Mental Information
Personality: Ben doesn't talk. Not to say he can't, he chooses not to. For whatever reason, Ben does not verbally communicate with anyone. He has, however, developed a certain ability that lets him bypass that, which we will talk about later. His personality is generally good natured, but unafraid of violence or destruction. He's definitely the protective type, and will pull anyone under his wing who might need his aid. He's smart, funny, and energetic, but only to those whom he opens up to or gets to know really well. Otherwise, he keeps to himself, atypical prolific student. "Emo" could be a way to address his thought patterns, but isn't totally accurate since he's not constantly down on himself or suffering from a vast array of emotions.
Ben hates those who look down on others simply because they are stronger. He believes that with strength, you should help and care for those weaker, not snuff them out simply because you can. He's aggressive when need be, and feels no ill will to anyone because of their past, for its the future that matters to him.

History: Mostly Unknown. He was found in a building fire that tore his skin so badly they had to apply experimental bandages, which would revert his face and skin back to the previous setting, but couldn't be physically torn or removed. Virtually, a second skin. He gains his sustenance through injections into his leg, twice daily. Not painful, not anymore anyway. He hasn't spoken a word in three weeks, and doesn't seem to have the urge to. He wasn't claimed at the hospital and, after a month, just left on his own, getting his emancipation from any parental guidance to which the state gave him full rights since no parental figure showed up.
He has lived in an apartment in downtown Long Beach ever since.
