So this is just my opinion of the Super Bowl which just so happened yesterday feel free to debate.
So Everyone knows I'm a huge Steeler fan if you don't you know now. And they just so happened to be against the Packers who don't rate so huge on my scale of teams but they are a good team overall not to mention getting there takes a lot of skill to begin with. The game as a whole was disappointing to me, the Steelers didn't bring their A game, I felt as though their Defensive Backs were just waiting around for nothing hoping the ball would just land in their hands and just weren't aggressive as they could have been. Offense, again Mendenhall I am greatly disappointed in, never been a huge fan of him but seeing as he is starter this year I should give support, but I just don't like his style he's no Parker or Bettis thats for sure. The boy has some runs but overall was a liability as the Packers shut him down constantly for loss of yards overall. Passing game was decent to great as Antoine Randle El and Hines Ward totally stepped it up to get good yards but as usual Rothlisberger dropping the ball. He stays in the pocket for too long and is much much better after he gets out of there. I feel like he's trying to be like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady and he's just not. Good QB overall just different style.
Packers, I don't know the players too well but Aaron Rodgers did an amazing job. Great arm firing bullets constantly throughout the game definitely the best way to shut down the Defense. Don't give them time to rush him cuz he can just fire down the field quickly. There was a great receiver as well who was great don't rmbr his number though or name.
Thoughts of the game?
My favorite part was 3rd quarter, best of both teams I think. Steelers were going no huddle and rushing into each play, Packers were fighting hard for each yard. Other than that the game was somewhat lethargic from what I saw. Close game, Goodish game. Packers came to win and they earned it.
