You'll know when Jayr didn't hesitate, not in the slightest as her scalding forearms were dropped to unveil a charging warrior's strike fall short at her feet. Arms barred for more combat as she had much more to unveil in herself despite the weakened state from her own Qi. She wanted to be angry, if just for this moment when no one was to watch but that wasn't like her to do so.
Her guard would drop slowly edging up on him to put a hand on his head patting it slightly, not intended to be derogatory but rather respectable, that he fought on when perhaps he knew he shouldn't stubborn but not stupid.
"... Are you... satisfied... Jayr? Have you... taken your revenge...?"
"I sought what was just.... and found something, even if thats not what I was looking for."
Jayr would grant a smile hesitating now to make a finishing blow but released her hand from his head and would turn around slowly with a smile. Her pace slowed to an amble walk, very tired but all the same like her with a small skip to it before finding a position to stop.
"You're welcome to help me in the search if you feel inclined, vengeance was never really my style."
A quaint little giggle passing through her lips as she was glad this was over with. Narrow strides carrying her away to leave Kazuya to his pride, no finishing blow, no vengeful brutality. Merely the act of forgiveness, and the opportunity for a future.

The temporary drain of energy subsiding, all Kazuya was now was terribly exhausted, as he heard the sound of slow footsteps come closer and closer to him, before they came to a stop beside him, his eyes still covered by his hair, as he breathe in and out slowly and heavily, feeling his head being touched, as she patted his head slightly, not mockingly, but more like in respect. "What... am I? A puppy?" He said teasingly, he had given it his all, he had no regrets. Win or lose, he gained some knowledge from this fight, the outcome didn't matter to him. "You sound... exhausted..." Kazuya chuckled quietly, as he felt her hand move off his head, unable to see the smile on her face as she turned around and began to walk off before coming to a stop.
"... Heh. Just call... on me. You'll know... where to find me." He said quietly, as he struggled to sit up, using his sheath as a cane of sorts to help him, as he climbed to his feet tentatively, before hobbling over to his blade, and picking it up, placing it back in its sheath, and heading off in the opposite direction. Really, the only thing that was bruised was his body, his pride was not so easily bruised by a loss, especially to a girl. Hobbling down the hallway, using his sheathed blade as a cane, he occasionally collided with the lockers, he was drifting back and forth between consciousness, finally succumbing to the darkness just as he reached the infirmary. This was the beginning of what was hopefully forgiveness for an action he had never intended to even commit.
