A text would buzz the phone of Gabriel Seran.
Behind the school- 3:45. Dragon business.
-----3:45----
David sat, covered head to toe in white Gear, obviously crushing in weight as the bench bent downwards, being made of metal.
His eyes scanned the crowds, hoodie pulled up and over his head as he waited for the only other individual in this school who Leon deemed worthy of being a Dragon- Gabriel. He cracked his neck, knowing what this would pertain to, and its also why he kept it a secret. He didn't wish others knowing- not until he got the message through to Seran first. Leon was missing, having not been seen or heard from in a long, long time. It was uncertain as to what could cage the Lightning, but right now it wasn't his concern. A Dragon looked out for itself, unless all were threatened.
Thats why David was here.
He planned to stake claim as the new Elder Dragon.
Why?
Well, it will be shown soon enough.
Whatever the reasoning, however, one thing was for certain. Gabriel wouldn't let his claim go without a fight.
He waited.

Of course this morning hadn't been wasted. Being here in transit from San Diego, between, job, home, and this place Gabriel would make use of himself, yes this school was more of his test ground, test ground for what you ask? Test for the future.
With a sly grin on his face and a shovel draped over his shoulder Gabriel had spent the morning doing a bit of his exhibition, something about laying the foundries of this school that left a bit of a smidgen on his cheek and some ground upturned in a circle around the school. Something of a grin on his face as he felt the slight vibrations going on just down below the belt. If only... But this was neither the time nor place for that kind of talk so the 6'2" Super Senior of sorts trailed his way across the schoolyard with a wry grin on his face.
Behind the school- 3:45. Dragon business.
Curious, what did David have in mind, surely nothing with him ever meant a peaceful union of trust and peace, least not now. The two had their rocky beginnings and Gabriel was sure that even now they'd not be off to the best of starts.
Peeling about the school Gabriel stayed close to the premaces approaching David with quite the smile and with a thud would bury the blade of the shovel into the ground before him leaning heavily on it forward looking at David who looked worse for wear. Clearly him and cloths were not friends at the moment.
"Hello David, I don't suspect this to be a court meeting. So Do tell whats up?"

Ah, bout time.
David stood, the ground cracking slightly under his massive weight. He groaned a little under the stress, but his eyes were no less hard. He sighed, then nodded, signal for them to take a walk. His movements would be heavy, and slow, but he didn't mind- he knew that this was the purpose of his items, the only reason for having them. A true warrior, Leon Sudeki, once wore armor of this fashion, and therefore, David felt secure in using them too- after all, how could they cause weakness if the man who beat him wore them too?
"I asked you here for, in truth, a single purpose."
He glanced around- grounds were empty. Good.
"You see, Leon is missing." he paused, letting it sink it. "I have been unable to locate him, even with my...considerable resources. Its my personal belief that he wont be returning anytime soon." He continued to walk, making his way to the courtyard. "Now, gang activity and combat had escalated far beyond what it was when we were previously here- combat and war rule this school. hundreds of students take part in the battle for their grade." He would stop, watching Gabriel's reaction. "As such, it will only be a matter of time until these symbols-" he pointed to the Nova symbol on Gabriel's clothes, and the Aetheral Dragon pattern on his own Chest."-Are recognized as threats. They will pin us all as targets, and will attempt to eliminate the Dragons." He took another deep breath.
"I'm...very unwilling to let that happen."
He clasped his arms behind his back.
"As the final Top Tier Dragon of our day, i am formally assuming command of the Dragons. I plan to rebuild them, and continue our march under Leon's plan." His eyes went cold. "As this claim has never before been done, i brought you here for the express purpose of Challenging it, should you wish." He didn't wait for Gabriel to respond, instead holding up his hand to make Gabriel wait. "Think about this for a second, Gabriel. Don't just jump into a hurried decision. I know you hold no favor with me, and i certainly hold no love for you. But with this, i would also like to make a new start, for you and me. We can no longer afford to be enemies in a school where we are on top." He smiled slightly. "I guess you can say I'm turning back time, as it were. Remembering who i was, and am. I want you with me in this Gabriel- its an offer i have never before given. Together, me and you can withstand the might of this storm, and raise from the ashes a new class of Dragons."
He looked over the school.
"We can make a New Dragon Age."
He returned his gaze to Gabriel.
"My monologue is over- go ahead, make the choice. Stand with me, or fight me."
Thus, he would wait.

The monologue itself would be moving, to say the least, nothing short of classic David Blaze. Certainly not. Though there were a few things to contemplate, for one Gabriel knew well enough that one could not turn back time, most definitely David didn't hold that card to play and playing it so when it was convenient for him while Gabriel played it when the time called for such, now was above all the perfect time to be enemies. So long as they were at the top those beneath had no hopes to ascend with a combined effort. And Gabriel being the 'Philanthropist' he was could only see the outcome that favored his end goal. Equality to all however harsh a journey it'd end up as.
Then again prospect under Leon's code as Dragons, it was a conflict he couldn't exactly surmise, Gabriel would lean heavily upon the shafted shovel staring at the ground first out of deepness before turning his emerald hues up towards the sky in a form of complacence. What timing for Leon to disappear, it was no secret that Gabriel disapproved of who he'd chosen as Dragons at one point or another, at least he thought that way for most Dragons, they always picked feeble souls none so far driven as to be such harbingers of demise.
"Perhaps its best we discuss a few things first before I make my decision....?"
Gabriel would muse shortly in a polite and court voice as he'd turn about giving a leading hand for them to walk as one inside towards the cafeteria perhaps. There was in fact much to discuss, and truly over the years he knew who David was but not what made him that way which would always perplex Gabriel to a degree. This chat he'd expect to resolve more than simply who should lead but more what there was to gain.

David's eyes narrowed, only slightly.
A talk? He wasn't concerned, but it wasn't what he expected, to say the least. Of course, much of his words were rather...mis-interpreted by Gabriel, unbeknownst to him. Perhaps he would be questioned on the words he just gave, but that was besides the point. What was the point was that Gabriel had not come right out and said he would fight, but neither had he said he would accept. It made him uneasy, the part of Gabriel whom David knew and remembered well would lead him to a confined space, then stab him in the back with a bulk of his minions. But, he supposed, if that were the case he would only show his own weakness, and therefore would abdicate his right to anything. And David would only come back from a beating stronger than before and without the offer of friendship.
For probably the first time ever, David would show Gabriel trust.
He gave a small smile once again.
"Very well, lead the way."
He would follow after Gabriel to the Cafeteria, where he would grab a large metal bench, dragging it over and planting himself in it, directly across from Gabriel. The bench would bend slightly, but at least it wouldn't break. He pulled down his hood, planting his hands on the table in a business-like manner, waiting for Gabriel to...begin, as it were.

Gabriel would do so, though he did it with a slight disgust taking a lead rather than walking as something more finitely acquainted he figured mentally chalking the thought down that David would want to have Gabriel at his back to prevent trickery. Trust was a thing that was earned not given and Gabriel knew that much from life that he'd yet to have earned as much. Making his way in a slow promenade Gabriel would take the seat opposite of David his eyes lingering quickly to observe the weight at the other end. Was David putting on a few pounds or did he have weighted training cloths. The later he could understand thinking back upon his labored movements in comparison to how he'd moved their last fight. Was it a threat? Unlikely seeing as David's advantage was in speed more than anything else, though Gabriel had seen how Jaus enhanced his overall power when removing the cloth, chances are it was best he'd not let his guard down.
"What do you mean by a new age of Dragons?" Gabriel would jump quickly to the point of his concerns.
While the Dragons were indeed powerful they still had many loose ends, many of which Gabriel did not approve of, be it their character or might or simply their abilities everything presented seemed nothing but flawed. Very few Dragons had earned Gabriel's respect. Those being; Himself, Leon, Mekial, Cain, and David. Yes a very small list all others he'd failed to recognize as legitimate Dragons.
"I'd like to know of your intentions..."

David tilted his head a little, cocking an eyebrow.
"My intentions....?"
He licked his lips a moment, staring at Gabriel for a period of time. He shouldn't tell him anything, as many things could be used against him. Still, he was unlike Leon in one fashion- he believed in co-operation between those of a similiar outlook. He folded his arms across his chest, straightening out his legs before deciding that he would let him in on enough to sate his curiosity, but not everything he planned. He would also let Gabriel know exactly that.
"I won't share everything with you- to do so would be stupidity, on my part. Not because of who you are, but because even the best laid plans can change, or go astray. I will tell you what you asked though." He cracked his neck. "I, currently, will not recognize any Dragon besides the new big three. Leon, who is not here any longer. Myself, obviously. And you." He would watch to see how that was taken, but wouldnt wait for speech. "I know there are others, such as Areon, Matrim, Valo, Sara, etcetera. But i, as the new head, don't recognize them. I see them as morally flawed Dragons, and truly weak both body and soul. Any others i don't know about will have to step forward to be recognized, either to me, or to another Dragon."
He watched students buy things at the snack bar, groaning as he leaned forward again.
"Then you, and myself, will begin to spread the word, secretly, that the Dragons have returned, and are no longer taking things lying down." He smiled. "Though its out of general context for me to say it, i believe the current....situation warrants the action." He placed his finger on the table, making his point. "We will begin to tear through the pillars men, at our whim and leisure. We will make our names feared once again, and when that happens, more will clammor to join the fold. We will pick through the cockroaches, and find the Dragons within."
He shrugged.
"Thats it, as far as that goes."
He didn't tell him nearly everything...but more than enough to sate that curiosity.

"I won't share everything with you- to do so would be stupidity, on my part. Not because of who you are, but because even the best laid plans can change, or go astray. I will tell you what you asked though."
Gabriel would chuckle briskly in his seat, his head leaning atop his outstretched hand to balance the newly formatted weight to the arm still leaving his eyes forward to linger on David, "Aww David, I thought we were trusting one another...?" Gabriel would tease in a dark and provoking manner trying to see if he'd slip somewhere though doubting it greatly. Pissing David off was a close second to his interests now.
"I, currently, will not recognize any Dragon besides the new big three. Leon, who is not here any longer. Myself, obviously. And you."
Gabriel grinned widely, that dark smirk turning all the more sinister, good they agreed on something. It was hard to acknowledge those who earned their titles by backhanded tactics. Fighters like Matrim and Sara although talented sought nothing but an arrogant power in themselves rather than being so bold as to expand.
Good that was two things they could agree upon, a nod with agreement not wanting to touch upon the subject of the Bone Dragon's bastard breed the very ideals of them giving him a disgusted thought.
Gabriel managed yet another laugh, the pillars. They were nothing now, merely weak indentured warriors commanding their small flocks to administer control, no longer the one man armies that'd once inherited this place. Then again Gabriel hadn't knelled before a pillar nor acknowledged one such since David and that was before San Fransisco.
"The pillars are hardly a concern, more so here the blood is lacking.... " Gabriel would shrug, He wouldn't admit David was right but there was very little to do here other than that very simplistic plan. Reforge the ranks of the Dragons and destroy all threats. Simple. "When do we start?"

Honesty?
He wouldn't even begin to put his own logic into that. Did Gabriel think he was a fool? He knew that the young Seran would want David's prestige eventually. It was all a matter of time, and Gabe could be a very patient person. Still, he as much as Acknowledged that David could take the command without conflict. It was a wise decision, to him. It helped them move past the petty issue of control and move on to better things. Now, rather than beat the respect into him, they had only to turn thier sights on others.
David cocked an eyebrow.
"To me, the pillars and thier armies are individual misquitos. But throw several hundred of them onto one of us, and you have problems, no matter who you are. I do not fear thier strength, but am cautious of the possibilities that stem from thier numbers."
He folded his hands before him again, adressing the final question.
"I believe that Dragons who have thier titles in thier mind may step forward and try to force a respect from one of us, maybe both. We'll deal with our inner conflict as soon as possible, and begin scouting immediately. There will be another level added to our titles, andI'm moving you up in rank- you are now Tier Two." He licked his lips. "Gabriel- i won't have people brought into the fold simply because of thier fighting prowess. From now on, you must be a Dragon to the core, not just with your fists. Remember that, when finding...potentials."
And with that, he would stand, groaning under the weight, before nodding and throwing up his hood, walking away without so much as a farewell.
