She likes who she is, regardless of the fact she can be naive and trust just about anyone. It will often lead her to being double crossed and back stabbed, she'll forgive them again, but it'll happen again. Plus, she has a tendency to take too much on to her plate, which leads her to stress and other such things. She doesn't like asking for help. He's not done committing some acts that he'll lose sleep over. That's for DAMN sure. And they'll happen soon.
•What is this character’s greatest flaw?
In some ways, his own self-conflict and restraint. Kevin had reached a point where he decided the best way to handle his life was to basically check out from it. Now that he's tryiing to engage in something with a purpose, he now has to decide whether he's going to run it by the book and risk going against his own nature, or let loose on his inhibitions with the fear that he'll ruin everything around him if he does.
•What do you know about this character that s/he would never admit?
He might NEVER be at peace with himself. He may never be alright, and things with his life might never be okay.
•What is this character’s greatest asset?
His dedication and conviction---he tries so hard to fight himself, but he's so committed to it that it helps him not only carry on with some sanity but helps in everything else he does.
•If this character could choose a different identity, who would s/he be?
His father. Though that thought process laid the groundwork for his shaky sense of sanity, he knows his father RARELY had to worry about what he did and the consequences, simply because it didn't matter to him.

Johnny Cash - Hurt.
•In what or whom does this character have the greatest faith?
He trusts God to eventually help him find his way through his own emotions and mentality...and faith in himself to finally do some good with himself for someone.

Kevin's had a fetish for Timberland boots for the longest time, in various shades and styles.

There's too much repressed anger and rage in him to measure; years of never really coming to grips with things that have happened to him are just one component of why Kevin's so fucked off in the head right now.

His mother and Kyr...the oldbies should remember her.

To throw away everything and go somewhere where he can simply start over. And maybe get laid.

Making his mother proud of him...and possibly doing the same for his father, but Kevin'll never truly know if that's the case.

Never seriously making a difference at 552. He did what he was capable of, and it seemed to matter very little.

He'll always feel like he could have done better. Maybe he could have, but no matter how hard he fought, he'll probably never live it down that he let people get hurt...his father included.

That either he'll throw away his inner animal and not save lives, or to finally let himself go from duty, be who he'd built himself to be and end up destroying what matters to him...and by the time he realizes it, it'd be too late.

Watching his father die after finally meeting the man.

Again, saving his mother.

That the line he walks will eventually be less difficult.

When no one's looking? Violence. He's also equally obsessed with trying to defeat that mentality and anything that holds similar mindsets and principles.

Just not having what it takes. People close to him ended up getting hurt and he just never seemed to do enough to prevent it.

Losing his mother to something that he could have prevented.

Again, his mother. He'd broken her heart before; he feels like he owes her his life at this point. A close second would be Kyr, who at this point seems like the only friend Kevin held onto consistently.

Brazilian and Native American; hard working. Highly nurturing, always worried for her son, always fearful of what he might be thinking but never aware what those things may be; a problem she unfortunately was hit out of nowhere with back when Kevin had barely hit his teens.

A man who was wild, brazen and cared not for many others but himself. The only exception was Kevin and his mother; admittedly, he contributed to Kevin's current mental state as it seemed whatever makes Kevin unstable was originally harbored in the father as well. He left his woman and son out of fear that he would hurt them either directly or indirectly...in the last moments of his life, he confirmed to himself that, in some ways, he allowed himself to die as a punishment for not being there for his family and feeling like he could have done more to try and bring up his son.
•If s/he had to choose, with whom would this character prefer to live?
At one point, Kevin would choose his mother. In time, he'll choose to simply be by himself to prevent the responsibility of someone else's safety, which he'll feel completely obligated to.

He's an only son.

At present, it's all one room that makes his apartment. He highly values a picture of him and his mother, his Timberlands and a few clothes he'd recieved from his father as hand-me-downs.

07/19; Kevin is a Cancer. Thinks with his heart, usually keeps his thoughts to himself, some introversion, though he still manages to be a generally versatile person in some cases.

A comfortable pair of sneakers, an MP3 player, a picture of his mother, a laptop, some sort of reference guide should he need it and a punching bag.

He hates himself for his lack of power to truly change things for the better...

His hobbies usually distract him, but he usually isn't calm until he feels like he's done something right.

Quite literally fighting himself; memories of seeing his father die; a few choice nights in prison (do the math).

It started with his original choice to fight fire with fire. He never was the same since.

At present, nothing is truly out of Kevin's grasp. He might not have been able to really save his father, but Kevin's perfectly equipped to take on the task ahead of him.

His nightmares.

Depends on the situation. Since Kevin is a dancer, he might seem pretty upbeat at parties. Somewhere out in the street, he might seem somewhat moody, a bit down, but nothing out of the regular.

Do more with himself and make something happen positively that he helped to accomplish.

He knows no one that depends on him, nor would he think it a good idea for anyone to rely on him right now.

Finally apologize to his mother for all that he had done, and live out his life in seclusion with maybe some partying during his last few days.

The only one around is his mother, who would say she worries about Kevin greatly---she sees all the good in him, but knows at least that he doesn't see the same in himself and that it kills him.

Probably his height. He's 6'7".

That’s actually more of a hunch on my part. I’m waiting for the opportunity to spring. •What is this character’s greatest flaw?Her self-worth, or lack thereof. She values others far above herself. This tends to make her somewhat predictable in some of her choices. This is also the reason no one has ever heard her play an instrument to date; she doesn’t want to let anyone see that level of depth in herself. She doesn’t want to acknowledge it either, because it can be misconstrued (or aptly regarded, depending on your point of view) as a weakness. •What do you know about this character that s/he would never admit?She fears for the future, for her son’s sake, she wants to shield him from the bad things in the world and knows she can’t because he won’t grow unless he experiences them. •What is this character’s greatest asset?Her internal strength, her resolve, her ruthlessness, her loyalty and the love she gives freely to those who need it. Nonetheless, she would trust him with her life and, more importantly, her son’s life. Oliver is bright for his age. He’s a quick learner and knows when to pay attention. I would never presume to speak on behalf of a friend for Delilah’s benefit…let me see what quotes I can dig up. --Stu Pott, “The Bitter End”, 2009-------- •What is this character’s most noticeable physical attribute?Delilah is rather normal looking compared to most of the people in this RP, so other than her scars, the only thing that really stands out about her is the way she walks. Her legs lead her and her body is somewhat leaned back. Her torso is entirely straight and doesn’t move when she walks. There’s only a slight swing in her hips and arms, which are held somewhat rigidly just off her frame, although her shoulders do tend to bob from side to side. She walks across the ground rather than on it in a heel-toe rocking motion that enables her to walk quietly on nearly any terrain with good mobility. Alone or in groups of less than five, this gives her the illusion that she is prowling. In groups of five or more, she tends to blend in with whomever is around her. Otherwise, I would say her tattoos, but they’re usually covered by her clothes. •What is this character hiding from him/herself?Delilah tries not to hide anything from herself or anyone for that matter. It comes from having an open and honest heart. BUUUUT I would say that perhaps she has yet to fully realize that she has leanings towards less-than-noble intentions and that her choices in loyalty may force her to do things she would rather not. •Write one additional thing about your character.Delilah does not know how to dance and gets massively embarrassed when forced. The majority of her family is dead, thanks to Fate.
•What is this character’s greatest flaw?
It's difficult for her to relate to people. Because of the experiments, she's undergone some drastic life and personality changes in addition to the physical changes that left her feeling out of place with the rest of the world. It's her greatest shortcoming.
•What do you know about this character that s/he would never admit?
She's actually terrified of being alone.
•What is this character’s greatest asset?
She is unwaveringly loyal to a cause or person(s) she believes in. In a world where there isn't much left to believe in, she throws herself fully into whatever she feels is best. It's the one trait she's retained from her former life, the idea of doing good no matter the cost.
•If this character could choose a different identity, who would s/he be?
If she can't choose the life she had before the experiments, she would either choose to be her sister, Gabriella, or the former School Captain Mitsuki Park. Gabriella was carefree and fun loving, who didn't take life too seriously, and Olesya envied that in her sister, especially now. Olesya looked up to School Captain Mitsuki Park from the first day they met in the cafeteria. Mitsuki was strong and confident and everything that Olesya aimed to be...and ultimately failed to achieve.

He is in love with his sister. He’s not quite oblivious to the truth of the matter, but he lives in a state of denial that successfully keeps it a secret even to himself.

He cannot forgive himself for things in the past, even for things that weren’t his fault. His blaming of himself drags him down far too deep.

Vincent discovered by accident that he and his lover were both assassins for the same organization. The organization’s strict codes of secrecy decreed that anyone whose anonymity was compromised needed to be taken out. Vincent panicked and shot Jacob in the head, killing him instantly. Alternatively, if he hadn’t lost his nerve, the two could have abandoned the organization together and made a run for it. Vincent realized this too late.

It was nearly 3 A.M. when Vincent’s eyes opened to absolute darkness. He gazed blankly into the void for a few moments, letting his eyes adjust, shivering slightly from a cold draft… and then he realized that he was not alone. He felt an arm around his waist from behind. The skin was frigid… Slowly, he rolled over onto his back and smiled tiredly, turning his head to the left to peer curiously at the sleeping body beside him. The black-haired man was… Dead.But his eyes were wide open, eerily white and staring at Vincent. His mouth hung open slightly. There was blood covering half his face, flowing from a bullet wound in his forehead, his messy black hair wet and sticky and dripping. The cold arm around his waist twitched and pulled him in closer all of a sudden, the upper body rising up from bed to lean over Vincent, the pale and bloody face only inches from his own—twisted into a visage of mute horror and agony. Vincent tried to scream, but it was smothered by the dead man’s frozen lips— —A second later, though it felt more like an eternity, Vincent awoke, panting and writhing beneath the sheets like a tortured animal, his bare chest heaving and covered in cold sweat. His hands flew up to cover his face, to protect him from the nightmare, to hide him; but there was nowhere on Earth that he could hide from the relentless guilt. It haunted and tortured him, and would do so for eternity. Sometimes, he wished that he had kept the gun in his hand after the body had hit the floor. Sometimes he regretted not turning that pistol toward his own head to pay for what he had done… and to not… feel so utterly alone.
•List the choices (not circumstances) that led this character to his/her current predicament.
Vincent made the mistake of trusting a stranger on a train when was six; because of that, he and Vespyr were separated and Vincent was molested. When he was fourteen and living in an orphanage, Vincent committed suicide; when he woke up the next morning having somehow escaped the orphanage, he became determined to find his sister. He spent a lot of time on the streets just learning how to survive, and was eventually hired to kill people. Around this time he met Jacob, who he would later find out was also an assassin. Vincent let his panic get the better of him and pulled the trigger. It was not an accident, but it was a mistake. Completely alone again, Vincent resolved with new determination to find his sister, and he did.

Vincent had no control over the abuses of his childhood, his terrible life in the orphanage, or the hostility of living on the streets. He adapted from all of these things in some way or another, not always in a positive light.
•What wakes this character in the middle of the night?
Guilt.

Pensive, reserved, uptight.
•What does this character resolve to do differently every morning?
Be a more confident man.
•Who depends on this character? Why?
Vespyr depends on him a little bit in the same way he depends on her, simply as her twin, but to a lesser degree than he depends on her.
•If this character knew s/he had exactly one month to live, what would s/he do?
Atonement above all. Try to recompense for the mistakes he’s made, somehow. Apologize a lot. Tell someone about Jacob and perhaps finally forgive himself. Tell Vespyr how much he loves her. Visit “Unfettered” again. Smoke his favorite brand of cigarettes and hopefully realize that everything will be OK.

Mild-mannered, intuitive, loyal.

Unusual white hair and violet eyes.
