It'd been about a week since the unfortunate events on campus had taken place and not only was Jaus capable of walking around but he was managing to recover slightly from his battle weary body. With a bit if a limp Jaus paced out of the medical room with his left arm in a heavy sling, the wrapping of the gauss a pinkish hue still white but the congealed blood very present underneath from the stress of moving. All his equipment would be worn with what he came in here with. The thick and heavy coat plastered over his shoulders, the darkened arm weights straining at his arms. Even the blade to which he'd lost to strapped around his belt.
He'd shift his gaze to look downward at it admiring the artistry of it all, curious how the teeth hid beneath the sheath and didn't knick it in any way. He could still feel the screams it'd caused in that battle but didn't toss it aside, it was however a certain measure of power that flowed from it that forced the boys hands to buckle with a degree of ambition.
He could feel the need, the ambition to draw blood and to fight. No restraints, was that not what Gabriel was proving by destroying him entirely. To see the boy grow from it and become everything that he was capable of. A warrior of God.

"So your the Jaus Valentine that I've never met. I knew there was someone of SLF I had yet to meet..."
Orion had heard of Jaus ending up in the hospital by his various informants. He also knew Jaus was a member of SLF, and this was as good a time as any to meet him. So, Orion was waiting right outside of the hospital, sitting on his car that was parked there.
"So, you seem to be heavily injured. Mind coming with me for a drink? I'm buying. I want to actually meet you and stuff, as we work for the same side. Oh yeah, I'm Orion Smith."
Orion extended his left hand to the cripple as he spoke.
OOC: Planned plot is basically Orion and Jaus get a drink, and then another, and another... and Jaus attacks him drunkenly. Jaus will get drunk before Orion will, I guarantee. Because Orion is immune to alcohol!

"So your the Jaus Valentine that I've never met. I knew there was someone of SLF I had yet to meet..."
The strangers voice calling to his attention with the small consideration of looking on him with interest rather finding the he was not. Upon his eyes inclining upwards he'd catch the notice of Orion the glowing boy, however to him the kid was nothing more than a freak show spectacle.
Then again when the boy mentioned the SLF it raised questions once more. He must have been like Roth, just another soldier for the cause or so the stereotype would play out.
"So, you seem to be heavily injured. Mind coming with me for a drink? I'm buying. I want to actually meet you and stuff, as we work for the same side. Oh yeah, I'm Orion Smith."
Heavily injured? Jaus would look down at his arm wrapped in the sling with a bit of a pissed off gesture. It sounded like he was pitying him with those measures. Jaus would bite down hard to the point his teeth felt to be grinding.
"Not interested,"
Jaus would pull off the sling in a ripping gesture flexing his arm, he was injured sure, hurt even but he'd not be pitied by a low class warrior. The scanner would register in his eyes playing his power level and measuring the likelihood in which he'd go aggro. Not likely.

"Not interested."
Orion let out an irritable sigh. The idiot....
"If you took any insult from my last statement, I do apologize. All I simply want is for two individuals who happen to be allies to go get drunk and see if we can understand the world while we're drunk. Before the drunken fight, obviously."
Orion refrained from mentioning that he was immune to alcohol, just in case it did end with a fight. Always good to keep your trump cards...
"Or, if you prefer, we can have a simple spar. Though you'll have to ditch the knife, obviously."
OOC: Stats or statless? I don't much care.

"If you took any insult from my last statement, I do apologize. All I simply want is for two individuals who happen to be allies to go get drunk and see if we can understand the world while we're drunk. Before the drunken fight, obviously."
Jaus stood silently, his uninjured arm raised upwards scratching the flank of his skull coming up with the only perception he could figure. The guy was clearly a bit off. From what he could tell the kid was a tad younger than him and to be speaking about drinking so freely merely meant that either he was trying to prove something or he was familiar with the drink. All the same he wasn't going to bend.
"Or, if you prefer, we can have a simple spar. Though you'll have to ditch the knife, obviously."
"What an idiotic ploy, fighting when your senses are nulled." Jaus marked his tone to a harsh degree hinting at his disrespect in the tone. To him all aspects of fighting were important, the pain included.
"However I'll play along."
Jaus grinned pulling the blade from behind his back and burying the tip in the ground with a loud clink of the blade in contact with the surface.
"Come on, lets play."
The inclining fingers upwards suggesting that the boy charge at him. This was all a game to him as the smell of battle and war hovered in the very present air.

"Come on, lets play."
Orion nodded, jumping down from the car.
"Just to let you know, I see so no honor in most fights. I'll restrain myself here, and not use cheap tactics like groin shots."
Orion cracked his neck. It had been a while since he had actually fought someone one-on-one, with only pure physical skill. No weapons, no electric cages, just pure one-on-one fist-fight.
Joy.
Orion then dashed forward at top speed, his right fist cocked back at the waist. As he got within range of Jaus, Orion would strike at Jaus's stomach with his right fist, his left hand chopping at Jaus's throat.
Throat shots do not count as cheap shots!
OOC: Out of respect for you as a fighter, I will not hit you in the groin.
... or use my taser which is in the glove box.

Joy Indeed....
Jaus felt the tight smirk adjust on his lips before adjusting himself to deal with the opponents' offensive chase. With his arm poised in a sling there was little he could do with the left arm. With his right foot back and left foot leading Jaus rose his right hand defensively quickly enacting the reflexive blow dropping his right hand to grip around the wrist of his opponent's leading strike. With a grip around the leading wrist he'd press the blow upwards cutting off the following strike and raising it upwards above his head.
With the concussive grip tightly bound around his wrist Jaus would take a step back with his left foot turning his body a full 180* about so that now his back would be to Orion, his grip still wound around the boy's wrist before bending forward and tossing Orion over his shoulder and into the ground.
Once the boy was on the ground Jaus would release on the grip around his wrist and put his right foot on the boy's throat pinning him to the floor.

Oh like hell.
His blow was caught and neatly deflected. As Jaus turned, though, Orion wasn't going to just let himself be flipped.
Orion jumped, as best he could, and swung forward, using Jaus as a sort of anchor in the air. His legs wrapped around Jaus's right one, so as to make sure that flipping him would be a bad idea, as it would require Jaus being flipped too.
This was followed by Orion rearing his head back and smashing it into the back of Jaus's head as hard as he could.

While the boy would pose himself in a position entwining around Jaus' right leg he'd be positioned so that his hips would have to be at a slinking degree in order not to be thrown over into a flip. Judging by their apparent heights Orion being the shorter of the two men he'd be incapable of head butting the back of Jaus' head however if he proceeded with the attack he'd end only in head butting the back of Jaus' neck at the base of the spinal chord only hurting his own nogin.
As for Jaus standing of course a head taller would be quick to respond, trading hands he'd carry the wrist over towards his left hand; while still in the sling it helped carry along with a measure of strength to tug Orion over to the right side of Jaus' body. As for Jaus' right hand would reach for the sky and as he dragged Orion over then Jaus would drop the arm around the boy's neck into a headlock and squeeze down around the neck.
In doing so once under the crippling strength of the right arm Jaus would release on Orion's wrist and take to rather grabbing his own wrist tightening the grip around Orion's neck.

OOC: Music, since we forgot to put it in... www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQH-noxTTTEIC: So, being flipped onto ground is bad. Response? TWO LEGS ARE STRONGER THEN ONE ARM! And Two legs and one arm are stronger then two arms, so... stalemate! Which was Orion's goal. He tightened his legs around Jaus's right, and slammed his left onto Jaus's left hand, pushing back with all his might. If Orion used all his force... there as the off-chance that Jaus would fall on him. But that wouldn't happen, right?

Good move, though there were flaws to it. The hyper critical Jaus Valentine noted the boy's motion to trigger his legs around his own stalking one. Good move, the problem with it however was the fact that the boy was relying on his hand to go to combat with Jaus' own ligaments rather than go to work on the legs. Pushing off of his with the hands was a futile attempt as the legs were spread at a wide base giving Jaus dominate support of all his actions. A soft grin as he tightened his chockehold on the boy. There was of course the tap out. Jaus offered it to all his opponents it was a measure of pride vs. stupidity. It wouldn't matter because before long the boy would be passing out soon to lack of air, there was no one who could do without that necessity.
