A text would buzz Gabriels phone.
'Courtyard. We need to talk, "teach".'
And if Gabriel didn't come...David would come find him.

'Courtyard. We need to talk, "teach".'
Text sounded like an old fashioned rumble if he ever heard one. Or perhaps rather contestation. That was more along the lines of this battle, Gabriel knew it all too well, David after all did have a thirst for power despite his 'good' nature rants. And here he was hoping to make friends, slim chance of that unless he called this meeting for a bromance.
Entering with his usual attire Gabriel presented himself before David a nonchalant look about him, bordering boredom. The consideration of battle, a fleeting possibility but he knew David all too well to assume anything else.
"Well, I'm here."
Gabriel joked standing at center with a smug grin his eyes wafting about before triggering once more on David.

Well, not like he expected anything else. "Gabriel..." A whisper under his breath as he gently pushed back his hood, almost reluctantly. He took his hands from his pockets and watched the male, slight amusement on his face. The boy had gotten strong- David knew this. Their rivalry had lasted for a vast number of years, and David had disappeared from time to time through it. Without the constant struggle and battle, Gabriel had probably caught up with him in muscle. Maybe even surpassed him. "Since i got back from overseas, I haven't had a fight. Its been almost two weeks." He put a hand behind his head, laughing. "I would really love to keep it that way, especially since we've been steering clear of each other and actually had a...somewhat pleasant interaction at your house" He took a deep breath, his eyes trailing up Gabriels form. "You've gotten a lot stronger since we last fought- and though, like Leon, you still lean on the weakness i believe outside products (Items) to be, your strength is unquestionable. As should your position in the Dragons be, im sure." He gave a half smile. "But, my problem is, the fact that your title as the leader of the Dragons is through succession, not what it should be. Thats not your fault- me and Leon both disappeared, and therefore you shouldn't be held responsible." "Thats the reason I'm going to ask you to step down as the head of the Dragons. Anyone else, for any other reason, i'd fight for it, but yours is a special case." He would partially unzip his sweater. "If you refuse, we will of course fight for it, classic Dragon style." He was somewhat glad Gabriel had shown up- David counted on his character. He had set things up in the courtyard, and had he been forced to go find the Dragon...well, he would have had to find a way to get them back here, at some point. All what ifs, though. Now, the true game began. He was fairly certain he and Gabriel would be fucking each other up, today. David just hoped he didn't underestimate the products that tied Gabriel to his strength like a leash, otherwise, he would definitely be disappointed.

Within the clocktower in the courtyard Leon watched the ongoings. He didn't have to teach any more classes for the rest of the day and the majority of the paperwork as supervisor was finished. His eyes trailed over everything, and finally down to the gathering of David and Gabriel. Seemed David wanted Gabriel to step down as the leader of the Dragons.
Leon would activate his senses, picking up on them. David was alittle weaker in attributes than Gabriel. Which would make this fight interesting, Leon was sure this would come down to a fight, no way would Gabriel give up that specific seat of power.

"My money is on Blaze."
Mathew said to Leon, his back leaning against one of the walls of the tower as he too looked down at the battle that was sure to begin. He only had a rough idea what it was all about. Apparently after he left some people tried to make the Dragon's in to a more uniform group of some sort. A thought that made Mathew roll his eyes. The Dragon's had always been independent, the titles were a measure of mutual respect. They had never been a unified organization. At least not since the fall of the old Dragons of 552. The fall of the ones that the oldest Dragons like Mathew took their name.
Moving away from the wall Mathew walked beside Leon, standing only slightly taller than his blonde friend. He was curious as to what Leon thought, though he knew Blaze was likely the under dog, he simply felt that he would be the one to walk away victorious.
"Either way out of the two, who would you want to win?" Mathew asked with a twitch of a smile to Leon. He had an idea.

From Afar Jayr would be the one otherwise keeping her distance from the fight, at the far end of the courtyard still in sight of the match-up she'd look out upon the show of force that aligned here. David and Gabriel going at odds at center, non-combative at the moment but still she could sense the amount of tension in the air. At the furthest part still would be two others, from her position she could only make out there features but was unfamiliar with them as a whole.
So for the time being Jayr kept her position otherwise unaffecting the situation stationing herself on the side lines poaching herself on the stairs at the far end, her hand holding up a heavy head to watch with curiosity. It was Gabriel after all who named her as Eclipse, so why shouldn't she be rooting for him. Though David on the other hand had become a friend, he did need to be knocked down a peg as far as his ego went.
*Sigh*

Leon's eyes would wander towards Mathew from under his shades. Thinking aout the subjct atter On multiple occasions Leon had faught Blaze, and Gabriel. Gabriel always had that hint of something dar in the back of his mind. Staying to the old ways that did not detour him fro training the kid to be a Dragon. Though he felt even today he had failed somewhere along th line, it did not cange the fact the kid could fight.
David on the other hand was always a strong fighter, one who opposed power and had a strong thirst for battle, yet kept to an ideal of justice and safety for the weak. This si what drove Leon towards suggesting him to be a Dragon, because he was a fighter, not just some push over tree hugger. He believe as well as anyone else in the Dragons that one can not grow, can no better themslf without conflict and battle. That was an undeniable truth.
"If its the case of who I want to win... It'd be David. Gabriel would use the Dragons for something other than their intended purpose. David would stay the course if not showing some form of superiority over the others."
Leon would look back to the possible combatants. Plaing the fight out in his head. Gabrel trying to force David to do something out of his usual character, throug some sort of pit of rage, while Gabriel would focuson using his Qi to mess the enviornment up. David would adapt and use tht changed enviornment as a tool. All in all, David already knew Gabriel's weakness. But the unknown factor for Leon was the changes to his style since te last time leon hadseen him.
"But if its a matter of who is going to win.... I'd say the odd are on David's side."

"Thats the reason I'm going to ask you to step down as the head of the Dragons. Anyone else, for any other reason, i'd fight for it, but yours is a special case. If you refuse, we will of course fight for it, classic Dragon style."
Gabriel couldn't help but laugh at the gaudy showing David pronounced himself in. Always the same, always quite predictable.
"And what kind of Dragon would I be if I were not to fight when challenged?"
Gabriel had been anticipating this moment in all honesty figured down to the nose right what David would say. The whole consideration towards his equipment being his strength or rather a reliance on such. Perhaps a bit true but in the same aspect David was weak in not overcoming that decisive devision of strengths. It was what set them apart after all. David having been in power when Gabriel was but a new student, the so called White Knight commanding the attention of all those about him as he went while Gabriel was but a blip.
That was then, but over the years Gabriel over came those differences, fighting harder and harder. Earning his place as the strongest, the most powerful, the feared and cunning Gabriel Seran. Oh No David had it all wrong Gabriel had earned this position and while Gabriel sought nothing more of it then to stand atop the fettered throne those around him suspected nothing more than his deeds of infamy. Paranoid delinquints.
Gabriel could sense the others here too, Leon, Amtrum, and Jayr. Yes this was playin gout perfectly as anticipated. Although a stage David put up for his rise, he'd just as soon fall to that ignorant sense of self obsession.
"So how do we go about this? Maybe you punch first, I punch back."
Gabriel would throw weakly emphasised shadow punches in the air to get his point across. No he'd wait. He was after all the one with the plan.

OOC: Talked about it OOC and Blaze gave me the green light to do this.
IC: Mathew rolled his eyes again. He wasn't surprised that Leon agreed with him on who should win out of the two fighters down below. He remembered fighting Blaze, a bit naive and too idealistic from Mathew's memory, but a good fighter. Strong, worth some respect.
Yet there he was claiming to be a Dragon and fighting to lead the Dragons? Had things really fallen so far that Dragons had to rank themselves above each other? That they needed a single leader? That wasn't what Dragons were. At least not the kind Mathew would knowledge. This was just wrong on so many levels. It was time he did something, something that he thought about doing long before he was locked up in the correctional facility.
Looking around Mathew would spy a piece of debris laying on the ground. Some piece of stone from the walls that had cracked and fallen off of the ceiling. Walking over to it and picking it up he would feel it's rough weight in his hand, judging how heavy it was so he would know how hard he needed to throw it. Then walking back to the edge of the tower he looked over at the drainage pipe, his quick way down. A grin quickly flashed across his lips before he let out a loud ear piercing whistle that he hoped would get peoples attention. Then without warning Mathew hurled the rock, right for Blaze's head. He was sure it would strike him unless he dodged it, which was possible since Mathew gave out the warning whistler.
Mathew wouldn't watch to see, instead he was already grabbing the drainage pipe using it to climb and slide down the clock tower. Trying to be careful not to drop, he was tough but he wasn't sure a drop from the top of the tower was a good idea. This wasn't Assassin's Creed.
When he was on the ground he would push through the spectators until he was at the front, closest to Blaze that he could get without entering the "arena". He wasn't sure of the results that this would have.
"Blaze, don't waste your time with this." With this he said. "If you guys have been reduced to fighting over rank and leadership the 'Dragons' are dead." He said, emphasizing the word Dragon with disgust. He turned his head to spit as if showing his disgust.
"If you want to fight over something that has lost all of it's meaning then by all means go ahead. If you don't want to waste your time then come with me. We have something to talk about." He said motioning his head for Blaze to follow him away from the crowd. "And just to prove that I am serious I will say this now, in front of everyone here. I Mathew Amtrum hear by strip myself of my Dragon Title. There is no longer an Earth Dragon!" He said looking around.
Waiting a moment to let his words sink in, Mathew would turn around and walk away. It was up to Blaze if he wanted to hear what Mathew had to say now. It was up to him if he would choose to fight Gabriel for a meaningless title or not. If he was going to finish the fight, Mathew wouldn't be around to watch it.

David paused, shaking his head as he reached up to once again zip down his sweater and break Gabriel. It was a tradition for him, one the boy never learned from. As he grabbed his zipper, though, a shrill would catch his attention, and as he turned to see where it came from, a rock struck him, right above the left eye.
"The fuck?"
He turned to face what he thought might be a new threat, and seeing Mathew come through, got prepped to get jumped. It wouldn't surprise him, not in todays standards. As Mathew began to speak, David relaxed, his eyebrows drawing down. Calculating what he said, David came to a sort of inner realization. The only reason he had ever been a Dragon, been trying to lead them, keep the standard, was to do what he thought the older Dragons wanted and made. Listening to Amtrum disregard them, regardless of what he thought of the former ED as a person, more than intrigued him. He turned to Gabriel, standing silent a moment.
"We...may need to finish this another time."
And with that, he would push through the crowd, and follow Mathew to hear his strange and most curious proposal.
OOC((David abdicates his claim at this moment/exits thread. Sorry for the waste of time Ryan ^_^ Though, now might be a perfect time to fight Leon =D))

Gabriel couldn't help but smile as David caught one in the eye, a small rile of envy in that strike forced a simplistic laugh. The small sigh as Amtrum procured his dramatics, what was it with this school and kids with the dramatic flair? A shock tilt to his head out of curiosity more than anything else; granted Gabriel was probably one of the worst perversion of that statement in his era it didn't mean he enjoyed it when someone else did it now. Yeah, quite honestly a pest. Regardless he got points for a bullseye. "We...may need to finish this another time." Gabriel's eyebrow cocked upwards out of confusion. So in other words he was walking away from a fight? This got Gabriel quite confused thinking over the hypocritical topics counteracting one another in their own defenses. Essentially coming to this mental picture. (See Below) A quick shake to his head, a rise of his hand to muddle through his hair before formulating a grin on his face. So Basically what was happening now, was Amtrum was getting rid of the biggest problems and leaving Gabriel to his own devices. Brilliant. An applaudible showing for sure. Looking upwards with a gaudy smirk Gabriel would fixate on Leon. "So how's about it? Last I recall we've never finished an actual fight."Gabriel would chuckle having looked forward to going at it again with Leon. However much change had gone through his opinions of the Nova Dragon, Gabriel wouldn't know but he intended to pick them out perhaps even change them if so given the opportunity. Then again these Dragons were stubborn. If one shouted fire the others would seemingly scream and jump overboard. At least thats how he viewed the old brood.

Leaping from the window and landing in a roll, Leon would get to his feet and walk over, pulling out his cell phone. Typing quickly a text being sent to Mathew.
"Gonna be late."
After sending he would close the phone and stop walking. He let his eyes shift from beneath those shades towards the clock tower. Unlike other people who relied completely and solely on their Inner Qi to power them, Leon could draw on the electrical flow of things around him, this clock tower esspecially. It is hooked to the entire city power supply, giving him untold amounts of power to obsorb and use without draining his own supply.
"Fine with me."
Leon would say as he put himself in stance. turning so his left faced Gabe, letting his left arm follow the curve of his body and hang. His right arm crssing to be placed nder his chin.

"Fine with me."
"Excellent,"
Gabriel would grin entirely undeterred. While their presumptions were both right and wrong to varying degrees Gabriel held his secrets close, those in mind for the Dragons were quite appealing to his own designs as they had been since he'd made note of them. Back as a student when he was below par so to speak, these Dragons reigned supreme and wrecked havoc where they went. Now they clung to a faux sense of honor and thrill of the fight when it was all simply politics. Regardless their movements meant nothing anymore only aiding Gabriel's greater design.
As Leon dropped into his position Gabriel would do the same, mirroring his figure in a sense as to shake things up. If there was one thing Gabriel knew about Leon's abilities is that they went unrivaled. As for his fighting style. The monster went all out early. Concluding these Gabriel felt he had the strategy to compensate for the differences.
A bold charge outward across the yard would clash in but a second as Gabriel dipped his left shoulder ramming upwards with his elbow to create a battering ram assault at Leon, the fist and forearm protecting his neck.
Sweeping right Gabriel's right foot would downward knee the outer most knee of Leon forcing it into a kneel drawing his body weight towards the ground as Gabriel slammed his right fist into the man's face. All assuming it'd work Gabriel's left foot would retract sweeping so that his right side would favor towards Leon using the right forearm as a shield.

Leon watched the man charge at him, his eyes following the motons with little difficulty he was much faster, so Leon assumed he was much stronger, the Elbow moved outward, easy enough, Leon turned so it would hit him square in the chest, taking the blow, feeling out everything about Gabriel's new attributes and fighting style. In that single split second Leon analyzed, tore apart, re assembled and learned everything he needed about Gabriel's offenses, and even a little of his defences. He was a max damage fighter at this point, though alittle uncreative in the first strike, that didn't really matter.
He was much stronger than last time, but weaker than himself, which mant the power he was sensing wasn;t from his speed or strength, that left the boy's mind and how tough he was, which was likely pretty high, Leon felt the kind of unwavering motion from the kid's elbow, which meant it didn't fase him at all.
In that split second all of that was deduced, but while Gabriel was still in range, Leon's arms would be forward from the impact, his right hand close to Gabe face, the middle finger would be hooked by the thumb and he would flick Gabriel in the left eye. Whil the forward momentum was stll in effect.
Not only that but because of his gloves it would feel like one of Leon's punches only alittle stronger. Leon wasn't fighting Gabriel for the Dragons, or anything like that. He was fighting Gabe becaue Leon had found out the guy had hopitalized on of his friends, and that just doesn't go without a beat down.
Onc th flick would happen it would likely ditract Gabe from continueing his attack, Leon would use that to his advantage, the likely reaction would be for Gabe to clasp the eye, if that happened or not Leon would move into Gabe's range and move as if he where going to uppercut Gabe, pushing a finger up instead he would move to flick Gabe on the bottom of the jaw. This was a head game. Leon was using unknown info about hs gloves to make it seem like Gabe is out of his league.

The quick flick to the eye at face value meant little to Gabriel, though based on human reactions the man would recoil just out of grip of such a strike barely missing which inclined that the true force behind his initial strike would've been dulled if even slightly. Jerking back and away never meant Gabriel was retreating as that was only a faint. His micro style battle was only increasing by the days as Leon jabbed forward proceeding to uppercut at the evading head. Contact. The slight burn of a hit but all the same Gabriel had ample time to shift to a degree where it'd favor him. If this was a mental game then that simply meant he'd have to out wit Leon. While the two hadn't crossed each other much before, least to the same extent he had with David, Gabriel felt the man relatively predictable. But heres to hoping.
Rolling out to the right side as Leon made contact Gabriel's right knee would buckle down concaving into Leon's inner right thigh dragging his right shoulder upward into the man's ribcage and letting Gabriel's right hand sink under the shoulder as a guard to prevent his attack from being stopped by normal means.
Nails from Gabriel's hand would tear from under the skin to grab whatever he could, which he was aiming for a rib. With such a handle Gabriel would tromp forward pushing Leon into the tower he so fondly chose to be this battleground. As he'd push the man would jerk and tear hoping to separate it with as much pain as possible.
