Up till you're going down It was hard getting used to the early mornings after a long break point, she'd gotten accustomed to the long mornings where she could literally roll over in bed until the noon sun rolled into perspective but seeing as it was school season now she had no excuse. This morning she got up a bit earlier than usual, a ringing headache from the lack of coffee she'd had over the past month. Yet again another vexing thing about changing schedules. Now as she wasn't getting up as early there was no draw to get coffee, no coffee meant she was getting caffeination hangovers all day and all week. Caffeination hangovers meant, Raging bitch.
Rubbing her open palm over her skull Jayr trudged into school managing to walk the main halls once over and possibly twice, the fact that things were looking double right now and light leaving its strained effects on her temples certainly wasn't helping things at all. Seconds persisted and she'd take a long draw of her coffee making sure that not a drop was wasted in her attempts to be cured of this passing disease.
Walking again she'd continue till stopping at the door of the class, idly she'd wait there considering whether to finish out here while in the dark lapse of the door or walk into a loud classroom where a teacher might automatically bicker or strike up conversation, either of which was unwarranted seeing as noise yet again another stifling cause to her current hangover.
When suddenly of course the door would part of its own accord tipping into Jayr's coffee and spilling it onto the floor lucky enough not to leave gapping marks on her brand new jeans. All the same she'd be alight with furry, hands balled viciously and shaking trying to restrain herself from letting forth a swath of vengeance upon the Coffee crushinator.

OOC: I couldn't resist. After so many times of doing this to you...
IC: Awesome book is awesome~
*ahem* sorry.
Resident glowing boy extraordinaire was, for once, taking a break from bully-beatdowns, hot-wiring electric systems, and all around havoc on people to read a book. Which he normally did to kill time at school. At the moment, the book he was reading was very absorbing, and since he was all alone, he didn't pay much attention to anything as he didn't need to. As such, he was still reading his book when he pushed open the door with his foot.
*splash!*
Orion heard a noise. Moved the book away to look at the ground. Blink at the spilled coffee. He only knew one person who drank coffee that black...
Looked up at the pissed Jayr. Oh, shit.
"Uhm... Buy you another one?"

Foot in the Door Oh shit was right as Jayr Byrne stood now on the edge of insanity, despite all meager modes of control she was there writhing in a sense of focused pain trying to abate the anguish at her lost coffee. If there was ever a demon within it was showing now. Hands gripped tightly in bound force, body quivering and gone pale white, her very eyes once showing a bright blue now hovered over a dark opaque creepiness.
*smoosh*
Between her palms would be the foam cup quickly folding in upon itself with a soaking, creaking, crunch. Her neck would turn, eyes narrowing in on Orion the glowing boy with a stare that Superman would have cringed away in fear at. Lips tightly pursed would begon to part as if to speak some atrocious curse that no one would suspect of the otherwise peaceful Jayr, or perhaps for those Harry Potter nerds the dementors kiss of death to steal the boy's very soul away.
"Uhm... Buy you another one?"
She'd lighten up her grip, eyes still level with him but returning to a more human form, more color regenerated in her skin and a levity on her clasping hands as the parted lips would close again this time gathering moisture and licking her lips slowly as a gesture of focusing, channeling that rage that was still buried in her throat.
"I think that would be appropriate."
A steely breath in her throat generated for but a second as she heaved there lightly swaying side to side awaiting for Orion to make the first move. She knew the trickster boy was fond of getting on her nerves perhaps he was just playing with her for but a moment to get a sick enjoyment out of her pain. Though there'd be no lasting peace here as if Jayr didn't get her coffee soon, she'd be ripping him a new one.

"I think that would be appropriate." "Right then. As obviously I have little care for school boundaries or rules, shall we go to a coffee shop halfway decent, away from here? TO STARBUCKS!"
Orion, while a prankster, could very easily see a line between mischief making and bullying. He also saw a line between Life and Death, and he was very close to crossing it in Jayr's current mood. With his announcement, he grabbed Jayr's arm (please allow the minor god-mod. It'll make stuff funny), and began sprinting to the parking lot, Jayr being dragged through mid-air behind him in anime fashion.
5 minutes later, since the hallway was pretty close to the entrance, Orion stopped right next to a car. Jayr finally hit the ground, after the both received quite a few stares as Orion had raced at his top speed through the hallways, which he normally doesn't do. Quite calmly, not even breaking a sweat from what he just did, Orion went around to the driver's seat, took out a set of keys, and opened the car. With that he climbed in, beckoning Jayr to do the same as he started the car up.

Like a Rag-Doll "Right then. As obviously I have little care for school boundaries or rules, shall we go to a coffee shop halfway decent, away from here? TO STARBUCKS!"
Leaning aback on her hips hands situated as such Jayr gave the mild stare. While she could normally tolerate and even take in the opportunity of good humor provided by Orion as he went about his activities, today was not one of her better days. She'd feel the sudden jerk as Orion ran by her and by association moved tugging her by the extended arm loop.
"Oof.."
She felt her body tugged along for the ride and essentially driven past a gratuitous number of eyes before being let go coming crashing into a car. Whoever's car it was she didn't particularly know all she knew was Orion looked a bit too young to drive.
"Orion I don't um....think this is a good idea.."
She'd hesitate lingering on the door all the while still feeling the chain effects of not having had caffeine in the last few hours. The headache starting to pound its way against her skull.
*thump thump THUMP THUMP*
The bells were notching before Jayr leveled herself finally sitting down and unconsciously shutting the door without a presence of understanding or judgement as to why.

"Orion I don't um....think this is a good idea.."
Orion grinned at her evilly when she had closed the door.
"Relax, you'll be perfectly safe. Now then, I advise you to buckle-up, as I left my driver's license at home and we need to out-run every police officer between here and Starbucks. The fact that it's fake is completely irrelevant at the moment. HOLD ON TIGHT!"
Switching the car to Drive, Orion let out a mad cackle as he floored the accelerator and shot out of the school grounds, pushing 80 MPH already and still accelerating.
After 5 minutes which mainly involved running every red light between Starbucks and 259, avoiding the scanners of the police by staying on the inside lanes, and very nearly hitting a few poor old ladies, Orion pulled the car to a halt in front of Starbucks, leaving a few tire marks on the ground in front of the shop. Sure, Orion was a good person, but he was a maniac behind the wheel. Orion turned with an evil glint in his eyes to Jane.
"That was fun. Now then, what did you want? I am paying."
He failed to notice that Jayr looked fearful for her life. Then again, so did anyone that happened to be driven by him. There was a very good reason why he was refused his learner's permit... which Orion promptly ignored and made his own license.

In the Rough "Relax, you'll be perfectly safe. Now then, I advise you to buckle-up, as I left my driver's license at home and we need to out-run every police officer between here and Starbucks. The fact that it's fake is completely irrelevant at the moment. HOLD ON TIGHT!"
It may have been the temporary coffee hangover she'd been suffering but she thought he said he didn't have a real licenese. Her head would slowly incline at an angle giving the boy behind the wheel a steady glare.
That was of course before the car jerked back in a sudden heave feeling as though the carrage had been yanked up from of its wheels. All the while the sudden jerk send her haid into her face forcing her into a strange strugglin, choking fit.
By the time she got her hair under control they'd already gotten there, no seatbelt of course as she'd been forced back into the seat verociously in its precarious spot.
"you do realize that if you'd have just gone at the speed limit you wouldn't have needed to outrun the police.
She didn't have a horrified grin, but rather at this point and extremely pissed off one. She wanted coffee now, there was little else that mattered even her own casualty. With a flurried motion she'd take a step out the car door slightly wobbling as she got out managing to regain her footing by applying a light arm on the door forcing it to slam.
"That was fun. Now then, what did you want? I am paying."
A frenzied look as she got to the counter quickly letting her hands sag over it, her body feeling weak and collapsing into the counter to a dramatic degree.

"Two large triple shot espressos"
Orion approached the counter calmly, as if nothing in the world happened. Then again, he did this a lot.
"And a chocolate chip frappuchino"
As Orion payed the bill with a wad of cash (he got money by beating up gangsters, like they would have credit cards), Orion inclined his head at Jayr.
"So tell me, how have things been for you? I see you have been negating to get your regular caffeine infusion."
At that point, the worker handed over their drinks, staring still at the tire marks, Orion, and Jayr's exhausted face. Orion took his and sipped it, grinning.
"Ah, the sweet taste of chocolate. Now then, did you have anything important to do at school? Because otherwise I don't feel like going back there today, and there's probably a lot of other things we can do. Such as planning how to recruit people to SLF. I mean, I could bribe students by telling them I could change their grades, which I can, but I don't think you want me doing that."
As he spoke, Orion quite calmly went over to his car and leaned on it. If someone looked closely, they would see that he was tensed, as if expecting something. Paranoia at it's finest.

In the Right "So tell me, how have things been for you? I see you have been negating to get your regular caffeine infusion."
Negating was a light way to refer to her situation, more along the lines of forgetting or being enormously overly busy to do anything aside from study, she could already feel the sudden bulge of pain surmise at the frontal temporal lobes of her skull.
"Yes caffeine has been a secondary priority as of late," She'd say with a bit of a waver to her voice, hands managing to come up to the sides of her head and would give herself a small massage around the temples. "Studying, traveling back home to visit my parents, you know the works."
She'd try to giggle however coming up short of that laugher only to hear the rumbling of her stomach and the painful lurch of her skill compact and feel a moment of uncouth appeal. Then but of course the drinks came and she was bolstered every sense of energy. Jumping up in her position she'd snatch up the coaster tray of drinks and snatching up the first of which gobbled down.
"Ahh ouch.
She'd say as the hot liquid burnt her lips. A hand moving up quickly to smother the burn spot and smiling innocently. The caffeine worked pretty damned fast as she was already feeling a meager bit more energetic.
Jayr would move quickly to a seat, the measure of patience she bought herself a moment as she sat channeling the moment of thought. She understood what he was saying but not liking it exactly, the SLF was never meant to be a means of manipulation apparently the message was lost in translation. It was meant as a pure means of bettering the school. Key word, pure.
"No, I won't have that Orion." She'd say in an entirely calm voice her hand cupping around the first of her many cups of coffee. "The Student Liberation Front isn't a gang," pausing for a moment she'd await for the right words to come to mind.
"Its a means for the students to change this school, so every entry should be of their own volition."

"No, I won't have that Orion. The Student Liberation Front isn't a gang," pausing for a moment she'd await for the right words to come to mind. Its a means for the students to change this school, so every entry should be of their own volition."
The caffeine did her good. Already she was starting to look a bit better. Orion moved away from his car and sat across from her.
"But of course. So then, for something like that, our best option would be to continue publicly announcing what SLF does like we have. However, there are still a few problems with that method, and with SLF in general so far."
Orion raised his left hand, one finger up, as he sipped his drink again.
"The first one is the most obvious. There has been violent disapproval of what we wish to do. It seems a bit counter-productive. Thankfully, from what I have learned, most of the SLF we have are top-notch fighters, and I have my own bag of tricks usable in the school so we can keep things under wraps. So while it's the most obvious, it is the most readily handled, and some students may see our counters to their disapproval as a show of force."
Orion's second finger raised.
"The second one is the more powerful people disapproving. From what we have seen, they are what lead to the the first problem. They, being some of the most well-known and strongest fighters in the school, are easily able to incur riots and gather people to go against us. In terms of this, I believe we are out-numbered and out-matched, and we shall need to address this problem immediately."
Orion third finger went up, as he took another sip of his drink, enjoying it.
"The third and final problem stems from what I have just said. From what I have seen and heard around school, there are only a few active members of SLF, and your the most-powerful as well as being the leader. Roth is the most public, but from what I can tell he is the weakest, and could end up in serious trouble with what he does. Finally, there's me, but as I have always done my own activities in the underground, people generally ignore my actions. While that frees me to do as I wish among the students without more then the normal amount of attention, it also means that I am the least public of SLF. That makes three people, along with any minor followers you have. There are far more then 3 major players in any other group, and you are the most powerful of ours."
Orion set down his drink and leaned back.
"Despite how powerful you are, however, there are still a couple of people stronger then you. And if you go down, you have no designated second-in-command, though I would obviously imagine it to be either Roth or myself. As such, we rely on you for quite a bit. Relying on one person is not safe or wise, so we need to fix that."
Orion picked back up his drink and began to sip at it again as he listened to what answers she would give.

Where do we Stand She'd listen, there was time to respond but it was not now, besides if Jayr was the one doing all the talking all this coffee was going to be put to waste. That simply could not do. Her eyes narrowed vindictively glaring at them all smoothly devising a plot as to which should become her victim first. Much like a hawk she'd pounce quickly indulging in the first as though it were thanksgiving and she had saved her appetite for the afternoon to eat.
The second however was different, by this point she'd gotten her base measure of caffeine in her system and handled the second cup less voraciously. In fact she indulged int he flavor this time, biding the warm feeling as it settled in her stomach even going to far as granting Orion a tender sort of smile to his accusations towards the SLF.
The first accusation, violent disapproval. It didn't seem so much like a problem as the last time the SLF's effort solved the problem in essence using brains over brawns hiding the secret strength of the SLF beneath the surface for that matter behind a veil and while that wouldn't be able to save them forever it was certainly a hard step forward in the right direction. As for legitimate fighters this much was true, the current make up of the SLF were refined sorts of fighters that could match most others in the current school on even footing if not for lack of raw ability.
As for the second she disagreed with entirely. It didn't matter the measure of power that opposed them in fact if anything that was a reason why they had to keep the SLF pursuing current efforts. It was the fact that the numbers of the supposed "weak or average" fighters and students to overthrow the power of the former hierarchy. As for the riots Jayr knew it wasn't the strongest that caused these riots but rather the unstimulated. It was those with no other purpose then to cause the riots. They weren't looking for reprisal of power but rather anarchy. So in the end they only gartered power by being acknowledged.
The third, a valid point but not what she wanted of this. At least not yet. The SLF hadn't been situated as a replacement for the pillar system just yet therefore it held no real power. They might have had controlling interest in the school but that meant nothing until the gate holders or at least the title was thrown down. As much as she considered a title to be nothing aside from the person who earned it, that wasn't how things worked in this school things were always about appearances.
"So what you want me to do is name a successor, establish a footing of structure is that right?
Jayr would reply with a cool response her eyes level on the coffee cup gripped in her hands. She could feel reflexes command that she should snap and crush the cup but it wouldn't be done. She had to think this through, granted there were many advances to a tightly structured government of sorts but to establish the measure this early without proper networks only set it up to fail.
"I'd like to hold a meeting before anything is decided, if any structure is to be established I need to be sure what needs to be done."

Orion was halfway done with his drink, and the ice still had yet to melt. That is quality drink right there.
"Fine by me. I have a place all set up, for whenever you need it. So... when will the meeting be? I need to double check and make sure everything is working. That, and make sure I don't have to make a convincing speech on the spot to rouse them to our cause."

Rousing A meeting, thats what Orion was excited about she was sure. A small inclining nod as he asked his question. However she'd be slow to reply still thinking over what possible implications both impeded her decision to start a meeting just yet or even so much as to the possible effects this meeting would have on some other people around school. It dictated a need to choose sides. While she didn't want to have to do that of course there'd be a need for a time and a place to decide that factor.
"Give me time to have a conversation with someone, theres some things I need cleared up before anything else."
Yet again another noncommittal answer, she knew it must have been getting quite annoying no doubt thats why she'd follow it up with yet another.
"Call me tomorrow, I'll have your number then and we'll plan something.... I'm sure you won't have a problem with getting a hold of my number as you've already snatched my phone on more than one occasion."
She'd reply with a ginger smile clearly turning about to hear a slight ruckus going on in the cafeteria though only partially committed to intervening.

"Give me time to have a conversation with someone, theres some things I need cleared up before anything else." "Can do."
Orion finished his drink and threw it at the trashcan, making it. He took his keys out of his pocket and went over to his car, opening the door.
"Call me tomorrow, I'll have your number then and we'll plan something.... I'm sure you won't have a problem with getting a hold of my number as you've already snatched my phone on more than one occasion." "Ah yes. I believe that in order to call you effectively, you'll need this. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go get 30 bucks off some gangsters by scaring the hell out of them with my car."
With that, Orion tossed Jayr's cell-phone at her, getting into his car, closing the door, starting it, and stamping on the accelerator, and left with a screeching of tires, all before Jayr caught her cell-phone.
This is why Orion was kicked out of auto...

Parting ways "Ah yes. I believe that in order to call you effectively, you'll need this. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go get 30 bucks off some gangsters by scaring the hell out of them with my car."
Jayr would be tossed her cell phone and with a snappy hand she'd reflexively snatch it clean out of the air and settle it in her pocket not entirely annoyed to have him toss it to her. A silent smile as she'd turn around and pocket it walking back down the halls.
