Zeek was walking around his home, he had been working out in his gym area, he didn't know what Tara was up to today, but he figured he'd see if she wanted to go out or something. After all he had been busy getting his corporation up on it's feet. He was getting his business into any industry he could, discussing buyouts and trusties, endless board meetings.
It was all very boring. He wanted simple, like school simple. So he hired on a few new members to his personal team. People who could handle some of the more tedious stuff while he figured out the basics. What he wanted to do, which companies he was interested in, where the bulk of his cash would go.
It was all very costly, but in the end he'd be all the richer for it. What he wasn't completely settled on, however, was what he should do with Tara, whether they should go out or stay in and do something. After all it was a big house, might as well put it to use somehow. All these rooms and yet not a single one was really filled. Even Zeek's own room had empty space that was never used for anything.
He'd quickly text Tara.
After sending it he figured he'd get a quick shower and change while waiting for a reply since he had just got done working out.

Tara was elbow deep in hot, soapy dish water when her cell phone buzzed in her pocket. She smiled, knowing it was probably Zeek. There were only a few people who had her number, but the only person who really texted her regularly was Zeek. She wasn't quite sure where things between the two were going, but she had to admit, she was quite worried about it. He was a good guy and it would go where it went. She tried to take it one day at a time and enjoy herself.
He was quite intimidating though, she thought as she grabbed a towel and dried her hands. They came from two completely different life's. He was loaded with cash, owned a bloody mansion, a business. He was hardened and tough in different ways then she was. She glanced around her small apartment that she shared with her mother. Her life was... well.. More complicated and pitiful then anything else.
Her hands dry, she pulled out her phone and read the text, then hit reply and quickly sent one back as she practically skipped into her room.
She pulled on something more appropriate, jeans and a light sweater, some comfortable shoes. She moved back into the living room and called her mom as she stared into the kitchen at the sink still full of water. Ugh... Dishes... Her mom answered on the second ring and Tara told her she was going out. Her mom of course, did her customary squeal and babble about her little baby growing up, then they hung up. She pulled the plug in the sink and then left.
40 minutes later, she pulled up in front of Zeek's house. As usual, that tingle of envy tore through her. She chewed the inside of her lip as she casually strolled into his house through the front door, glancing around at the large interior. Rather then play hide and seek, she pulled out her phone and dialed his number. "Hey, I'm here. Where are you...?"

"Hey, I'm here. Where are you...?"
Zeek had been out of the shower, shaving and getting dressed always took longer for her so he had just finished up once she got there. He looked at himself in the mirror as he had answered the phone, "I'm in the master bathroom, heading towards the front door." He said, and would walk out of the bathroom, taking long strides. As he did he noticed a few weird noises in the house. It was weird, but getting to know your house was pretty easy. You knew the noises and groans they made, the only problem being that the house was empty and big. Sound carried, and so it was hard to distinguish the threat of an intruder with that of a normal noise.
He made his way over until he saw her, "Yo," He said as he smiled. He raised his hand up out of his pocket and slid down the handrail for his stairs, the end hitting his hip as he bounced off of it, "So what is that you'd like to do? I mean we could stay in, but for some reasons I've been getting some weird vibes and thought it might be pretty good if we got out of the house to do something outside. Even if it's just in the yard. We could go fishing on an actual fishing boat, no yachts this time I promise, or maybe a picnic."
As he said that he heard the same noise he had, his smile stayed but his attention didn't.
Is there someone here? Someone else, I mean?
He wondered but wouldn't do much about it. Not yet. After all, it could have just been the help. Maybe someone was cleaning the rooms. They did collect dust without use...
We should probably get out of here before I start getting really paranoid.

"Yo."
She waited patiently at the bottom of the stairs for him, watching his every move like a hawk, a smile on her lips as she watched him. What would it be like to live this sort of life every day? As she had waited for him the house had creaked and made noises that had her skin crawling. It wasn't normally that bad when she was here, but this time it had her on edge, even when she knew it was probably just one of his many staff. She was glad that he was finally here and she wasn't alone in this huge place.
"So what is that you'd like to do? I mean we could stay in, but for some reasons I've been getting some weird vibes and thought it might be pretty good if we got out of the house to do something outside. Even if it's just in the yard. We could go fishing on an actual fishing boat, no yachts this time I promise, or maybe a picnic."
Well, wasn't that just odd? Her smile turned nervous as she wrapped her arms around herself, rubbing her arms through the fabric of her sweater. So he was getting the same creepy feeling she was. A small sound somewhere in the house had her head snapping towards it. "That sounds like a good idea." She was never comfortable in his house anyways, but probably even less so on the yacht. Just in the backyard sounded nice though.
She grabbed his hand, biting her bottom lip seductively as she pulled him along with her, walking backwards so she could look at him for a few steps, then turning to drag him along as she walked. "I am pretty hungry, I had work a couple hours of work this morning, then I had to clean the apartment, so I didn't really have time to grab anything..." She blabbered on about nothing, telling him about her day as she wound her way through the house, trying to find the back door.

"That sounds like a good idea. I am pretty hungry, I had work a couple hours of work this morning, then I had to clean the apartment, so I didn't really have time to grab anything..."
The look she gave him after grabbing his hand was so nice, she dragged him along. He listened carefully about her day, but along the way he got that weird vibe. It didn't matter... that is, until he heard a voice, "Wait..." He said as they reached the backdoor. He listened carefully, "Sorry, getting paranoid. That's just Charles..." He wondered who Charles was talking to, but he wasn't too worried about it considering there were some people in the house after all.
At the backdoor he would open it, turning toward her he would grin and walk forward with a smile, "Ladies... first," His hands would go to her hips, and he would lean in to plant a kiss, if she went with it he'd deepen it before biting at her lower lip a bit and pulling her toward the door before breaking the kiss, "Or maybe... last one to that statue over there is a rotten egg...."
He laughed as he would let go, turn and take off toward a statue down the way.
"Sir, can I help you?" Charles walked in to the room to see him, he looked like him... but something was off... hair, he had his hair. But that was impossible, he had been a cue ball just this morning! Had he gotten a toupee? Why? He wasn't bald so much as he shaved his head.
"I'm not your sir," The Zeek look-a-like said, "I don't know who I am. What I do know though, is that I can be you...." He shifted into Charles, looking just like him except a little more handsome, less wrinkles and less gray hair. His fists tightened, "And I don't think you should be up walking around while I'm doing my work. Nothing personal of course."
His fist swung, knocking the real Charles into a wall and causing him to drop unconscious. The shadowman walked out of the room looking like Charles, and headed toward the voices of Zeek and the girl he was with.
"Time to complete the mission...."

"Wait..."
Immediately, she froze, every muscle in her body locking in worry as she turned slowly to look back at Zeek who was listening at a door.
"Sorry, getting paranoid. That's just Charles..."
"Good..." It was weird to see him so on edge, it wasn't like him. He was usually pretty comfortable here. The fact that he was on edge had her even more on edge. The two of them were going to have each other scared shitless in broad daylight. Nice. This time, she followed behind Zeek when he continued down the hall and opened the back door.
"Ladies... first."
She smiled as she passed him, his hands grabbing her hips. Instinctively, she wrapped her arms around his neck, lifting her face into the kiss, a soft moan escaping her as his bit at her lip. Her stomach was in knots, her skin on fire. He always managed to do this to her, drive her insane and have her mind reeling just from a small kiss. She let him lead her to the door when he suddenly broke the kiss. She chuckled as she looked up at him, pushing onto her tiptoes to try to kiss him again.
"Or maybe... last one to that statue over there is a rotten egg...."
"You wish!" She called out as she took off after him. It was silly of him to think that he could beat her. She ran happily after him, easily keeping up with his pace, smiling at him all the while as though showing off. Just before they reached the statue, she would pull ahead, smacking her hands on the stone and letting out a loud, happy laugh. She turned back to watch him the rest of the way, but instinctively, her eyes moved past Zeek to the door. It looked like Charles, but... weird somehow? Gave her chills. Her eyes narrowed as she gestured back and asked Zeek once he reached her, "Is everything ok?"

"You wish!"She took off, and she passed him before long. He really was a slowpoke in comparison, maybe it was all that metal he turned into. At least, he liked thinking of that for an excuse. The truth is that he was just naturally slow. Always had been, he was more of a strength and toughness guy. Who needed all that speed if you couldn't hit something very hard? Right? Well apparently you needed to be speedy to not be a rotten egg. And in this ase, that was him. "Is everything ok?""Huh?" He said, slightly out of breath as he turned and looked to see Charles. He looked good but.. stern? Almost as if something was wrong, but not necessarily that either. It looked as if he had done something to piss Charles off. And then Charles changed, into Zeek, with hair. "What the hell...." Zeek froze as the thing came across the lawn slowly, "Tara... stick close..... we should probably," He turned and saw another one walking up, except this one looked like Tara.... The hell is this?"I think we should get ready for a fight...." He said, turning completely metal as he looked around, "Be ready for anything...." That looks like me from back at my father's fighting club.... Shadowman ZeekStr: 100 Dex: 40 Con: 40 Int: 40 Wis: 40 Cha: 40 "Time to finish the mission...."The other one would come from behind, it would take the form of the girl. They didn't plan on her being there, they thought it would just be the butler and Zeek, but this was alright too, since there were two of them here to carry out the mission. (OOC: This... is gonna be hard....)

"What the hell...."
"Zeek...?" Tara took a shocked and frightened step back as the thing changed and began to walk towards them. She instantly recognized the person. It was Zeek. But before that thing had happened. How many nights had she been at that club and seen him there, watched him fight? Admired him? She would have recognized him anywhere.
"Tara... stick close..... we should probably..."
She followed his gaze, shifting nervously. Her eyes fell on the girl walking towards them. Tall, lean, fit. Attractive. Severely so. There was no mistaking that person was supposed to be her. The clothes she wore left very little to the imagination, but there we no scars on her body as there was on Tara's. The fire had damaged her skin pretty badly. The skin of the person walking towards them was as smooth as silk. Tara's breath caught.
"I think we should get ready for a fight.... Be ready for anything...."
She let out a strangled cry of shock as Zeek turned metal, and backed away from him. Although they had never talked about it, she had assumed he had a qi, but to see it so suddenly scared her. Against her better judgment she stepped away from him, one step after another, staring at him in shock, her gaze flicking over to the other her ever few moments. What the hell was going on...?
ShadowWOman Tara Strength: 80 x 2 = 160 Dexterity: 65 x 2 = 130 Constitution: 100 Intelligence: 25 Wisdom: 25 Charisma: 5 Qi: Matrims master level qi, without requirements and charisma cost.
Shadow Zeek approached the real one with a cocky smile on his face. He had turned to metal. Well you know what? He wasn't the only one who could. The shadow Zeek followed suit, his body turning into metal as well. "You've gotten so pathetically weak. We could do this the easy way, or the hard way. But since I know you so well, and since I tend to agree with you, we'll be doing this the hard way." He shot forward, drawing back his right fist to slam into the real Zeek's face. Metal on metal.

"Tara snap to, don't get shocked, we've got to keep our heads together-"
"You've gotten so pathetically weak. We could do this the easy way, or the hard way. But since I know you so well, and since I tend to agree with you, we'll be doing this the hard way."
Shit....
He threw a punch, Zeek was a bit too slow to see it coming, and the amount of strength nearly broke his jaw off of his body. He was thrown into the ground, digging into the grass and dirt leaving a deep trail from his weight he got up slowly. His ears ringed from the sound metal on metal of that strength made. He would charge to try and take his other self out at the waist, aiming to tackle and wrap up on it.
Damnit why am I so fucking weak?
"Hey," Shadow Tara would say, "So slow to take to Qi. Almost as if you're not smart enough to use it. You want to see what you really wish you could do? I know I do. After all, it's my specialty... I made this one my own, mastered it even better than that worthless teacher of yours ever could."
Tara would completely set fire, lunging out she would aim to drive her left knee into Tara's gut, if successful she would bring both arms up and bring them down over Tara's back assuming she bent over at all.

"Tara snap to, don't get shocked, we've got to keep our heads together-"
Tara eyes went wide as the shadow person began to talk to Zeek, putting him down. And then the punch. Tara let out a shocked scream as Zeek went flying, skidding across the ground and leaving a trail dug into the dirt. Before she could react, her own shadow person advanced on her.
"Hey. So slow to take to Qi. Almost as if you're not smart enough to use it. You want to see what you really wish you could do? I know I do. After all, it's my specialty... I made this one my own, mastered it even better than that worthless teacher of yours ever could."
Tara's anger and pride got the better of her. She gritted her teeth, her expression going from shock and fear to anger as the person spoke. So Tara was slow to qi. Who cares? She did just fine without the magic shit. "Shut up... Just shut up!" Tara already knew what she wished she could do. And it was going to be bad if it meant this person could do it.
And low and behold. They burst into flames. They moved so quickly Tara hadn't even had time to register it before the knee slammed into her stomach, the fire burning through her shirt and scorching her skin. Their two fists slammed into her back and she crumbled off the knee, dropping to the ground with a grunt of pain as she tried to get her breath back. "You bitch..."
She looked up at the person, knowing it was useless. She could feel the heat of the flames and just wanted to run for it. To get away where the person couldn't hurt her anymore. Couldn't show her how pathetic she was. Tara tried to roll away and gain her feet, but she stumbled, pain tearing through her abdomen as she tried to make a break for it to Zeek.
Shadow Zeek smiled at the real one as he slid across the ground. Just as he had thought. Pathetic. This was going to be easy no matter what way they did this. And that made shadow Zeek sad panda. He had been hoping for more of a challenge. But hell, as long as they got the job done. The girl though was a loose end. His eyes moved to her as she suddenly ran towards Zeek.
He tisked and took off, stepping in front of her and slamming his fist into her stomach, dropping her to the ground again, this time coughing and cursing. She stayed down, which was smart of her as he turned to advance on Zeek once more.
The guy charged him, but the shadow merely smirked. He braced like a football player waiting for the tackle and took it. He landed on his back then rolled so that he would be on top, pinning Zeek under him. Then he slammed his fist down at his face. Once. Then twice. Then a third time. "Don't fight it! Just give up! You're to pathetic, when are you going to realize you're to weak?!" Again the fist slammed down.

Zeek was wrestled so that he was on the bottom. The stronger version of himself looming over him like a deadly omen. He was so pissed that this thing had attacked Tara, that the other version of Tara had attacked her. He wanted to kill them both, he lacked the strength to do it, and it was all because of that bastard... that bastard who shot him. If that hadn't of happened, he would be able to kill these two and be done with it.
Shit....
"Don't fight it! Just give up! You're to pathetic, when are you going to realize you're to weak?!"
Punch after punch he was slammed in the face, a metallic substance leaking from his nose, a hand went up and touched it. His blood was like quicksilver while his Qi was going, and he had nothing he could do except try his best to fight back.
"Shut up!" He would say throwing a fist for the other ones jaw, hoping to connect. He would throw his other fist if successful, aiming again to hit him, "RUN TARA! RUN! Just leave me and GO!"
Fuck... there's still that other version of her....
A little help was appreciated but unnecessary. The Shadow was perfectly capable of taking out it's pray without the help of Zeek's Shadow. Then again, they had a mission, and it didn't matter how it got done so long as it did get done. And she planned on doing it well. She was ordered to kidnap Zeek Masters, the plan was for both of them to become Zeek and take him down, but this girl was a real wild card. She made this all the easier...
The fake Tara walked over to the real one, bending over to her, still completely on fire, "So weak, so pathetic, so scared. Everyone's always so scared of themselves. Terrified of who they should be, when really you just look at us and you see one thing," A hand would go over the girls mouth and try to cut off her oxygen supply by pinching at the nose and burning her.
"Your own failures." She laughed as she would burn the girls mouth and nose while trying to suffocate her enough to knock her out. If all went as planned and she did get knocked out, she'd pull away from her to go help finish the mission with the Masters boy, or whatever name he was going by.

"Shut up!"
The punch to the shadow's jaw actually connected. He would admit, he was surprised. He hadn't though that the kid had so much fight in him. But he merely rubbed his jaw, chuckling. He was still to weak to do any real damage and to take what the shadow was going to dish out.
"RUN TARA! RUN! Just leave me and GO!"
"Aw, that's sweet." He leaned down, looming over Zeek's face. "Let me tell you what I'm going to do to your little girlfriend though. I'm going to kill her. I'm going to tear her limb from limb. That's of course after I do a couple other choice things with her body... And again, that's after she's burnt to a crisp by my associate over there." He laughed louder as he leaned back up and then slammed his fist down again. "Just go to sleep and this can all be over with... At least until you wake up again Zeek."
Tara was curled up on her side, moaning and writhing with pain. The hit to the gut had been rough after the flaming knee. Oh god... She was going to die wasn't she? She heard Zeek call to her, but it only made her whimper with anger and fear. How could he tell her to run? How, when her legs could barely support her? When she had a friggin doppleganger who was faster and stronger? Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw the flaming women walking towards her. She tried to crawl back to her feet, but the thing was looming over her before she had moved an inch.
"So weak, so pathetic, so scared. Everyone's always so scared of themselves. Terrified of who they should be, when really you just look at us and you see one thing."
Tara pushed her head back into the ground under her, wishing she could just sink into it as the hand came closer and closer to her. The hand touched her face, burning her. Tara let out a scream of pain, reaching up to grab onto the shadows arm as her oxygen was cut off, the flames burning her palms.
"Your own failures."
And then the heat suddenly wasn't so bad. Tara felt funny. Her skin felt tingly and warm. Her eyes, which had been squeezed closed opened to see her own arms on fire. Her first thought was, 'oh. I see. I'm completely on fire. I'm dying, that's why it doesn't hurt.' Her mouth and nose still hurt, the skin burnt slightly, and her palms which had gripped the flames.

Zeek was pissed... he was beyond pissed. In fact, he wanted to tear this guys lungs out. And that's exactly what was going to do. First things first, when metal objects hit, and vibrates, that hurts. The punches, they hurt like normal punches and then his whole body rang from it, which gave him a cheap idea....
"The fuck you will," He said as he would shoot his right fist into the guys junk, once that was over his hand would open and clench down and twist as hard as he could. It was one of the cheapest moves a fighter could pull, but in a situation like this he had to do it, he had no other choice. He looked over to see Tara... on fire?
"That's right... just go... just drift into it. Nice and slow, steady unconsciousness..." And then the girl set fire. The Shadow felt it's hand burn slowly, but she gripped down as long as she could, "Come on... come on.... oh fuck it FUCK!"
She pulled her hand away shaking it, it hurt a bit. She didn't like getting burned, and she didn't want a mark. This girl was using her Qi... how the hell was that happening? She was a fucking spitting image of what this girl wanted to be, yet she had the same Qi... were only their strengths different?
"Tara, fight back! NOW!" Zeek yelled, hoping to snap her out of it as he would continue his vice grip on the other guys junk. He didn't know he was fighting a losing battle, but the truth was he didn't care. Worst case scenario, he'd try to rip this guys nuts off. In which case, he can't do those things to Tara, and probably wouldn't have the drive to anymore.

"Come on... come on.... oh fuck it FUCK!"
Tara laid still, not struggling, simply hoping against hope that something changed to make this all better, to make it all go away. The girl yelling seemed to be a good side though and in response, Tara tensed, then twisted her head to the side, trying to knock the hand from her mouth so she could breath.
And then the girl let go. Tara drew in a deep breath, filling her lungs with cool air despite the flames covering her, then sat up, her hands at her throat in fear and shock. For a moment, her eyes focused on nothing, then moved to the shadow, confused at what was going on, then to her own hands to watch the flames. The realization hit her like a brick wall. She had a qi. And that qi hurt the shadow.
"The fuck you will."
The shadow Zeek pulled back his fist again, preparing to slam it down once more on his face. He could do this all day. It would be a hell of a lot easier if he just took the damn knockout out, but he really could keep this up for a quite a bit longer. Long enough that Zeek would be passed out before he was done. His confidence and belief that he could stop the shadow was amusing. Or at least it was until the fist shot at his crotch.
He froze on contact, his eyes wide, fist drawn back as he hovered over Zeek. The metal rang all up through his body, everything vibrating. He managed a weak gurgle, then a grunt as he seemed to come back to himself, angrier then ever. Only to have his junk suddenly twisted. A growl of anger and pain tore from his mouth
"Tara, fight back! NOW!"
"Shut up!" Shadow Zeek slammed his fist down at the real Zeek's throat, hoping that would end it NOW and loosen the guys grip on him. He wasn't taking this SHIT. His hand gripped down on the neck all his weight falling forward to choke him out.
Tara heard Zeek call out to her. The sound of his voice, his command seemed to knock her back to her senses. She sprung to her feet, throwing herself at her shadow person, arms outstretched to tackle her to the ground and pin her. The thought of strength on strength never occurred to her, she only knew that the fire had hurt her and she could use that. Whether it would work was a different matter all together.

"Shut up!" The guy threw a fist into Zeeks neck, causing him to clench down as tight as he could with his hand, but he felt his wind pipe cave in, bend in. After all, he was metal, and if metal got bent it took a lot of force to undo what had been done. Meaning before long in order to breath he'd have to end his Qi. In the meantime he took what little air he could as he clenched down, his other hand going around the one gripping the man to aid in squeezing down. He aimed to rid him of them.
He merely gave a nasty face as he pulled hard, getting his last kicks in before fading into unconsciousness, as his Qi ended and he became flesh and blood an immediate amount of pain completely overcame him, and though it hurt he screamed out one word. "RUN!"
And with that he was breathing, each breath causing his throat immense pain, trying his best not to cough for fear the pain of doing so would kill him. And though he was no longer metal he continued to twist and pull on the piece of the man that he had. One more attack would surely end it all.
Shit... he's making me look ba--- does he have him by the? Oh, I guess I got the better situation here.
Shadow Tara turned to her opponent. Who tried to tackle her but wouldn't be able to do so. Shadow Tara's foot moved back and braced as the girl impacted with her, and though she was getting burned, the shadow dealt with the pain by quickly trying to dish out her own. She reached down with her left hand and attempted to fist the girls hair to try and tear her away. Regardless of whether or not that worked she'd draw back her right fist and aim to plant it into the girls face over and over as she tried pulling her up with her left hand.
"Pass out you fucking bitch!" She said, getting frustrated with this girl, "Too little too late now girly! You'll never be able to beat us with that pathetic and weak body. Your boyfriends going to be broken, you're going to be broken, and when you wake up you'll be at the mercy of our boss. And she is VERY creative with her punishment..."
She would stop punching her at this point if that had worked and aim to grab her by the head with both hands in order to drive her down face first into a knee. The whole time the girls hands would be getting burned, but it was a lot worse than what Carolyn would do to her if they were late.
