I'm an odd person to be sure. After I saw the trailer and some fight videos for this awesome game all I could think about was what entrance and victory quotes would the character from this board have? so...would anyone have an such quotes?

[Kazuya Hikari]

Yes, Kazuya totally would. I remember I did something similar to this, yeah, yeah, I'm a dork, I don't care.

Opening Animation 1 (Serious): Kazuya has his arms hanging loosely by his side, his eyes closed, before clenching both his fists and his eyes flash open, as he goes into a sideways stance. "... Don't mess with me..."

Opening Animation 2 (Making Sport): Kazuya tightens the bandages wrapped around his hands before he stands sideways, his arms loosely by his side as he cocks an eyebrow. "... You dare to stand in my way?"

Opening Animation 3 (Playful): Kazuya pulls his jacket off and sends it flying as he sneers slightly, his hands out in front of him. "... Don't hold back, show me what you've got."

Opening Animation 4 (Arrogant): Kazuya whips his blade out and twirls it in one hand before holding it front of him with both hands. "All shall fall before my blade..."

Taunt 1 (Serious): Kazuya's eyes narrow, a dark expression appearing on his face. "... How worthy are you?"

Taunt 2 (Making sport): Kazuya whips his blade out and twirls it casually before sneering. "... Not good enough."

Taunt 3 (Playful): Kazuya pulls his blade out and twirls it before pointing it at his opponent. "...Was that it? Don't make me laugh..."

Taunt 4 (Arrogant): Kazuya rests his blade on his shoulder and turns his back on his opponent. "... Can you hear it? This is the sound of your demise."

Finishing Animation 1 (Serious): Kazuya straightens up, his eyes fierce and intense, before he walks away.

Finishing Animation 2 (Making Sport): Kazuya stands over his opponent, the wind blowing his hair back. "... You lose..."

Finishing Animation 3 (Playful): Kazuya makes a flame the size of a lighter flame appear on his index finger, before whipping his hand
out. "... Can't take the heat, then don't stand in my way..."

Finishing Animation 4 (Arrogant): Kazuya sheaths his blade and slings his jacket over his shoulder before walking away. "... I will continue my search for a worthy adversary..."

Special Scenarios

vs. Gabriel

Opening Animation: Kazuya calmly walks into the arena, a stoic expression on his face, as he eases into his normal stance. "... I've waited for this moment for a long time..."

Victory Animation: Kazuya stands over his fallen rival, but no sign of rejoice is shown. "... I may have won the battle, but the war is far from over... Gabriel..."

Defeat Animation: Kazuya falls to his knees, his eyes hidden by his hair. "... This is not over... I will get stronger... and defeat you..." He then falls back, unconscious.

vs. David

Opening Animation: Kazuya simply nods his head in acknowledgment at David, his eyes fierce and intense.

Victory Animation: Kazuya bows to the fallen form of his former comrade, his eyes calm but somber. "... It's over..."

Defeat Animation: Kazuya falls to his knees, his eyes hidden by his hair. "... I have no regrets... You truly are a worthy opponent..." He then falls back, unconscious.

[Vetis]

I see Vetis coming in as a silent akuma type. Ya know jumping down and just smashing the ground with a fist. That or blasting a boom box of happy days theme song and throwing it at the opponent.

Regardless Capcom is just so wonderful for releasing it on the 15th. They are so thoughtful!

Vs Jayr: Announcer:Mime Fight ready.....GO!

[Jayr Byrne]

Opening Animation 1(Serious): Jayr walks enters ina flash with her back turned, a group of her NPC's around her chatting when her attention is drawn upwards. NPC's scatter quickly. "Lets get this over with."

Opening Animation 2 (Making Sport): Jayr enters in soccer gear kicking a ball in the air before accidentally launching it off screen, she blushes lightly before bringing her hands up and jumping back and forth like a boxer. "Alright lets go!"

Opening Animation 3 (Playful): Jayr walks in from the side and flips hair casually. Her hands position on her hips and smiles, "Good luck kay?"

Opening Animation 4 (Arrogant): Jayr steps in from the side normally, quickly her body blurs and a multitude of after images appear around her foe before disapearing, Jayr gently grins. "Lets see if you can touch me...."

Taunt 1 (Serious): Jayr leans over lightly before settling herself upright and letting her hands plant on her hips. "Tick Tock...

Taunt 2 (Making sport): Jayr quickly dashes at opponent and flashes behind him before appearing at original position as though she hadn't moved. "Keep up."

Taunt 3 (Playful): Jayr sits on her butt and kicks her legs childishly, "Keep trying."

Taunt 4 (Arrogant): Jayr pulls out her blade and the after images multiply, taking a corner of the screen all laughing. "Why don't we just call this my win?"

Finishing Animation 1 (Serious): Jayr flicks her blade about before whiping it clean on a wash cloth and sliding it back in its sheath.

Finishing Animation 2 (Making Sport): The soccer ball rebounds from off screen landing in Jayr's hands. From there she tears off to the side stopping before going off screen. "Maybe next time."

Finishing Animation 3 (Playful): The NPC's return all hoisting Jayr up on their shoulders while they all laugh. "That was fun, lets do it again." Jayr lets her right hand out to help the downed character.

Finishing Animation 4 (Arrogant): Jayr's body is immediately covered in glowing armor, her right arm becomes a lance and her left a shield, her head is covered with an opaque helmet. "Once more closer to Justice."

[Lasia Able]

Intro Animation: Tsubame appears as if from high speed her arms crossed. She cracks her wrist a few times before taking her fighting stance.

Level 3, Dragon Slayer: Pulls out her katana. "It has come to this... Releasing seal!!" Draws the chained sword breaking the chains and slashes once sending a wave across the screen. "That is the power of a slayer"

Opening Animation 3 (Playful): Lands as if just jumped from a high height. Yawns. "Le'ts get this over with..i'm kinda sleepy"


Opening Animation 4 (Arrogant): Enters her eyes narrowed and trench coat billowing,. she tosses aside the coat. "I'll show you why they call me the Crimson Warrior"

Taunt 1 (Serious): Crosses her arms. "Come at me!!"

Opening Animation 1(Serious): (As Blacksmoke) Roth steps forward in his matted black trench coat, fake tribal tattoos on his torso, a pair of black jeans, combat boots, a sleek black motorcycle helmet. "You're just a stepping stone."

Opening Animation 2 (Making Sport): (As Himself) Roth is jumping side to side in boxing manner while his hands are interlocked and moving in a circle loosening his wrists. Wearing red and black loose pants (Arena Champions Pants) black wrestling shoes, and white athletic tape on his arms. "Let's make this a good one!"

Opening Animation 3 (Playful): (As Roth) Roth comes out to fireworks with a smile on his face doing a little dance. He takes off his shirt and enters the fight area. "Let's get ready to RUUUUUMMMMMBBBLLLEEEEE!"

Opening Animation 4 (Arrogant): (As Blacksmoke) In his all black outfit Roth comes out sporting a black aluminum baseball bat. He makes little motion, outstretching his hand with a sideways thumb, then turns it down. "You're next."

Taunt 1 (Serious): (as Blacksmoke) Roth points the black baseball bat at his opponent. "Hurry it up already."

Taunt 2 (Making sport): (as Himself) Roth takes out a baseball and hits it away with his barbed wire bat. "And the ball slowly rolls past...1st base." (Bill Buckner reference)

Taunt 3 (Playful): (as Himself) Roth's entrance music comes on. Roth starts dancing in place. "Aw yea, that's my jam!"

Taunt 4 (Arrogant): (as Blacksmoke) Roth stares at his opponent and takes off the motorcycle helmet. "Now you know who you you're really fighting."

Finishing Animation 1 (Serious): (As Blacksmoke) Roth drops his metal bat and removes his helmet. "Sorry."

Finishing Animation 2 (Making Sport): (as Roth) Roth crouches over his opponent resting his hands on his knees. "That...that was tougher than I thought."

Finishing Animation 3 (Playful): Roth looks at his fallen opponent. With a smile on his face Roth bends over and waves his hand in front of their face saying "You can't see me", does a series of comedic gestures, and drops fist fist down near them, but not hitting them in a parody. Roth goes for the three count and smiles.

Finishing Animation 4 (Arrogant): Roth paces back and forth ripping off his helmet ad looking down at his fallen opponent. "Roth O'Muthahfucking'Roak bitch!". Very arrogant =D

Defeat Animation: (as either) Roth is on his knees balancing on his bat (barbed or metal). "Get...back here...and...fight ...me." Roth then collapses to the ground wish his bat rolling away.


vs Joshua 'J.T.' Treborn

Opening: Roth enters with his barbed wire baseball bat and a large light tube. Roth smashes the light tube on his head letting blood trickle down his face. "Only one of us will leave here alive!"

Victory: Roth stands over J.T covered in blood. With his barbed wire bat in hand he forces J.T. to his knees. "Make your peace, Mad Dog." Roth then slams the bat into J.T.'s head with the camera cuts away and fades to black.

Defeat: Roth is lying in a pool of his own blood. He is trying desperately to crawl away as everything around him turns to red. "One day...you will...die". Roth falls face first in his own blood.


vs Jayr Byrne

Opening: Roth enters with a smile on his face. He has his bat, but throws it away. He starts doing his wrist stretching. "May the best man..uh, woman..no fighter. Yea. May the best Fighter win."

Victory: Roth dances around his fallen friend while music plays along with cheers from an imaginary crowd. Roth wraps himself in an American flag similar to Rocky II. "And the crowd goes wild!"

Defeat: Roth lays on the ground spitting up some blood. "I lost to a chick?" An American flag then drapes over Roth causing him to collapse.


vs Vetis

Opening Roth comes out with his bat in hand. He looks up at a match card the reads 'Roth v Vetis'. Roth looks in fear and cries out. "El Mariachi!!!"

Victory: Roth looks at Vetis's fallen body in shock. An American flag is wrapped around Roth (again) and Roth starts parading around Vetis. "You don't fuck with another man's vehicle!"

Defeat: Roth crawls away covered in blood. "No...no...not the eyeballs! Nooooo!"


vs Kenin

Opening: Roth comes out amped up jumping side to side and demonstration a Vandaminator. Then he looks at Kenin confused. "You look kinda different."

Victory: Roth whips his bat to the ground and folds his arms smiling. "David had a sling, but a bat works just as well."

Defeat: Roth is on his stomach, but rolls onto his back. "It's your hair isn't it?"


vs Leon (as Blacksmoke)

Opening: Roth comes in in all black and his motorcycle helmet. His beating his bat up and down on his left hand. "I'm a soldier Leon, but I don't work for free."

Victory: Roth drops his bat and helps Leon into a sitting position. "Tell me. Do you know a man who calls himself Esau?"

Defeat: Roth slowly brings himself up to a crawling position. A small bit of lighting fluctuates from him every so often. "Leon...we aren't so different you and I."


vs Esau (NPC)

Opening: Roth comes in as Blacksmoke. Slowly he removes his helmet, then his trench coat revealing both his black metal, and barbed wire baseball bats. "I've waited a long time for this Esau. Too long. You took my life, so I'm going to take you with me."

Victory: Roth has Esau on his knees. Both men covered in blood. Roth has both his bats crossed over Esau's neck. "Esau, you die here today. But not in vain. I'm going to take your heart and make it my own."

Defeat: Roth lays in a large pool of blood with his weapons on either side of him. The sky turns red and he stares at a beautiful yellow sun. "So...this is death. Hope my funeral...doesn't suck."

Opening Animation 1(Serious): The camera pans toward Saint, who sits in the ring in a meditative state, focusing on his face. It slowly pans to show his opponent in the distance over his left shoulder. Saint's eyes slowly open with the faintest blow glow as he quickly spins up to his feet and facing his opponent. With a small exhale he takes a fighting stance.

Opening Animation 2 (Making Sport): Saint walks calmly into the ring with his hands folded in front of him. He smiles lightly while dusting off his robes before taking a simple fighting stance. "I suppose I could indulge you."

Opening Animation 3 (Playful): Saint strides into the ring with a stark expression on his face. After a short pause he looks with a bright smile as a collage of flowers appear behind his head and he extends his arms toward the enemy. "Should we hug it out?"

Opening Animation 4 (Arrogant): *LOCKED*

Taunt 1 (Serious): Saint exhales sharply while bringing his hands down from shoulder level to his waist with the palms pointed toward the ground. "This is folly."

Taunt 2 (Making sport): Saint steps away with a few heavy breaths before looking up with a short smile. "Are we done?"

Taunt 3 (Playful): Saint bends over slightly at the waist and wags his finger. "Careful... you're going to get yourself hurt."

Taunt 4 (Arrogant): *LOCKED*

Finishing Animation 1 (Serious): "You were warned." Saint turns around and resumes his meditative position and state.

Finishing Animation 2 (Making Sport): Saint dusts himself off before adjusting his robes. He glances at the fallen opponent before turning to leave the ring with a casual stride. "I hope that was worth it."

Finishing Animation 3 (Playful): Saint picks out his fallen opponent, giving them a gentle hug, and carries them away like a baby. "Let's get you all fixed up!"

Finishing Animation 4 (Arrogant): *LOCKED*

Generic Defeat Animation: Saint lays on the ground in defeat, eyes staring up at the sky/ceiling with a strange sense of peace and understanding. "Everything... has it's time...", his body dissipates in a golden sand blown away by the wind.

v. "Unfettered"

Opening Animation: Saint strides out to the center of the ring with a very stark expression on his face. He nods lightly while assuming a fighting stance. "So... it has finally come to this... shall we?"

Victory Animation: Saint kneels beside his fallen adversary and places his hand on the man's chest before standing again to walk away. "Rest... old friend."

Defeat Animation: Saint lays there with an ironic smile on his face, staring at the victor. "Is this what you wanted?", his body shifts into a golden sand that blows away in the wind.

v. Mitsuki

Opening Animation: Saint enters with a somber expression on his face before taking a reluctant fighting stance. "A shame it has come to this..."

Victory Animation: Saint kneels down beside his fallen adversary and brushes the hair from her face. "... I am sorry.", the camera pans away as tears start to fall.

Defeat Animation: Saint lays there with an accepting smile, a tear or two forming in the corners of his eyes. "I'm glad it was me...", his body turns to golden sand and blows away with the wind.

v. Jayr

Opening Animation: Saint strides in with an odd air of confidence before giving a polite bow to his opponent. He quickly adjusts to a fighting stance. "Let us see which shall carry on... the new generation or the old relic."

Victory Animation: Saint looks at his fallen adversary before shaking his head lightly in dismay. He turns and slowly walks away with a disappointed aura. "... what hope is there now."

Defeat Animation: Saint smiles lightly looking up at the sky, as he body turns into a golden sand that starts to blow away in the wind a few words echo. "Perhaps there is hope for the future..."

Special Scenarios

v. Roth

Opening Animation: Turns around from her side, cracks knuckles and starts jumping like a boxer. "So much for tag-team."

Victory Animation: Turns to center giving a huge smile and holding a thumbs up before lowering her left hand to give Roth a hand up. "Round two?"

Defeat Animation: Jayr falls on her knees letting her palms keep her balanced, her head low with her hair covering her face. "Next time you won't be so lucky."

v. Vetis

Opening Animation: Jayr tucks and rolls in from the side making a miming gesture pulling on a rope before entering the battleground. "Why don't you talk? Jayr asks childishly.

Victory Animation: Jayr towers over him with a foot on his stomach grinning with a thumbs up.

Defeat Animation: Jayr lays sprawled out on the ground breathing heavily before leaning her head upwards, "Just you wait, I'll catch up."

v. David

Opening Animation: Jayr is carried in by her NPC's all the while kicking her feet playfully. "Hope you don't mind, I brought a few friends."

Victory Animation: Jayr stands over him smugly but offers a hand up. "Pride begets the fall."

Defeat Animation: Jayr's NPC's carry her out on a stretcher, "This doesn't change a thing."

v. Gabriel

Opening Animation: Jayr jumps down from a ledge with a large impact, draws her fists and put them up, a residual blue glow in the background resembling a moon-like figure. "Let me show you what true strength is."

Victory Animation: Jayr turns her back on Gabriel leaving her eyes down to the floor and flips her hair with her right hand. " The student has surpassed the master."

Defeat Animation: Jayr lays in a crater breathing heavily. "Guess I need a bit more training."

[J Lethal]

Hmm...Voodoo Loa ought to make this interesting.

Opening Animation (J): Walks out with a swag in his step. "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta."

Opening Animation (Baron Samedi): J comes out with a small purple glow. "Come J, let's have some fun!" "Yeah. Fun."

Opening Animation (Damballah): J comes out hopping sideways with a small green glow. J, take the time to enjoy dis. "Whatever you say Dam."

Opening Animation (Madamoiselle Charlotte): J walks in with a lot of swagger and a light pink aura. "Ohh, cute opponent!" "Yea. Wait, what!"

Opening Animation (Mami Wata): J walks out in a more feral manner. "My time is precious Lethal. Make dis quick." "Got no problem with that."

Opening Animation (Ogoun): J walks out slow glowing red in a attacking pose. "Kill. Crush. Destroy!" "Kill. Crush. Destroy!"

Opening Animation (Papa Legba): J walks out in a tall stature in a well presented manner. "Victory or Defeat. What path will you choose Lethal?" "The only option is victory."


Taunt: (only one taunt) J Lethal looks around and begins to break dance. Head spin, Spinaroonie, or one hand handstand.


Defeat (J): J is on his knees and elbows bleeding. "Next time, you're going down."

Defeat (Baron Samedi): Same pose. "This is the last time I help you Lethal. This was no funa tall!"

Defeat (Damballah): Same Pose. "Do not worry J. There is always a next time."

Defeat (Madamoiselle Charlotte): Same pose. "How to you expect to get a woman like that!"

Defeat (Mami Wata): Same pose. "I will never understand the faith the others have in you."

Defeat (Ogoun): Same Pose. "Pathetic! And you call yourself a warrior!"

Defeat (Papa Legba) Same Pose. "Lethal. What path will you take from here?"


Victory (J): J stands over his opponent with his arms outstretched in a cocky pose. "The Bloods couldn't get me, what makes you think you could!?"

Victory (Baron Samedi): J stands over his opponent with folded arms and a wide smile. "Now THAT was entertaining!"

Victory (Damballah): J walks away from his opponent and closes his eyes with a slight smile. "Victory is as sweet as life itself."

Victory (Madamoiselle Charllote): J looks down at his opponent, then to his left where a white busty red hair girl comes out and holds onto him. "Thats how to be a Ladies Man."

Victory (Mami Wata): J looks at his fallen opponent with a scowl on his face. "You're getting stronger Lethal. Just a bit more now."

Victory (Ogoun): J looks down at his opponent. With a large smile he geins to kick them repetadly in their head. "No Mercy J! No Mercy!"

Victory (Papa Legba): J fades away from the match and ends up in an open plane with a crossroads. Papa Legba is there and looks at him. "What path will you take J Lethal?" J smiles and starts walking down a random road. "Which ever one comes next."
