David watched from the trees, staring at the rubble, the ruins of the once great Californian Correctional Facility. It seemed like nothing but a distant memory, the small forested area surrounding him nothing but a calm alcove of cricketsand fireflies. It was almost...peaceful. He jammed his hands in the pockets of his blue jeans, almost discomforted by the lack of softness. They weren't like his Aetheral Patterns, which gave him a degree of comfortablility. His deep green hoodie was shadowing his eyes from few as he walked over to the barren remains, kicking over a few rocks and taking deep breath. So much was different, back then. He knew exactly what to fight for, what to keep his eyes on. Now, the lines blurred, and he was unsure of everything
He turned, walking away from the building, heading about ten feet through a couple trees to the large lake that none seemed to bother with, off alongside the main road leading to the facility. A few lights still pumped power to the area, and stared out over the water, looking through the hourglass of his mind to se the faces of Emily, Olesya, Unfettered, Bastille, even Gabriel.
He was unsure of why he was thinking of these things now, as he stood silently by the still waters. The memories seemed to come to him, morning, noon, and now at night, the moon watching his thoughts. He stared at the earth that stood beneath his feet, his eyes boring holes into the dirt, hands placed silently in his coat. He guessed it all boiled down to care- months had gone into the thought behind everything, and yet months had passed since he had even given them so much as a hello, or a touching memory. Probably resentment. A distinct disgust for their lack of emotion at the schools current misplacement. Hell, half of them had moved on, without so much as a care in the world about the place they claimed to call home.
He brought his eyes up, taking a deep breath as he looked down the well trodden path to the lake behind him. Nobody was out, so far as he could see. He shook away the feeling of detachment that was threatening to creep up and overwhelm him. He wouldn't let the memories spiral. Not even a memory of her. He breathed quickly through his nose, continuing to look out toward the crystal waters.
Time for a midnight swim.

Walking....
Walking....
She thought she could never get used to this. She was in a baggy, brown sweater and a toque with a pair of plain jeans. Alexis had dressed her warmly just incase.... She even had a pair of seeing glasses that she had never worn before... though they did make her see better... she just had to get used to them.
Olivia had no where to go nor did she want to go anywhere. Alexis just sent her off on her own to get used to it. She was given a phone with one number in it for when she needed help or just wanted to go home. Thought it was a good idea for Olivia to go for a nice walk and think over things.. try and see if she can remember anything or even get used to the area.
She had taken longer than planned of course. Alexis was probably getting worried... though that didn't phase Olivia. She just kept walking and walking until it got dark.
Eventually she came across a lake. It was empty... there was some lighting... and then from far off she could see a figure of someone much taller than she.... a lot bigger. Just at the moment she was trying to pound out the demands from the one she used to follow. She was sure he would have wanted her to attack... but he never told her and never can anymore..so she wouldn't.... she would simply just stand still and stare at the boy before starting to walk closer... not to him... but she was going in his direction... she was just continuing her walk. As she would get closer she would study his features and the way he stood. She wouldn't remember his face in given time... though she still wanted to look.. that and she could recognize him later for how he walked or by the color of his hair and eyes.
She was close enough now that they would be able to see each other... the light gleaming in to her emerald eyes and shining across her smooth, full lips as she walked by... making it obvious she was staring at him, but didn't have any intention on saying hi. It was a habbit that would be hard to break... studying every move... every detail....

David, oblivious to the girl who approached, took off his coat and shirt, his necklace dangling almost helplessly from his neck. He took his pants off, his black briefs giving him little protection from the bitter cold. Without thinking or looking back, David dove in, having slipped his shoes and socks off before doing so. The water hit him smoothly, giving him a sharp ping, but at the same time it felt good having the cold, hard water ripple over his skin.
He broke the surface gasping, and through blurred-by-water eyes, he spotted the girl on the bank. He wiped his face, and shook his head, staring at her for a moment. She looked oddly familiar....he swam for his clothes, pushing himself up and onto the bank with easy, the water sluicing from his skin as he replaced his pants and shirt, uncaring that the water immediately began to seep through.
"Uh...h-hello." He looked around quickly, teeth chattering. "Your out a l-little late, aren't you?"
He wondered what a girl who looked like her would be doing around a place most labeled as inept, indecent or even evil. She probably didn't know anything about the place that the treeline bordered, but it wasn't likely that anyone would travel up this way for anything else. Thinking it through, he reprimanded that assumption, as he was there for something else. He put his shirt back on, leaving his jacket off as he didn't want to get it wet, eyes not leaving the girl who seemed to stir his memory.

Olivia kept walking...slowly passed the boy whom had yet to notice her... she did tend to be desturbingly quiet from years of practice... So she observed how he would undressed himself... a luxury she has yet to learn. He dove into the water and Olivia changed her direction now heading towards the body of water.
She would crouch down and slide her hand into the water... testing it out. Her hand receded back as quickly as it could when she felt the shock of the cold... of course memories flashing back to being cornered in her cell and getting her "bath"... which in reality was a few orderlies spraying her with ice cold water through a high pressured hose.
"Uh...h-hello. Your out a l-little late, aren't you?"
Her brows creased as she looked up at the boy whom was shivering. If she understood what she was feeling and was able to put a name to it... it was concern and curiousty. She thought she wasn't alone...that it wasn't different to have "ice baths" Though she really just didn't understand it.
For a moment of just staring at him she looked to the water the back up a littl confused. "It's bedtime?" just like any young child...they would link the word "late" to bedtime" ... though now she found herself in a predicament... she wasn't home... Alexis hadn't gotten her in her PJs after her bath.... She started to panic a little more... she didn't know how she would find her sister...
Tears now brimming he eyes... those green hues getting slightly brighter... something her and her sister had when they cried...it wan't something unusual like purple eyes or anything...it was just the way the eyes soaked up light when they were wet with saddness. She feared she would have disappointed Shu for not being home... she remembered Alexis' words... "Come home before it's late." it was late... and she didn't listen to her orders... she quickly brushed a hand to her face to remember she didn't have her mask on again... panic rising 'cause she wasn't allowed to take it off... quickly she reached for her neck nd the shock collar wasn't there anymore as well.
"H-help?" she would ask the stranger... She just assumed he would know what to do... it would seem anyone who was helping her... like Alexis..or Gabriel? Or Donovan? They all knew what they were doing. "Ple-please?" her soft voice rang in the silenceof the night.... that small fraction of what used to be her accent still lingered in her tone...but barely.

David watched the strenge transformation come over the girl, from curious to downright distraught. His eyes squinted in confusion before putting a hand up, as though to try and stop her. "Woah, woah. No tears. Nothing is wrong..." He smiled to try and reassure her. "Its just...late, thats all. Nothing to be afraid of..." Her pupils seemed dialated, and as he looked around behind him and over across the lake, he made sure none were watching them. She and he were totally alone. He shivered a little. That didn't usually bode well for him...he put his jacket on, feeling the air on his skin, and shrugging off his jackets possible ruination. He felt the need to leave. He cleared his throat before starting to walk, hearing her ask for help behind him. He stopped.
"I'm...not someone you would want to be...safe with."
He started to walk again. Trouble followed him like a dark cloud, and either she was a child of trouble, or she would become mixed up in his. He then heard her utter something that again caused him to stop, and close his eyes. There was a time he would have asked her to come straight home with him, or offered her a ride back to his place....but now. He opened his eyes again, turning halfway back to the girl before jerking his head in the direction he was walking. It was an obvious indicator for her to follow, and he would sigh, kicking himself for taking her in. He would offer her a ride to wherever she needed to go, or perhaps even a place to stay. He knew in the end, it probably wouldn't go well for him.
It rarely did.

"I'm...not someone you would want to be...safe with."
Safe?
It wasn't about safty... Everything but...
She needed to get home so she wouldn't disappoint anyone... But now he was walking away... she couldn't do anything about it.. it was too late. She finally let out one small plea before looking down. She could see her breath in the dark and would then reach for her phone that she had in her pocket. As soon as she did this she heard those foot steps come to a halt. Looking up she would see the jerk of the boy's head.
Inside her mind she put all the pieces together to try and figure out what it indicated. Then she remembered some people doing it to her...though it was followed by a "come on" or a "follow me". He said nothing. Olivia stood for a moment... not sure if she should follow him... after all he had said no not too long ago... he was sending her mixed emotions and it was confusing her weak mind as is. Perhaps he wanted to do something to her? So in that case she had to listen.
With her small legs she would pick up her pace all the while the wind whipped her ravenous hair back and forth. As she jogged to keep up there was not a sound..maybe a slight russle of grass below her feet... though if she were not wearing shoes and on a more quiet ground...she would be absolutly silent.
Once in arms reach she would stop and somewhat cower like a beaten puppy with it's tail tucked between it's hind legs. Normally she wouldn't let someone she didn't know have her way with her... but right now he was all she had... surely if he had returned her she would pay him no mind and wouldn't let him come near her without her pulling out his eyes...
"If you punish me.... will you then show me where I have to go?"
After all... in her mind she did something wrong...she wasn't sure what it was... but with Shu basically anything she did was wrong..so it was hard for her to tell the difference between what was good or bad.

The girls footsteps went unheard below the dull crunch of Davids own. As she stopped in front of him, his eyes went to her almost reluctantly, as though to ask what had caused her to feel this frightful, as she made it seem. His eyebrows raised into an even more confused look as she asked him to punish her. What the hell was she, a masochist? He knew nothing about the female, but it was almost saddening that the girl felt her actions and information needed punishing in order to do or recieve. He put a hand behind his head and scratched it.
"Uh, no...? Why would i punish you? You didn't do anything wrong..."
He was more than a little flabberghasted. He could tell by how she acted and talked that she was...slightly out of it. It reminded him of test subjects from the old correctional facility, drugged up so long, they didn't know what to do once they breathed the free air again. He realized that, if he planned on helping her, or at least getting her from point A to point B, he was going to have to show more kindness, understanding and even emotion to convey his meanings. He guessed that to her there could be no real harm, since he had never seen her around any of his schoolmates, nor did he notice her around town much. That fact alone would revent her from telling others heknew how to smile. Besides, it would be good to cut loose for a change.
He gave a smile, almost reserved, and uneasy but still kind.
"Relax, im not going to hurt you." He would place a gentle hand to her back. "C'mon, lets walk to my car." He would begin moving forward.
"Do you know the way home?"

"Uh, no...? Why would i punish you? You didn't do anything wrong..."
Oh...
She was sure she had did something.... maybe it was the fact she begged...or even talked in the first place. She looked up at him and stared at the smile he had given her. It was different.... But she couldn't explain how...
"Relax, im not going to hurt you." When his hand reached to her back she tensed... a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach had risen... She didn't like being touched... never had... even before she had been kidnapped she didn't like it... scared shitless of what someone would do to her... havnig been brought up by abusive parents could do that to someone of a weak heart.... that and after getting kidnapped by an abusive Agent would help amplify that, though all she knew was she didn't like to be touched... she didn't know how long.. and she didn't know why."C'mon, lets walk to my car."
She would pick up her pace to match his stride...and even go ahead a little bit more so he wouldn't be able to touch her again.
"Do you know the way home?"
Her emerald hues would stare across the area trying to remember which direction she had come from. It was hard to say... she was walking in circles for most of the time and for awhile... so it was all confusing and would take a few hours if she were to retrace her steps. She panicked slightly... her breathing got a little heavy as her lungs began to grow sharp pains. She would always have these pains...though her sister had given her something to use when ever it happened... She would reach into her pocket and pull out a puffer and inhale the medication...unaware of why no one else she had seen had one. "I-I thought you would know... Um... It's a big house. The girl who lives there...um..." she couldn't think of how to discribe her... she couldn't recognize someone by their face... "She uuh.... The guy that lives there... He um..... He looks like you." he didn't.... but she couldn't tell the difference... then that discription reminded her of her sister. "Oh! and the girl looks like me." she would touch her face again to make sure the mask was on...it wasn't and she got a little panicked..then remembered she wasn't supposed to wear it anymore. But... at least he would be able to know what Alexis looked like... though after explaining the man looked like him... he wouldn't believe the girl looked like her... "And there is a baby too..." and that was as far as she was going to get.... 'cause the baby looked like a bag of skin.
And of course saying their names didn't cross her mind.
She kept walking...not sure where she was heading... she was just sure that if she kept walking she would end up where she waas supposed to be.

"hm..."
David cocked an eyebrow. The girl didn't seem stupid, yet she seemed unable to complete even the most simple of tasks. He took a deep breath. What would be able to get through to a girl who seemed so uncertain about herself? He guessed that starting with the simplest of things was probably the best approach.
"Does anyone there have a name?"
He hoped that, perhaps, she didn't live alone. If it came to the worst of it, he could have Sight look up the name in his database- almost everyone in that city had bought drugs from him before, or drugs from one of his own buyers. Then again, maybe he would get lucky and the girl would state a name he knew. Either way, he would begin walking, his car parked down at the end of the driveway. Mercedes Benz, butterly doors, V12 engine. It was his baby. He loved that car. He would hit a button on his keys which would pop open his door, while he awaited her answer.

They kept walking and she was really scared she was going to get in trouble... 'cause she was expected to know the answers to all these questions.. hell she knew she should have known them... but she never could understand why stuff wouldn't stick in her mind...little did she know it was just an after effect of a Qi used on her for several years so she wouldn't be able to remember who she was before they had kidnapped her... so..so far it was still working... she knew her name and she now knew what she looked like... but she doesn't know the real Olivia Green.
"Does anyone there have a name?"
She got the same feeling she would when she knew she could make Shu happy. Yup... it was excitement. She knew the answer...
"Yeah! My sister is eh..uh Alexis. The boy is..um.. Gabriel... and the baby is Zeke."
She would then stop before the car with hesitation. She hated cars... they were small...and confind...... and this one was worse... 'cause it was a strangers'...
That and it looked different than the one she was used to... which was more than a two passanger car...she would always sit in the back 'cause there was more space....
"Where....do I enter?"
She didn't know which door to choose... and once he would tell her (assuming he would) she would get in the passanger side and avoid the seat belt at all costs.

He cocked an eyebrow.
"Uh...you take the handle and lift and..."
He shook his head with a smile.
"Here, i'll get it for you."
he walked around the front of the mercedes, pushing another button to start it up. He showed no physical reaction when she mentioned both Alexis and Gabriel, but inside he was fuming. Only Gabriel would make a girl as mentally unstable as her. He couldn't understand what Alexis saw in him, why she would want to be with a guy who tore apart the very fabric of his morals. The man- teacher now- was a nuisance to them all. David shut the door once Olivia was inside, walking around the front and hopping in beside her, pulling the door closed with little ado. He put the key in the ignition, shifting the car into reverse and backing out the driveway slowly. Now was a good time, he supposed, to dig up some information.
"How do you know Gabriel?"
He couldn't wait to hear the truth of Gabriel's corruption from the lips of an innocent, and probably very sweet girl. Though it was strange, he was angry. It had been a long time since he had been mad at Gabe, but he guessed that came with the treaty, which was shaky between them at best. He wanted there to be something wrong with Seran, so he could find a reason to break his face. It was a talent Gabriel never got rid of- irking David. Rubbing him the wrong way. Sexually. David continue to drive, shifting gears as he rounded the corner to the off-road, which led straight back to the highway. How had the girl even gotten there? Had she walked clear from the city? He would watch her, to see her face, her reactions to everything.

She would get in the car..and of course feel a little bit better 'cause it was a lot more roomier than she had expected it...though her expections were always marred.
"How do you know Gabriel?"
She would look over at him. She didn't know how to explain Gabriel... though she didn't understand relationships...not only that she wasn't even aware she was with him before she was kidnapped.... she didn't even know he was her first love.
"Um... He killed Shu..." she really couldn't explain it...though she did sound upset over the fact Shu had been killed..but if anyone knew the situation..it would be a good thing.... but... the only person she trusted and remembered was Shu...so.. it upset her he was gone. "Alexis and him took me away from Shu.... And Gabriel... Lives with Alexis and Zeke and me... That is how I know him."
She now just assumed he knew Gabriel and Alexis.... she assumed a lot of things...like before when she couldn't talk she assumed everyone knew sign language... Soon she will understand everyone were different with different knowledges.
"Did you live with him? He lets me watch cartoons with Zeke." she would say with only the faintest smile... she didn't know how to smile... it was just a minor curl of the tip of her mouth.

David looked over for half a second, listening while she spoke. Who was Shu? And Gabriel killed someone? Big surprise there. David continued driving as she said how Gabriel lived with Alexis and Zeke- whom David had yet to meet. Perhaps another mindless slave of Gabriel? Ah, the things David had yet to learn...He took the highway for the Seran mansion, knowing at that time of night it would be far easier then the backroads, and far quicker. She asked if he lived with him, and it confused him a moment. He came to a slight realization- this girl was terribly confused on how the world worked, how life was. He smiled.
"No, i don't live with him. Me and Gabriel are-" He stopped talking a moment, realizing something else. If he bitched out Gabriel he would upset her and Alexis terribly. He couldn't do it, not at that moment anyway. "-Friends. Good friends." He nearly winced, but managed to smile instead. She appeared to try and smile when she said she was allowed to watch cartoons sometimes...David laughed lightly. "Cartoons? Cartoons are awesome, i watch them too." He took an exit, then drove a mile or two before taking a left and pulling up a side road. There, on the left, loomed the Seran mansion, probably as big as his house. He shook his head. Good old Gabriel...This night would be interesting.
He pulled through the gates and up into the driveway, parking by the fountain before pulling the lever to get out of the vehicle. He would shut it and walk around, opening her door too and holding out his hand with a smile to help her from her seat. She would have to lead from here... David didn;t want to. Hell... anyone who was anyone knew-
-Even though he would probably have to play the part of the "best friend", David was not at all eager to see that familiar grin of Gabriel Seran.

Olivia looked over at him. She didn't understan the word friend... she was sure she had heard it before...... But she couldn't be too sure.... It was probably a good thing... a lot of things were "good" though she was still too scared to assume when something was good when it wasn't 'cause she didn't want to get in trouble.
The pulled into the parking lot and David then heald out his hand once the door was opened for her. She cringed, "Sorry..." she would say quickly scared he was going to do something to her... then when he didn't she just stared at the hand. Yeah.... she didn't want anything to do with it... so she got out without touching him and would start walking towards the house....She would enter through the door and look around.... she heard the small voice of Zeke so she knew he was still up... that was good..she could play with him more... 'cause in her mind there wasn't entirely an age difference...after all she was learning everything he was learning at the same time.
She didn't bother to call out or anything... she wasn't used to it..but she did look back to check and see if David was still following.

Alexis was trying to keep Zeke occupied. She was extremely nervous about Olivia... the girl had been gone all day and it was obvious she didn't know how to answer her cell phone...
"Gabe! I'm gonna go looking for her can you watch Zeke?" she would call to the other room... when she did she would rush to the closet to grab her coat as her thumb spun her engagement ring around her finger.... a new nervous tick she had gained.
As she ran to the foyer...she was startled when she had seen her sister.... and David (assuming he is still there.)
"Oh my God!" she would rush over to Olivia..but of course fall short when she remembered the last time she made sudden movements around her..or even tried to hug her... she looked like a racoon with those black eyes...
"Are you alright, sweetheart? Gabriel!? Olivia is home!" she would then look at David.....now getting confused after having it process. "Um..... hi?" she didn't call back to Gabriel to let him know David was there also...'cause...right now she was just so confused she was just focusing on the fact David brought home her sister...what were the chances?
