If there was one thing to turn the days around Jayr made her way quickly through the hallways of Public High School #259 with an apt attitude for creation. Having left her English class she wanted to write something, like a letter of recommendation or creative composure of a student hierarchy replacement to the Senate. Okay maybe a bit too far but Jayr was as bubbly as ever with a resonating smile on her face.
Dressed to kill in high heels, black jeans, and a red low cut shirt, Jayr pursued on her way towards the computer labs without much interruption. She had some sort of overpowering charisma about her that led her to stride through crowds as though they were parting waves, and the smile to match seemed to end a lot more conflicts then had been started with such charismatic people. If Gabriel could see her now he'd either be envious or taunting her.
Pulling the corner around the computer lab Jayr would linger in the doorway looking for a seat, sure it wasn't crowded but she liked to have her options anyway.

"Zzzz..." A lone figure could be seen seated in the very back row of tables in the computer lab, rocking back and forth. Kazuya was leaning back in his chair, his arms folded lightly across his chest as he dozed lightly, he was snoring away softly, his stomach rising and up and down with each breath he took, his feet resting on top of the table. Since his only class wasn't until after lunch, Kazuya decided to kill some time in the computer lab, but quickly grew bored, and decided to take a nap instead, given that the lab wasn't that crowded. He shifted slightly in his sleep, his mouth opening a bit, as he continued to snore away, his chair teetering back and forth as he leaned back even further.
His head jerking a bit to the side, as Kazuya jerked slightly, waking up, a half-asleep expression on his face, his chair teetering precariously on the back legs. Kazuya yawned widely, groggy and looking a little disheveled, as he rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms over his head before his chair toppled backwards, his eyes flaring in surprise, he had leaned a little too far back. *THUMP!* Kazuya landed with a loud thump on his back, causing the nearby computers to shake a little and a little cloud of dust forming from the impact, as he climbed off his chair and sat on the ground, rubbing his tailbone. "... Ow..."

The Cold Shoulder. Peeking her way around the corner Jayr managed to give the place a quick scan. Normally she wouldn't have stayed long, she really had nothing long term to accomplish here, or so she would tell herself, the real excuse was just a means to get away now as she saw an infamous face leaning back in his chair. The thought running wild through her head to either drop a brick on him while he slept or simply bolt.
Stubborn girl chose neither seeking rather to choose a computer top at the other end of the room and hunker down behind it hoping that she really didn't have to interact at all. If however she did, there was a nice window she could jump through if need be for escape, or possibly throw him through it. Yeahhhh.
"... Ow..."
The loud thump triggering that either someone had hit him or he'd fallen. Jayr laughed before shouting loudly.
"Deserved it."
A quick gasp before covering her mouth and ducking lower into her spot silently hitting herself continuing the phrase, "stupid, stupid, stupid" in her head.

"..." The sound of laughter reached Kazuya's ears as he turned his head in the direction it came from while continuing to rub his aching tailbone, as his expression sunk, seeing a familiar face, and the last person he wanted to see. "..." Not that he cared that she thought he deserved it, but her reaction soon after was rather humorous, as if ducking lower in her seat was going to make her inconspicuous to him, seeing as she had already announced her presence to him already. Climbing to his feet, Kazuya dusted himself off, and picked up his blade leaning against the table. Without a single glance, he walked past Jayr like she wasn't even there, his eyes flaring and appearing dragon-like for a mere moment, before returning back to normal, as he walked out of the computer lab.
Taking a couple steps away from the lab, he stopped and cradled his head in the palm of his hand. He didn't know why, but for some reason, a sharp pain just shot through him, like the dragon spirit inside him was becoming restless once more. Or maybe it was just because he was frequently running into Jayr in the past couple weeks, their encounters coming off no better than in the past. Sighing quietly, he scratched the back of his head. Although he still didn't like her, his opinion of her had mellowed out a bit, though it was pretty obvious she still hated him as always. "... Heh." He never expected to see her here, but then again, he never expected to be back here, walking through the halls of 259 once more. But this is where he truly belonged, this was his home, the rooftop his own territory.

From the outside looking in. Jayr recovered quickly though would otherwise look the pale student, eyes glued perversely at the blank screen as though she was doing something, her hand scrawled over the mouse and hands patting away at the keyboard. A cold response from the computer as it beeped at her for performing a wrong function. She'd make a face of 'Oh shoot I'm caught' as he walked by barely giving her acknowledgment. Then he was out the door.
The beaded sweat at her brow as she went red, her hand cascading to her face to swipe it away and replaced with a smug moment where she felt rectified and in the winners chair. Hands still mindlessly typing before she caught herself in the embarrassing moment, a quick look around to see if anyone had caught her.
Nope in the clear.
He didn't even look? Jayr thought for a moment, what a jerk. Eyes narrowed on the keyboard as they pressed harder relaying the question in her head matched with many more painfully so intrinsically previewing how her interaction would go before doing it. Hands buckled down on the keyboard eventually snapping it in half. A shocked expression on her face as she chose to stand.
"Oops."
A quick motion and she was outside, in the hallways she caught a glimpse of herself in a student's mirror. The worrisome complaint that she was being a hypocrite. Choosing to become a pillar and break the rules in the same instance, a slight shrug. She knew it was wrong, but so was everything in just reasonably. To do what was right required hardships. She'd pay them back later for it.
Anyways, back in the hall she caught Kazuya in a slight aneurysm of sorts. The shocked expression on her face as though she had assumed he was mentally unstable all along but all the same still concerned.
"Hey.."
Interrupting his little moment.
"Whats wrong?"
However he interpreted her question could alter things specifically.

Not even a shred of emotion crossed Kazuya's face even as he heard the sound of the computer Jayr was working so intensely at beep, indicating she had inputted an invalid function, not even a flicker of acknowledgment in his facial features as he passed her, and with that, he was gone. Coming to a stop in the hallway, his face covered by his hand, he didn't know whether to be shocked or intrigued that she was here, in the most violent school in the state. "Hey..." Opening his eyes, he didn't even need to look back, he could tell by the voice alone it was Jayr standing behind him. "What's wrong?" His gaze shifted as he looked at her from the corner of his eye, before shifting his gaze back once more. "... Just a bit of a headache, that's all."
Kazuya was surprised though. And here he was under the impression that Jayr wouldn't even have given him the time of day, much less ask if anything was wrong. "... What're you doing out here? I thought you were working intensely on something back in the computer lab. You were pounding away at the keyboard like you were inspired." It didn't make sense though. Why would she be concerned if anything was wrong? He was sure she hated him, and while he hated her too, his opinion of her had mellowed out slightly. Surely the Senior Pillar had more important things to worry about then to come out here only to ask if anything was wrong.

I'll be your headache "... Just a bit of a headache, that's all."
Not that it wasn't undeserved. She didn't sympathize, okay that was a lie maybe she did. Jayr was all too forgiving at times and couldn't help but feel at the least a tad bit sorry, but still she was angry. Hands balled up at her side at the fact that he was such a passive wall, unwilling to get angry or fervid over anything, that he didn't bear sorrow or shame. It was annoying he was nothing that related to human and that was what set her off most.
"... What're you doing out here? I thought you were working intensely on something back in the computer lab. You were pounding away at the keyboard like you were inspired."
Jayr digressed suddenly, her intense gaze faltering back towards her shoes thoughtfully considering what she'd actually been doing in there. There was a project that needed to be done, enrolling for a home economics course but..
"Hey don't change the subject."
Jayr would snap back a bit mixed between her own former confusion and that balled up angst ball that she suppressed down beneath the outward shell.
"I want revenge for what you did, till I get that we'll always be on eggshells."
Her balled up hands would come up showing him what she meant, the hallways instantly vanishing of any persons that would get in the way of this.

"..." Lowering his hand down, no longer covering his face, Kazuya turned to face her, as he raised an eyebrow in mild interest at her reaction, the intense gaze that had been directed at him now fixed down onto her shoes, but as quickly as she had looked away, she bounced back, snapping at him like always, though he gleaned a bit of confusion mixed into her tone of voice. "..." Peering down at her balled up fists, then back up at her face, it was like one of those scenes in a western movie, where a stranger walks into the saloon and the music stops and everyone just stares at him. That was how deathly quiet the hallway was, as every student within a mile radius cleared out the moment Jayr raised her fists, heading for the hills and not even bothering to look back.
"...Then I won't deny you your chance to get revenge then." Lifting his right hand up, Kazuya tightened the bandages wrapped around both his hands and wrists, before easing himself into a simple stance. Even though he could never make up for what had happened in the past, even if he had never planned to do anything in the first place, if this could give her some peace of mind, then he didn't mind fighting her. But he wasn't going to take it easy on her, he felt it would dishonor her pride and abilities as one of the strongest fighters. He was definitely sure Donovan Green would hate him for such an attitude. But he wasn't here, and that never stopped him before. "Prepare yourself Jayr!" With that said, Kazuya took off, aiming straight for her, his blade strapped to the left side of his waist, in case he needed to use it.

Ready or Not Jayr truly wondered if it was actually a matter of pride. No she didn't think so, it was more in her mind as what was just. She couldn't ever let herself be just herself around a person like that if she didn't at the very least settle the score. Perhaps maybe then she could forgive and forget, proceed to tromp on with life without worries. But for now the concern was at present.
She hadn't fought him since back at 774, she wanted to have fought both him and Donnie verse her but it turned out a bit off chance and indifferent. Now things were different, a one on one scenario and Jayr had grown miraculously into the prime fighter, though this was but the tip of the iceberg and even she could feel that her strength was but blossoming.
"Prepare yourself Jayr!"
His words coming a bit too late as Jayr burst off with speed as well, his following a short step after the bulk each at a charge before Jayr anticipated his movements, a low leaning dip to her frame lowering her right shoulder into his chin coming head on, a dire elbow strapped roughly into the boy's sternum before uppercutting her right palm into the bridge of his nose hopefully incapacitating him for a moment as her body peeled into a step back her left leg kicking sideways to form a barrier to which if he stepped forward would find himself being clobbered in the mouth.

"... Heh." Kazuya had to hand it to Jayr, she had come a long way since 774, she had grown stronger and faster. He could barely keep track of her speed, as the two of them closed the distance between the two of them in mere moments. Slamming his hand down on the ground, he created a dome of flame that encircled only him, her shoulder would've ended having to go through the flame before reaching his chin, as he quickly stepped through the flames, being immune to his own flames and to the side, her shoulder ramming into his arm, though her other strikes would not be so easily maneuvered around. Barely managing to catch her elbow in the palm of his hand, he felt not just his arm, but he himself being pushed back by the force, his shoes leaving scuff marks against the floor, as he tilted his head, her hand still hitting him, but instead of his nose, her hand crashed into his cheek. It still hurt, but at least he wouldn't have to contend with a broken nose.
He then saw her move back, as he created the flame dome once more purely out of instinct and anticipation of what could possibly happen. Instead, however, her left leg kicked out sideways to form a barrier of sorts, preventing him from moving forward and striking, lest he wish to have a foot in his mouth, literally. Instead, he stepped back out of the dome like before, driving himself backwards, before allowing himself a running start once enough distance was covered, though he wasn't aiming for her, no, he had a different tactic in mind. Once he had built enough speed up, he leaped up at the lockers that were up against the wall, as he quickly scaled up it, now standing on top of them. He then began to run down the row of lockers, the sound of footsteps against metal clanging and reverberating throughout the hallway. He may not be as fast as her, but sometimes speed wasn't everything.

Feel the Flames Perhaps raw strength wasn't everything, but that aspect certainly helped out. She had few experiences fighting raw fighters other than the few instances facing up against Gabriel, Vetis, and Donnie. She held them in high regard and fighters and still she was able to come out on top in one way or another against them. A cool smirk bouncing back from the flames feeling a cool sensation warp in her stomach as the patch of her shoulder seared and smoldered from the contact.
Mental note note to burn away all her cloths and as soon as this was over she'd be requesting a shopping spree happily paid for from him. That was part two of this whole forgiveness sequence. She'd smirk despite the slight pain her opponent opting to fall back rather than pursue settling to take his position on the high ground, smart but not to capitalize on such a position would be costly.
Jayr would be quick to anticipate that much further her body triggering to run up the opposite wall and use the speed and strength to rebound off of that wall and launch herself atop the lockers he resided on. Now once again face to face the fields were leveled. Preparations to strike now in motion as Jayr kicked with her left foot to just above his hip to strike the lower ribs, the resounding force optimally enough that it may knock him from the high position to the floor.

Touche Ms. Byrne. As Kazuya continued to dash down the row of lockers, he saw Jayr run up the opposite wall, using the speed to rebound off it and launch herself up onto the row he was currently on. Once again staring her down, Kazuya did not falter in his speed, instead he cranked it up even more, even as he saw her left foot kick out, aiming to strike him in the ribs. However, given that she had just landed on top of the lockers, meant he had more time to anticipate her moves. Planting his left foot on the wall, he would literally defy gravity, as he ran along the wall beside her, bypassing her kick completely, before landing behind her, as he continued down the row of lockers, before launching himself across the gap, one foot landing on the opposite row of lockers, as he quickly unsheathed his blade and jammed it straight down into the locker, easily piercing the thin sheet metal.
With the added aid of his blade, he easily managed to gain stable footing and pull himself up onto the row of lockers, as he pulled his blade free of the locker and continued running down the row of lockers, now on the opposite side that Jayr was on. He pitied the poor soul that had the locker he had poked a hole through. His blade now held in his right hand, if she wanted to fight him, she'd have to catch him first. And even though he had a bit of a lead, he knew there was the possibility she would and could catch up to him, advantage or not. Still, the row of lockers ran for what seemed like miles, even though the direction he was heading down through the hallway, led to the front entrance to the school. He had to hand it to her though, her strikes had hurt, even though he had evaded and blocked them somewhat. Still, he had managed to injure her back, even if it was only a first degree burn.

Prospect of a chase. Kazuya would flee, it wasn't expected but it struck a chord as most things with him did. Jayr's eyes would narrow lingering at the side as he hopped away to the other end of the lockers, she didn't want to give chase rather she wanted to simply beat him down, this wasn't the open and most students had disappeared into their classrooms he had much more to lose in running that staying and fighting.
"Coward."
Jayr would call out for a moment drawing her own blade as she took off along the side she was on matching his pace with little trouble and soon having the ability to overtake his momentum. She wanted to do this with as little collateral as possible, and honestly she didn't want to defame him in front of anybody just get her own private vengeance and be done with this hatred, it was unbefitting of her.
One foot planting against the wall in a rushing charge would launch her across the void and in her left hand backhand her blade across Kazuya's torso. If the blade was after all stopped he'd have to also consider her momentum as her body with the shoulder reared down would plow him into the wall.

"... Heh." Coward she may think of him as, but Kazuya would not slow his pace down, he would continue down the row of lockers, his eyes shifting to look behind him for a brief moment, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth as he saw her run after him, catching up to him quite easily, her own bokken in her hand. If she continued at her current speed, she'd bypass him in no time. Coming to a immediate halt as he saw her run ahead past him, she then planted her foot against the wall and launched herself over the gap, trying to backhand her bokken into his torso... if he had actually been at that spot, that is. Quickly leaping down from the lockers, he would hold his blade in his right hand, if this was going to turn into a sword duel, he wanted to have as much solid footing as he possibly could.
It's hard to block and counter with a blade when your footing is reduced to a small area and the risk of falling if even one wrong step was taken. Placing his hand on the ground, he created a flame dome once more, his eyes glued to Jayr's form above and ahead of him, Kazuya had another purpose in mind, besides protecting himself should Jayr try to attack him with an aerial strike. Using the heat emanating from the flames, he heated up the metal blade, adding another element to his blade. Not only would she have to contend with potentially being cut from his blade, dulled as it was, but there was also the factor of sustaining a burn from it. Holding his blade with both hands, Kazuya was prepared to block or counter, and since Jayr was ahead of him, he would be able to see the exact moment if she choose to strike.

Adapting to the scenario Jayr was quick to move as Kazuya had, her momentum coming full force into the wall as it had been with the strike though she would move swift enough to alter her feet to run against that wall as well flipping her so to speak upside down and over Kazuya's current position bringing down the bokken into his now right shoulder blade. Based on the simple difference of time frame and focus he required to activate his Qi matched with regaining his footing the odds favored the strike's contact otherwise his footing would be significantly knocked aback from her strike in the motion to block.
Retrieval from the position entailed Jayr's feet hitting the metal lockers and quickly dipping to the floor. Her stance moderate as she clung low to the ground her right foot inched forward as the left hung back. Her Bokken dipped back into her right pocket as both hands clustered to it, the blade crossing her torso.
A step forward with the right to further press Kazuya back as the blades tip would dip to the floor quickly uppercutting across the center of his torso. Jayr's own footwork pushing her forward to lash out with her right foot and kick at the side of the shin with her own shin. The hardest part coming to contact the muscle thus by reaction alone crippling the muscle and forcing the foe to otherwise droop to the side at an angle before she'd bring down the hilt of the bokken into the bridge of his nose.
