Typical day on the 259 courtyard. Pretty beautiful courtyard in Keith's opinion. Keith was keeping to himself playing his PSP. One of the many devices Keith had to keep him occupied. Keith liked to carry light things when going to school. Books were back at his apartment. If he wanted to read, he'd either use his laptop, his cellphone, or his PDA.
All he wanted to do was play games to kill the time before his next class. He was pretty much into his game of Metal Gear AC!D 2. Keith didn't want to be bothered. But having his peace and quiet probably wasn't going to happen. Especially not at a school like this. This would take awhile for Keith to get adjusted to the environment at 259.
Quickly, Keith placed the game on pause and attached the PSP back onto his keychain. He would rise from his seat and face four students that approached him without a moment's hesitation.
I swear, these students must have a thing against transfers...
Why try to assault Keith all of a sudden? But that's life. Keith adjusted his shades and walked towards the four students. Without hesitating, Keith would bring up his right foot. From left to right, Keith would throw a hard and fast roundhouse kick to all four of these pompous asses of high school students.
He really wasn't in the mood for any of this shit.
Is it so hard to get some quiet time?
In less than ten seconds flat. The four students were laying on the ground seeing stars. And that was Keith being his 'nicest' in a fight. He would leave the four students laying on the pavement dazed and take his seat back at the picnic table.
Keith would resume his game.

It was a typical boring school day but there was one thing that was always promised with these types of schools, entertainment. Kasumi wore a grin as she sat from her perch sipping on a box of juice, watching on as a man quickly disposed of four other students before returning to his previous activities.
It had offered the purple haired beauty a few moments of entertainment before she was once again bored out of her mind, tossing the juice box away into the garbage can she gave a small yawn, her hands stretching up above her head as a slight mewling noise passed from her position near by Keith.
The other student her self was laying on her back ontop of a near-by picnic table now, her head dangling off of one edge of it curiously watching the man as he played his video game, she was almost tempted to not bug him...but that was so un-kasumi like sooo with a giggle and smile she spoke up.
"Konichiwaaaaa strongggg-guy~!" She called out from the small distance between the tables.

"Konichiwaaaaa strongggg-guy~!"
Eh?
Seemed that Keith would have to put his game on pause again. Placing his game on pause again, Keith looked up and laid his eyes on the girl that was saying hello to him. She was laying there on top of the picnic table away from that picnic table and Keith didn't notice her?!
Oy, there must be something wrong with me not to notice a girl laying on top of a picnic table in front of me...
Keith would have to smack himself later today. He must've been pretty entranced in his game of Metal Gear AC!D 2. It would be rude to ignore her. She said hello, the courteous thing would be to say hello in return.
"Konichiwa," Keith politely and casually replied waving to the girl.

She gave would could be considered a wave back, afterall she was laying on her back on a picnic table hanging upside down so it was a little hard to negotiate things like that.
Her lips curled into a small smile whilst her head tilted abit to one side, he was pretty strong she'd give him that much; he took down those four students without even so much as breaking a sweat and that told her one of two things.
Either the kids here were weak, or he was at least somewhat strong. Either way, Kasumi's interests had been perked as she closed one of her eyes.
"So what's your name?" She called out from across the short distance.

"So what's your name?"
Might as well make conversation with the girl. It was a relief that Keith could make conversation with a girl instead of having random students trying to jump him. Keith didn't get what the students had against "transfers." Rising from his seat at the picnic table, Keith walked towards the girl that laid on the other picnic table.
Since Keith was fairly new. Might as well start making "friends" on the campus. Without friends, you might as well be by yourself in foreign territory. Though it was nolstagic of 552 in NYC, 259 was new territory for Keith to explore. The 6' Asian continued walking towards the girl.
She seemed to be nice and playful. But looks are usually deceiving. Keith would have his guard up but approach her in a calm, polite, and friendly manner.
"My name is Keith," he said introducing himself to her.

He looked asian, well, apart from the fact that he was six feet tall...she'd have to figure out one of these days what was with all the guys at this school being over six feet tall, with a small and hidden sigh and a friendly wave Kasumi smiled looking up at him.
His name was Keith??? That wasn't exactly a name you'd associate with the way he looked, but she wasn't exactly one to make fun of other people so she just gave a small smile
"Takanawa Kasumi~!" She introduced her self whilst smiling, holding her hand upwards to offer a handshake, which would come out rather odd as she was upside down..

"Takanawa Kasumi~!"
Ah yes, in Eastern culture they put the last name first and the first name last. Such as China, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, etc. Versus Western culture, it's the other way around. She was pretty cute, Keith had to admit that. Cute and playful.
Keith casually smiled and shook Kasumi's hand in return. This was a pretty interesting meeting. At least nobody else was going to try to jump him, unlike those four unfortunate students who were stupid enough to attempt such an action. But hey, he got to meet a cute girl in the process.
"I swear, these students must have something against transfers," Keith explained. He added, "I've only been here for three days..."

"I don't know, they've been nice to me." She commented as her hand pulled back from the handshake, her legs stretching out further as she enjoyed lazing about in the sun with one of her eyes shut and the other one opened keeping an eye on the man.
She was almost sure that the blood would begin to eventually get to her with all of it rushing to her head but before she allowed that she quickly sat up, spinning around on the table so that she was sitting indian style and facing him now.
One of her arms propped it's self on her knee as her chin and cheek came down to rest in the hand, watching him "So where'd you transfer from?"

"I don't know, they've been nice to me."
Lucky for her... But she's being nice to me. Which is a plus for me.
Keith adjusted his black shades as he casually looked at Kasumi. She was pretty cute. He was glad that it was a more friendly encounter rather than his earlier encounter with this homosexual Nazi known as Thrush. To describe Thrush, Keith summed it up that the student was a pretty sick bastard... He hoped he wouldn't have to encounter this Thrush for awhile.
So, he would enjoy Kasumi's company until it was time to head back to class. The environment of 259 seemed pretty peaceful versus the environment out east. Keith tried to make the best of his new surroundings.
"So where'd you transfer from?"
"Some school out of New York City," Keith answered. His days at the school were something he wanted to leave behind. "I'm guessing you're a transfer, too?"

"You guessed right, a transfer from PHS #499." She smiled as her head cocked backwards again, this time staring up at the sky hanging over head them, she was bored enough to hold the conversation with the boy but not interested enough to really care much about him.
Afterall, she was just bored and he was some random strong guy that beat four guys down; no harm in making a bit of conversation before she had to bother her self with actually doing some form of school work as the girl yawned widely, falling back onto the table she stretched out, christ she was bored at this school.

"You guessed right, a transfer from PHS #499."
499?
Keith hadn't heard of that highschool before. But perhaps he would take a few prods and find out about this PHS 499. It pretty much sparked Keith's interest. He of course was a transfer from 552. The name of 499 piqued his curiosity. You how people can get when they're curious.
He adjusted his black shades a bit and nodded. Yes he was very interested in know more about this school known as PHS 499. Keith was pretty familiar with other students transferring from 552. Might as well take the time to learn about 499.
"I haven't heard of that school before. Where is the school located?"
Perhaps they would have interesting stories to share about each other's respective schools that they had transferred from. But at the moment, Keith wanted to keep his stories secret for numberous reasons.

"I'd rather not talk about it."
499 was a sour subject for her, and she didn't exactly make any attempts to talk about it either. Somewhere along the lines however she was sure that one of the students had gone to the press about their experiences in the school, even if it only was a tabloid magazine that would listen to the students story without Kazahana's interference.
Everything was detailed in the story, the field trip in which students were killed; the faculty raping students; the security forces beating students to near death and of course the gang war. Everything that had basically happened in that school was written off as Tabloid, how pathetic.

"I'd rather not talk about it."
Keith nodded understanding her want to not talk about 499. It was perfectly understandable. He didn't want to talk about his last school either. It seemed that 499 was just as bad as that school. That school was something he wanted to numb from his mind. Keith indeed have more of his fair shair of the drama and shit that went down at the school.
So he would leave it at that. This was supposed to be a fresh start in life. No need to be bringing up the past. Keith didn't want to bring up his past. There was no need to. Why ruin a fresh start at life?
"How long have you been here at 259?"

"A few days" It was amazing how many people seemed to want to know how long she'd been here, her voice had been completely blissful and innocent, like one of a child that had no cares in the world...well...except for the boogie man in the closet...fucking boogie man...
Kasumi had actually found her self muttering that out loud...In her mind she was questioning when exactly she'd become such an airhead...but...she quickly lost interest on the subject and began to sign some song in obscure Japanese...the words didn't make any sense at all, but the tune was rather catchy.

"A few days"
A few days? Just like me.
Keith was debating if he was still the same person as he was back in 552. Or did he go through a transformation. Who could tell? Only time would tell... Despite some students trying to jump him, Keith was slightly getting adjusted to the new environment that 259 had to offer him. It seemed a bit more peaceful than 552.
If someone asked Keith about 552, he would have all sorts of stories to share. But the school courtyward wasn't the place to be telling such stories. No need to freak the other students out and cause unneccessary paranoia. What he saw at 552 was pretty surreal. But Keith didn't want to touch that subject.
"How are you liking this school?"
