"My first Day" I exhasperated to no one in particular. From the outside of the school it didn't look like much but from what I had been told, well this wasn't the best place to have a job. Maybe it would have been better if I were some kind of tough girl but, I wasn't I was just little old Linda for now.
I had to keep my face hidden. If someone were to recognize me then HE might find me before the F.B.I. found him. Still wearing a veil over my face was a bit of an irritance to say the least. Could have opted for plastic surgey but why permanently change the way I look for one man who was bound to be caught? Still the fact that my sense of dress wasnt great didn't help me.
I could only imagine what the students would think of me in my unflattereing heavy robe like garb with a veil on my face. Still I could not afford to be recognized. For a place with such a bad reputation it didnt seem so bad. I stopped a nearby male student and asked them "Excuse me but could you point me to the faculty lounge?" Without even a little hesitation the young child pointed me in the right direction. "Its down the hall to the left, third door down."
Making my way to the door he had described I found it did in fact have Faculty written on the one way glass in the front. As I walked in there was no one yet there. Seeing a coffee pot I began to brew some for myself any anybody else that would come. After a few minutes the aroma of hazelnut sifted my way. After preparing it the way I liked I had to admit one thing, they had really good coffee.

Having been on his way to work with the mindless indulgence to sleep taking over the biggest portion of his brain Gabriel drove peculiarly slow, peculiar because throughout much of his life he'd been a regular speedster. Everything getting finished before it was due, before the time required, plans pushed to advance constantly so and that wasn't referring to his driving but that was in the list of fast as well. He'd left the house so fast of course that he'd forgotten that baby Zeke was in the passenger's seat pointing out the window with large stubby fingers.
Gabriel's emerald hues turning quickly to catch the boy in the act, a large reach extending outwards to slap his hand quickly retracting it. The small boy that was his nephew crossing his arms and pouting before his eyes.
"Don't look at me like that."
Gabriel would say turning back to the road as they parked quietly, the ignition slowly cutting out before Gabriel got out of the car grabbing Zeke with a hand using the other to silence him with the old finger in mouth trick.
"Don't tell Auntie Lexi that I took you here today, kay?"
His stride taking flight as the youth gummed at Gabriel's finger, the occasional nick of the lone teeth in back catching the finger in a subtle bite before a giggle was heard.
Into the Teacher's lounge he'd stride, normally a decrepit place seeing as teachers would retreat back here to avoid the battles of students, the of course was devoid of a few staff leaders. But today it didn't look too bad, most of the teachers bundled around the couches taking it easy, and look, already a stew of coffee ready for him.
Stepping forward Gabriel would snag himself a cup pouring the liquid brew out. Zeke would let down his eyes and quickly make an attempt to grab at it. Gabriel poking the youth in the stomach as he did so.
"Don't do that, it'll make you go blind."

As I took his hand I felt a sort of comfort I was lacking when I arrived. It was always nice to be meeted and greeted rather than to be hidden in plain site like some sort of accessory to the room. "Well Hello there Tyler, my name is Linda. It is a pleasure to make your aquantince."
Introductions were never truely a strong point of mine so I did not really know where to go from here. However before I gave the wrong impression I took my hand back so it would not linger. While trying to find words I happened to notice a child with another teacher and I just could not help myself. I walked over and coddled the child. He was adorable as most are at that age. I completly ignored the man holding him, slightly less adorable. Or perhaps it just he wasnt my type. Regardless I needed to keep my manners.
"And who is this little fellow?" I asked using what I dubbed my adorable voice. Sort of squeeky as I didnt get the chance to be adorable often. However it was a fair guess that I would get both of there names with one simple question. It was typical human reaction. Still he was so cute.

Gabriel sipped down his coffee like he would a bottle of vodka quickly becoming dissatisfied with the fact that its contents didn't burn his throat nor gave him an uplifting feeling but then to digress he shouldn't be thinking like that around the ever impressionable Ezekiel Seran. Those big blue eyes looking up at him with gooey attention seeking prowess. It took every nerve to ignore him.
Gabriel's attention directing downward to the new entry's, he'd never seen them before though once again Gabriel was relatively new to staff and otherwise didn't play nice with the other kids. Even him and Leon probably wouldn't see eye to eye if they were to come into contact with one another seeing as their personalities oddly went in opposite directions despite the need to further their abilities.
Anyway, Little Man had passed up Gabriel and would introduce himself to the woman first. An observing smirk on Gabriel's face as the game of who can spot the horny teacher unraveled before his eyes. Quickly passed up the female who would otherwise give Gabriel the impression of a gypsy with the veil before her mouth would approach bypassing Gabriel as well to get at little Zeke.
Unsure whether to feel entirely crushed or not that his devilish good looks were otherwise ignored he settled in to his cup 'o' joe and drank his pains away.
"And who is this little fellow?"
Passed up for a toddler..... -.- However very much in love and engaged Gabriel was at the moment it did make his ego boost when he could compel women's attention in a room. Drat lost to a toddler....
"This is my nephew Zeke."
Gabriel would procure quickly watching as the toddler reached out daringly with amiable fingers. He was impossibly adorable and smart for his age, although what could be expected of the son of Kevala and Nathaniel. Despite Gabriel's own biases against it.
Gabriel would set his mug away and quickly unstrap the toddlers chest plate from his torso feeling relieved that he was no longer looking ridiculous in it carrying around a strapped child to his front and also thankful Winklewood wasn't here.
"Keep an eye on him, that ones a tricky bugger."
Gabriel would incline as Zeke managed his way through the straps without any trouble quickly charging his way across the staff lounge floor and running into Tyler's shin full force Subsequently falling over but getting back up to try again.

All morning Alexis was stumbling around their mansion looking for Zeke. It was hard to keep track of an adventurous toddler when a house was so massive. She would get her earings in as she ran around the house. Gabriel had been gone before she had gotten up. Alexis managed to sleep in which was rare due to the fact she was an insomniac... Well.. either Gabriel was a douche for not waking her up or he was a sweetheart for letting her have her rare moment of sleep. Finally she was dressed an ready to go."Zeeeeeeke!" though she couldn't go when she had a missing child in her midst. "Lady Seran." Alexis perked and looked behind her at the nanny. Lady Seran? She wasn't married yet....nor would she ever be a "lady"... that was just... weird. "Lord Seran had left with Zeke... I think he forgot to leave him behind with me and Olivia." Alexis huffed out some air that blew her bangs out of her eyes. "Good to know."Now that she knew where Zeke was she was out the door and found herself speeding over the limit. Well... she didn't want to be late for work... late for work meaning "skipping her coffee time". She got to the school and made her way down the halls when finally she made it to the staff lounge wit plenty of time to spare. Smiling she would instantly head to the coffee pot and pour herself a drink before looking to see who was there. Teacher I don't know.
Another teacher I don't know...
Old-Man Mustache... Note to self; find out his real name.
Gabriel.
Baby Zeke... Who shouldn't be here.Alexis would make her way to Gabriel's side to stare at the two other teachers....and at old-man mustache... basically to land claim on her fiance... for some reason she felt it necessary to claim her territory........ Alexis was a jealous bitch. >.> <.< "I wasn't aware it was bring your kid to work day....who had this bright idea." she would say towards Gabriel while looking at little Zeke. "G'day." she would say to the teachers she didn't know... which was a lot more nice than what people were used to coming from the Notorious Alexis Green.

Another woman entered the fray. It was nice. Perhaps I could find a friend in this one or perhaps she was going to be one of those nightmare women. Sadly there was only one way to find out. Looking over to her I gave out a bit of a smile and introduced myself. " Hello there. My name is Linda what is yours?" I had sincerely hoped she would notice me, though the way she was talking to .... huh I never did get his name now did I? Well the way he was being scolded it was probably for the best, I did not want to add to the problems mounting by acting like he and I were on a first name basis.

Gabriel would be first to smirk with a knowing grin, his figure turning back to lean into Alexis as she spoke. His left hand closing in over his coffee while his right would loop around her waist fastening to her right hip with a taut grip.
"I wasn't aware it was bring your kid to work day....who had this bright idea."
The firm grin remaining still as he'd lean in to kiss her forehead welcomingly before turning his attention upward with attentive focus.
"Hello there. My name is Linda what is yours?"
Peculiar. The way she spoke at the very least it was much more formalized as though she'd just come from another country having learned English only recently or perhaps had speach troubles. Gabriel continued the psychoanalysis on a very competive nature as he kept silent for a moment sizing her up. The veil drew certain attention. One of two conclusions coming to his head. Either she was religious or she didn't want people to make note of her. Eyes narrowed quickly being drawn to the later more subjectively.
"Gabriel Seran, a pleasure."
His right hand retracting from his fiancee's hip trailing along her backside before rearing to shake politely before returning down to his side.
Zeke took no notice of this transaction however managed his own little analysis from the ground. As it were ramming speed wasn't enough to topple the Giant man. He had to resort to more desperate measures. Rearing up for a charge once more he'd line himself up and bolt towards the leg. All arms sprawled out to jump at the last instant and enclose around the shin so the big man couldn't escape. Then came the crucial attack.
*NOMNOMNOM!*
All over the leg Zeke would bite down, his set of three grown in teeth gnawing away at what he could manage.
"By the way Lexi, it was his idea."
Gabriel would snicker pointing down at zeke as he proceeded with his rampant assault. Unabated Gabriel grinned turning upwards to the new teachers taking a sip from his coffee before reenacting a conversational flow once more.
"So you two teach...?"
Curious as ever, he could peg one or the other for a certain Achaetype simply based on small details of their interactions. Child's play.

She felt that familiar arm wrap around her waist and the sweet feel of his kiss... How could she stay mad at him when all she really wanted to do was...well.... Yah know.
=D?!
"That's debatable."
Her attention turned to the man behind the paper. Well... there was this whole gathering of making friends and shit and here he was hiding behind a paper. If he was going to join in on the conversation maybe he should put down the fucking thing and actually engage himself.
Turn on Lexi mood.
"What's to debate when ou're an antisocial prick? she would give him a smile and a small wink of the eye.
"Hello there. My name is Linda what is yours?"
Instantly she ignored the guy and went back to the woman who had been covered up. Now she was making an effort... so that would mean Alexis would try and make an effort to keep her mood swings in check with this one. Though all it would take is a small fuck up or not even to piss the Green woman off.
"And I am Alexander... Lexi for short."
Yeah she was going to keep her mood swings in place, but that didn't mean she would control her lying disorder.
"By the way Lexi, it was his idea."
She would glare up to him. He was such a child sometimes.
"Yeah...he also thinks eating dirt or sucking on the carpet is a good idea.... gonna join him in doing that?" again she smiled. She didn't really want to stop dishing out the snide remarks..she felt like she was on a roll today.
Then she would go quiet to hear what the teachers had to say..though it really didn't interest her... Small talk was a bitch and rather boring.

Taking it all in I realized that this wasn't such a bad group of people to be around. As Tyler got up and announced that he taught English, I would instinctively say "Math". Looking at my empty coffee cup I made my way back over to the pot. Pouring some in with a touch of milk and exactly two sugar packets I was in Java bliss.
"Would anyone like me to make them a cup?" I exclaimed with an overly happy tone in my voice. Perhaps it was because I wanted acceptance with my peers. I think it was more that I had some actual acceptance from them up to this point. Speculation into my self was not my forte, if it was I would have taught Psychology instead. I was all about the facts more than the driving emotions. Still I felt a bit of ease in the room.

"Yes, but make it a whole pot. Extra strong."I slowly stepped in through the lounge doorway, my head and face concealed under a dark pair of sunglasses and a newsboy cap. I walked gingerly around the table and took up position leaning against the wall furthest from the group. I dropped my messenger bag at my feet and slid down the wall, coming to rest sitting on the tile floor, propped up by nothing but the plaster behind me. I was hungover, bad. My skull felt three sizes too small for my brain. Glancing around the room, I noticed both familiar and unknown faces. Shrugging, I fumbled with my bag and finally got the flap open, reaching inside and pulling out a whole banana. Ripping the top open with my teeth, I peeled off the skin and started munching, taking slow, measured bites. Then I realized there was a midget in the room. Pointing at the pint-sized person, I mumbled in between bites, "...Since when did we have a dwarf on staff here?"

Gabriel would cock an assured grin, his eyes lighting up as Alexis had lied of course she was breaking the habit around home but there were no moral codes for outside the home. Besides Gabriel would feel the hypocrite to tell her to do otherwise, a skill she was all too profound at. Mentally destroying people. Funtiemz.
"Yeah...he also thinks eating dirt or sucking on the carpet is a good idea.... gonna join him in doing that?"
His brow raising curiously thinking to make a response however coming up short considering they had caught him on an occasion doing both. There was no escape to such a logic that could combat hers.
"English."
Gabriel's attention raised to the one Lexi had so finitely described as an anti-social prick. A grin alighting his face watching the man scoop up Zeke quickly heading over towards their position. It was a slight push to his buttons seeing the man touch Zeke in such a careless fashion, did he have no regards of worth? Touch another person's child was a benediction of war unless it was in means of aiding said child and his motion was in his own selfish perserverance. However Gabriel resisted, his eyes narrowing slightly on the man marking his face assured that next line he crossed would be his last.
"Math"
Emerald hues switching over towards Linda's position sizing her up a second time. Predicatble, someone so wound up in cloth must have been teacher for a class like that. Though he almost half suspected a field of science, though the sheith protecting her features more or less placed her into the two categories of religious zealot, or escapee he reasoned the former now that she stuck to hard mathamatics.
"Would anyone like me to make them a cup?"
"Yes, but make it a whole pot. Extra strong."
Curious.
Gabriel's attention swaying over towards the corner of the room catching Farren entering in the room. A satisfied grin on his face smirking all too much in a taunting measure. He did like Farren, more than most people for that matter but the man did after all take Gabriel's little games all too seriously which would inevitably lead to his own demise.
"Farren, so glad to see you."
His voice cold and taunting as though he were suggesting to rub it in his face that there was no longer any escape to recluse form Gabriel's presence. Arrogant remark yes, but would you expect any different?
"In fact there's something I've been meaning to discuss with you."
His head nodding to the side suggesting they disembark to the other corner of the room to take this into private matters.
"In private of course, you are after all an advisor."
Thats right, sitting on the sidelines.
