[Lilith]

Lilith Crane was excited. School! Friends, clubs, lockers, homework.. learning! It was nice to be going back to normal things going to school and being a family. Though Warren had changed and it was not for the better but Lilith was trying slowly to bring him out of his shell if she could. She smiled brightly ready for her first day of school. Her purple backpack was slung on her back and with every step she took the myriad of keychains that adorned the zippers that she had collected jangled almost annoyingly. Her silver hair shimmered in the bright sunlight of the morning as it hung down beautifully around her back and her shoulders stopped mid way down in it's recently brushed silken locks. Her lavender eyes seemed to be so bright in her pale frame and so full of life. Her skin was pale and no matter what she did she had never tanned.

Blue jeans adorned her small statured frame that was neither muscular nor flacid it was just toned she worked out enough to keep it looking nice and shapley. Her jeans rode low on her hips and despite Warren's misgivings this morning her shirt did not quite make it as far down as her jeans went. Her shirt was a baby pink tshirt with a glittery butterfly in opaque glitter across her chest. This made her belly button show between her jeans and the bottom of her shirt which Warren was very disapproving of but it was fashion! How could she not participate. On her right hand was about fifty different bracelets. Plastic, metal, the cheap ones you could buy like fifty for a buck. Yep.. she had them on her wrist.

"Do you have your number two pencils?" she asked her brother who walked by her with a look on his face that could kill a man for just looking at his sister. He nodded.

Lilith looked him over. He couldn't look more stuffy. Black slacks. White shirt. Black coat. She sighed. No fashion sense. She had tons of money and that was what he bought himself to wear on his first day of school.

"What about your spiral?" another nod. "Lunch?" Nod. "Crayolas?" Nod.

"Warren Ichabod Crane! You aren't even listening to me!" she exclaimed knowing full well she did not buy him crayons. She sighed and took his hand pulling her blonde brother to a stop. Her eyes looked up at him softly. "Please.. just one smile? It's been a long tme and.. we're starting a new life. Be happy Warren. We're away from everything painful it's just us now. You and me. It's all we need."

After that she would let go of her brother's hand and head off in the direction of the school adjusting her backpack the keychains jangling together all the little plushie ones smiling happily and all the metal and plastic ones making about as much noise as they could. Lilith stepped onto the school grounds and smiled. Looking over her shoulder at her brother a bright smile on her face she called out..

"Look! We're here! Our very first day!" she exclaimed happily.

'Why must she always play these games?'
Warren thought to himself. It wasent like he was trying to be mean. It was just that he had better things to do than to play 20 questions with his twin sister. Warren walked alongside Lilith, Wearing his usual outfit. Black Dress pants, Dress shoes, Tie and Longcoat with a White pinstrip patterned dress shirt. His hair gelled in the usual way he does it. He had one hand in the pocket of his longcoat, the other hand holding onto the handle of his suitecase-like Napsack, with it slung over behind one shoulder.

After Escapeing from his 'Parents' Warren took it upon himself to act as Liliths caretaker. Which meant having to Grow up mentaly far faster than he should have. He also wanted to look the part. Which meant dressing up and maturing his behavior. His eyes were the dead give away of his complete lose of childhood innocent at an early age. They Simply Stare at and through everything and everyone. Though he never looks anyone except for his sister directly in the eye. He tended to look around people.

"Please.. just one smile? It's been a long tme and.. we're starting a new life. Be happy Warren. We're away from everything painful it's just us now. You and me. It's all we need."

Warren let out a sigh. Always with the Smiling. If he WANTED to smile, then he would. But he knew his sister and she was a stubborn one. 'Just like me in fact.' He thought smugly.
Warren then looked Lilith in the eyes and did his best to smile, Which unfortunatly came off as chilling, creepy and fake. After a second or two, his face returned to its Stoney Neutral Setting.

"Of Course Its just Us now. I've told you that enough times dear sister. But that does not mean that that will be the end of pain." Warren spoke in his high Icy voice. Totaly Devoid of Emotion. He looked up at the front doors of the school. #259.

"I have a feeling that there just might be more pain to come. Especialy in a school with a reputation as this one has."

It was more of a grimmace than a smile and her face showed how much it hurt that he kept pushing her away. She swore despite what he said that he thought she was at fault for what had happened back at home. Lilith turned her face away and looked down now since there was no reason to try her heart hurt when he was like that. When he was so cold and it hurt her more now than it might have before because he was all she had now. And they were starting out here with a new school and she didn't know anyone here. And all he was doing was pushing her further away. Lilith sighed as he told her that this school could very well bring them more pain considering it's reputation which was why Warren wanted to go to this school any rate, she would have been find to hire a tutor but he wanted the whole experience. She shrugged her shoulders softly she wasn't going to say anything else if all he was going to do was be so cold.

The school was large and her lavender eyes took it in saying nothing since he was in a mood this morning. They used to be so close and after they had left the home they had run from because of things going on they could not control, he had become so cold even to her. And every time he was like that to her it only pushed her further away she was such a happy person and was letting her past go but it was hard when he was judging her like this instead of embracing her and leading a better life. Tucking her silver hair behind one of her ears making her bracelets that covered her wrist jangle softly she took in all the students that were here, she was kind of scared to start this new school especially if Warren was being so cold she really didn't have anyone to lean against.

Lilith sighed softly and glanced up at her little brother who acted like he was older. Her eyes were saddened as she looked away quickly.

"See you.. after school." she said softly as she turned to make her way into the school on her own. Might as well for all the company he was giving her.

Suddenly Warrens head snapped as he turned to look at Lilith. His face Betraying a small measure of annoyance mixed with concern. If she thought for a second that he would let her out of his sight. Warren didnt Pull Her away from 'That Man' Just to have her brought to harm here. He knew the reputation of the school. The only reason they chose this one was due to the high academic scores. It was the best in the district all right. Unfortunalty it was also one of the deadliest.

"I swore that I would protect you until my dying days when we had forsaken 'That name'. Do you really think I would let you out of my sight now? If you wish to take another route into the school, then that is fine. But I go with you."

Warrens eyes suddenly showed, in a brief flash, the pain he was keeping under wraps. The pain he would never dare share, lest Lilith think him too weak to protect her. His dearest sister.

Lilith stopped as he began to speak. She turned and looked at him with her own pained eyes. The twins had been through a lot in their past Lilith more so because she had been the reason that their mother had tried to kill Warren. Because he was protecting her from their step father who had been nothing but pond scum. She saw there though the soft boy underneath that she had always loved and been so close to. Before he could go away she rushed over and threw herself in her brother's arms seeking that comfort he had always given her. She had never had a boyfriend and she was honestly excited at the prospect of finding one. She knew Warren would be an issue with anyone she tried to date he was so insanely protective of her but for good reason. She tried not to cry.

"I miss you." she whispered to him softly so that only he could hear. "I miss Warren, the one I used to play with, and the one that would finish my sentences." she confessed.

Wiping her cheeks quickly she pulled back and walked beside him again. She longed to have her brother back the happy go getter. The brother that was always happy to see her, she wanted to make sure that he would and could come back even if it was only for her, she wanted to have her brother back. She knew now how much it must have hurt him when she had retreated into herself when they had lived with their parents. But she was back now and she didn't see why Warren couldn't do much the same.

"We should go find the office and get our schedules." she said softly to him.

The Hug caught Warren off guard. To the point where he simply stood there with a confused look on his face. With uncertain, Jerky movements, Warren Returned the hug, though it lacked the emotion behind it. It wasent until he felt Lilith Shudder and heard the first couple of Sniffles that he Hugged her tight. Memories that haunted his nightmares played out in his minds eye as he held his sister, The old him Trying to fight through his ice mask.

But the second Lilith pulled away, The mask came back on. But the ghost of Warrens old smile played across his lips.

"Fool. He never left you. He has always been here." He said, Pointing to his own head. The smile then quickly vanished. Leaving his ice cold Neutral face behind. His Silver eyes hard and unyielding.

"But your right. I think we need to talk to a Mr........Asiv I believe?"

Lilith smiled brightly once again. Warren's smile! It was there and she quickly hugged him one last time before she stood beside him as they began heading towards the front of the school. she was excited to start school and she had her cell phone on her as well as some kind of high pitched emergency device that she could use to warn people she was being attacked. She also had one of those life alert things she was packed with alert devices that Warren had insisted she carry with her she was probably the most electronically benificial girl on campus. He mentioned Mr. Asiv and she smiled.

"Yeah, that's the guy we're supposed to go see." she said with a bright smile.

"Hey! What do you say after school we go somewhere and celebrate. do something fun! It's our first day here right so maybe we should go see a movie! Or coffee! Or.. ummm.. shopping something fun! Come on Warren! You never leave the house, it's a HUGE house but lets do something outside today what do you say?!"

Another smile threatened to tug at Warrens mouth. Seeing her like this was always good for him. Though Lately such happy times were few and far between. It didnt help that such times didn't last too long. So he let the moment ride, Feeling the warmth begining to melt his Mask alittle.

"The reason I never have left the house dear sister, Is because I am busy practising my Guitar so that I do not end up single handedly ruining your career."
He said with a smirk.
"But I think an outing is in order. Yes, Very well then. Perhaps to the mall?

Once that was decided, he would slip back into his mask. Letting the day ride on. He checked his pocket watch.

"We should hurry. I do not want you missing your first class on your first day now. Nor would I wish to be late either.

"Bah! I'll just fire you and hire someone better!" she teased with a bright smile and her eyes lit up as she looked up at her brother who was quite a bit taller than she and so different than her at the moment.

He played the guitar for her. She sung. Most who knew music, watched music videos would know her by sight alone if they thought about it. She was Tiger Lily the latest craze on all the pop markets her first album had already gone platinum and she had a shoot for her latest music video this weekend. Her brother, in hopes of traveling with her on tour and keeping her safe, had learned to play the guitar so he could follow her when she had to leave. She smiled softly becaus they both knew that it would never come to her firing him but it was fun to tease him with it at any rate and many of the young girls that were all about Lilith's music thought he was dreamy so that only helped.

"You're the one loligagging. Lets go step up the pace!" she chuckled as she looked at him over her shoulder her silver hair bouncing about happily. "I wonder if we have any classes together?!" she said excitedly.

"Knowing you we have them all." she grinned and nudged him playfully.
