Ki stepped into the main building, more or less just looking around at the moment. What he saw wasn't necessarily appealing.. a kid getting beat up relentlessly by some bigger dude. While he doesn't put people first, this angered him. Nothing was worse than fighting a downed opponent. So, Ki gripped the back of the guy's neck, and all of a sudden a sensation of heat passed through the hall. He himself felt nothing, but the kid he'd held howled as the grip around his neck tightened. After a moment, Ki launched an unintentionally heated knee into the kid's spine and floored him, unaware of his change in temperature.
How would one react to a sudden wave of heat that vanished in just a moment, and a kid on the ground who's neck was fried?

'Ah! Feels like Brazil!'
Ric's sense of euphoric bliss was soon depleted, the temperature quickly returning to the warm, humid days that he was becoming accustom to within the school. But that wave of heat that dried the air and reminded him of his second home, where did it come from? His eyes searched the hallways, coming upon a rather 'heated' scene. . . Better puns in the works.
A sizzling neck was the indicator, and the neck had a hand attached to it. How great was that? Sherlock Holmes, your not needed, this case was closed. He moved closer, watching the knee being thrown into the spine. That was a potentially debilitating move. That was a serious intent to either maim or kill. How interesting, perhaps someone besides himself was a bit crazy. He had to know.
"YO! Shortie!" His yell caught the attention of quite a few in the halls, but given that his eyes were fixed on Ki Yong Kwon, quite a few breaths of relief escape into the hallway. He continued to move in closer, the path between them clear, no bystanders in the way.
"It's not my personality to prevent a guy going at another from behind. But that should be done in private, ya Perv. Now, if your looking to hit someone, be a man and look them in the eye when you do it."

Ric would probably feel it getting really cold, now, and immediately his eyes were fixed on the guy. Instinctively, he popped his neck and took two steps forward, the temperature beginning to fluctuate rapidlybetween hot and cold.
"Do something."
The kid he'd helped slowly stood to his feet and flipped Ric off and limped down the hall.

Ric's eyes stared past the shortie with the attitude at the hobbling cripple who flipped him off. His face had been memorized, one of Ric's talents. He'd find him later, and explain how one should be polite to another. Looking back over at Ki Yong Kwon he couldn't help but smirk. This guy was already a very amusing sight to behold. He was happy to get into a fight with him, another chance to test himself against supernatural.
"Sure. I'll even be serious."
He took a deep breath, his eyes closing for half a moment before snapping open. Despite being wide open he was fixated on the man in front of him. His every move would be seen and countered. Every flaw would be capitalized on. Ric felt his muscles relax, reaching a higher state of speed then he'd previously known.
Releasing his breath he pushed off, rushing in towards the 'Shortie', leaping into a jump at 5 feet away, throwing a flying right knee straight towards the face of his opponent. It wasn't exactly a well calculated move, but it was a devastating one if it connected. Otherwise, it was just a good, fast way to cover the distance.

Ki crouched and wrapped heated arms around what would be Ric's extended leg - the one not shooting the knee out - and he'd push forward with both feet, countering the taller man's momentum. If the hold would be successful, he would.extend to his full height and drop the guy on his face.

Ever over calculate a jump and decide you need to push off of something? Well, that's basically what Ric did as he leaped towards his opponent. His eyes watched his squat down, and so he kicked downward with his right leg. It wouldn't be a perfect strike in any sense of the term, but what it would do is push the boy closer to the ground. He wouldn't get an actual hold on Ric's left leg, only brush it with his shoulder. That was enough to stiffen his landing, but only by making him take a few steps forward to regain his balance.
But he wasn't about to stop attacking. If they both had their backs turn, the one to turn around first would be at an advantage. He pivoted quickly on his left foot, his hands already up with his palms out, ready to deflect any incoming attacks should he be the one receiving. However, if he was the first to turn around he'd move toward until he was within range, which would only be 2 steps for him, before stepping out with his left leg and snapping his right leg around in an arcing motion, both in a centrifugal term, and vertical. He was attacking the thigh of his opponent, and by striking at a downward angle as he was it increased the damage done by his shin.

Ki was still crouched for a moment, and as he rose, he looked back to see his opponent act. So, since he was already low, he got lower, tilting his head to avoid the blow. As it would pass overhead, his arm would curl around in the opposite direction, once more going for a hold. Then he'd stand and take one step forward, only to push back to screw up whatever balance Ric had, and would shoot a foot back at the guy's kbee. He's at about 130° right now.

Ric had him focused on the legs, that was good. He wasn't in the position to see any of Ric's upper body as he went to grab his kicking leg, which unlike Taekwondo kicks had a much wider range of striking, meaning he struck through much more then the snap of a pichagi. That meant that his stance was wider, his leg already on the ground when the arm was wrapped around it. It also meant that Ric was lower to the ground. His center of balance was better, and his elbow was primed to strike.
He couldn't slammed the tip straight down into the back of his opponents skull, hitting tender flesh and possibly severing the spine from the brain. But that would be a complete and utter waste of a perfectly good Lackey. Instead he turned his arm over while moving downward into an exaggerated squat - to bring himself even lower - and slammed the forearm into the upper back skull of his opponent, avoiding the fleshy area, but still aiming to deliver a critical blow.

Ki went the leg while overhead and stood, which seems to cancel out the logic in that move. Temperature would continually rise as Ki followed through with his own move, sending his foot back and leaning forward as the attack came. The forearm would hit his scalding upper back then.
After the forward lean, he'd release his hold, pushing back and aiming his heel back for Ric's midsection.

Ric's elbow was a sudden strike, not something that sat around waiting to smell the roses. As such, any heat coming off of his opponent's back wouldn't affect him, especially since it hadn't even gone about singeing his cloths. If it hadn't burnt through cloth(and possibly leather) then it wasn't going to affect Ric's elbow.
When his leg was released and some distance was created between the two men he simply hunched his body forward while breathing out in a quick yell, causing his abdomen to contract and form a wall of natural muscle. As the heel struck he shifted his weight from his front foot to his back, lessening the blow even more as his hands came up to wrap around the ankle of his opponent.
Pulling the leg to his right he'd pull it up under his armpit, locking it in place with both arms before using the crevice of his right elbow to hook around the ankle, his forearm coming back across parallel to the foot, his two hands grasping together. This created the proper hold on his opponents leg for the ankle lock, and by lifting his left leg up and extending his foot by his opponent's hip while falling towards the ground - chin to his chest to avoid bouncing his head off the tile - he'd pull the boy with him onto the floor with his leg bent to the side and his ankle being torqued in an unusual direction.

He felt.. a hint of danger. His body would heat up to 275° degrees as his ankle was taken, which wouldn't serve well for his attacker's arm. Still, though, he couldn't react quickly enough to get free. He was, however, capable of raising his other scorching foot and sending it downward as his opponent fell, twisting his body and aiming - hopefully - for the stomach.
Body temperature slowly rising, now.

This heat certainly felt... Hotter then Brazil. He knew he had to act quickly with his move. It was already locked in, he wasn't going to hesitate. He'd been taught not to hesitate. Act quickly or be defeated. The seering burn that was trying to cauterize his skin without a wound just made him act all the quicker, and more effectively, in terms of technique at least. He acted out of danger, and from that danger coursed through him the will to survive. Surviving meant that whoever you were facing didn't.
This was going to hurt.
He didn't notice or bother reacting to the other foot. He didn't see a point, he was falling with the leg, so by the time it reach him he'd already be on the ground, the foot aiming for his stomach would land, but it's force would be cut in half by the fact that it connected with his right forearm as well. This in fact added an extra torque of weight to the ankle, which was already locked into place. With the size difference, for 'Shortie' to be able to hit his stomach also meant that his locked leg was bent at the knee and turned inwards. This meant that the ligament connecting from the side of the knees, spiraling down to the ankles would feel a tearing motion while his ankle was close to popping.
This is where it became more then just 'tap' to win. Ric didn't simply sit there and let it slowly take it's course. He'd push off with his right foot, turning his upper body over and torquing the ankle and knee in the completely wrong direction. He'd actually be lifting himself off the ground as he did this, turning over on 'Shorties' knee until his weight was ontop of it and turned in to the side.
All he had to do was admit defeat and Ric would stop, whether it happened before or after his knee and ankle broke and his ligaments tore and snapped was his choice.. He'd endure anything for the win, that's just who he was.

If his ankles would be broken, this guy's would get burned. He couldn't get free, so he'd lean toward the guy's legs and wrap his arms around them. If he could, he'd hug them and burn the guy as bad as he could. Hell, his body temperature was reaching 340° now. He wasn't going to submit.

(I take it that give's me permission to fully execute the technique and damage your leg? If not, PM me.)
There was a sick grinding sound as cartilage popped from the joint's rubbing against one another in the wrong fashion. Ric twisted his upper body to his left while standing, and fully leaned his weight onto the torqued knee and ankle of his opponent. A sickened crackle of a snapping ankle, and who knew what else happened to the ligaments of the ankle and knee. All that remained was the fact that he was still being held onto. That was an easy remedy. He dropped the now useless leg, and without a second though dropped the tip of his solid, conditioned and well trained elbow square into the top back of his opponents skull.
That blow would stun him if nothing else, and Ric would use the chance to pull his left leg back. He only did a half step backward however, as his leg snapped forward with his knee aimed toward the nose. This would snap not only the head, but body of his opponent backward, deftly ending the fight as Ric would step back out of range. Without a working leg he wouldn't be able to stand, and Ric would be the victor.
