Watch your mouth
Oh, oh, oh
Because your speech is slurred enough
That you just might swallow your tongue
I'm sure you'd want, want to give up the ghost
With just a little more poise than that
While the girl was shy, her music wasn't. Quietly playing in her ears as Aurora walked down the hall to her next class, she stepped around people. Her hazel eyes avoided everyone, and she just hugged her bag tightly to her form.
Or was it God who chokes
In these situations, running late?
No, no, he called in
Or was it God who chokes
In these situations, running late?
No, no, he called in
Why had she signed up for this class? Because she loved to cook. It had been something earlier on that she had began to teach herself. From need. Her mother had been working crazy hours, with three different jobs. Aurora had to learn to clean, cook, and do everything around the house at a young age. She'd learn more of the same in this class. That was why she had asked for it.
The hospice is
A relaxing weekend getaway
Where you're a cut above all the rest
Sick and sad patients
On first name basis with all the top physicians
Prescribed pills
To offset the shakes
To offset the pills
You know you should take
It a day at a time
Her flat dark green slip on shoes stopped as she walked into the classroom. Her hazel eyes went wide. There, standing where the teacher was suppose to be...stood a giant. Her mouth was slightly open, and her hands clutched the bag tighter. Normal people scared her, but a giant? Aurora seemed on the verge of fainting.
That's when you stu-stu-stutter something profound
To the support on the line
And with the way you've been talking
Every word gets you a step closer to hell
That's when you stu-stu-stutter something profound
To the support on the line
And with the way you've been talking
Every word gets you a step closer to hell
Quickly, her knee length white skirt swishing around her, Aurora took a seat in the very middle of the class. Her hazel eyes were locked on her desk top, trying to calm herself down. If she could just calm down, she could... just relax. And enjoy the class she had been looking forward to. If he was the teacher, he couldn't be that bad...right?

Aurora sat there, huddled over her desk waiting for class to start. Her dark green button up shirt was fully buttoned, and her red hair was pulled back into a long braid. It would do no good getting her hair in whatever they would be cooking. Cooking. That calmed her down. After all, while she wasn't the best or a genius at it...cooking relaxed the shy girl. It was something she could do with all her heart, and not be called down for. At least, most of the time.
I am
Alone in this bed, house, and head
And she never fixes this
But at least she...
I am
Alone, in this bedroom
She never fixes this
But at least she...

That was when Aurora noticed her music was still playing. Quickly, she turned off her mp3, and pulled out the earphones. No need to cause problems on her first day. Hopefully, class would start soon...and everything would be just fine. She just wished Zade was here.
