arm fell from his waist as she took a step back, pulling out her phone to call 9-1-1. As she looked around to see if anyone else was. A couple people were on their phones but whether it was to the fire department or not, she really couldn't be sure. More and more people were noticing the fire though, especially now that Matrim had spoken to ask about the classes.
"HELP! The way was blocked! We came up here!"
Oh jeez... Could this really get any worse? She abandoned her cell phone, shoving it back in her pocket as she double checked her gloves, pulling them on tighter even before Matrim spoke to her.
"Looks like a job for Spiderman. Wanna climb up there and start bringing people down?"
She nodded, barely hearing him as she debated the best way to do this. She started to walk, hoping Matrim would follow and talk as they moved. Thankfully, she had heard pretty much all she needed to. Get up there, get them down, he was going in to check for people. She could do this. No biggie right? She was only pregnant >3>
"... it's better than having the floor collapse under them and dying from asphyxiation and burns..."
"Ya ya, get going." She took off at a run for the side of the building, glancing around to see whether anyone else was coming to help. Mostly, people just hung back, waiting for the fire trucks to come. Sadly, there had been one to many false calls at this school and they were probably going to be taking their sweet ass time. Sara latched onto the wall with her gloves and began to climb, one hand over the other, her shoes digging into the wall as she steadily climbed higher. And then...
Sara's head shot up as she heard screams, and students started to fall off the roof, a group of them all at once. Instinctively, Sara reached out, grabbing one of the students by the arm as the rest fell past her. The one student was crying, clawing at Sara's hand, scared of falling. The ones on the ground were mostly silent, only one of the four rolling around on the ground and clutching their arm.
There were teachers already reaching them. One stood under Sara, calling for her to drop the student. Without a second thought, she did, the teacher catching him. He wouldn't have been to hurt from this height anyways. Sara turned, climbing again to reach the roof. Sara could hear someone talking, and she quickened her pace, just in time to hear...
"I'm here to kill you all. Nothing personal of course, just business..."
Sara pulled herself over the edge of the roof, her upper body leaning over the metal covering the edge, her feet still dangling over the side. Her teeth were gritted together as she put a knee up and then her foot to take her completely onto the roof. One look told Sara exactly who this person was. Coupled with the voice and the needless violence, it was safe to say this was the person from the club that one night. Sara still had the bullet scars from that night.
"I'm sorry... I'm going to have to say no to you doing that. This really isn't a good idea. I'll break more this time then I did back then, don't test me..." Sara stepped forward, trying to be as threatening as possible. It was a safe assumption that with her around, there was probably going to be guns somewhere.
Ignoring the girl, she turned to the class, really unsure of what to do. She wasn't going to leave any of them up here with the little bitch, so she wasn't about to take any of them down, but Matrim was right. The floor was dangerous. "Ummm... I guess just spread out and stay near the edge of the roof. The walls would be the strongest, even if the ceilings collapsed."
Back to the girl. "Don't do this."

Matrim was already inside, climbing up toward the floor that had been on fire, he didn't realize what was going on outside. Instead what he did quickly realize is that there were people inside, and he didn't know who. Finally getting to the second floor he heard a voice and ran toward it at full speed, "Wherever you are call out and I'll come get you!" "Over here..." A man's voice said, Matrim walked up to see two men, both of whom looked very familiar. He even remembered their names once he got a good luck at their faces. The first, with a mohawk and a lip piercing, lighting a cigarette off of a small flame. The second, a blonde who seemed frail and drunk as he took a swig from a canteen. (OOC: GeoffStrength: 850 Dexterity: 20 Constitution: 850 Intelligence: 20 Wisdom: 20 Charisma: 50 Qi: Smokers Lung: Can control the smoke from flames, using it to choke a person or form a smoke screen to blind his opponents. "How's about you be turnin around and headin' back where yeh came, boy-o?" The drunk said as Matrim read the two quickly. This was going to be a tough fight, a lot tougher than he would have liked. The two together were quite powerful, he just hoped they were easier than they read. Either way he really wish he had Sara or really any help. The building was coming down, if he used his Qi, he'd endanger anyone still on the roof by damaging the foundation with even more flames, but if he didn't use it he might get tossed around just as badly. This is bad....Matrim brought his fists up, "Better yet why don't I escort you out of the building and we can talk this out...." "Don't think that's gonna happen. The boss may be a bitch but she pays good... I mean REAL good. Not to mention if it weren't for her paying for our training, we wouldn't be where we are today. Hell, we even discovered some strange things about ourselves... you wouldn't believe what we can do. Especially when we're together...." Geoff said. "Now don't be goin' and makin us sound like a couple o' queers. What my mate here is tryin' to say is that you don't wanna go messin' with us. We saw the footage, we know what you can do Matrim. Flames, am I right? Well there's plenty o' fire here already. Obviously we aren't afraid of that. So, why don't you just be a good little prick and die easy. It'll only take a sec......" "I'm sorry... I'm going to have to say no to you doing that. This really isn't a good idea. I'll break more this time then I did back then, don't test me...""I think you'll find I'm not very afraid of that... let me give you an example of what I can do....." The girl said, charging her Qi. "Ummm... I guess just spread out and stay near the edge of the roof. The walls would be the strongest, even if the ceilings collapsed.""It's not the building they need to worry about," The girl said as the area around her feet began to burn, wither, and set flame. The parts of the roof that burnt up rose into ashes around her. It may have looked like a dangerous move, but it was an example of what she could do, "My Qi burns the air around me... it bakes it. In an open area like this, you'll get off light with some distance... but if you even get close enough to touch me you'll begin to feel it....." (OOC: Carolyn Jameson Strength:150 Dexterity: 150 Constitution: 316 [x2] Intelligence: 62 Wisdom: 59 Charisma: 240[x2] Qi: The closer you get to Carolyn, the more heat damage you take. Touching being 240 Charisma. To edge of the roof would be about 1/4 that amount, so 60 for those at the edge.) Everyone would begin being burnt from the air alone. They had to get off the roof, and fast. Either that or Sara had to do something to distance the girl. The only trouble being, if she touched the girl she'd get burnt. Even getting close might risk baking her body. Though if it was only temporarily, or for not an extended amount of time. Well, we'll see what happens, won't we?

"It's not the building they need to worry about."
Sara growled in anger and frustration as the students backed away, some clinging to the edge as they prepared for the worst. Sara didn't want to do this. Not now. Best if she just escaped. Got away and ran. First she needed to help the students though-- What?? Sara eyes fell on the ground under Carolyn's feet, her eyes going wide with shock and fear as the floor beneath her began to burn to ash. Sara took a tentative and slow step back. What the hell is going on...?
"My Qi burns the air around me... it bakes it. In an open area like this, you'll get off light with some distance... but if you even get close enough to touch me you'll begin to feel it....."
One of the students began to whimper, and then, in seconds, they all were, each of them whispering about the heat and getting worked up. It took Sara a little longer, but by the time Carolyn finished talking, she too could feel the waves of heat coming off the girl.
Sara had backed away another couple steps, looking around wildly for a way out. Again, her eyes roamed back to the ground beneath Carolyn. She was a cocky girl, it was obvious. And it made her stupid. It took everything Sara had to keep the smile off her face when she realized what she needed to do. Her gaze swung back to the students and she called out angrily, "Calm the HELL down! Find a goddamn drain pipe!" They were getting worked up and scared, and while they had every right to, it was distracting. At the same time, she was trying to warn them, trying to tell them how to get down without her. Immediately, a couple students poked their head over the edge, searching the walls of the school for a pipe to climb down.
And then she jumped forward. Literally, a jump. She took a few running steps, then jumped a few meters closer to Carolyn. The heat was intense, but she only needed to bear it for a few seconds. Both feet slammed down hard on the ground, all her weight slamming down like she was trying to break the ceiling. Which she was. The moment her feet touched the roof, Sara burst, focusing the force in her feet. The ceiling would collapse under them, a circle forming where the ceiling was the most burned from Carolyn's qi and the two would drop down to the floor below them.
Sara landed hard in a pile of hot rubble. She rolled to the side, groaning as she glanced around for Caroyln. Instead of a hallway, she found herself in a classroom, a hole in the roof above her letting light stream in. The rest of the hole, where Carolyn would have dropped, seemed to be on the otherside of the class room wall. The place was pretty smokey, and Sara coughed as she pushed to her feet, searching for a way out. She spotted the windows and ran to them, hoping to get out before Carolyn realized what had happened.

The two men would begin to laugh, obviously excited. Suddenly, the smoke from the halls would seem to collect, moving as though it was alive. Within moments, it was too thick to see it changing and moving. It was obvious though, that all the smoke appeared to have been sucked to the area surrounding the three people. It wasn't heavy though, simply difficult to see. Breathing would be harder, but not impossible. Making breathing impossible was for another time. Right now, they were just showing off.
Geoff and Clyde's laughter could still be heard until the area was so covered that it slowly died off. Laughter would give their positions away. And then all was silent, a sort of deafening silence from the smoke. Geoff had done his part, now it was Clyde's turn. As though there was no smoke at all, Clyde stepped towards Matrim as silently as possible. Quickly, he crouched, slamming a fist into Matrim's abdomen, then quickly sidestepped so that he was behind Matrim and lifted his foot, slamming it into Matrim's back to send him sprawling forward. Again, Clyde would step back, away from Matrim so that when he went swinging wildly in fear, Clyde was already gone.

Two men versus himself, and they had gotten stronger. Not a good sign, and the cloud of smoke? Also not a good sign. It meant one of them could use Qi, and their Qi was smoke. He knew now that if he lit himself on fire he only made himself more visible to them. So he tried to keep his eyes peeled, only to be hit in the stomach and back quickly as if hit by one person, but from what he could tell it felt like the Irishman from the size of what hit him. At least, that's the one who seemed fast enough, he had seen them both fight before, but he wasn't sure how they developed.
He swung around to find that nobody was there, and he knew what he'd have to do, maybe the Irishmen couldn't see him, and he'd try to capitalize on that. He knelt down, bringing his arms up defensively over his head as he tucked that in, he'd wait and hopefully if someone went to attack him they'd trip over him, and that'd be his way to attack them.
"What's the matter, that all you got?" Matrim said, as he felt the pain. It was very slight, whoever hit him didn't have much strength to them, that was for certain.
"Calm the HELL down! Find a goddamn drain pipe!"
The girl jumped, she was pretty fast. Carolyn readied herself, cracking her fists. These people meant nothing, she was out for revenge on those who had hurt her, who had murdered her father. She would take them down, and anyone they cared about. If they didn't have any sentiment toward the students than she'd just focus on them for now. But what she didn't count on, was her attacking the floor beneath them, the roof collapsing under them she fell down.
She landed hard on her side, dazed a bit as she looked up and then began scrambling to her feet, "BITCH!" She yelled as she ran into a room nearby, seeing Sara crawling out of a window, she ran toward her, passing by a few scattered papers in the classroom that ignited in flames as she passed by, getting closer the windows would get hot as she ran to the window.
She wouldn't be in time but she'd grip down on the frame of the outer window to set fire to the section, "Shit.... I'll deal with her soon enough...." She ran toward the stairs to get up to the top. It seemed that some of the kids were already heading down, but a few had yet to make it. She worked along the edge being careful not to fall as she got closer to them.
"Come here... I'm not going to hurt you I just want to help, come toward me..." She said, holding her hands out, she tried holding on her heat as much as she could, one of the kids came toward her as the other tried to call to them, trying to stop them, the boy was a freshman, somewhat new.
"You did this... why would you help me?"
"Just trust me..."
"Don't do it James!"
"Okay but... I just... I just want to get off this roof..."
The boy grabbed her hand and immediately burst into flames, incinerating him as he screamed, the site was gruesome to behold as he was scorched. The second boy was frozen in fear as she walked slowly toward him. "That's right... it won't hurt... for long."

"BITCH!"
Sara sent one last glance behind her before she slammed open the window and climbed out, bracing her feet on the window sill and getting a better grip on the wall. As soon as she was sure she was good, she let herself fall out of the window. Her knees scraped roughly against the wall and her shoes scuffed as she tried to get a good foot hold. What she damn well needed was shoes to match these gloves. Her balance settled after a couple rough swings with her feet digging into the brick and then she began to climb away.
Sara decided to go down. The idea that Carolyn would go back up never even crossed Sara's mind and she was pretty sure if she hoped into a window one floor down then she might find Matrim. She was pretty sure the students would be find, a quick glance over showed the students carefully sliding down the drainpipe, one by one. A noise at the window she had come out of had her head snapping up to watch in shock and fear as the window sill that Caroyln gripped began to burn. Sara gritted her teeth and continued downwards.
Clyde could see Matrim perfectly. Okay, maybe not perfectly, as in crystal clear. There was smoke everywhere, he couldn't see anything. But he could sense it all. In his mind was a crystal clear vision of everything around him. Including Matrim as he swung and hit nothing. It took every muscle in Clyde's body to keep himself from bursting into laughter. He took a deep steadying breath. But somehow, the smoke didn't bother him. He and Geoff... They worked well together. He didn't need to see, and Geoff made it so everyone else couldn't see. And was careful enough to try to keep a little pocket of fresh air around Clyde's head. Oh yeah, amazing teamwork.
Had there been no smoke, everyone would have seen the drunken, pleased look that crossed Clyde's face as he watched Matrim kneel down, bringing his hands over his head. Hehehe... It was so perfect, so easy. So much fun...
"What's the matter, that all you got?"
Clyde's smile turned to a sneer. "Watch your mouth boy-o..."
"Clyde." Geoff hissed at him, shushing him. The best way to ruin cover was to talk. Geoff himself shifted to the right from his original position, just to be on the safe side.
Clyde knew it was a mistake to talk, but one that was easily fixed. He closed the distance between him and Matrim's huddled form, slamming his foot out to kick him like he was a soccer ball, with a small grunt of exertion then danced back to stay out of his reach.
Sara was at the window, debating the best way to break it open without cutting herself. She couldn't get it open because it was locked. It might just be easier to move to another window, maybe try the one to the next class room. Before she could make a decision, a loud, pain filled scream sounded through the air. Her gaze snapped back up to the roof, but she could see nothing, only hear the terrified screams of the children. She knew immediately that Carolyn had gone back up there. Why? She had no idea. Her goal should have been Sara, not the students.
Gritting her teeth, she started to climb again as fast as she could, hoping to reach the roof before anything else happened. With the adrenaline pumping through her, she reached the roof in mere moments. She practically threw herself over the side, but it was almost to late. She landed hard on her stomach with a grunt, and watched as Carolyn advanced on another students, his, and the students behind him, skin blistering as she got closer to them.
In desperation, she screamed at Carolyn, "STOP! DON'T!" At the same time, she scrambled to her feet, stumbling forward as she ran towards them. "RUN! GODDAMMIT RUN AWAY!" Sara stopped as soon as the heat began to get to be to much for her. She didn't want to endanger the baby. She didn't want to do this.

"Watch your mouth boy-o..."
There's one....
"Clyde."
and two, the slow one, better move now...
Anticipating an attack Matrim dived forward, feeling a foot kick him in the ass as he leapt forward. The good thing was it didn't hurt too bad, but it was still a kick to the ass. The other good thing was that it fueled his forward momentum as he dived into a somersault to where the voice came from.
As he did he came out of the smoke but there was nobody in front of him, quickly he looked and saw the guy to his left, the guy had moved to his right a little. Before Matrim did anything else he quickly spun low and aimed to sweep the back of the guys legs to bring him down.
Finally a break, so the smoke must be what this guy controls... what does the other one do then? He aimed that kick to hit me... he must be able to see like a scanning type deal? Night Vision? Heat Vision? Something like that.. who knows.
If the attack worked he'd make an attempt to slam his left fist into the guys midsection, aiming to hit his solar plexus. He wasn't sure if he'd get help from his speedy friend before that or not. Not to mention, he wasn't sure how this guy was strong, for all he knew this guy was about to tear him a new one.
"STOP! DON'T!"
"Sure thing, just BRING MY FATHER BACK!" She screamed as she turned toward the kid.
"RUN! GODDAMMIT RUN AWAY!"
She lunged for the kid as he backed away, he was tripped up by the edge of the building and fell over. Carolyn ran to the edge and looked over it to see that someone else had broken his fall, but it still looked like he was hurt. She was pissed that the boy had narrowly escaped, but at least the charred remains and bones of one victim were there, there with it's blood on the girls hands.
"Just you wait girl... just you wait, when I'm done with you, they won't be able to identify your remains. And your boyfriend? He'll end up just the same. Not to mention the Masters kid, god knows what my people are doing to him as we speak." The girl said as she would slowly walk toward Sara, "A bit afraid of the heat aren't you? Funny considering what your boyfriend can do... we saw the security... we saw that match. Nobody lit him on fire... I'm sure by now Geoff and Clyde have taken him down."
She would walk to where she could lunge out toward Sara along the parts of ceiling still remaining, aiming to make a grab for her. She knew the girl was faster, a hell of a lot faster from what she could recall and what she was seeing. But it didn't matter, she wanted to do it, she wanted to kill her. And Matrim. And Zeek. God she wanted to kill Zeek, so much so that her men only had orders to kidnap alive.

"Sure thing, just BRING MY FATHER BACK!"
That's what this about. Her father, Sara should have realized it sooner. That was... a pretty damn good reason to be pissed ><" Sara swore under her as the kid dropped over the side of the roof. From the way Carolyn seemed to tense in anger, Sara could at least assume the kid was only hurt and much better off and that left just the last kid who was now sliding quickly down the drain pipe. Sara could at least relax a little now.
"Just you wait girl... just you wait, when I'm done with you, they won't be able to identify your remains. And your boyfriend? He'll end up just the same. Not to mention the Masters kid, god knows what my people are doing to him as we speak. A bit afraid of the heat aren't you? Funny considering what your boyfriend can do... we saw the security... we saw that match. Nobody lit him on fire... I'm sure by now Geoff and Clyde have taken him down."
Shit... Sara's face hardened, her teeth gritting. Zeek and Matrim were both in danger. She knew Matrim would be fine, he could handle anything... Her confidence though that the two guys had already taken him down was a little disconcerting, but again, she didn't really have time to be worrying about him. Zeek was a different story. The guy was pretty damn weak after everything that happened.
For every step that she took towards Sara, Sara took one back, edging slowly around the hole in the roof and back towards the area where the roof was still mostly solid, save for the fire slowly damaging it. A roof wasn't a good place to be right now. Not at all. Carolyn suddenly threw herself forward, grabbing at Sara. The heat increased to a sickening amount with the fast movement and Sara acted instinctively, throwing herself into the hole. Whatever injury she was going to get from inside the building couldn't be as bad as risking Carolyn's qi. The wall that had separated her and Carolyn cut right down the center of the hole. She grabbed it as she jumped, hanging onto it as she debated what to do.
"Come here.... don't be afraid... it'll only hurt a little. Then it'll be over."
"Fuck that..." She let go of the wall and dropped to the ground, landing roughly on her feet. Immediately, she took off running for the stairs to go find Matrim. He was probably better equipped to handle her then Sara was. She shot out of the second floor stairwell, looking around wildly. She knew he was here. She couldnm't say why, she just knew it. "Matrim?! Matrim where are you!?" She shut her mouth, pursing her lips. There were two guys in here, it probably wasn't smart to be yelling. She turned down the hall, running to search for him.

Geoff had his teeth gritted in frustration as he stared at the cloud of smoke in front of him. It was supposed to be funner then this. Instead, he had a bad feeling and he was wondering if he should have gone with his original instincts to just wrap a smoke ball around his head and killed him quickly. Before they had actually started, the idea of playing with Matrim had seemed fun. Now it seemed like they'd underestimated him and it was getting risky--
A movement shot out of the smoke at his side. Geoff's gaze snapped over to see Matrim standing there, out of the smoke. "Shit, Clyde! -- AH!" Geoff suddenly dropped, landing hard on his back. The guy was FAST. Extremely so.
Clyde was already on it though. He shot out of the smoke behind Matrim, diving low with his arms outstretched to take them both down before the punch could hit Geoff. If he caught him, the two would collide and slide across the floor a good couple feet before stopping, with Clyde on top trying to pin Matrim down.
Even from his position on the ground, Geoff worked quickly and hard to move the smoke, sending the large wall of it after the two to catch them in it once more. Clyde just needed to hold Matrim down long enough for Geoff to move the smoke. As he worked, he moved to his feet trying not to break his concentration. Clyde wasn't strong enough for this. The wall of smoke moved slowly but already it would be creeping up their legs as Geoff ran towards the two, bringing up his right foot to slam it down hard on Matrims shoulder, trying to break it.

"Shit, Clyde! -- AH!"
Yes! Got 'em down!
Matrim had a moment of triumph, that is, before he was taken out. He wouldn't be able to punch Geoff but at least he had gotten off one hit. As he slid he looked up at Clyde, wondering if it was really smart for him to do this. Then again, moment of desperation he'd do anything. He was underestimating Matrim a bit though, they both had been. So he went along with it.
They don't know everything I can do... they don't know about the arms....
Matrim struggled a bit against being pinned, but not enough to break free. For the most part he would play the part of the guy about to meet his doom. He could feel the other one running to catch up and he knew he was coming to attack. As the smoke started to cover him he smiled. Perfect....
Geoff brought his foot up to come down on Matrim's shoulders, and that's when Matrim made his move...
GOT YOU, CLYDE!
Matrim's extra arms would shoot out, grabbing Clyde and pulling him so that his spine would be directly under Geoff's foot as he stomped down. Matrim would stay between Clyde and the foot to try and squish Clyde between them. If this worked, then that may just be his way to beat Clyde and take him out of the fight. Then all that would be left was the big slow one.
Where's Sara....
Unknown to Matrim she would be there extremely soon to help him out. Thankfully.
The girl got away, and even worse? It wasn't like Carolyn would be able to follow her tail or anything. She seemed to be much more acrobatic, diving for that section of wall and dropping with much more grace than Carolyn could ever hope for with her fall. But the fact was her last time falling had been painful enough, and this time she'd manage her way to the stairs as fast as she could, heading down much later than Sara.
Her speed wasn't that great, but she'd do her best to make her way to the others. Those two idiots only had to take out Matrim, and considering what he could do and the fact the place was on fire already, it didn't seem like he'd use his Qi. And if he had they probably would have known. In either case this wasn't good for Sara or Carolyn.
Because neither of their side had come to back them up. Meaning Sara getting there would give them the advantage. But if Carolyn could get there before that, she could try and make things get back to the plan. Back to the plan that she had set out to do.
Damnit.... what the hell are you two idiots doing?
She rushed down the stairs not knowing where they were or what floor they might have been on, so she checked each one that she would go down until she would hear and see anything going on.

Sara was coming up a dense wall of smoke, confused and concerned. Although there was smoke in other places, fire in a couple of rooms she had passed, the smoke seemed to be stuck in this one area, dense and thick so that she couldn't even see past it. Sara's only consolation, the reason she wasn't choking to death on smoke, was her qi. The faintly green wind that circled her body was acting like a vent or something. Smoke would get sucked into it, and passed across her body. None was getting to her eyes or mouth. It was simply rolling right over her, and her wind was giving her a breath of fresh air. It was interesting. But where the hell was Matrim?
She eyes the wall of smoke for another moment before she realized it seemed to be moving. Suddenly, a cry erupted from the other side of it. Without a second thought, she jumped through the smoke.
Geoff's foot slammed down hard on Clyde's back. Even though he had tried to pull back at the last second, a lot of his strength had just slammed down on the poor guys spine. Clyde let out a strangled scream of pain and anger. What the hell had just happened?! All of a sudden, the guy had more arms then he should have! Impossible! Carolyn hadn't told them anything about that. That was impossible!
Geoff stepped back with a grunt of anger, stepped down hard on the foot he had slammed into Clyde's back. He wondered if he had just broken the guys spine or something... Clyde tried to wiggle out of Matrim's grip to lay on his back, groaning in pain.
All of a sudden, someone slammed into Geoff's side, hands grabbing onto him for balance as they both stumbled back a step. He looked down at the big, confused eyes of the girl Carolyn was supposed to have taken out. There was a long moment of confusion and then Sara suddenly screamed. Geoff was slammed with a force that came from nowhere and knocked away from her.
Having forgotten to release her grip Sara stumbled forward, tripping to her knees as she had burst Geoff away, just as a door a little further down the hall burst open, putting Sara once more, face to face with Carolyn. "DAMMIT!" Sara cursed as she pushed back to her feet, Geoff already back on his, smirking and laughing as he started to stalk back towards everyone. Sara searched for an exit, when her eyes fell on Matrim, lighting up with hope.

Success!
The guy took the hit. Matrim held onto him with a smile. He had his own personal human body shield for this guy, and from the looks of it, Geoff could dish out more than Clyde could take. That was absolutely perfect. Matrim wanted to take one of his hits just to see how hard he was able to hit, he almost envied Clyde that. But this was a little more personal now.
Sara...
Matrim noticed the smoke clear as her burst hit Geoff, sending him away. Matrim sat up, pulling his main arms away from Clyde as he threw him hard against a nearby wall, throwing him back first to add to that injury. He'd get up and kick him once for good measure.
Bastard....
"DAMMIT!"
Matrim's attention snapped up to Carolyn, or the burnt up crispy version of the girl. It all made a lot of sense, "So this is who you work for..." Matrim made a move towards Carolyn as he watched Sara, "Take on the big one. He's slow, don't get hit. He controls smoke, but your Qi seems to fuck with that. I'll take on her, What's her deal?"
Matrim would walk forward, his four arms all out as he stared her down. He figured they might as well fight fresh opponents. Matrim would be tempted to let himself get hit against the big guy, but the main thing was that he knew he wouldn't be able to touch Sara, especially with her Qi going. Matrim couldn't use his... not unless he wanted to bring this place down.
Clyde... damnit...
Matrim seemed to think that this was something up for debate. But this was real trouble, Matrim and Sara were together now, and that was the most crucial thing to the whole plan, keeping them apart. Yet here they were, together, ready to fight. This wouldn't end well... it was time to resort to her backup plan.
She grabbed her phone, pressing a button and saying, "I want them here as soon as possible." A voice on the other end replied, "Understood."
"What's my deal? My deal is you killed my father and nearly killed me. My deal is you made a mockery out of my family name, my deal is you SHOULD FUCKING GO DIE IN A FIRE!"
The heat intensified greatly, the girl was so pissed off that it seemed she was going to explode. She wouldn't let herself get that far though. After all, in just a few minutes the Shadowmen would be here, and the two of them would be taken care of while they could get Clyde into working condition once more.

"Take on the big one. He's slow, don't get hit. He controls smoke, but your Qi seems to fuck with that. I'll take on her, What's her deal?"
"Now don't go telling her all my secrets..." Geoff smirked, chuckling softly, trying to appear unconcerned. Geoff glanced towards Clyde as he let out a groan as he slumped to the floor. He would be fine, Carolyn's other men would fix him up soon enough and then the two would be a team again. Geoff was by no means fast, which meant that this was going to be bad. He and Clyde worked best together. Now here was that little bitch who somehow managed to make all his smoke disappear. Which again, really didn't bode well. To hide it, he sent a smirk at Sara. "Looks like it's me and you beautiful."
Sara wasn't worried as she watched Geoff stalk towards her. She could handle him. As Carolyn ranted she hissed to Matrim, "Watch her, she's hot. Like burning. Turned a kid on the roof to ashes." Which, if Matrim was already fire, how would that work on him? Pfft, this was going to be easy. Unless of course who ever Carolyn had called was going to be stronger then the ones already here. They were already outnumbered they didn't need to take on more. "Let's take them down fast, get this over with."
She crouched, preparing herself to attack Geoff. He was moving quicker, casting worried glanced at Carolyn as the heat intensified in her anger. Even he was getting hurt from it, so he quickly moved away from her and closer to Sara. Sara suddenly shot forward, bringing back her left fist for a shot to his abdomen, and then quickly slamming her right hand up to slam her palm into his chin or nose.
Carolyn was so angry, so pissed off. How could she have been so stupid as to let them get back together!? Now everything was going to go to hell unless the others got here fast. She watched Matrim approached her, unconcerned. Even if he was fire, she was sure she was hotter and if he hadn't burst into flames yet, she wasn't so sure he was going to at all. She took a few steps towards him, everything around her burning and melting, the ground turning to ash at her feet. "Common then Matrim, go ahead..." She crouched slightly, preparing to dodge. Best if she just wasted time until the shadows got here.

"Watch her, she's hot. Like burning. Turned a kid on the roof to ashes. Let's take them down fast, get this over with."
"Sounds good to me..." Matrim said as he cracked all of his knuckles, all four hands at the same time. He then set all four of his fists on fire, it wasn't his strongest, in fact it was the most basic he could make his Qi. The point was to experiment without going full flame, "Let's see if I can touch you, shall we?"
"Common then Matrim, go ahead..."
Matrim charged, he decided to go in first with a spare arm, his lower left fist launching for her chest. He would feel the heat, not knowing if he could touch her or not. But at the very least he would try her out. After all, he was pretty tough and if his Qi was more powerful he'd be protected from hers.
I'll pull back as quick as I can if it hurts... worst case scenario I have ways around this... like my staff or any other of the lockers here...
(OOC: Matrim's Stats, -5 Cha, +2 Str, +3 Dex. 1 continuous post)
Sara slammed a hit into his stomach as he clenched the muscles, absorbing the blow as he let out a grunt with a smile, only to have a palm thrust into his chin, his head tilted back as his right foot slid back. This chick was a lot stronger than she looked, this would be hard, especially with her speed. It didn't help that Qi wouldn't help him here, every time he tried to form smoke it cleared away around her. Even now as he was trying to concentrate smoke around her head it couldn't concentrate. It was a mist of smoke at best.
His right hand would attempt to grab her as he would bring his head back down in a headbutt. He would follow through the motion my lunging forward, driving his right shoulder into anything in front of him. He wasn't very fast, but if he could land enough of a hit, just like with Clyde, he could stop her from moving around so much.
Let's see how much better you've gotten since our last match....
"These guys always freak me out..." The man said to his partner. The two men in business suits were walking with two other figures. Ones that looked just like themselves, except in cooler outfits, different hair, and they were a bit more intimidating. "I mean, how the hell are we supposed to know what they really look like?"
The second man responded, "It doesn't matter. They are just experiments anyway, money well spent, paying off the right people."
"What's our job, huh? Who will we become this time I wonder?"
"Who shall we be?"
"Matrim Gallagher, and Sara Quinn? Oh wait, Gallagher... guess they got hitched. Don't disappoint us. After all, if you two screw up, you'll have to be fixed in the lab."
The two beings became pure white, human in shape, but with absolutely no features, simply like mannequins. They began to walk down the hall of the first floor, making their way slowly.
