Kaia is as intelligent as she is beautiful. She is often the one that sits quietly in the back of the class room taking everything in. Watching the way students interact with each other. Seeing who is a true friend and who is not. She watches the way that people come and go, how they interact and react to the world around them. Kaia is not afraid to show her intelligence. Not that the advanced classes don't give it away anyway.
Kaia is a strong woman. While she is a girl at heart, she needs nothing but herself. No one has, as of yet, been able to really crack through the exterior of a girl that has lived through many things. Not that her history is unique or new, even she knows that she is not alone. But Kaia protects herself the only way she can. She may seem open.. or sometimes snoody if one were to talk to her. Her mood, like anyone's shifts. Depending on environment and her day. Sometimes she's open and talkative, and other times she carries that better than thou personality that exudes her intelligence.

Build: Kaia is not much of a fighter. Her build is slender but firm. She works out every afternoon and runs every morning when she is able and weather willing. Her body has a bit of toned muscle, but she is not trained to use any of it in martial arts.

Kaia has gentle pale kin. Unblemished for the good care that she gives it. Frequently moisturizing it and taking care of her face to make sure that there are no marks that will marr it. She has a slender stature. Giving her a pointed chin, a small nose and gentle curving lips of a pale pink color. Her eyes are a midnight blue, a blue so dark that often times it's mistaken for black or a dark purple depending on the clothing that she wears. She has shoulderlength layered hair that falls in beautiful swags of silver threads to just past her shoulders. It shimmers in the sunlight but seems to come alive in the moonlight.
Her waist is thin, her legs are long, and her arms are slender and well formed. Her chest is in porportion to the rest of her body, but she has enough to make someone happy if they get lucky. She's often seen dressed pretty nicely. She works at a department store, and so this enables her to get good discounts on the nicer clothes in life.

Description of style: Kaia is not a trained fighter. So she's at a disadvantage against someone that actually knows what they're doing. She does her best though. Sending out kicks, punches, and doing what she can to stay out of a dangerous range. Such as getting caught against a wall, held up against her will, things like that. But the main way that Kaia fights back is she negotiates. She's very intelligent when it comes to people, figuring out why their angry. Trying to find the trigger that will calm them down. She's the kind of girl that can get someone out of certain situations by using her voice and her intelligence to change the state of their mind in the situation.
History Information
History: Kaia was born seventeen years ago to her parents Aubrey and Lee Stephenson. She was a bright girl from the start. She spoke earlier, read faster, and walked before most of the other kids of her age. She was singled out in elementary school for being quite a bright individual. She had been taken out of the normal schools and put into a school for the gifted and talented. Her father was a doctor and was able to afford the extreme tuition that would afford his daughter every possibility that she could have. Her mother played in the California Orchestra, and therefore traveled a lot. The girl needed a place to be looked after while her parents were busy.
Kaia missed her parents at first but after not knowing them for so long they became obselete. So later, when she was about fifteen years old and still in the Academy for the gifted, the news of her parents' death didn't hit her as hard as most thought. It wasn't as though she had never cared for them at all, just that she hadn't known them since she was seven. She spent holiday's at school and the summers she went on trips that were organized through the school to foreign places.
With her parents' death her life changed drastically. She was pulled out of the only home she had ever known, away from the only family she had ever known. Her uncle, her father's brother came to take her in. The last living family. He had no children and his wife had died some years ago, but he was willing to take the young teenager in. Her parents life insurance policy was given to her, it wasn't too much, but it was a quarter of a million dollars. However, due to her parents will, it was tossed into a trust fund until she enrolled full time in college or turned twenty one.
Her Uncle took her to Long Beach where he lived. He didn't have the funds to let her return to the Academy. And while the Academy did technically offer scholarships they were all taken and so none could be afforded to her. Her Uncle let her go through a couple schools before tossing her in 259 saying it was her last chance. She either graduated or she was on her own. And so with this one last chance Kaia is trying to give this school and the people in it a chance.
