An Escalated pace Jayr moved quickly, as she would most often do nowadays stacked with the never ending muse to collaborate with such a great many people. Her trademarked heels clattering against the tile floor always resounding her presence as the girl had appeared on campus. Though Jayr was hardly alone at times like these at one point or another she'd be talking with someone in the SLF or perhaps even just a small group of friends, even the opportunistic welcomed person creatively wishing to apply themselves to the group as well. It meant a great deal to Jayr when they chose themselves to get involved and made it a point to do so regularly, made the SLF look much better to the neigh sayers.
Today her contributions brought her through the second floor math hall, while she'd just signed up for a math course to add to her ever flourishing schedule she wanted to check out who else had done so, mending a social life atop that was also a key priority.
"Alice would you happen to know who else signed up? I can't seem to find a list."
Jayr would thumb over the schedule listed on the door finding herself stumped as to the organization of such. Lists weren't her forte, so long as they weren't color coated. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Alice would you happen to know who else signed up? I can't seem to find a list."
Alice looked up from her notepad with a blank stare. The slight confusion being drawn from her face as she replied simply with enacted silence. Drooping back down to the notepad as though it held all the words answers Alice sought her escape.
"Perhaps theres such a thing as confidentiality agreements?"
She'd reply with a slight smile looking up to Jayr with a quick laugh as Jayr didn't reply immediately. A stern glimpse from Jayr before the moment was broken and they both seemed to get it. Jayr was a pillar perhaps she could get around it, though they both knew she wouldn't. Darn moral backbone.

"Ooookay. Completed application for janitorial? Check."
Hair combed, piercings removed, glasses on, a pastel blue polo, a more fitting pair of jeans and a pair of white Adidas sneakers---comfortable, but presentable when coming for business. At least, that's what Kevin was told. He knew he could have come a bit more tidy, but nowadays, maybe personality didn't hurt when coming requesting a business or job opportunity...right? The black binder holding any important papers was gripped in his right hand firmly as Kevin would make a rather brisk walk down the hallway.
"Completed form for after school activity? Check."
He was lowly talking to himself, and he could get away with it, given the hustle and bustle of the school at the time. A few less people around to create noise, and there miiiight have been a problem. But in any case, Kevin came for two reasons---the first was for work, and the second was an attempt to start a program after hours for students. He originally thought it silly he needed to apply for such, but there was the whole issue of liability and the school wanting to waive responsibility for anything that happened during the time. Wise choice, considering how things went in schools now. And as for the former, it wasn't like Kevin really needed a job, since he was already technically being paid to do something here, but how could he hang around the school without justifying it? Being a cleanup guy during hours seemed a pretty reasonable excuse to be on campus while class was going. Sure, plenty people were doing it! Sure, faculty probably didn't give two shits! But it just felt right! And after all, Kevin wasn't in any position to be causing a raucus...yet. Thus, he'd adhere to some sort of restrictions while getting his own shit together.
And so he would walk, mentally considering all that he'd say as he presented his forms and requests to whom it may concern...when he'd set his eyes on quite the pretty little something strolling down the hallway. In heels. HIGH HEELS. Does she know where she is..? The sight made him cock his brow---of course, it was nothing out of the normal for a girl to want to dress cute in high school, or anywhere period. The problem was, how did she get away with it without catching some sort of hell? After all, she seemed like the type that might be optimal prey---he'd stop there, out of concern for where his own thoughts might go. And on top of that, his curiosity could be used as an excuse to override his usual shyness around the opposite sex anyway, even though he was most likely older and really shouldn't be getting in this girl's business anyway.
Y'know, I bet it all started with a conversation for R.Kelly too... "...Huh. You wear heels everyday or got a pair of fight shoes at ya locker? Didn't think girls could get away with that nowadays here." The hint of New Yorker from his days at 552 were still present in his voice; his words fell with enough bass to be masculine, but not enough to truly hit like some men. He held half a smirk on his face, wondering if she'd respond simply for him to make conversation before he went and did his business.

The Controversy of Heels "...Huh. You wear heels everyday or got a pair of fight shoes at ya locker? Didn't think girls could get away with that nowadays here."
Jayr would smile turning her attention over past Alice for but a moment to focus her attention on the new face. She was always fond of meeting new people so long as they were civil, and for the most part an opener like that was merely made out of curiosity. An opposing step forward so that now she was shoulder to shoulder with Alice, despite the girl being a tad bit shorter than her in respectable standards.
"Well there is a measure of skill for those who can fight in heels."
She'd smile brightly at that comment feeling a bit of pride in the matter. Though he was a bit right, she did have an extra pair of shoes in her locker....just in case. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Alice would look too and fro remaining relatively silent for the exchange seeing as she wasn't the one to wear heels, at least not to school, otherwise she'd at the very least be on par as far as height went with Jayr. Or so she'd keep telling herself that.
"I'm Jayr,"
Her attention up again as Jayr extended a hand to the guy curious whether she'd be acknowledged as well but not doubting Jayr's ability to play the diplomat.
"And this is Alice."
The swooning wave of relief swooshing over her as she wasn't forgotten in the whole mess of introductions. Thats right she didn't doubt Jayr but she had her own issues with trust that Jayr was beginning to know quite well about.
"Its not like its that hard..."
Alice would pipe in with her attempt at joking, though a bit too late for the moment perhaps on a whim she'd be lucky there. Jayr would pick up with a smile not forgetting her of course, that felt good.

She was underage, Kevin was sure. And he didn't care how many years, just the fact that she was a minor made him basically turn away from any possibility of flirting. But one thing, one concrete fact was present: she had him at the smile. Oh God, it's gorgeous. Fuuuuuuckfuckfuckfuck. She mentioned it took skill to duke it out without taking off the Jimmy Chus---or Luboutins, or Louies, Guccis, Pradas, Shiekhs, whatever the hell brand they were. All Kevin knew was that the girl worked 'em well and it was playing on Kevin's fetishes something terrible. And if she really could fight in them? Well. "Heh. Ain't much that's better than a girl who can look good and still manage to whoop my ass." He'd smile, almost let out a few chuckles before a flashback hit him momentarily---he remembered brown hair, a pretty face, smiling at one point. But that was long ago. Mental images then flashed to a red bandana, that same girl now wearing a frown; a fight, some foul remarks, and a slight twinge of pain in the back of his head---Kevin was reminded there was a metal plate behind his skull because of a female with similar traits he just mentioned. Linda. Damn. His expression seemed to waiver for a moment before he forced himself to snap back to reality---it was over, done with, that flame had since been extinguished. Kevin only wished the pain and regret had as well...but he'd struggle within and succeed in regaining a smile as he'd take the lady's hand and shake it secure enough to be masculine, but with enough restraint to keep it respectful around a woman. He was taught well! "Name's Kevin, nice to meet ya. The both of ya." He'd shake Alice's hand as well if one was extended. And so the introductions were aside---he'd give a weak smirk and a shrug at Alice's comment, mentally noting it was a tad late but he wouldn't judge. At least she wasn't going to sit silent, right? In any case, ol' Kev looked between the two and would continue on with the conversation. "So, there's obviously somethin' outside of just fashion sense here. I just get that vibe from you two...what makes y'all so special from the rest of the knuckleheads and crazy lil' broads around here?" Not at all intended to be disrespectful to them or mean any sarcasm, Kevin just seriously wanted to know. Something made these girls---Jayr especially---want to appear a step above the rest in more than just means of posing a threat. Drake's song Fancy came to mind, and it seemed to fit at first glance. Now, he could be wrong and Jayr and Alice could just be trying a cutesy look to get a man, but he doubted it. What was the secret?

The Secret on everybody's lips "So, there's obviously somethin' outside of just fashion sense here. I just get that vibe from you two...what makes y'all so special from the rest of the knuckleheads and crazy lil' broads around here?"
Jayr turned towards Alice with a full smile, from cheek to cheek it stretched considering if Kevin would be at all interested in their new organization. Though she didn't know much about him she could consider the same of her other members. Make a bold outlandish statement, see how they reacted, build from there. Wasn't that the basic idea of getting out there. Alice would look back with a confused gesture as though she didn't link up their girl sync system.
"Well you see about that."
Jayr would tilt her head slowly backing up a step or two tilting her head back to reveal the nape of her neck before turning to ALice once more.
"Its a secret."
Gesturing her finger up to her lips Jayr would make the soft shh noise before breaking out into slight laughter giving his anticipation a beat of concern hopeful that the small intro would liven his interests in it. One couldn't simply preach to an unwilling party. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Well you see about that, Its a secret."
Alice looked up very curious herself as though she'd been misinformed about the situation as she gave Jayr a confused look trying to figure out what was going on in her head. Pursed lips displayed her dislike of the situation before Jayr would break into a slight laugh like she'd been joking all along.
"Sorry I couldn't help myself."
"Stop playing,"
Alice would demand shortly a bit short on patience despite the fact joking was a relief from what this school was up to. The small girl would turn about to Kevin cutting off Jayr with an instant of command.
"She'd like to interest you in joining the Student Liberation Front, a replacement for the pillar system seeing as Jayr is the commanding pillar at the moment, isn't that right."
Stifling a grin from behind her Jayr would nod before stepping forward with a cocked grin.
"Don't need to be so brash, but I guess its necessary."

Again, with the smile---she should be making this easy for him! Why couldn't it just be EASY to resist the attractions of a girl who hadn't even graduated? Sure, she was built like she should be a term paper away from a Bachelor(ette)'s Degree and modeling part-time, but she still probably couldn't buy a pack of smokes!
Focus, foo'. Do NOT do anything stupid. Show NO interest.
Throughout this entire mental struggle, it should be noted ol' Kev was keeping a face of calm, cheerful anticipation, lips curved into a smile with his mouth somewhat open...annnnnd then she dropped the dagger---that tilt of the neck. It might not have been so major, but you women should realize sometimes, the little things that you do can mean TONS to a man---when we notice. But in any case, the simple change in neck posture altered Kevin's expression to something a bit more...engaged. His brows raised ever so slightly, that smile fading. Jayr and Alice might catch Kevin shudder some---this girl was sending shivers down his spine. When Ms. Jayr finally spoke, it seemed initially that her words fell on deaf ears, as Kevin didn't immediately respond; he kinda remained in place. He heard it, and thought it some weird kind of amusing, but his body language didn't reflect that he comprehended.
Alice, fortunately, Alice broke the spell as she jumped in again---Jayr let off an infectious little laugh, and Kevin came back to reality, blinking twice before fixing his jawline to snap shut again. He felt an itch on his lip and prayed it wasn't drool...a casual scratch of the chin to cover himself. No moisture. Gracias a Dios.
What was said next was profound, to say the least. And it showed in Kevin's demeanor that it hit him, brows frowning, lips parting as he'd cock his head down, eyeing Jayr at an angle. Student Liberation Front...sounded like something that wasn't just a one-man group. Didn't 552 have the Defenders way back when, come to think of it? Kevin could take a guess that it wasn't just a docile little movement; hell, cops nowadays acted like a gang in itself. Given the school's situation, he wouldn't openly say anything but Kevin had reason to believe that he was standing in front of a gang leader, no matter what the cause was. The added intensity to Jayr's position, however, was her additional title.
A Pillar. So she's a pillar who wants to replace the pillar system..? It's smart...means it's easier to build a following, even though she's going against the same shit she enforces.
He'd genuinely rub his chin now with interest. Considering his true objectives in his being at 259, Kevin could definitely make use out of any information and possible progression with this Student Liberation Front. Nice way to start, hm?
"...Huh. Definitely interesting. Got a Pillar workin' her way around in high heels; now I REALLY got a reason to worry." He'd give a somewhat bashful smile before folding his arms over his chest, head leaning slightly to the left. He hadn't noticed that his eyes, or rather the color of them, were shifting from that inky black to their original hazel, shining brilliantly as the light hit them. "But I'm down to hear about this, most def. Granted, I dunno how much I can do considerin' I graduated already, but I'm applyin' for work here...maybe if I ain't scrubbin' blood off the floors I can sit down, hear ya out and maybe make myself useful?" By that he meant see whose heads needed to be busted in order to keep things running smoothly. Though he was getting ahead of himself...he still needed to hear out Jayr and Alice's intentions for their little coup of the system and if it was something Kevin could ride with. Because as good as it sounded, he still had a job to do...and unfortunately, failure couldn't come with the option to go into seclusion at Mom's back in San Francisco this time. But nonetheless, it was a start as he'd thought earlier.
"So you guys got time to talk right now, or..?"

Peaking Interests A glowing laughter as Jayr caught his joking sense. At least some people viewed her as a heavy hitter here, or at the very least came to admit it. For that she was thankful that she'd be making some kind of impression aside from the ditsy side character only appealing to an attractive desire rather than a true threat. She shrugged the smile away quickly to return however was her preusual grin, perhaps it was best to be under the radar. At least for now.
"So you guys got time to talk right now, or..?"
"Yea," Jayr would look about from side to side trying to quickly gather a meeting place where they could sit things out to discuss them, or perhaps a place to transition to considering Jayr and Alice were fairly free for the rest of the afternoon till preparations for tomorrow were to begin.
"Lets head over towards the Student Council Room. Its pretty quiet there from what I can tell."
Alice would say interceding quickly with an apologetic smile hoping she hadn't cut her off and interrupted some code of sisterhood, but Jayr simply turned with a grin and a subtle nod.
"Yeah, sounds good, hope you're up for walking and talking?" *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Yeah, sounds good, hope you're up for walking and talking?"
A simple nod and Alice would take the lead, her strides however short bridged quick enough to lead ahead of the other two. She knew well enough the meaning behind a plan where Jayr did not. Her duty at the moment was to act as a shield to wary ears and eyes more so to deflect the potential violence should words spoken between the pair fall ill.
"So the Student Liberation Front is in basic standards a Council for students to voice their concerns of the school; how things are dealt with, potential troubles, and even things as small as funding. But again these are just the basic measures, I would hope for it to become something more than that, bridge it into multiple branches where we act as the student body itself, a replacement for the pillars in which the students regulate themselves. Hopefully thats not too ambitious to ask for."
Jayr would shrug her shoulders to her ears with an innocent smile looking to Kevin for some sort of verbal approval or sense of conflict for which she could build off of. All the while their steps would carry them to the staircase churning around to the lower floor levels.

If Kevin could find a legitimate reason to tell the girl shut her mouth, he would---just fucking gorgeous, she was. Kevin was trying to focus, look cool and collected...and here he was feeling all the more awkward, to the point where nerves were making him hot. He'd do what he could to ignore the bead of sweat rolling from his right temple down to his jawline.
He'd nod in Alice's direction as she suggested heading to what Kevin could only assume to be the Student Liberation Front's headquarters on campus. He was all too happy to walk and maybe move somewhere where he could breathe some air that was different from where he was standing. 'Cause you know, air can totally get old around you when you get nervous, right?
His right hand found its way into his front pocket to try and alleviate itself of some perspiration, while Kevin gave ol' Alice some thought---Kevin considered how the schools (or at least schools of 259's fashion) worked in heirarchy. There was a school captain, who appointed, at normal, 4 pillars. He knew that some schools let pillars come from any grade; 259, from what Kevin remembered, had one pillar from each grade level. And at that point, it was an unofficial, unwritten rule for each pillar to not be alone and have someone there who didn't just assist the pillar in their affairs, but also hold their own as something of a guard against someone trying to take that pillar's title or even question authority. Basically, this long equation meant, from Kevin's safe judgement, that even though Alice was very much looking like a sidekick and subordinate, she was probably in a similar position to Jayr in looking very much more vulnerable than she actually was, and wasn't likely one to be fucked with.
But that was just from Kevin's personal thoughts and from the small bit of observation he had. He could be wrong. BACK TO OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAMMING:
Kev listened intently, respectfully letting Jayr speak and explain what the SLF was all about, even though he had plenty questions already. First off: "Nah, it ain't impossible at all, it's definitely reachable...I can see myself potentially gettin' behind the cause, but first thing's first: what's the other pillars' take on this? Or matter of fact, where's the school captain in the matter? I think it'd be entirely too much like the right thing for everyone to be behind on the effort." Kevin used his left middle finger (no subliminal message) to push his glasses up closer to his face as the three would walk---time to get a scope on the situation.

A little Hiccup "Nah, it ain't impossible at all, it's definitely reachable...I can see myself potentially gettin' behind the cause, but first thing's first: what's the other pillars' take on this? Or matter of fact, where's the school captain in the matter? I think it'd be entirely too much like the right thing for everyone to be behind on the effort."
Jayr didn't know how to react to that first off. Her meandering walk hesitant before making up for the lost pace by increasing speed before mellowing out. It was a good measure that he did after all agree with her simple prognosis or at least alluded to the ambitious goal should it eventually be realized but the question threw her a bit off.
The other pillars? She didn't know quite who they were as of yet. There was a junior known as Spike who had apparently held the title or so she'd been briefly informed. As for the other grades she was at a loss but they all seemed to be united against the actions of others seeking themselves out as individuals to hinder progress. Essentially against her goals.
"They're uncooperative, I suppose the best action is to stimulate action."
Jayr turned up with a smile hindering at the base of the stairs with a clever little grin on her face.
"In other words force them to react one way or another, give them a deadline to choose or face replacement seeing as this is a means I cannot compromise to." *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Alice simply kept pace managing for her feet to almost get trampled on by Jayr as she fluctuated in pace here and there. A short mutter under her breath before matching it and turning her head back every few moments to keep tied into the conversation. As Jayr's friend she quickly considered the option herself. There was the consideration of violence seeing as Jayr could handle a brute force attack against all the pillars simultaneously at this point. Regardless of their army sizes Jayr outmatched and outnumbered them with the commanding pull of the SLF as it seemed to grow daily.
"Of course I could offer them admittance into the SLF but I think they'd take it as an insult to their pride more than anything. As much as I'd like to proclude violence from this it may be necessary."
"Any thoughts on the matter Kevin?" Alice would pipe in hoping he had his own opinion on the matter. In fact that was the strength of the SLF, resorting to asking questions of one another and choosing the best options to proceed forth with.[/blockquote]

Not at all surprising; with a system that had been in place for as long as it had been, and considering that, for years, students at 259 were in no way new to the violent nature of other students, faculty, and anyone else who was in on the daily action...well, it was safe to say that Kevin expected for not everyone to be on the supporting boat. And even though the goal of the SLF was definitely possible (and ideal for Kevin's interests), Jayr was sadly mistaken if she wasn't expecting retaliation.
Kev listened intently, and it sounded like the two at least acknowledged that things might come to blows. Buuuut, just so Jayr and Alice had a decent scope of what they and their group were up against, Kevin would just give his thoughts...Kevin wasn't sure how many others were behind this thing, but regardless:
"You're definitely right. They might not agree...a lotta these fools LIKE chaos and disorder, after all. The other Pillars might not like it either outta concern for their positions and what it brings 'em. But the problem is, if you come to 'em on peaceful terms and they refuse, you better be ready to jump on 'em almost immediately. There's shit to do to any turnover of a regime or standin' power...come to 'em with an offer of peace but be set with a damn army, or at least enough folks with enough power to flip over what's---"
Kevin caught himself staring at Jayr while he spoke and tripped over his own foot for a second, but quickly recovered. Swag.
"---what's in place." Ahem. "Plus, be ready to crack down on anyone tryin' to rise up AFTER you take control. You definitely got a good idea, but...in an atmosphere that basically promotes violence...you're gonna have to be ready to swallow a pill that requires you to step down into the dirt before ya environment comes up. Anybody who wants to scrub a mess runs the risk of gettin' grit under their nails, y'feel?"

Steps In Motion Jayr would nod. She knew clearly what Kevin was getting at, it seemed everyone in this place knew that well enough that no power house stood chance of keeping that power for very much longer after snatching it up. A bit of the hesitance on the Pillar's front he assumed, as well as those accumulating a following. The Difference significantly was that Jayr was in the lead as far as foot races went, already she commanded the majority of members in the school and could probably command control from the pillars and student body this instant if she so declared it. The problem was retaliation. She hesitated sheerly because if she were to take command this instant it would be to unify all neutrals and opposer's under a threatening force. A silent nod again before realizing she'd been drifting off into a comatose pace. Her legs dragging her to the door before opening it and sliding inside unconsciously as the others were presumably to follow. Jayr would tuck into a small seat at the rounded table sinking into the back before looking up. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "So this is it." Alice would extend her hands towards the table before them. Fairly small considering the masses that'd be here. In fact now that she was considering to mention to Jayr that they should upgrade to a legitimate council room where they could host assemblies, but that was indeed for another time. "So you up to give us a hand Kev?"Jayr would smile tilting her head up to him like the innocent puppy dog she'd been made out to be. A soft smirk from Alice facing her before shaking her head trying to be oblivious to her expression and walking across the room to a small cabinet siphoning through things. They would after all be facing a rough couple of weeks now. The present pillars being most presently being the significant threats. The guy had a serious point, there were those who wanted nothing more than anarchy. It seemed to be their prime opposition that stood against them, not the pillars themselves but the anarchists. What'd this world come to.[/blockquote]

Kevin studied the duo---it seemed they both were listening and giving what he said some thought. He was hoping it wasn't because they didn't see this coming at all...Kevin didn't see this being a smooth transition at all in any case. But they seemed confident---and that was what could help cement their success. Whether they had it all set or if the odds were stacked high against them, they'd need to go all-in or Jayr and Alice might as well quit.
The trio reached the room, finally--- Kevin made an effort to open the door first, let the ladies in, and close the door behind him as he'd enter last. A gentleman...and a bodyguard. He decided not to take a seat, instead picking a place to lean on at the wall to see if Jayr or Alice had anything to say on top of what had already been discussed...and after a few seconds of silence, he felt like the spotlight had been set on him now, for more than he'd liked. Hazel eyes glanced from Jayr, to Alice, then back to Jayr again...his gaze stayed there for a few more seconds, then he'd find a neutral point in the room to look at. Damn his hormones.
And then the question was asked---would he join? Well, he was certainly tempted. Pretty girl asking you to join a righteous cause? It all seemed legit, and he was pretty sure the cute face and infectious smile weren't disguising some snake of a woman. He'd had his share of that and it was only in one instance that it happened. He'd weight his options carefully...but in the end, Kevin ultimately felt he'd be making a solid investment to commit his time and energy to this cause. He'd feel right in saying he'd join, and Kevin was actually gaining another smile as he'd open to speak---
"Yeah, uh huh! Y'know what it is! I'm a SF G, I do it big! Uh huh, small to a Giant! All the haters in the house better keep quiet! Up in the City when ya see me y'know everything black and orange, black and orange, black and---"
---"Shit. Lemme get this." Kevin heard his phone go off right before he answered the girls...maybe if he'd just hit his phone through his pocket without looking, he wouldn't have felt compelled to answer. Problem was, he did pull the phone out of his pocket to answer, and as a result, the touchscreen showed a contact ID that was...damning, to say the least. His whole mood changed, and suddenly Kevin began to feel like there had been a leash that had suddenly been clamped on him with very little room to breathe. He'd press the touchscreen icon to answer the call, placing the phone to his ear. A gruff, raspy voice belonging to a middle-age male would be there to answer.
"Hello?" "I need a progress report." "I ain't been here a week." "You've been at the school...and even if you didn't, I gotta hear about a plan of attack. We know what we're up against, so we can't just run into this shit willy-nilly." "You dunno that...I do." "Well, that needs to change. There's terms to this agreement...and if I feel like you're not doing enough to stand to these terms, I'll have no choice but to end your employment. Look, I'm not one to run blackmail but this is huge. You and me BOTH can NOT afford another failure like 552---" "---I'm done listenin'...you ain't fair. When you wanna see me and where?" "Be home by 3. I'll meet you." "For all I know, you got a key. Psycho ex-girlfriends...gotta love 'em." "You still want me, heheh." "Old asshole. I'ma see you at the house."
And with that, the Brazilian hung up and slipped his phone back in his pocket. He'd look up at the girls with a face that showed the man was just a tad bit annoyed---the reason he was here, in Long Beach, at 259, was already trying to yank at Kevin. The problem was, he didn't have room at all to maneuver. The stakes were too high...as much as Kevin didn't like being forced back into conflict, taking a trip to San Quentin for a crime he didn't commit, but was convicted of, was NOT worth his lack of cooperation.
Kevin checked the time...he needed to make a couple of moves around town and maybe get something to eat before coming back to his apartment and dealing with his ...situation.
"Yo...that was my uncle. He's been keepin' tabs on me and I been lookin' for a job, which was kiiinda why I was here at the school. Look, lemme take this application into the office and I gotta run home to talk to 'im. Otherwise, he'll have my ass...husky, balding Italian men with slickback hair ain't nothin' to trifle with." His eventual laugh at the statement was genuine; the statement itself was false. Though at least his interest in the SLF was true!
"What I CAN do is, I can come around tomorrow or maybe we can meet once ya get out for the day...I wanna come back to you guys with ideas. So I won't try and be the 50th guy to ask for ya numbers today, but I can give ya mine so we can hook it up for later. That okay?"

Self Provoked Interests "What I CAN do is, I can come around tomorrow or maybe we can meet once ya get out for the day...I wanna come back to you guys with ideas. So I won't try and be the 50th guy to ask for ya numbers today, but I can give ya mine so we can hook it up for later. That okay?"
Jayr would smile brightly raising in her seat and clapping ecstatically, but it was a clap with the base of her palms so that no audible noise would be made aside from the brief contact of flesh and dulled bone. She was enjoying how things were turning out and how easily people joined the cause, almost like a subtle telling off to people like Kiyoshi, Amtrum, and David who said they had their doubts about the movement, about how people were. Quite honestly her attempts have proven otherwise, people were always looking for change a revolutionary sense of optimism.
"Sounds great, how about here tomorrow, same time?"
Jayr would incline her head to the side with a bright smile, hands settling in her lap working to push her upwards slightly off the base of the chair and make her appear to be sitting more upright, confident in a way. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Sounds great, how about here tomorrow, same time?"
Alice would nod calmly, with a slight tilt to her head she'd bury her nose into the books and set to work on noting it down in their personal schedules to hold yet another impromptu meeting here before things went underway. They couldn't exactly be holding up things too very long but it'd be impossible to talk Jayr out of letting another person into the group. Alice was the doubter to their means while Jayr was the optimist. It would always seem to balance one another out in a way or form.
Once chalked down in the books Alice would stand up and cross the room. Her hands wrapped around her own set of notepads and books quickly turning down to Jayr to suggest them leaving before taking up with Kevin. A slight cautious grin sizing him but before speaking.
"Alright, here's mine and Jayr's numbers I'll kindly be taking yours and we'll reconvene here tomorrow until then adieu."
Alice's responses slightly cold in demeanor despite trying to appear as homely as could be managed, but undoubtedly Jayr would be one to follow things up as she left the room. And as expected Jayr jumped up with a hug to take whatever number offered giving a warm goodbye and taking off after Alice in a flurried pace.

And like a gentleman, Kevin would hold the door for the two little ladies upon their walking out.
Buuuuut let's rewind: Kevin would verbally give his number, leaving them to their own devices as to how they'd keep it for their records...not like he expected either of them to call unless it was something related to the business of this operation. Which is exactly how it should be done, ya pervert ass muthafucka. Yes, Kevin was one to scold himself but he couldn't help it---if he'd been to 259 back when he was a senior---wait, Kevin WAS here as a senior. Which meant that Jayr and Alice miiiight have been around when he was. Maybe? Kevin couldn't say for sure that he remembered them now, but the point was that it probably would have been all fine and dandy if Kevin was still pre-graduation.
But alas, that was no longer the case and instead of being a young romantic affair, Kevin would see any extracurricular activity with these two as being the steady road to a prison sentence for statutory rape. And Kevin was NOT, he was NOT going to be the next R. Kelley.
Since, y'know...Kevin's famous. But moving on.
It was then that Alice would jot down something in the books, Kevin nodding that it being set---he would reconvene with them again once this whole situation with his 'superiors' would sort out. And to boot...they were giving him their numbers? Kevin's eyelids shot wide open at this one...he didn't immediately respond, but after a couple of seconds was fumbling to get his phone in his hand to key in Jayr and Alice's phone numbers. And so as the short meeting was dispersed, Kevin would let the two leave and close up behind himself as he'd walk away...doing his best not to get a second glimpse at the girls from behind as he'd turn and walk away himself.
Care to say we're done here for now?
