Mr. King's classroom was of ordinary size, nothing special. He had a nice desk in the back of the room, along with a small one in the front, with a leather chair, and a podium. Around the room he had numerous bookcases with volumes of texts on mythologies, Lovecraftian lore, and theology. Aside from his Cthulhu plushy on his desk, and the stacks of papers. His desk was devoid of personal items, save for the computer. The desk in the front had a different Cthulhu plushy, and this one looked quite a bit meaner.
Ah, second semester. Finally I get to teach some of these kiddies.
Mr. King's class was only taught during the second semester, and was usually overlooked by most students. Who wanted to talk about Gods anyway?
Brrrriiiiiiing!
The first bell just rung, my kids will be along anytime now.
He sat down in the leather chair, dear god was it comfortable. He was still wearing his voodoo hat, and his usual patchwork pants, and jacket. With the nice Louisianian French shirt. His spectacles were halfway down his nose, and his eyes were focused on the door. On the board he had written the usual introductory text.
Welcome to Mythology, I am Mr. King, please take your seats.

Welcome to Mythology, I am Mr. King, please take your seats.
It was time for class and Keith entered. He didn't feel like hanging around in the hallway. Mythology was an interesting subject. Upon entering, he noticed the sentence written across the chalkboard.
Keith calmly took his seat as he had his long black hair tied into a bun with two chopsticks holding it in place. He had on his black shades to hide his eyes. This should be an interesting class, Keith enjoyed reading and researching various myths. Mythology was an umbrella term because there were various mythologies such as Greek Mythology, Chinese Mythology, African Mythology, Native American Mythology, etc. It was a pretty fascinating subject.
But what was really fact and myth? Nobody could really tell that. He preferred mythology over reality any day of the week at the moment. With what's going on the world today, reality fucking sucks ass. But that's another story.
Calmly, Keith sat in his seat and waited for the class to start.

Mitsuki would, usually, be one of the last students to come to class, considering she was school captain, and had to stop fights going on in the halls. But not this time; actually, she was probably one of the first. Why? Because mythology - aside from English - was her favorite - would be her favorite - class. That, and the fact that she didn't feel like dealing with anyone today. Her hands were wrapped in some sort of cloth, due to the crazy man who was training her; her brother totally freaked when he saw the disfigured palms, and, like a caring brother would, ran all the way to the pharmacy just to buy ointment for her. Not really; he went to buy ice cream, and the pharmacy was on the way there, so...
Anywho, upon entering, she saw an introduction on the board.
Welcome to Mythology, I am Mr. King, please take your seats.
Well, it said to take their seats, so Mitsuki chose one in the middle, next to the window. She did notice one other person in the room, but because Mitsuki didn't really bother to look around, she failed to notice that he was the one who she faught a while back.

Oh goodie, a grand total of two students.
He thought to himself, he picked up the mean red little Cthulhu plushie and placed it back on his desk in such a manner that any student that would walk in, would be greeted by his anger. As per, the bell was about to ring, just like clockwork. Boy, the kids that walk in late were going to wish they hadn't. They'll be prime targets for plastic toys. Like pikachu, and battlebots.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1,
Brrriiiinnng!
"That's the bell kiddies. Now since I'd like to know who's in my class, you'll each be filling out a little survey. Of course your late brethren will be filling out the survey too. This is a justice issue, why can they be late and get away with it, and you be here on time, at your own pain eh? Well they won't get away with it, I assure you. I'm going to make Mythology their most difficult class."
As he was speaking, he walked away from his front desk, to the back desk and retrieved a short stack of papers. Somewhere around twenty or so. He gave one to each lucky student that had showed up on time. The late comers, would also get one as they arrived.
"Notice that on the survey, there is a list of things you'll need for this course. A notebook, colored pencils, a pen, and your brain. As you can see, I'm a mythos collector, I have two Cthulhu plushies, and I'd like to see what other kinds of creature plushies I get. It's entirely up to you, but there will be ten points extra credit tacked on to your final grade."

Brrrriiiiingggggg!!!
Chi was late for class. Just lovely. And it wasn't even her fault either. She had been minding her own business at her locker, grabbing her books for her newest class, Mythology. Frowning, she picked up the pace of her walking, her pink miniskirt swishing from side to side with her quick steps. "I already told you no." She argued, slightly out of breath from rushing to class.
And who was the quarrel with? It wasn't the president of the math club (though he'd tried asking her out once), it wasn' the spirit commity (she'd quit that once everything had started happening)...it was the Vasity Captain, and he was doing a good job of keeping up with her. Sigh..Chi approached the door, a man's wafting out from the classroom to meet her ears. "Notice that on the survey, there is a list of things you'll need for this course...." Class had already been started. Great. Bowing her head, she muttered an appology as she went to take her seat.

Another day, a new semester, the same old problem to deal with. Aureus was rushing down the hallway, following Chihiro who he just so happened to share the next class with. It was Mythology, a class he'd been looking forward to all year. Myths were basically epic soap operas, minus the bad acting and shoddy plot lines. There was always some sort of action, and they were the best recognized stories of the ancient world. What wasn't there to love about them? Regardless, the Pillar's focus was on the present as he followed the dark haired beauty to the class.
"You've gotta be kidding me, Chi! You still haven't gotten over this?!" He semi-shouted at her, thinking better of it directly after. "...Uhh...not that it wasn't a big deal, but still! I don't see why you can't forgive yourself and face this with me," Aureus argued, acting like a total fool. It was amazing how Chi was able to wash away any sort of logic he possessed at the worst of times. What the fuck is wrong with you? Why don't you just give up?! 'S only half the battle my friend. Yeah, but you're doing it kinda backwards... ...
"Oh yeah! Why is it you started wearing skirts again?" The Junior asked as they both strolled into the classroom. He wasn't really paying any attention to the teacher or the other students. Pulling up a seat next to his ex-girlfriend, he looked over at her, awaiting an answer. Never mind the fact it wasn't the time or place...

"Is that how you enter a classroom child? Do us all a favor, stand outside until you've cooled off, and then come back in. Next time you come in late, it's detention, and you won't like it. Either of you."
Mr. King was addressing the boy who came in all loudlike of course. He paced the front of the room, and then placed a survey on the girl's desk whom just walked in late. He rolled his eyes and sighed. things hardly ever got better at this school. It was a wonder why he was still here.
"Next time you come in here late miss, you'll be outta luck."
He said to her after he put the paper on the desk. He went back to the leather chair and took a seat, removing his hat, and taking up the red plushie. He sighed again and got up to write on the blackboard with some nice light blue chalk. Right under his greeting.
Unit one: Norse Mythology
"For those of you that had missed what I just said, there's a list of things you'll need for this course. Just the basics. It's right on your survey. Now, we'll be doing Norse mythology for the first two weeks, following that we will do Roman, then Greek, then Egyptian. Then modern Mythos. Such as the Lovecraftian mythos. Follow? Any questions?"

Turning to the teacher, Aureus' tone dropped the semi-enthusiasm it had possessed when he spoke to Chi. Instead it was the usual, even, reckless tone that everyone had come to expect from him. "Sorry about that...Mr. King" The boy started, leaning to the side to catch the man's name. "But if I leave this classroom, I'm not coming back. As interesting as your class is, I have bigger things to deal with at the moment. However, I can put those on hold if you'd kindly continue with your lesson," The Pillar finished, the glasses he was wearing catching the room's overhead light, shielding his eyes.

Mr. Pillar sort of sucks at being a good example to other students.[/color] That was her initial thought when he distrupted class by doing his own thing and not paying attention. As a pillar, he's supposed to set a good example to the rest of the students, and sadly, he was doing a poor job at it. Personal issues and business should be kept for outside of school. No one wants to know the drama goin-...oh wait, nevermind. Who wouldn't want juicy information about that "cute" pillar having girl problems?
Gossipgossipgossipgossipgossipgossip..
Ah, whatever; let him learn the hardway to keep things confidential. And seriously, if he had more important things to do than come to class, then get the hell out, Jesus Christ...
She was having second thoughts on her decision of pillars.
Flipping open her notebook, she wrote down at the top in her neat handwriting;
Unit one: Norse Mythology

Oh this is just fine and dandy...
Keith observed the classroom and noticed that he was in the same classroom as the Varsity Captain Aureus, the School Captain Mitsuki, and that one girl he met by either coincidence Chihiro Amuri. It was a little too close for comfort since Keith was sitting behind Chihiro who in turn was sitting next to Aureus. It seemed they were dating or something and possibly having relationship problems, Keith didn't know nor was he going to ask.
It was a pretty interesting encounter with all three of them. There was the match with Aureus and that one person in the hallway in which Keith witnessed. There was the School Captain that Keith met, they fought, and Keith ended up choking her out to the bring of unconsciousness. And finally there was Chi who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time when Keith was getting confronted by those Klansmen.
What a very interesting class it was going to be.
Keith calmly and coolly raised his hand.
"Two questions, sir," the Asian student said with his English accent. "How in-depth are we going into the various mythos? And are we going to be covering any Asian mythos?"
It was already established that the first part was going to be Norse Mythology. Keith happened to find that one to be very interesting. He wanted to enjoy the class. But he hoped that Chihiro and Aureus would keep their cool.
However, Keith had to admit that he did find Chihiro very attractive. And lucky for him, he was sitting right behind her.

"Is that how you enter a classroom child? Do us all a favor, stand outside until you've cooled off, and then come back in. Next time you come in late, it's detention, and you won't like it. Either of you."
Chi had pretty much expected to get into a bit of trouble for being late, but she hadn't meant for her and Aureus to bring their quarrel into the actual classroom. The boy just didn't know when to shut up. The junior cringed, worried that he was talking to the both of them for a moment before Mr. King sat a survey in front of her. He had been talking to Aureus, well, it served him right...and yet, at the same time her petty victory seemed ill gotten. "Next time you come in here late miss, you'll be outta luck."
"Yessir, I'm sorry." Chihiro replied, reachign into her bag for her notebook and pen, opening her notebook on her desk and writing down the words he had written on the board. Norse Mythology, huh? Chi had always been interested in folklore, her grandmother had told her that every myth and story was based on a bit of truth. It had to come from somewhere, right? As the teacher asked if they had any questions before getting started into todays lessons, a voice spoke up from behind her, and Chi turned back momentarily to see the Asian boy she had met on two occasions. First at the parking garage where they'd fought the klansmen, and then at the jazz club a few days or so ago. She offered a quick smile in recognition before turning back to her notebook, throwing a glance in Aureus' direction where he sat. For a pillar he sure didn't care to follow orders very much.

BBBBBBBBRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
SHITFUCK!
I'm late... to one of my first classes. Way to make myself seem all that and a bag of chips...
Shit, shit shit shit shit shit.
Arriving quite late, he opened the door meekly and walked in.
Sorry, Teach... I uh... I have no real good excuse. I blame it on Bush.
He walked back towards a mid-row seat and sat, awaiting the verbal punishment the teacher was bound to give.
God damn, how could I be so stupid, miss the first class of the day...

"We'll only cover Asian Mythos if we get there. If you catch me, we're working in a timeline here. Norse, yadda yadda, to Lovecraftian. If we have enough time at the end of the semester, we'll go into Chinese Mythos, but that's probably as far as we'll go. As for how in depth? That is up to you."
Some kid came barreling into the room, late.. and muttering that it was Bush's fault. He rolled his eyes and pointed at a desk. He'll get his survey when Mr. King felt like giving it to him. However he did acknowledge his apology, and the girl's apology as well.
The nerve of these kids these days.
"Granted.. Mr. Hayes, that this is an elective, and you don't have to take this course, like math, or science. It was your choice to take this class. I'll leave it at that. Now are you sure I can proceed with my lesson? Or do you and the young miss still have things to work out?"
He looked rather annoyed. He hadn't even started his class, and a pillar was trying to walk all over him with his astounding ego and sense of things-to-do.

Yeah, there was definitely a lot to cover in mythology class. He returned Chi's smile. The thought crossed his mind about asking Chihiro out on a date after class in order to get to know her better. He had to admit, she was pretty cute. Then he saw another student come in late.
Well, what do you know? It was Justin, a student in his computer class. Seemed that he was going to be in this class as well. This was going to be pretty damn interesting. And then Keith watched carefully as Mr. King addressed the Varsity Captain and Chihiro.
"Granted.. Mr. Hayes, that this is an elective, and you don't have to take this course, like math, or science. It was your choice to take this class. I'll leave it at that. Now are you sure I can proceed with my lesson? Or do you and the young miss still have things to work out?"
C'mon, let's just start the lesson out already...
Keith wanted to learn more about Thor, Loki, Odin, Asgard, Ragnarok, etc. He enjoyed reading and research various myths and such. They made for interesting stories and movies. Keith calmly waited for the teacher to continue the lesson.

If one took into account what exactly Aureus had been going through the last month, it would be easy to see that his priorities were deadlocked. He didn't have the patience to put up with other people's shit, and Levi's attitude was starting to rub off on him. "Ya know, I just said that. So, lets get started shall we?" The Pillar asked the man, ignoring all the looks being thrown at him, except for the one from Chi which he returned with a simple nod.
From the moment he walked into the room, Aureus had been mentally noting what Mr. King was saying about the course, as it was a habit of his. After all, he was interested in the subject matter. And so he would continue that noting when the lecturing finally began. He noticed he was missing the survey, but didn't really care. It probably wasn't anything important.
