A letter would find its way into the mailbox of a certain teacher whose name and location had generally been offsite- at least so far in as he knew. The man and him had been at odds so many times in the past, yet with his Graduation today, he would take his step from college (Which he had miraculously finished in two years- summa cum laude) and into the role that was designated him. One he hadn't anticipated, yet stood in highest esteem.
Meet me in the Newly crafted Dojo. It's been too long since we had ourselves a bout- Got to make sure your keeping up on your game.

He waited, casted in a sleeveless muscle shirt and shorts, a couple water bottles and warranted sneakers. Sitting against the bleachers, he checked the clock on the wall. Gabriel had always been one for punctuality. Five minutes to do, if he had even received the message. David cracked his neck, moaning a little at the feeling. He wondered if Gabriel would be ok with the laws and rules he would put forth....only time would tell, he supposed.

It would have been a long time since he'd stepped in the halls of public high school 259, though apparently not long enough. The contemptible Mr. Seran would have just returned from an extended honeymoon with his beloved only to arrive to a school constantly entrenched in chaos. Though he had his part to play in that as well, his hand stacked and cards played on the field face down and out of sight of the unobservant man so to speak. Did that mean that the conspiring teacher was done with this school? Certainly not he'd played this game for several years now and always had a new trick up his sleeves to curb the outcome.
He'd approach the academic offices and come upon his own catching a glimpse of the piled up mail left for a month or so on end without release. Bills, notices, etc etc. All left to bore him entirely with the constant reprisal of ordinary lifestyles. Of course walking inside h'd take little notice of the envelopes passing up Blazes without much regard. The boy was probably wanting to instigate another bustle between the two men. He was less than interested, years of combating with the estranged rival had proven no fruits of his own other that his significant strength and influence. David had played his part in the story of Gabriel Seran and played it to the note nothing more than a stepping stone to greatness as it would be written. Regardless Gabriel opened it to humor his own interests reading it over with a stark disposition.
As predicted, the boy wanted a bit of a tussle, perhaps Gabriel was reading a bit too much into this but he foretold something else. Perhaps the shoe was on the other foot now as David predictably wanted something more of Gabriel. They'd have to see how things played out as the Ex-Aethreal Dragon now stood on the other side of the shore.

Gabriel would show, punctual? Perhaps it all was dependant upon when the letter was sent perhaps Gabriel was showing weeks late but he showed nonetheless. Dressed as usual not according to a quick sparring fight but rather his casual attire. Black jeans, a dark navy shirt and jogging shoes, though of course the one thing stood out as well. The steel grated suitcase dangling from his grip.
He'd wait however at the base of the bleachers if David still remained there awaiting his position as it were, eyes watching however lips shut. It'd be a singular instant where Gabriel didn't open up his position with mocking inquiry. Perhaps simply because, he was holding all the cards. Rules or not, Gabriel made all the rules.
