For the battles previousely faught in this abandoned boiler room, it was still pretty trashed. Alot of the pipes where just leaning against the walls beant or broken, melted, or frozen. The place was a mess, but there was enough room for a bit of a spar. Spike would have talked to Jaus at lunch and set up a training match, for practice almost directly after school. He rolled his shoulders with the weight of his fathers coat. A physical manifestation of the burdens of being the Vanguard to his entire family.
"Man, things mite just be getting crazy after this."
Spike needed the practice, and the training. His fights so far had been mostly instinct from the training he got under his father and the rest of the clan. Not only that but he was forced to go to his own breaking point far too many times already. He needed to increase his abilities, and he needed to do so quickly.

Jaus was a bit on edge, he'd been training for awhile but not against any truly skilled opponents, at least not in his opinion being as jaded as it was at times but the opportunity to go up against Spike was certainly an uplifting note. While they were on the same side and had gone into battle together they'd yet to cross paths which in hindsight would probably perfect their teamwork, knowing each other's moves and all.
A small smirk as he carried a light load in his backpack slung over his should as he retreated from the art class he'd narrowly managed to avoid. walking in on Spike's assortment of the fighting ground, honestly he was hoping for the roof because this could potentially have been treacherous. He had a higher chance of catching AIDs down here then off of some strange woman upstairs.
"Tell me about it."
Jaus would settle down tossing his backpack into a corner of the room with reckless disregard to its' contents. With a grim smile on his face he settled into the weighted clothes he wore fairly sure he'd have to remove them to actually stand a chance against Sudeki. Otherwise, he'd be slow as fuck.

Spike would brush off his pants as he reached for his back grabbing the power pole, and his waist grabbing the bokken handle.
"I think for this spar we should break it down into parts. we will start with weapon training."
He would toss the power pole over to Jaus. Pulling the bokken handle from his waist. He wouldn't ignite it just yet. He would explain the next few steps to the spar.
"Then we will break down into hand to hand warm ups. After that, we'll get to a seriouse spar, and call it quits after that, we dont want to get injurred with our enemies on the rise."

Jaus would nod to reciprocate the notion snagging the power pole as it were and feeling what kind of power it had, significantly so it bolstered his own meager strength by a notch, not what it was like without his weights but enough to get by at a low average. Enough for a duel of weapons.
"Alright, then I suppose."
Jaus would let his last words linger on the edge of his breath feeling as the power pole's length extended to that of his body height giving him a large girth to expend his energy. However he'd never seen the bokken in play, at least not with the intent of doing damge. A small curling grin appearing on his face.
"En guard!"
A command ushered letting the length of the pole towards the bottom rocket upwards aimed at Spike's lower torso the top craning back past Jaus' left shoulder.

Once it seemed like Jaus was ready Spike took stance for sword fighting holding only a handle to a wooden sword his feet would spread apart, as he turned the bokken around so the invisible blade would be held like a dagger, using a more acrobatic style than symbol fencing, or even katana sword play. As the move was made Spike ignited the blade with his Qi, the black fire moving quickly to intercept the first strike, the blade in his right arm as he would hit the power pole he would attempt to use the force of the strike which likely wasn't much due to its speed and obvious positioning for a straight hit and bounce it away.
Spike would make a half moon arc upwards with his hand bringing it around to hopefully hot Jaus on the right shoulder. This spar was simply about getting hits. If it hit or missed Spike would back peddle quickly to get out of the way of any retaliation, and he would work from there on his next move.
Strength: 43 - 6 = 37 Dexterity: 27 - 1 = 26 Constitution: 28 Intelligence: 30 Wisdom: 31 Charisma: 41 - 10 = 31

Fercly Jaus was knocked aback by the blow, Spike's strike hitting the top end of the pole with enough force that the unsuspecting Jaus Valentine dropped the weight of the pole into his shoulder leveling him to the floor simply leaving a bruise there. A short hiss from his breath as he controlled the edge of pain that found its way through quickly realizing that simple lance like tactics with the pole wouldn't be enough to perform critical strikes against Spike. Even if those strikes were all in the interest of training.
Using the pole as a crutch and reducing it slightly Jaus would find it helpful getting him to his feet and striking a threatening pose at first. His left hand jutting out threateningly as if daring Spike to strike there while his left hand poised behind his hip holding the pole like a duel sided sword.
"Alright."
A smirk as Jaus' right foot drew forward from its back position carrying with it the duel edged weapon brandished with a twirl to it creating a cyclone-like effect apparently making his movements of a strike unpredictable. Taking a strong forward step with that Right foot he'd encroach upon Spike's defensive zone now grabbing the blade with two hands at the center increasing the speed of the twirl until there was a downward slash hard at Spike's shoulder. The back of the blade tucked into Jaus' armpit as he rolled through the strike hit or miss reverting his forward momentum into a back ended strike.
The motion following through would leave Jaus with his back to Spike but uppercutting with the other und of the blade. His left foot finally pulling through the twist and aiming to kick at Spike's gut and knock his balance off. In all fights weapon or not the use of external forces were still applied.

Spike watched and waited with the blade behind him, the black fire of his Qi sparking and nipping at the air. Jaus was pretty good with the power pole already, using its size control with ease. Then he came in using it like a boe staff. spinning, Spike brought the blade around with his arm to cross his body from top to bottom.
The strike came in quickly and hard, Spike slashed at the strike to his shoulder to push it away, and the reverse side streamed in, Spike stepped back to avoid it completely and nearly wasn't able to bend backwards and push the pole away from him under the strike before a kick came in hitting him in the stomach, knocking him back a few steps. Spike was on the defensive for this set.

And thats how Jaus intended to keep it, whereas it was Jaus' best attribute defensive counters he figured that in a match-up of weapons Spike would significantly out class him as far as an offensive bout went. So going on the offensive certainly would provide Jaus with a slight advantage.
Spiraling around to regain the same stature as before, eye to eye, Jaus would creep forward lowering his center of gravity to allow for himself to spread the length of the pole to its full potential being able to manipulate both ends when necessary.
Quickly Jaus would jab forward thrusting the right end of the pole like a speer at Spike's knee cap retracting just as quickly not to get wrapped up. On the retreat Jaus would keep the pole low striking up a metal pipe on the return glance knicking it into the air. WIth another thrust he'd aim this time for the aerial pipe launching it as it were like a projectile towards Spike's torso.

Spike picked his balance quickly placing his feet firm, pulling his arms to his side's firmly. The bokken was awekward to say the least, a major difference was the only weight was in the handle, so there was no telling where the blade was or even ended. as the thrust came in, Spike lifted his leg while pushing the pole away with the sword, though it was retracted quickly, Spike's foot slammed the ground again as he launched at Jaus, spinning in the air and letting the bokken drag like a fan.
He would be close enough for the spinning to hit Jaus if it didn't he would pull it around for a power slice when he reached the ground. Spike's sense of being in the air was limited, but his sense of his opponent wasn't, Spike could follow him if he went to the sides.

Jaus wasn't the sort of foe to evade, nor was he the type to side step or counter, with him it was all or nothing head first into the battle to absorb the hit or not. A firm stance projecting his torso outward the first strike would come once again knocking him back before the follow up would aim again coming hard and fast he'd never be able to evade it so his mind had to work fast projecting the possibilities quickly. Still on the reverse from the first blow Jaus would let himself fall back to the ground being out of range of the slice aside from of course his lower body and pending Spike's movement he'd be there in seconds.
Think....Think...Think.
"Power Pole Extend!" Jaus would exclaim as he angle the pole up at a 30* angle elevating it at Spike's chest range letting the pole shoot out into the boy's chest as a final regards. Though if he'd dodge Jaus would have to fall back upon another plan and with space running out there were limited opportunities.
