The Englishman commented sarcastically to Kasumi’s reply. To his experience she had never been the talkative type, but then again there wasn’t much reason to talk back then. When Sky considered someone in the light that he had Kasumi at one point… civility often went right out the door. With another long drag, he finished off his cigarette and then proceeded to drop it before grinding it into the school floor while he exhaled. It seemed that everything between them had been settled for now… and that was good enough for one day. Baby steps…
“Well, it was actually good to see you again., Kasumi. I’m glad to see you have a good home… now I bid you adieu, my dear. I have a bit of paperwork to finish for school and my internship.”
With that Sky gave a quick polite bow before he turned to head back to the library. Honestly, he was trying to avoid another hug… he was not used to that kind of greeting for farewell… even from his ex. To think of how his first date went… and yet a hug made him feel awkward. Bizarre no?
