Taking A Break

[John]

((Based before A Brother?!.))

John Ong, one of the S.H.C.P. Yeah thats how he was known at 259, not as a person, no one really knew what he was like, no one had spent enough time with him, except maybe one person, but he was drunk at the time. Which made him more loose and open to others. Luckily he hadn't seen that girl since then, so he was fine with that.

White hair, red eyes, the usual clothing added with a pair of gloves and a red trench coat. Yeah John was pretty spiffy today as he slugged his way around town, till he finally found a nice spot in the courtyard to just lay down and rest under a tree. so as he fell to the ground froma standing position he just about lost conciouseness, that was of course until he hit the ground and felt pain. He coughed from the loss of air, but he didn't care, it was comfurtable. Maybe today he would just take a break and sleep.

So Chi and Aureus were back together, Chi couldn't be happier...and yet at the same time she was still guilty. She didn't show Aureus because he wanted her to forget about it. He forgave her completely...and yet, he had no idea just how Karel had effected her.

To combat these feelings tormenting her mind, Chi had taken up running. It got her into shape and let her expell her troubled emotions in a physical way. She made her way through a patch of trees, pink ipod in her hand and earbuds in her ears, her long ponytail swinging side to side with each step. Coughing from exertion, the dark haired girl stopped by a tree, resting her hand against the rough bark as she tried to catch her breath, unaware of the boy resting beneath it just to the side of her.

[John]

John had heard someone run up to the tree and opened one blood red eye. turning his head to see who it was, it just so happened to be that girl from the bar. Well coincadence was he had just been thinking about that night. So to get her attention he would raise his hand and wave it a bit. Hopefully it would be seen before she ran off. If that was the case he would grab he ankle, sure he wasn;t thinking she may be messed up in the head and freak out kicking him and stuff, but thats just how John was. And fi he remembered correctly he threatened her about what would happen if they met outside of the bar.

The junior caught sight of a gesture out of the corner of her eye, and she glanced down, breathings till ragged from running, a grin crossing her face. "John?" She inquired curiously, leaning around the tree to get a better look at him. The last time he had seen him was at the bar after her first confrontation with Karel. She had gotten drunk off her ass and ended up laughing the whole matter off in a drunken stupour while throwing things into shotglasses, or thworing shotglasses...she couldn't quite remember. "How've you been?"

[John]

John kicked himself up from a laying position to sitting and scooted back against the tree. He stretched a bit and looked to chi in his 'cool' manner with one eye and then closed it again facing straight out. Not that he was being an ass hole, but this was his regular mannerism, when he wasn't so fucking drunk he couldn't hit a dart board standing two feet from it. but he did answer, since well chi was the only person that had actually 'met' him. The real him that he always hid when in public.

"I've been doing good. Kinda bored really. How about you?"

What was this? Actual concern in the voice of the hard ass? Well that was only because he also 'knew' Chi, not all that well, but he knew there was a very important reason she was drinking away her sorrows that night.

Chi took in a deep breath at his question, exhaling before replying. "I'm..good." She replied with a smile, though if he was good at reading a persons character, he would read into the fact that things weren't as good as she said. She had a lot of things to work through still, having to do with what they had talked about that night at the bar, but far worse than it had been that night. No one but Karel, and now the freshman girl to a degree, Rasha, knew what exactly happened. She couldn't tell Aureus, as much as he wanted to fogrive her for everthing, there were just some things she just couldn't...she couldn't... "Heh...it's, uh, been while, huh?"

[John]

'Whatever. . . Not my business. I dont want to get involved.'

John did notice that Chi wasn't telling the truth, it was written all over that she was trying to get things out fo her head, and following the path fo the regular every day conversation with an old acquantence. She was hesitent, and that laugh was so fake. It almost actually got to John, but he didn't let it. He had no friends, he is a cold ruthless fighter. . . He needs no one.

"It has been a long time. . . Your lying."

Well John didn't want to get involved, and he didn't want friends, but Chi had already gotten far enough under that protective berrier for John to actually show consurn, which in its self if one has seen him around school, is amazing. And he also wasn't one to be less than subtle, straight forward is usually his nature. john didn;t ask whats wrong yet, but maybe he didn;t have to.

An actual smirk crossed the juniors features at his comment and she crossed her arms, leaning against the tree. "You're right." She admitted, shrugging her shoulders slightly. "Am I that obvious?" She frowned thoughtfully, flipping through the songs in her ipod for something to do. "So...what've you been up to since our last encounter?" She asked, fully aware that she was jumping through subjects, but it didn't really matter, she liked talking to John.

[John]

John kept his eyes closed and listened to what seh said, he was also fully aware that she wasn't looking at him and only nodded whens he asked if she was that obviouse. Though Chi skipped the subject so john let it go for now. He heard her next question and opened his eyes, both of those ruby colored eyes would look at her. A serious look on his face.

"I've been hurting people."

But that wasn't all was it? Thats right. . . that change he made, finding his pride, finding his honor.

"I. . . I've been planning how to destroy Asiv."

[chihiro]

"Really now? Impressive.." She replied to his planning to destroy Asiv. She wasn't too fond of the man, especially since the incident with driver's ed. It would be nice, and entertaining, to see the psychotic man fall.

"How do you plan to do that, if you don't mind my asking?" She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side sligthly, her ponytail falling over her shoulder from the movement. It was alright if he refused to answer that, afterall the best way to get you enemies was when they didn't know it was coming. Telling someone of you plan could easily ruin things, but she was simply curious.

[John]

That was just it John had learned from recent activities that Asiv was too curious for his own good, and it could be used against him. Make him believe something that isn't true, something that will cause him to be too surious to do anything seriousely and then pull out all the stops.

"First I need to be more powerful than I am right now. But when the time comes, I will use my abilities to take away all the hot air, leaving him with only cold air. This may sound odd because you've probably never seen him fight, but he uses hot air to explode when he attacks, so no hot air, means no explosions."

Chi hadn't had any experience fighting Mr Asiv, so she didn't know anything about his Qi ability. In fact, the entire Qi idea was a bit foggy to her, seeings that she didn't have one of her own. "So that's his Qi?" She asked curiously, a thoughtful expression in place. "It should be interesting how you'll find to remove the hot air..it's already late spring, there's warm everywhere." She noted, sitting down in the shade of the tree in a smooth leg crossing motion.

She removed her earbuds, wrapping them around her ipod. It was nice talking to John, he was a good source of no nonsense, strategy oriented conversation...a thought crossed her mind. "How is your training going?"

[John]

John smiled when she spoke about how he would take away all the hot air. It wasn't a happy smile, more of a 'I'll show you.' smile. Cocky and full of pride. But her next question made him raise his left arm and extend it forward. His eye glowed a dark red as he began to be able to see the hydrogen in the air, once a particle brushed up against his arm, he used his aura to ingite it and wiht that his arm went up in flames fromt he elbow down to the tips of his fingers. And this was a pretty large flame considering. Then he spoke.

"My training has been productive."

If that wasn't an understatement he didn't knwo what was. He was able to put his body on fire, but so far only on one body part and only his arms or legs. Also he could only hold it for short periods of time as he could burn himself with the fire.

Chi's eyes widened at his show, Aureus could make fire in his hands, but that was because of the gloves he wore. John seemed to be doing it all on his own. "Impressive." She noted, giving him a nod of approval. "I don't have a Qi to speak of, so it must be quite different fighting with Qi than normal fighting, hai?" She asked, pressing her lips together thoughfully once the words left her mouth.

"If I'm bothering you or anything with my questions, just let me know.."

[John]

"Hahaha hai."

John replied. Ok so he laughed, you can't blame him, could you? Of course um. . . Hes never really laughed, um. . . Ever. But he was actually just hanging out with, dare he say. A friend? Well so john has his first friend, how cute. But he put the fire out quickly as it got too hot for him to keep on his arm, even fore the fire proof jacket. so placing the hand down on the grass to let it cool off he would reply to her second statement.

"No, questions are good. You dont get anywhere unless you ask questions. But somethign has been bothering me for a while. For those of us who work for Asiv we have a specific order. 'Do not touch Chihiro Amuri under any sircumstance.' Do you have any idea why?"
