It was true from what she had heard, and about the responses to the description she was giving out as students stared at her like she was crazy and continued giving her directions "He's about this tall...He's got blonde hair...and he's usually grumpy!" Kasumi said in a cheerful voice, wearing once again a white buttoned up T-shirt and a skirt that stopped just above her knees.
It wouldn't be long until she found Sky as it would seem that by the directions given to her by the students that she was closing in on the crazy British ex-school mater of hers the students weren't really sure about what to think of Kasumi as she darted down one last hallway.
She'd find the crazy blonde eventually!

Sky was about to enter the library in order to finish some paperwork for his advanced English class as well as for his hospital internship when another student stopped him. It was a local senior that was in the same math class as Sky who he tutored in English in return for being tutored in Math. Math was not one of Sky’s best subjects.
“Dude, Sky!”
“What is it Harris?”
“There is this hawt Japanese chick looking for you… she like knows you from another school... er... something.”
“Alright. Thanks for the heads up.”
Harris went on about his business as Sky went to find this woman that was looking for him. There had been quite a few oriental women at his old school and the Englishman was not exactly an expert at telling the difference between Japanese, Chinese and Korean. As he ran through names and the chance that they would be looking for him Sky wasn’t coming up with any real matches… unless they weren’t exactly looking for him for good reasons… Kasumi. Subconsciously his fist tighten in his pocket and caused him to remove it to look at the tighten limb. Was he still that infuriated by everything from that school? Could he not put it to rest? He had been able to put to rest his parents death… why not that?
Slowly the Brit turned a corner glancing down at his hand held waist high before him, trying to figure out why. Perhaps with time he could put it behind enough… as he had with Jyo… at least that way he would be able to function without such reactions passing his conscious mind. With a sigh, Sky’s blue eyes shifted from his hand to the hall before him only to see that very woman storming toward him!

Kasumi laughed a bit as she had been running down the hallway, he didn't look much different but she had looked different with her hair cut short. The girl had leaped up playfully her feat planting carefully on one wall before thrusting her sideways onto the other wall as she continued to gain speed.
Within seconds the woman had bounced off the wall and gracefully landed behind Sky, a small little smirk spread across the Japanese girls face as her head tilted backwards ever so slightly, her eyes half closed as her hands dangled at her side.
"Yare yare...who'd of thought...." She said absentmindedly, with an added giggle "That you'd be here..."

Sky watched as Kasumi pulled her feat of agility and quickness. Why did he have to make enemies of the people who surpassed him in his best physical attribute? He was smarter than that… usually but that could come under debate considering some of the thing he had done. Despite the feeling of paranoia from seeing someone who the last time you had met turned you into a crater and the tensing of the muscles in his hand, Sky did not actually turn around to face the girl as she landed behind him. Simply he tilted his head over his right shoulder to assist in his communication… uh… that giggle.
“Well it is California, my dear… surf, sun, beaches… it is quite a nice place to live when you have the money for certain luxuries such as a beach house. However I supposed the same could be said about you… who would have thought…”
Good thing he stopped himself for a moment… saying ‘finished high school’ would not have been the best thing to say in such a situation.
“… that we would have ended up at the same school again?”

Kasumi had craned her neck slightly, did he just brag about his living conditions to her? It sure as hell sounded like it as she quickly turned on her heel to face his back now her arms stretching high above her head, the sounds of her fingers cracking as she gave a delightful little giggle once more
"Oooh~? I found my self out here because it was far away from that last school of ours..." Kasumi said simply, her arms dropping down behind her again, clasping one hand by the wrist as she tilted her head a bit to the side taking this moment to examine sky.
He seemed perfectly healthy and not much different then the last time they had met, if anything he had probably gotten slightly taller and a bit more cute but that was about all there was to it which caused Kasumi to sigh "Mm..I live with an 8 year girl and a 19 year old boi~" She stated, attempting to some-how one-up Sky's fancy beach house by bragging about the people she lived with
"So how are your ribs~?"

Cracking knuckles… was she heartless enough to attack him while his back was turned? Sky hoped not. He chuckled lightly at the comment of the school’s distance from their last. Why? Because there were plenty of others… fate must have had a grudge against him for something he had done. The only thing that could be worse was Octave or Ichiro showing up… er. The Englishman immediately tried to wipe that thought from his mind out of fear of some demented self-fulfilling prophecy. In order to take edge off, he went to his comfort… cigarettes of course. He dug out his pack as he started to turn, deciding to face her long last, and placed a fresh one in his mouth.
When Kasumi mentioned living with two others, nineteen and eight, Sky paused the act of lighting his cig to think for a moment on whether or not that was to mean something. He would have no recollection of Jyo having a little girl… if he even knew in the first place. As he lit the paper tube, taking nice long drag he stared coldly for a moment at the girl before him… how were his ribs? How were his ribs?! Cute… real cute. There was a temptation to make up a sob story about how it limited him in daily activities but his memory of Kasumi said she wouldn’t care… He exhaled the smoke and shrug.
“Better than the last time… fag?"
Trying to be nice was become quite diffcult...

"No thank you, I don't smoke." She said with a full blown smile, she wasn't sure if Sky was still angry toward her about what had happened but she didn't really take any of that stuff personally, it's just how she was. A fight was a fight and in fights people got injured, that's just the way things went.
"Mm...I'm living with Jyo now" She had decided to clarify upon her previous statement, giving a small nod.
Her head tilted to the side a bit, she wasn't the smartest around but she wasn't an entire moron either...she could read body language well enough to know that Sky wasn't exactly pleased at her being here nor did he find any of her childish antics very amusing, though if she recalled correctly he was the one that went nutso and attempted to blow the entire school up, not her.
"Heyyyyy...Skyyyy....You're still pretty pissed about that aren't you?" She smiled, she knew it was true and there was really no purpose for him to attempt to deny it, she didn't really have any intentions of keeping any bad blood with him infact one of the reasons she had hunted him down was just because she wanted to talk to him.

A simple shrug was all Sky gave in response to her refusal of a cigarette as he placed the pack back in his pocket. It was a smart choice of her part… smoking is bad for you. This of course was followed by a nod as she clarified her living conditions… and a part of Sky was happy for her. After going through Octave and who knows who else, he was honestly glad that she was with a half decent guy, at least by Sky’s strict standards, for a change. Even if it was only staying with him. And since she said she didn’t smoke manners dictated that the Brit at least try to keep the smoke away from her, so his next exhalation was tilted over his left shoulder. Then it came…
"Heyyyyy...Skyyyy....You're still pretty pissed about that aren't you?"
A sigh escaped him as Sky shifted to prop himself up against the nearby wall, slightly shamed by the all to obvious observation. There was just something that made it all too hard to forgive… like it was all unfinished… the second to last chapter of a novel leaving the reader awaiting all to anxiously the finale. Another long drag to sooth himself again as this time the smoke steamed from his nostrils like a cartoon bull before it charged… save that Sky was going to charge anything. He glanced sidelong at Kasumi, his head now tilted back again the wall.
“I… I just find it so hard to forgive. Its just… to me… like everyone knew what was happening and yet still, at one point or another, went to help that man. Only myself and Evan stood against… and then… everyone… everyone just switches sides again and expects it all to fucking fine! I guess… I feel… I don’t know.”

Kasumi chuckled softly as she propped her self onto a wall opposite of Sky, her head lowered as the bangs dwindled infront of her face. She really hadn't the heart to tell anyone one of the reasons that she had sided with Kazahana, but that wasn't something for anyone to know anyways, it wasn't their business.
As if she hadn't felt guilty enough about her choices Sky's statements did not make the fighter feel any better about her self as her eyes remained fixated on a seemingly interesting piece of tile before she spoke up
"We were kids...asked to handle situations that not even adults were capable of comprehending...we all tried to do what we thought would be the best...We tried to follow the path with less bloodshed..."
It was how Kasumi always felt, hell, it was one of her speaches when she was in #499 about how they were all just high-school students pretending like they were adults attempting to fight some sort of holy crusade, she had wanted a normal life but that was robbed from her.

The blue eyes of the Englishman gazed down his face at the girl across the hall. Apparently his words had had some bit of a negative effect on her demeanor… that had not been his intention, nor had his flying off the handle as he had. Hell, he knew the effects of what they had gone through… all did one no more than the one beside them… he had tried to blow up everyone and smoked to this day because of it all. He took yet another deep drag before pushing away from the wall to stand yet again. Not only had he inhaled the smoke but he was going to try and inhale his pride, his air of superiority, and the strict “black and white” moral code of his.
“Well… we all want to put it behind us so… clean slate, right? Besides… in all honesty, there were many times when I was focused solely on destroying my enemies… bloodshed didn’t matter as long as I achieved my goal. It didn’t matter if two hundred people had to bite it if I got Ichiro… I guess I shouldn’t act so high and mighty.”
Yeah, Sky knew that he often came across as thinking he was better than others, it was even conscious on several occasions. With the words he extended his hand for a friendly shake, to let bygones be bygones between them. After all, they had known each other for nearly four years and had even been friends at one point… they should be able to return to that.

Had she been some stuck-up englishman she'd of probably accepted the handshake, but she wasn't. As such Sky's attempt at a friendly hand-shake had gotten thrown into something completely unexpected as Kasumi gave a soft giggle, both of her arms thrown about the blonde englishman's neck pulling him into a hug she was much sure that he didn't want.
It wasn't her intention to carry over any bad blood that the two of them possibly had from #499, and that's why as soon as she had heard that Sky was here that she had hunted him down, they shouldn't of had to be enemies like they were but life dealt them funny hands.
With a smile and a playful giggle the Japanese girl finally pulled away from the embrace, her head gracefully tilted to one side "I'm very sorry about turning you into a crater Sky-kun."

Err! What was this? A hug?! Bu-but he’s… British!!! No hugging in public, well no one else was around… but still! Needless to say Sky was caught completely off guard by the act and stunned. Not only that but it caused a great deal of blood to rush to his face causing his cheeks to become a rosy color. He gently patted the girl on the back for some reason. It seemed like something he was supposed to do… he wasn’t good with hugs, as his daughter knew very well. Despite what his last girlfriend might lead people to believe Sky was quite a reserved person for the most part.
Once Kasumi pulled away from the hug Sky tilted his head upward and to the right to hide the color in his face. Frankly the idea of being caught blushing was not one he was fond of, he had appearances to keep up and whatnot. He quickly cleared his throat and shrugged slightly, trying to whole forgive bit…
“Well… that’s all in the past now, right? So… all is forgiven.”
The hug had definitely thrown him off…

She had a feeling that hugging him would have made him uncomfortable and that left people to wonder if she had done it purposefully for that very reason, it was always a past time of hers to make guys uncomfortable in some way as was obvious in the way which she normally dressed.
But he attention wasn't focused on annoying or teasing Sky at the moment her hand coming up slowly to scratch the back of her own head, giving a simple little yawn "So Sky how has your little girl been?" Kasumi questioned him with her head tilted to one side.

The Englishman took a short puff off his cigarette while glancing toward Kasumi as he did his whole blow the smoke away from the non-smokers thing. But a question was asked and deemed an answer though he was unsure of how to put it exactly. The reason being that his daughter was a conundrum in and of herself, hard to explain how a such a thing is…
“Well, Reia has been doing better since he got here. I guess she is enjoying the California weather and having a new city to explore and make new friends… though I get the feeling she misses all her old friends. Probably misses our old living arrangements as well… whole family thing.”
Oh yes, Sky had chosen his words very carefully, avoiding names and any bit of specifics. Why? Because in truth, the falling part of their little unit had bothered him a great deal though he would never admit to it to Kasumi. They weren’t that close nor was he in a condition where he might mention something like that. He shrugged lightly as he tapped a few ashes off the end of his cigarette.
“What have been up to since we last saw each other? Besides moving in with Jyo…”

"Nothing really.." Kasumi responded to his question in kind, she felt a little bad for the poor girl. Kasumi's parents had divorced at an early age for her and thus when Sky stated 'the whole family thing' her mind had wandered to the worst posibility that it was only Sky and the little girl now.
But she wasn't one to pry on issues, instead her hand had risen up to her face as she began to examine her nails. She didn't really know what to say, she'd honestly run out of things to talk about before she gave a bit of a sigh.
