Fearless men who jumped and died...
These are the men of our world today...
The words caught Travis' ears as he had wandered down one of the many school hallways during a free period. To his surprise, the one he would see that had spoken the words was a beast he had met with few times before. Though that had been quite some time ago. Travis knew not if the teacher actually remembered him. He wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. After all, Travis had left long ago, and only recently returned. But something seemed different right now about the large human near by. He didn't seem to be in such a horrible mood. He didn't seem like the creature that had tried to crush him long ago. It didn't help that he was laying right in the middle of the floor. And that a new 'sky-light' would show the endless blue sky above.
Mm. What am I going to do?... I cant get near Kate, or she'll end up dead like the rest of them. Baaah...
So he was correct in assuming that something was wrong. That the big fella nearby might actually need someone to talk to. But was Travis really the type to simply sit and chat with another, to help solve problems? Not really. He would be relatively new at such a thing, and so when he spoke out, it might have come off as if he was being an asshole.. Like always.
"Awww.. Whats wrong with the big bad bear?"
