Come find me, the words would be beckoned into the wind like a threat. This new era of Dragons was certainly something different, no doubt he'd thought this through but in the long run he foresaw himself being leader. That didn't change anythings all in due time he'd retain his position though he was interested in David's reign, curious so to speak how far this "friendship of theirs would last, and how long of course till some offspring of the Dragons ran rampant against them. He could recall the time with Leon training that their had been others no doubt offspring of the same lineage but older and stronger, how far had their breadth expanded and how long before Gabriel would become what he'd planned out from the very beginning? Patience.
"Come hither Dragons.... engage me."
A formal duel of sorts, Gabriel was bored and he needed an equal as his adversary. The only Dragons he knew to be able to match him in battle where David and Leon. Happenstance was they were the few Dragons that he acknowledged to be of the true lineage, all others were nothing to him but whelps.

It was always a burden knowing the truth, even worse when you where the only one with hat information. It was hard when the truth was something no one wanted to know. When the truth is something that would cause pain and suffering, a truth that would cause people to rush to their death over pride, a sense of anger so great it blinded the smartest and most pure of men. But that truth was to be told to only who it was meant.
Areon had recently discovered his lineage is not entirely Fury. He had always wondered where the blood red hair came into play. His father a man of science, with the last name of Fury. A man destined to find truth in all its forms.
His mother, a warrior, blood red hair and features of muscle beyond the norm, fell for the man of science. She, was a Katashi. Yet this is not even the truth that would ruin lives, this was simply fact that brought answers to questions Areon has had about himself for a long time. He descided it was time to do battle though and made way towards one of the two large power levels he had been following.
"I'm here Nova. I am The Wind Dragon. I am here to test you. Leon saw greatness in you, he saw greatness in someone with such darkness in their heart. I told him it would be a mistake, but you know what he told me?"
Areon stopped to take off his goggles, he had reviewed Gabriels abilities and equipment even in his sleep, he would not be needing it for this fight. He knew the odds, the numbers, but not the metal of the mans will. Keeping his eyes closed.
"He said 'There is more to a man than what he has... It's what he uses to shape himself.'. If you prove him wrong."
Areon would open his eyes and fall into stance, one of leon's stances. Turning so his left side faced Gabriel with his left arm raised about shoulder level and bent back, the hand taking a claw like form, hsi right arm the same height also in the shape of a claw. His feet spread alittle past shoulder length and his knee's bent slightly.
"I'll kill you."

Eyes flitted across the courtyard at an old acquaintance, no doubt the one that disapproved of his very being, nothing new to Gabriel in the slightest, he'd come across many enemies but rather than let it get to him he took it as a compliment, one who struck so much fear into people only meant he was capable of great things be it good or evil. Gabriel knew where he stood. All too well.
"I'm here Nova. I am The Wind Dragon. I am here to test you. Leon saw greatness in you, he saw greatness in someone with such darkness in their heart. I told him it would be a mistake, but you know what he told me?"
Gabriel would muffle laughter, yes he found the boys sentiments to be quite amusing, despite his lineage to Leon it meant nothing as far as he was concerned, soon they'd understand his will would be the only one that mattered.
"He said 'There is more to a man than what he has... It's what he uses to shape himself.'. If you prove him wrong."
Gabriel's emerald hues fixing on his stance, yes all too much like Leon's his strengths and flaws all the same, except for the fact that Areon wasn't Leon which made this game all too easy for Gabriel as he strode forward unconcerned until Areon's bubble would be breached.
"I'll kill you."
Thats when the laughter erupted, a dark laughter not since heard from when he'd become the Dark lord yes Gabriel's ambition was regaining itself once more showing his darker traits.
"You testing me? No...." Gabriel's stance would immediately shift; left foot out in front his hands barred before his face defensively and his right foot back weight placed there. "I'm here to test you!"
A rampant snarl coming from his throat as Gabriel would lunge forward however limited that was to strike out with a heavy left jab to the face where Areon had been standing. With his foot Gabriel would attempt a half weighted sweep as to catch his foe off guard but not loose his own balance. Gabriel was playing it rather defensively where Areon could anticipate power levels Gabriel could not. He could however test the waters and draw out his foes short comings and weaknesses.

Thats the straw that broke the donkeys back, Gabriel laughing, as if he where laughing on the memory of Leon and his faith in people. No this would not be an easy battle, for either side, Areon would make sure of it. Areon was many things, he had been called a good guy, a protector, a defender of the pure. He was even once School Captain of 552. Only just recently regaining his will to fight for what he believed, and Gabriel Seran, The Nova Dragon. He did not understand the meaning of others. A lone soul obsorbed by his own existence that he cant even see the value of others.
The guy attacked quickly, Areon let him enter the bubble of attack, let him get into stance, he wanted Gabriel to know that even at his strongest he wouldn't know true will power. As the jab flew in, Areon's hand was barely able to find the point as he was pushed back fromt he force, well his upper body, a quick sweep came in and tripped his legs from under him, spreading his arms in mid air a harsh wind kicked up, and he spun through the air landing softly back on his feet.
He essentially drifted through the air as if in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Then pushed off the ground right for Gabriel, spinning in the air, and bringing around a right kick with that speed and force, gliding through the air with ease. There was anger in his eyes, but not hatred. Areon would prove that it didn't matter the power of someone, he would prove it was what someone decided to fight for, and Areon was chosing to fight for Leon's memory.

Memories served their purposes, though Gabriel's own ambition was not one of selfishness just something he held close and far away so that people couldn't see. Olivia had been his motivator for all things, a teen suicide because the world had treated her so poorly livid with the idea that death would solve those problems and leave behind nothing left unsaid but Gabriel had indebted his life to changing that, even if it meant turning to being brutal and cruel. He would see this world changed anew, the Dragons were just his tool to get their.
As Areon spun through the air Gabriel began to see why he was called the wind dragon. No doubt that was part of his strategies as well. Quickly his mind processed calculating the boy's abilities. No doubt the wind was powerful being able to bend and shape to all forms offensive and defensive but there were weaknesses to it as well. When forced into a corner the wind died down. Gabriel would press him down.
The kick would come around in it's aerial formation, Gabriel's forearm raising to block his face from the strike feeling the force of both wind and flesh smash the forearm with an audible thwack. The crashing of wind verses heat. Taking not a second to waste Gabriel's right arm would lurch out grabbing the leg in place using his own wind abilities to predict his forward momentum into Gabriel and shift his feet backwards and to the right pulling Areon's left downward and into the ground with a harsh slam. Gabriel's left foot coming down atop the boy's upper thigh to pin him there and apply a rough force as he saw the advantages to keeping him immobile.

Being one that researched abilities and people, strengths and weaknesses, attacks and defenses, strategies and tools. He knew beyond all else, his own weakness. As soon as his leg was grabbed he knew what his enemy was trying to do, hold him down. Swirling his wrists quickly forming small vortex's around both fists he bent his upper body inward using the fact Gabriel had pinned his leg to his advantage by throwing both fists into his legs, where a small whirl wind burst would expand along with the punches.
Gabriel was a good strategist, and had power, speed and endurance to back it up. He was indeed strong. These things Areon knew, what he didn't know, was this mans motivations, everything he showed pointed in the direction of selfish ambition, control by fear, control in any form. Get what you can, scrap it up, obsorb it like a parasite.
Areon didn't despise this man, nor his existence, he didn't believe giving him the power of being a Dragon was the righ choice, it made him a deciding factor, something that could turn everything for the worse at the drop of a hat should he so chose, this made him dangerous. If nothing else, Areon would try to only prove that Gabriel would need more time than he thought before he could bring down everyone. Even a mid tier Dragon like himself, someone of enough skill to only be a second level Dragon.

The sonic force embodied of that wind swept painfully into Gabriel's shin as he took a dominating stance, the force itself knocking him face first into Areon, now only adding his weight atop of Areon although loosing his prime position to more or less torture the lad. Now with Gabriel coming down at and angle he'd shift to drive his elbow down into Areon's back hoping the pin pointed attack would surge him down at the ground once more though with the lack of footing there was nothing holding him down and only seconds before Gabriel's hit would contact.
Once he hit the ground hit or miss Gabriel would roll, assuming his enemy hadn't evaded and taken the strike Gabriel's body would roll off to the left, a forceful arm gripping the back of his neck and forcing his face into the dirt as his left hand would punch him in the face.
If he'd dodged Gabriel's elbow would be incapacitated for a few moments with it's damage to the ground sending a slight tremor about them. Gabriel would then roll off to the left and bring up his hands defensively to catch of block a sudden blow.

Areon's calculation was correct in the following events, Gabriel would let go, but he would keep his leg up, so as to push the falling Gabriel to the side, to give him time to roll out of the way with that same push. Bringing them both to a standing position and ready still for combat, but Areon would have only given himself enough time to get upright. His leg was groanign in pain from being stepped on like it was, Areon's legs pushed off as he came screaming in, drawing back that right palm.
Gabriel was strong, about on the same level as David Blaze when it came to attirbutes, so Areon would have to give it everything, his whole body became consumed instantly by the vortex before his launched that right hand forward in the palm strike right into Gabriel's defence. His speed in the air and his strength increased by great amounts, though this was the only time he could use this move safely, it was his strongest attack.
This wouldn't be the last time Areon used this attack, sadly. Gabriel was tough, likely Areon would have to use this attack repeatedly through this whole fight.

The sudden gust of gale forces erupted right before him, suddenly Gabriel was backing up on the defensive as Areon was in his face once more the force being braced if only just by Gabriel's locked forearms seeing as the boy was now impeding his strike all that more closer imposing his force in a forward trajectory.
The force itself sent Gabriel back, his boots dug into the gravel as they pressed him backwards forcefully though the rough terrain. Certainly he'd not been expecting this much force, obviously the Wind Dragon was well named for such a Qi of this relation. A quick nod as Gabriel had decided not to be reliant upon his Qi to end a battle he'd deal with this as he would with tact.
Unraveling his forearms he'd close his grip around Areon's arms and once against thrust his body using his hips to throw Areon back into the ground. If the boy went down this time Gabriel wouldn't place his boot at his leg but rather crack down on the neck and apply enough pressure to get the boy hyperventilating. Yes his goal was not to crush him completely but rather get him to lose the fight on his own terms, pass out through lack of air and let the wind that'd fuel him eventually die down.

Areon felt his body get yanked around, he was bein thrown again. Not something he liked thus his need for being able to levitate, but at such a high velocity it would be impossible to stop completely. So activating the levitation Areon would be able to bounce off the ground, and bring his foot around aimed right for Gabriel's face.
Though that wouldn't come without repricutions. He could taste the copper of blood splashing the back of his teeth causing the coloration to change a dark pink, along with his saliva. His back was throbbing, and with his arms predisposed he wouldn't be able to use his strongest attacks.
Against a foe that out powered Areon as much as Gabriel, he had no choice but to not hold anything back and pull out all the stops to even just keep up. If nothing else, Areon was going to hold his own a bit longer. even if that meant suffering pain for longer. He had been through worse before this fight.

The quick bounce off the ground was unexpected not too mention unforeseen by Gabriel however he'd quickly analyzed the scenario he wouldn't be caught with his pants down again, nope this tactic would be learned and stored for later use. Gabriel's torso would pull back unable to block the coming kick as the full force of it struck Gabriel's face to the left side following through roughly seizing him aback with the wet saliva mixed with coursing blood.
Vexed Gabriel would move quickly his right arm coming up as if to salute but dropping fast his elbow coming down originally into Areon's gut but guessing his pattern of movement it'd strike his face assuming that there was nothing altering it's original force.
Guess, Test, and Record; fighting like science was a very true statement soon as you understood your opponent like an equation they were simple to beat. The tactic to that however was, you have to out last their blows.
