Roth would pass by Jaus slowly, the boy still subtly on edge knowing well enough that some fighters were dirty after all and use some of these moments to their own advantage as they took that sucker punch but it would seem as though Roth was not one of these fellows taking to walk by him without even stopping to consider such an act. Jaus tucked his head down for but a moment and nodded proceeding up shortly after and taking flight up the stairs managing to make his way to the top and position himself opposite of his current sparring partner.
"Your move."
Seems as thought eh ball was in his corner, a calm look as he jostled back and forth in a boxing motion his hands angled upwards to his chest and tucked in progressively while his legs bent and bounced at the knees making him a fair bit springy. While his ordinary fighting style was more revolved around the ground and pound as well Jaus liked to incorporate a fair amount of boxing into his style.
Leaning inward Jaus would come off his right foot, the left taking position closest to Roth before undercutting a jab with his left hand to Roth's chin. Quickly recoiled if not seized Jaus would follow up with a right to the cheek. The man liked going for facials.....hurrhurrhurr.

Right back on the prowl. Roth liked Jaus in that aspect. Simple words and right back to the brawl. Roth would bend a bit with his hand relative to his chest with open hands. He wanted Jaus to get close, even if he would take damage in the process. Roth's feet were balanced, but leaning on his toes to go forward. Jaus came in close, perfect. Roth expected a punch and went to block his face. But he was't expecting an uppercut. Roth would take the full force of the punch right to the chin. With his weight shifted to his front Roth would avoid having to step back. Now the Arrogant Warrior was on the move for himself. Roth's bent body would move a step or two forward wrapping his arms around Jaus's abdomen. His fingers would cup together as well. There would be a right jab that would come, not hitting Roth in the face, but the pinky knuckle colliding along the top of Roth's head. Didn't matter right now though. Roth's mission was to launch up with his strength and take Jaus with him a Belly to Belly Suplex. A tad flashy, but if really got the job done well. Considering all went smoothly Jaus would fly through the air and slam down to the floor on his back. Capitalizing on that initial shock of impact Roth would move quickly to face Jaus and give a small jump in the air aiming to slam both knees into his face. But there was always the chance it wouldn't work. If Jaus was able to counter Roth, or push him away fast enough then there was no doubt he would be open for an attack. At the least Roth would try to step back and get into a boxing style stance.

It worked a bit faster than Jaus had ever experienced, while the fighters he'd been matched up with before were much more of the brutal heavy hitting fighters Roth was beginning to surprise Jaus a bit. And as he went around his gut settling arms around him and snatched the boy up into the suplex Jaus could only react accordingly. Chances were there were better ways to counter but he wasn't at his prime as far as quick thinking went. Raising his arms up above his head Jaus would defensively dull a small portion of the impact upon falling face first into the ground.
Something later he performed by rolling out on the other end, which certainly looked cooler in his head but in reality was just him stumbling like a drunken manic getting his coordination under control. His right hand placed to the wall and balance allotted he'd turn back to Roth poised in his own boxing position.
Note to self not to underestimate the flashy ones. He felt he had to remind himself of this on constant occasions once more jostling forward on his left foot making a hesitant jab with a rap of the left knuckles poised at Roth's cheek. Upon retrieving said blow Jaus would buckle a kick from the left foot into the hamstring of Roth's leading foot hoping the force would apply pressure onto the earlier injuries or even simply knock him off his feet.

Roth moved after Jaus's little trip though the air. Turning around he found his opponent already back to his feet. Smooth. Roth would take in boxing like stance and wait for Jaus to move in once again. This was one part of what the SLF stood for. The freedom to allow students to test one another in friendly competition.
Roth waited for Jaus's strike, luckily he didn't have to wait too long. He came in with a jab aimed right for Roth's face. With jolt of Roth's arm he would block the strike with his own right fore arm, but he would shift the arm back into place. Instead Roth would move in getting as close as he could to launch an elbow to the jaw of Jaus.
Then came the kick. Roth didn't expect that and would take the blow right above his knee. The kick itself didn't hurt, but the vibrations of pain would shoot down to his ankle. Not enough to put him down, but just enough to make him angry.
Roth would slip down a bit from the pain in his ankle, but this set an opportunity. Roth's head would bash into Jaus's abs. After that impact Roth would shoot out a left jab for the same space. One of the best things to do while fighting was find an area and go to hell on it. Jaus had found Roth's ankle, and now Roth had found Jaus's core.

Jaus would have rolled with the kick in the attempt to apply as much force as possible, in doing so he curled himself entirely to mirror Roth's position. The man now knelt over into a head butt forward Jaus' arm would loop around the man's exposed neck and apply force into his Adam's apple curling his fist upwards till his right hand would grip around the closed palm and pull upwards enough to lift the man off the ground if he was affirmatively against standing upright.
Applying a strong stance Jaus' left foot would split between Roth's feet and bring his shoulder across and over Roth's head as to displace the weight of both himself and his foe to constitute what he felt was nearly counter proof. Then again nothing in war is absolute. This was merely a show of strength and wit in battle. For the future perhaps. [[ooc: short post fail ><

And just when he feet were starting to get tired. Roth ducked low for his headbut. He would make impact but right after his neck would be surrounded by Jaus's fingers. His hand engulfing around Roth's neck. This guy was a lot stronger then he originally thought. Then again that's the way it usually went down for Roth. Make the challenge and find out your opponent can break you in five place. Then again, Survivability.
Roth's body crept into the air as Jaus defined his foot. That was about two-hundred thirty pounds in Jaus's hand. He could do it, but Roth wondered for how long. Roth's hand would clasp onto his opponent's forearm. This wasn't to break free, but for leverage. Roth would pull up his weight and swing his left foot into the air. Depending on Jaus's angle the leg might have gone noticed.
It wasn't coming in for a kick however, no. Roth's leg would shoot above the head of Jaus. Instead of a kick Roth's left leg would hang over his opponent's right shoulder. The with a sudden powerful jerk Roth would snap the leg back into Jaus's own neck. The attempt here was to bring him down with the impact and move into an arm bar. With his hand on the arm and his leg in place Roth would start stretching back on the ground, or still int the air.
Two holds in place. It was going to be Roth's lungs or Jaus's arm. One of these two was going to have to give out soon. When the unstoppable force meets the immovable object somethings gotta give. At this point Roth may have to give soon as he could feel the force on his neck and the desperation for air.

Bam
A sudden contact with his neck forced the uneasy balance of Jaus' weight forward giving Roth back his feet he'd been neglected something of which would give the man a small measure more of leverage when put to work with the grip of the forearm. However Jaus was unmoved by the blow as far as his grip around the throat. Instead it moved him only to buckle down on the grip pilling harder upward with his right thumb tucking up into the hand and pulling it skyward.
"You fight pretty good, but without air even the strongest fighters are out for the count."
Jaus gritted his teeth pulling upwards harder mostly with his knees bent to put a bit more force into it. He'd be stupid to be lifting with his back after all.

Well, that wasn't very effective. This guy was something else. He was above Roth in the aspect of strength and even speed. But there was something about him. Something he hadn't seen before in a long time. It took Roth a moment but he realized that Jaus's moves were ultimately basic. Punches, a hold here and there, and now just a strangulation with impressive strength behind it. He lost for now, but he would save this information for later.
"Alright. You win, I give."
Roth's mumbled words would escape just clearly enough to get that much information to Jaus. Was there a few ways left Roth could've gotten out? Absolutely, but there was no sense bringing in excessive force in a spar such as things counting the things to come. Jaus had the upper hand and Roth would quit for now.
He would expect to be dropped where Roth would land on one knee slowly rising to meet his formidable opponent and ally. A hand would outstretch to him with a goofy cocky smile despite the loss.
"Good win Jaus. Next time I won't give that easy."
He would hold his hand out for only a while for Jaus to shake it. He didn't have all day however. There were still things to do, people to see, and classes to attend. Perhaps this would be the friendliest end to a fight Roth had ever been a part of.

"Alright. You win, I give."
Jaus would grin letting his arm off from around Roth's neck taking a step back and letting himself take a deep winded breath, not that he was at all winded being the fairly enduring sort but he did so as an expression of favorable teamwork, Roth was after all a great fighter at his specific trade. He'd never seen a fighter with as much guts as him dish out such a fight, if anything at all he had made an impression on Jaus.
His hand extended in unison of the moment taking in his hand into a bro sort of hug and patting him on the back. A show of brotherhood to an extent joining in the laughter with a slight chuckle.
"Good win Jaus. Next time I won't give that easy."
"Yeah good match, and I bet."
He'd laugh his fair share before patting down his wobbling legs and standing upright. Anyways no need for awkward standing about as the two were bros and good fighters now. He'd firmly grin settling aside.
"Aight, I gotta head out...next time."
With a lazy wave Jaus would stride off his hands placed at the back of his neck. Yeah good, he found a fun person to combat against, he'd all but lost his drive to do battle up till now. Sparked once again.
