The steady drizzle of the water running along the back of Jaus' neck was enough to settle him into a comfortable tension, he'd been gone from the reminders of this place for too long. The vivid memories of what'd only occurred weeks ago still stained in his head. Somewhere along the lines Jaus felt as though fate had some sick game in mind with his life.
"Hmph.."
Jaus would sigh quickly, the fume of his breath recognized on the bathroom window with a lingering sheet of perspiration treading along the reflection. With a smooth motion he'd wipe his lower lip drenched in the mixture of sweat and water. Jaus hadn't come here to reflect, but seems as though it was a strange imagery obsession, the mirror bringing it back to him if only but for an instant.
*sigh*
Not much the talker Jaus would leave the restroom, his back arching back erect to stand tall and for him that was something. At six foot two he was a head taller than the average student his age. Then again Jaus remembered the like of those Katashi's, not to mention the Dragons, or even the Captain they'd faced the other day. Seems 259 filled their meals with growth hormones. To a degree Jaus was now thankful that he'd brought his lunches from home.
*Creak*
Past the doors, past the halls. His feet carried him back to the classroom he'd just evenly cut through catching only the beginning and end to the lecture, enough for him to get the logistics of it.
"Mr. Valentine?"
His head bobbed up from its resilient phase of sleep, eyes revealing nothing but a cold stare back, his icy blue eyes fogged with a dull replying "Yes?".
"If you're not convened to the restroom at the end of class I'll be having a word with you."
The dull roar of snickers around the classroom at Val's little "problem" or rather the teacher's successful workings at taking advantage of Jaus' use of class time. "I'll make time."
The cold reply as the lecture went on, Valentine's cold stare at the back of someone's head not exactly considering who they were or what was going on there, but he still had a good five minutes to burn.
