Tara wasn't paying any attention to anyone or anything but Zeek. She had no idea where she was, or where she was going, only that she needed to get away, to get out of here. Being over shoulder of the one leading the group meant that she could look back at Zeek. It hurt, tilting her neck to that angle, but she could do it. Her shadow was following along next to her, a smile on her face. It made Tara almost sick to see her. As they entered into the main room, she was the last to see everything. By the time the full entry to the hallway they had come from was in view and she realized they were now in a main room, she was being tossed down before she could get a look at anything. She was dropped onto her ass at their feet. Tied like this, she wasn't going to be able to get to her feet at all to run away.
For the life of her, she couldn't understand why Zeek wasn't fighting back more. She got her first good look at the room, but her gaze always went back to him. The place was like a lab and filled with some gross shit. Having not been involved with the last fight, she had no idea what was going on, or what was floating around in that tub. She still hadn't even realized where they were.
"It's been awhile since you've seen him. Take out his gag, now."
Tara's eyes followed the... girl? What the hell had happened to her? For the first time, Tara felt pretty damn good about her own burns. This girl was fricken crispy, and covered in bandages. And she seemed to know Zeek. Her eyes narrowed, then went wide with shock as she watched their exchange. Who the hell was she? What was going on?
"That's too bad, guess that means you won't give your girlfriend one last kiss once she's dead."
As soon as she was brought into this, she fought back just as Zeek tried to. She twisted and squirmed to get on her knees, only to have her shadow grab her by the hair and pull her back, dropping her onto her ass again and making her cry out around the gag in pain.
"I heard she can copy Qi's... is this true?"
Tara narrowed her eyes. The clone was staring down her, amusement in her eyes as she answered the girls question. What the hell were they talking about? Copying qi? Is that what she had done? Ok, so why couldn't she do it again now? As though seeing the idea in her eyes, Tara's shadow gave her hair a rough yank, then finally let her go.
"Then get her to the lab, she isn't to be harmed or touched in any way from here on out until we're done. Then she's fair game for whatever you wish to do to her."
And now the fear hit. She was going to be some sort of lab rat now? She grunted as she was picked up and slung over someones shoulder again, her eyes wide and pleading as she stared back at Zeek as they carried her away. In seconds, Zeek was out of view and they were cut off. She was carried into a room and laid down on a medical table. Tara scanned the room as she tried to twist and roll herself onto the floor. They caught her before she could and tied her down, a strap across her head, one across her upper body, mid body, hips, upper and lower legs. Once she was strapped down, they uncuffed her hands and untied her feet.
Sadly, then didn't remove her gag. Her shadow stood off to the side while men in white coats moved around the room, setting things up. Her heart was beating out of her chest, her mind racing. What the HELL was happening?!
She felt a jab in her arm, and groaned as one of the men started to draw blood. Oh please, someone save me...

They started to take her away and he started yelling, "NO! NO! NO DAMNIT NO!" He yelled and fought back as the hands grabbed his head. He fully activated his Qi, every bone, every drop of blood, all of it metal. He hoped it would work, he prayed it would work.
*SCREECH*
His head bent and twisted and he dropped. Lifelessly hitting the floor as he held on. He had to fake it, and he knew how. He slobbered... yeah, slobbered. The metal in his body, all the liquids of it looked the same. Blood and saliva both turned to liquid metal would be hard to distinguish from each other. He knew if he turned flesh he was a goner, his best chance was for them to assume he had taken on a permanent form like this.
"Huh, so he stays like that dead huh?" The shadow said as Carolyn let out a never ending laughter, very creepy.
"HE'S DEAD! HE'S DEAD AND I KILLED HIM! OH THANK GOD! TOSS HIM IN THE TRASH!" She said as she let out laughter, it was obvious her motions were that of somebody a little too far gone mentally. The Shadow Zeek carried him out of the room, tossing him into a large trash bin before leaving.
Count to ten.... wait... alright now....
He moved his hands up to his head, attempting to twist it back, but he wasn't as strong as his shadow. "Shit..." He said as he opened the lid and hung his arm out twisting his body to get a good look outside.
I'm a goner if I don't get help soon... I need something with heat... lots of it, and quickly.
Shadow Zeek walked into the room that Tara was in, he would watch her closely with his arms crossed in front of his chest, "Your boyfriends dead, thought you should know. But don't get too worried, once they're done with you I'll make sure to console you, hold you, and fill the role that he left when I snapped his neck."

They ended up taking about 5 samples of blood from her. The whole time she twisted and swore around the gag in her mouth, trying to spit it out only to choke. She fought against the bonds, but they held her tight. It was obvious that they were meant to hold people stronger then her. After taking her blood, the men moved away, doing their things at different corners of the rooms. Once, one of them came over and checked her vitals, shining lights in her eyes and checking her heart rate and everything. She felt... violated.
The door opened, letting in a wave of noise, laughter, yelling, things that emphasized how quite the room was when the door swung closed again. She couldn't see who had come in because her head was strapped to the table. She tried to see, lowering her eyes as far as she could, but her chest blocked the view.
"You're boyfriends dead, thought you should know. But don't get too worried, once they're done with you I'll make sure to console you, hold you, and fill the role that he left when I snapped his neck."
She recognized the voice instantly, but the words took a few moments to sink in. She laid still for a moment, running it over in her mind. Her boyfriend was dead? Zeek? They had killed him? Well that was fast... WAIT WHAT!? Her eyes went wide. Her shadow started to laugh, and left the room, her laughter getting louder and louder until it was cut off completely as the door closed. And he was going to console her... How kind of him. He had... snapped... Zeek's neck... And he would console her... She let out a strangled cry around the gag and then started to fight against the bonds again. Through the gag, she screamed out a string of curse words that would have had everyone in the room blushing. One of the straps across her chest began to loosen, so she started to buck, trying to tear through it before any one could stop her.

Arriving across the street from the place Matrim was holding on tightly for dear life. This guy was zig zagging and riding the ass of everyone here to get there in seven minutes. Matrim could have sworn at one point he heard police sirens, but if there had been police there weren't anymore. Maybe they checked the license plate and saw who it was, or maybe they had just lost them from Thomas' epic driving skills.
Jesus Christ what the HELL.... this guy makes Sara look like a soccer mom!
Matrim opened the door and stumbled out after undoing his seat belt. He hit the ground and took a moment to rid himself of a dizzy feeling. As he walked over toward the warehouse he opened the lid of a large garbage container to spew inside only to find....
The hell?
"Help... my head... fix my head... heat me up so I'm malleable, and twist it back."
Matrim turned and yelled, "I FOUND HIM!" He pulled Zeek out, laying him down on the ground on his back. He had been turned to metal, and his head was on almost backwards completely. He started his Qi in his hands and placed it to Zeeks neck, heating it up as he twisted it back in place slowly, "Are you sure this will work? I mean... will you live through this?"
Matrim would turn toward the others, "I guess we got him, who's left... just Tara right?"
Zeek remained quiet until Matrim fixed him. And then he ended his Qi and began coughing a great amount. He tried speaking but it didn't quite work. "I think he wrecked his vocal chords or something... Tara, where is she?"
He started pointing and Matrim held back a Lassie joke given their circumstances.
"I can see 'em, all of em. Although the butler should stay here with the car, his part in all this is over, yeah? We found the boy now stay the feck out of our way."
Matrim wasn't so sure why he seemed to be against Thomas but it didn't matter to him. He helped Zeek over to the hood of the car, "Alright... anybody got a plan?"
Matrim would wait and think up some kind of plan. Going in and just fighting wasn't always the best way. "Any ideas Sara? Clyde? Thomas?" He didn't ask Zeek since, it appeared he couldn't talk.

Sara stumbled from the car, nearly dizzy from the driving. "I need to get lessons from him. Seriously." The guy was a bloody maniac. She found her idol, and he was a butler. Amazing. She leaned against the car, catching her breath. Why did it feel like she had run the whole way rather then drive? She bent over, dropping her head as she waited for everything to settle. 7 minutes... That had to be a record. "I FOUND HIM!"Sara's gaze snapped up, her eyes narrowing as she watched Matrim pull Zeek from a dumpster. A fucking dumpster. Slowly, she pushed off the car. It was obvious what was wrong right off the bat. His head was twisted at an impossible angel. Anger and disgust flared in Sara and by the time she reached them, she was shaking, her teeth gritted and her fists clenched. Now it was rare that she had major shows of loyalty, but this was to much. Really. It hadn't actually hit until this moment that these people were out to KILL. Ya, she had known, but... This... It made it more real. This was wrong... She watched, angry at herself for not being able to do anything as Matrim tried to fix him. In theory, what he was doing made sense, but there was no way it would work... It couldn't... Her eyes burned and it took her a moment to realize that it was because of the threat of tears. To make this side of Sara cry was nearly impossible. They wouldn't get away with this. "I think he wrecked his vocal chords or something... Tara, where is she?"Sara glanced at the building Zeek pointed to. She scanned the whole thing, top to bottom, then searched for the door. What caught her attention though, was the glint of metal on the ground. Zeek had bled metal... And left a trail... She ignored the others as they carried Zeek over to the car, her eyes on the trail of metal blood. Before she knew it, her feet were carrying her towards the door. She gripped the handle, and with a quick twist, broke the lock. Simple as that. No major security, nothing. Sara slipped inside, leaving the others. She didn't mean to, she assumed that they were as eager as her to do this and would be right behind her. She took off at a run through the hallway. Whoever this Tara chick was, it was pretty obvious that unless something happened quick, she was going to be as dead as Zeek should have been. She tore into the main room, coming to a stop right in the middle. Guards suddenly stopped, their jaws hanging open at the sight of the small girl, huffing and puffing as though she were ready to blow the place down. Which she was. She stomped her foot, activating her qi. It burst outwards from her body. Things that were near her topped and blew away, people were bursted away from her, sliding on their backs to come to a stop a dozen feet away. Those further threw their arms up and braced their feet as they tried to keep standing. It suddenly occurred to Sara that she actually had no idea what Tara looked like. "Where the HELL IS SHE?! Give her to me and no one DIES!" Wait.. Where was her fire? D= Posts till next burst - 2 Strength: 269 Dexterity: 360 Charisma: 140 5/8 Shock

"What do yeh mean Sara, she just walked off." Clyde said and Matrim turned, smacking a hand to his face. He needed a plan for this, just going in and getting killed by a bunch of those shadow things didn't sound too good.... So he quickly looked up at Thomas.
"What can you do? Qi wise?" He asked and Thomas turned his head away, Zeeks hand grabbed Matrim's shoulder and when he turned Zeek just shook his head, "He has one... I just want to know-"
"No you don't. It isn't useful against a group. That's all you need to know."
"O...kay?" He said, "Clyde, me and you are going, come on." He started to go and Zeek started to follow, "Zeek you're hurt, you should stay."
"And yer sayin I should go?" Clyde said, "Not that I'm complainin' just sayin he has jus as much right ya know?"
Zeek nodded and continued to lead the way. Matrim shrugged and just started walking, "Stay with the car Thomas. If anyone tries to leave that isn't one of us, kill them." He said and made his way toward the hole Sara had made.
"Where the HELL IS SHE?! Give her to me and no one DIES!" She had said, Carolyn walked in, not using her Qi once again but simply staying where she was.
"Remember the things I set loose on you? I have about ten of them ready to go. How do you think you'd fair against ten?" She said with a devilish smile, "Ten beings greater than you in strength. At least, theoretically since clearly you beat yours. Tell me, how did your boyfriend fair?"
"Well enough," Matrim said as he walked through the hole. He was the only one who did, the other two had their own mission that he had given them. But he would fight along Sara until that came to fruition. If there was a way to kill the shadow people before they copied them, that would be ideal. Matrim ignited in flames.

"Alright, they have her strapped on the other side of this wall here..." He said as he stared through, "There's a shadow version of you in there... I can fight him if you want but I'm gonna have to know what he's like. Is he tough? Is he slow?"
"He's made of metal and he hits pretty damn hard."
"Oh I think I can handle that boy-o. Just need to grab somethin to hit him with. Go for the tender areas like eyes," He said and grinned. It wasn't a good plan but it beat nothing. "Are ya sure you can do this?"
"Somewhat...." Zeek turned his fist metal long enough to punch through the wall and rip out a section of it as it broke apart a bit and the two of them would be facing the Shadow version of Zeek watching over the strapped down Tara. "You miss me?" Zeek would say to him, hoping to lure him out of the building.
Matrim would turn toward Sara, "Make good use of those shoes you have," He'd say as he cracked his knuckles, "Let's get to work...."
Four shadow people came out of a room to fight. None of which had taken on the form, they were just... a dark black nothing that seemed humanoid in shape. They were fresh, newly created ones.

"These ones will be a little bit more accurate then the last, don't expect it to be quite so easy!" Carolyn said. This batch had a bit of Tara's DNA in them.

Sara's eyes fell on Carolyn. Immediately, a smile touched her lips. Her gaze was just to the right of her. She wasn't worth looking in the eyes, she was nothing but dirt under Sara's shoe. Her awesome shoes, might she add. Carolyn didn't threaten Sara, not at all. "Remember the things I set loose on you? I have about ten of them ready to go. How do you think you'd fair against ten? Ten beings greater than you in strength. At least, theoretically since clearly you beat yours. Tell me, how did your boyfriend fair?"Sara merely chuckled. It was exactly as she had told the first shadow. This part of Sara... was content. Now while it would be difficult to beat 10 on one, she could do it. Because her greatest wish was to be whole. For her mind to be sane. Ya, it sort of negated the purpose of her whole existence in Sara's mind, but her goal was for Sara's happiness, which meant being... Not crazy. So ten sane Sara's, against an insane one. Somehow, Sara thought the odds were in her favor. "Well enough.""Come to ruin my fun again I see? Man, and here I was going to weave this tale of woe and still come out on top... like a hero. Way to go." She pursed her lips, completely unconcerned about the scene around her as she sent Matrim a sarcastic glare. Her eyes though, moved over his fire, wondering... Maybe... *had an epic idea... Or a very stupid one...* "Make good use of those shoes you have. Let's get to work....""Heh..." Sara brought her fists up, her gaze moving to follow the four 'things' that came out to fight. Apparently they weren't as quick at taking on appearance as the last ones. Well that was all fine. Easier to beat them like this. But first... As the things took up position, Sara kept glancing back at Matrim's flames. "These ones will be a little bit more accurate then the last, don't expect it to be quite so easy!" "Oh shut up you stupid git, I'm trying to think." Yet, without another thought, Sara brushed a hand over Matrim's arm. Her fingers burned, as though she had touched a hot burner, but her vision suddenly tinged with red as the flames swirled and mixed in with her qi. HAHA! FIRE!
Tara was still struggling to break that loose strap. One of the men had come back and tightened it, but it was obvious that it was a weak one. The more she struggled, the looser it became. If they tightened it again though, she would have to start all over. No one seemed very concerned about it, and to be honest, the shadow Zeek even seemed amused that she was trying so hard. A sudden noise came from just out of her vision. It sounded like something had slammed through the wall. All the noise, the tinkling of glass tubes, the sound of trays and movement suddenly stopped. Tara froze. What now? What the hell could possibly be going on now?"You miss me?"Zeek...? Something seemed messed up with their voice. Wasn't Zeek supposed to be dead? The shadow Zeek swore. "What the hell?! I killed you! And you!" He pointed to Clyde. "What the hell are you doing?!" He stepped forward, into Tara's sight. Immediately, she started to struggled, screaming around the gag in her mouth. The strap popped loose finally as Tara twisted her arm out from the lower strap, her shoulder hurting from the movement as the upper strap dug into it. The guys in lab coats rushed her, grabbing her arm and trying to strap her back down. She managed to reach up and grab the gag though, tearing it from her mouth. "Strap her down! Don't let her get away with that shit, she's just some weak bitch!" the shadow Zeek yelled before he tore out of the hole, throwing his right fist for Zeeks face, then throwing the same fist around to slam the back of it into Clyde's cheek.
Sara eyed the four shadows. In her eyes, it wasn't worth it. Instead, her gaze moved past them to Carolyn. Now that... might be worth it... With her mind set, knowing Matrim would probably bop her a good one, Sara darted forward, crouching as she weaved under the shadows arms to stay out of their reach. Crouching had given her the perfect opportunity to try a move she had seen on tv. 'Cuz, you know, Sara was cool like that. She pushed off her feet, going airborn and drew her knee up to slam it into Carolyn's chin for a quick knockout. If they could catch Carolyn off guard before her qi was activated, shit might actually work out. Posts till next burst - 1 Strength: 269 Dexterity: 360 Charisma: 140 6/8 Shock

His voice hurt so badly but he still managed to get it out. He was suddenly punched by the guy. He went flying, his jaw was broken pretty badly now, but that didn't matter. It was two on one, three if he could get to Tara in time as she started to bust out. He ran as fast as he could to get past him as he attacked Clyde, who had a fight of his own to get to. Clyde ducked easily as the false Zeek tried to slam it back, "Might wanna try again boy-o, I'm afraid that you somehow managed to lose your target there." He would flip back into a crouching position, "Of course it's not a surprise considering you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Hell I don't you could hit the broad side of a broad if she was askin yeh for it."Clyde would mostly just have fun with the guy, after all he was unbelievable fast. ( ClydeStrength: 45 Dexterity: 900 Constitution: 88 Intelligence: 45 Wisdom: 400 Charisma: 250) Zeek would run into the place and immediately break all the straps on Tara, he pointed to the outside and brought his fists up to try and pantomime saying 'we should fight', and would again point out. He would then head out and without the use of his Qi and the ability to turn his head more then a few centimeters, attempt to help Clyde take this guy out. He would wait for his opportunity though. For the most part he'd just stick around and watch until there was an opening.

"Might wanna try again boy-o, I'm afraid that you somehow managed to lose your target there."
Shadow Zeek swore, his anger rising. It was getting the better of him here. He needed to calm down and think. He sneered as Clyde flipped back into a crouch. What the hell was he thinking?! Why would he switch sides? What could these idiots offer him that Carolyn couldn't?
"Of course it's not a surprise considering you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Hell I don't you could hit the broad side of a broad if she was askin yeh for it."
His fists clenched in anger. "What the HELL are you playing at? This better be some sort of joke, or I swear to god, when I get my hands on you... You're going to wish you had run instead of coming back here." He took a few steps forward, his mind focused entirely on Clyde, Zeek forgotten. He suddenly charged, a metal beast, arms outstretched as he tried to catch Clyde in a bear hug to break him in half.
At the sight of Zeek, the scientists stepped back. They were men of science, not of violence. They had no chance against any of these people, they were simply paid to do their job. Which they had done, remarkably well. The new DNA for the shadows was a complete success. Tara was no longer needed, and the men didn't care if she lived or died. Of course, Carolyn would probably be a lot happier if she died. The scientists would pay for that much.
As soon as Tara's arms were free, she started to work the straps with Zeek, setting herself free. In moments, every strap had been undone and she sat up, her vision blurring and the world spinning. She was light headed from the blood that they took, but she would survive. It took her a second to realize that Zeek was trying to talk to her. She focused on him, watching his hand gestures in confusion until she glanced where he was pointing. Outside the hole in the wall, the shadow Zeek chased around Clyde.
Tara hopped of the table, tearing out of the hole on weak legs and threw herself onto the shadows back. No one. And she meant NO ONE, killed her boyfriend. The moment she touched the shadow, Tara's skin hardened, turning into metal as she latched herself around his neck, trying to choke him out. Not that it would do much good, but it might give the others an opening.

"Come to ruin my fun again I see? Man, and here I was going to weave this tale of woe and still come out on top... like a hero. Way to go."
"Well I could come back later but the parties already started," He said, looking at the four Shadow's Carolyn had brought out. "Oh shut up you stupid git, I'm trying to think."
And then she touched him, and it seemed she had almost taken his element once again, even if it was just for looks. He looked over at her and got a little offended, "Hey! I said fire was my thing! Go steal water... or earth... or lightening... or maybe earth."
Then Sara took after Carolyn, and though she was faster then pretty much everyone in the building excluding Clyde, someone managed to intercept. Someone took the hit after shoving Carolyn out of the way. That someone was the Shadow of Tara who had finally reemerged from wherever it was she was off to.
"Carolyn!" She called out as she pushed her and took a large hit to her gut, causing blood to come out of her mouth. Her body was on fire though as she would attempt to grab onto the girls leg if she could, her body beaten pretty badly from just the one kick she was already starting to feel the effects of it all.
Matrim on the other hand was going after the four Shadow things, his extra arms appearing, one of which was burnt pretty badly at the hand because of Carolyn earlier. He managed to take down one and break it's neck before turning and punching another and giving it the bear hug from hell, all four arms squeezing down on it as he burnt the ever living crap out of it, effectively setting it on fire.
The other two would go after Sara as Carolyn herself got her Qi up and going. She had been knocked to the floor by the Shadow Tara but it saved her, so luckily that girl wouldn't face any punishment for her rash decision. Carolyn would become a source of heat once again, ready to take on anyone and everyone who dared attack her as she watched and readied herself for another attack one of the two might make on her.

Sara's knee connected, but not with her original target. The fact that her knee had hit a chest instead of a chin threw off her momentum. Sara dropped like a rock, landing hard on her back and immediately rolled back, somersaulting to land crouched a few feet in front of the newcomer. Sara glanced at Carolyn, laying on the ground, then back to the girl who had taken her hit and was now coughing blood. "No matter, you all have to die tonight, no difference if I take you out now or later."
But there was a difference. Her goal in taking out Carolyn was to disable her qi. That wasn't going to happen now, and instead, she had probably just angered the girl and incited the use of her qi. Shit... Behind her, Matrim began taking out the shadows, the smell of burnt flesh filling the air, but there was no way he was going to take all four before...
"Dammit!" Sara spun, pushing to her feet at the same time, just as the two shadows approached her. Now would be a good time for a burst, but she had to work with what she had. To give herself room she threw herself out of the center of the group, and away from Carolyn. Which was apparently a smart idea Sara noted, as the shadow Tara swore and took a few generous steps away from Caroyln as the ground at her feet began to burn.
First things first, the shadows. Sara was now out of the center of enemies and could pick them off. She took the shadow that was closest to her to start, stepping forward and throwing a knee up into the beings abdomen, and throwing a fist up into its chin. It dropped to the ground, and Sara slammed her foot down on its head, crushing it.
Now her shoe was dirty D< "Goddammit! That was NEW!" Time for the stronger shadow. She charged the fake Tara, aiming to grab her around the head and take her to the ground with Sara on top. Her thumbs dug into the girls eyes, trying to blind and kill her. When that wasn't happening fast enough, Sara began to pick up and slam back down the girls head, trying to crack her skull on the floor to take her out before Carolyn could get near her.

"What the HELL are you playing at? This better be some sort of joke, or I swear to god, when I get my hands on you... You're going to wish you had run instead of coming back here."
"No joke, boy-o. And I never switched a side. I've always been on the same side my entire life. My side, it was Carolyn and our boy Geoff who decided to leave me," He said with a grin as the shadow tried to tackle hug him. He jumped up and kicked off of the back of his head to propel himself forward a bit and as he landed he broke down and rolled so that he could evenly distribute the impact of the fall.
Then Tara managed to turn metal and spring up on the shadow which was good, "Get the hell off of ME!" The shadow would turn and ram himself backwards against a portion of wall that was still attached, aiming to pin her against it there, his arms going to pull her off. As he did that Zeek forced his hand to turn metal, he tried to get the full body but it wasn't quite working.
It's the least I could do... right?
He charged, pulling back the right fist, nearly leaping into the punch to try and knock the hell out of the guys face in order to bring him down. It may not have worked but it couldn't hurt his chances, right?
It was at this point that Clyde would watch carefully, he didn't have the strength these two had. He was more into the speed thing, and if they were gonna take this thing down, better leave it to those made of metal. He'd stick around to provide support if they needed it. "Kick his arse! Throw em' a left! And a right! Oh for feck's sake just KILL HIM!"

"Get the hell off of ME!"
"No! I'll kill you!" Tara held on for dear life, her teeth gritted with effort as she tried to choke out the shadow. She knew there were so many ways that this could go wrong, and a few scenarios flashed through her mind. But slamming back against the wall, hadn't been one she had considered. Her back slammed against the brick. It held, but just barely as her back pushed into the brick, denting into it, small pieces of debris raining down on her back and head. Her mind clouded with pain.
His hands reached back to grab at her, grabbing her shirt and hair. She grunted in pain, but only held on tighter, determined not to get off of him. He was a lot stronger though, and she knew that it wasn't going to last, he would get her off of him, she could feel her grip loosening as he tugged at her.
And then Zeek's fist hit him. To distracted with getting Tara off of him, Zeek's fist slammed into his cheek. His head was knocked to the side as he practically growled in pain and anger.
"Kick his arse! Throw em' a left! And a right! Oh for feck's sake just KILL HIM!"
"Do something!" Tara yelled at him. She had no idea who he was. He looked familiar, but she couldn't place him and couldn't understand why he wasn't helping. Still pinned against the wall, the shadow Zeek went back to grabbing at her. If he could just get his hands on her for a quick knockout, then he could deal with Zeek once and for all. This time, he wouldn't be coming back if he got his hands on him. He would tear his head right off.
Tara gave up on her choking. Her arms wrapped around his neck more, looking to catch her forearms under his chin, while her hands went for his eyes, her left for his right and her right for his left, crisscrossing her arms for added grasp around his neck. Her fingers tried to dig into his eyes.

"Dammit!" Sara said. The shadows were pretty confident, even the one she took out was thinking it would assume it was dead and would leave her alone except for the fact that she stomped down on it's head and it was dead before it even knew it was wrong about it's chance to get her back.
Then as she took down Tara, grabbing her around the head and taking her to the ground she felt as her eyes got gouged out, she screamed but reached up to grab at Sara's face, still on fire through her Qi. Still, having her eyes gouged out wasn't pleasant and she began cursing and screaming left and right.
The other shadow ran up to attack Sara from behind, aiming to attack her from behind by stomping out toward her spine as Matrim pulled out his staff that he had on him. He had forgotten it last time, but not this time around. And now that he had it, he had a way to hurt Carolyn besides locker doors.
Time to make this bitch much uglier than she... wait am I even able to physically make her uglier than she is? Oh well, time to find out.
Matrim charged toward her, his staff gripped tightly as he ran forward aiming to horizontally strike Carolyn across the face with it, using it's full length to distance himself from Carolyn. The staff being a good metal would withstand the heat and not be melted by any amount of heat either of them provided.
"Bring it....." He would say as he attacked. This time there was no way out for her. At least that's what he thought.
(Next post Shadow will have taken on one of our bodies, not sure which yet but yeah.... if he isn't taken out before my next post he'll live.)

She felt the sickening pop under her fingers and smiled as blood covered her hands. The shadow was screaming and cursing, but Sara heard none of it over the pounding of blood in her ears. She was so pumped with adrenaline, so focused on bashing the girls head against the ground that barely even felt the flaming hands grabbing at her face.
She banged the girls head hard on the floor over and over, willing her to go still, until slowly, the hands fell to the ground. And then something slammed into Sara's back, right on the spine. She cried out in pain, rolling off of the shadow Tara, and turning, teeth bared, at the still unformed shadow.
Carolyn watched as Matrim approached, a smile on her face. Bring it on, she thought to herself. She could take him. Definitely. Her qi had burned him once and it would do it again. He wouldn't be able to get near her- What? Her eyes narrowed as he pulled out a staff. He charged her, and being faster, when he slammed the staff downwards, even though she tried to back away, it still caught her across the cheek. She went down hard, landing on her stomach and immediately pushing up onto al fours to glare at him. The air around her became hotter as she tried to make it so he couldn't get anywhere near her, even with the length of the staff.
"Bring it....."
She caught sight of someone behind him and a smile touched her lips, but she didn't move her eyes to look to the person. "You won't come out of this alive. I'll dance over your ashes when this is over."
Geoff, although slow, was strong. He came up behind Matrim as quietly and quickly as possible. He brought his right foot up, and kicked out at Matrim's back, trying to slam him closer to Carolyn to be burned. If it didn't work as well as he thought it would, he would follow up by planting his right foot and slamming his left fist at the side of Matrims head.
Sara decided it was best to take out the last shadow. The shadow Tara was already pretty much done for. If she was still alive, she wouldn't be much use now would she?
Sara charged the shadow, drawing back her left fist and aiming to slam it into the shadows gut as her right went for a hook at its face. She had a burst, but if she could take this thing down without it, she wanted to.
If the punches connected, she would grab it by the front and push back, slamming it up against the tub filled with what looked like human remains, slamming it hard against it as she slammed a knee into its guts.
