The door being shut, it sent every muscle in Kevala into a form of tension, her mind having to repeat the breathing steps she had taught herself to stay calm.
Told you that you should have stayed away.
The thought barely noticed from her new friend inside her head as she was trying to not think about the last time doors had been shut on her, locked in, the asylum.......
Breathing increasing as she felt her hands ball into fists....not because she meant to attack but because she was fighting off a panic attack.
But then, there was nothing threatening coming from this girl, and that more than anything confused her.
So, she stayed there, frozen.
At least until Kirsty came up to her, hands on her waist....movement and then.....
Oh god.....
That tongue on her collar bone sending a shrill sense of both confusion and paranoia and something else she could not place burning through her.
Her breath catching in her throat. She took a heavy gasp for breath once Kirsty had let go. Though, the girl had only made it a few paces away before Kev stepped forward, grabbed her wrists, spun her around and used her other hand to wrap around the back of her head, pulling her in and pressing her lips to Kev's.
A brief kiss, though within it was a fierce amount of passion, tongue brushing those lips slowly and sensually before Kevala even realized what she was doing, her hands releasing the girl as she stepped back.
What the fuck was wrong with her!? In that instant she had not even been herself, she had not known was was happening to her other than the fact that something inside was toyed into playing this game, yes, a game......
Stepping back, she swallowed past the lump in her throat and nervously tucked the hair behind her ears.
"I....I..."
She what?! She could not even think straight right now.

As Kirsty reeled from Kevala's sudden action she pushed her firmly back against the wall and their lips met again, the burn of desire deep in Kirsty's abdomen was overpowering and she had to force herself to let go.
"I'm sorry."
With that she pulled her bag and jacket up from the floor and began to make her way out of the bathroom, through the crowd of people that had gathered outside and down the hall. All the while her body continued to burn with lust and desire.
As she stepped out into the sun again she pulled on her glasses, shielding her eyes which were by now stinging painfully.
"What the fuck am I doing here?"
Kirsty straddled her bike, preparing to leave, she didn't know where she was going to go or what she was going to do. All she knew was that she'd just stepped over a line, a line that had existed since Rachel broke her heart.
The birds were singing, the sun was shining and there was a gentle breeze. But everything inside Kirsty was far from calm. A part of her wished she's stayed in the bathroom, seen what could have happened. But the more rational part of her told her the best thing she could have done was leave, for her and Kevala.

It was not something Kev had not expected to happen. She knew the girl would leave, and if not for the fact that she was currently pinned against the wall, trying to catch her breath and figure out what the hell had just happened, she would have gone after her.
Instead, it took Kev a long moment to be able to get herself together enough to move, she went straight into the hallways and out the front door.
A deep breath taken, trying to compose herself still as she felt the sun beating down on her face. Pulling her glasses down onto her face, she started off the grounds....her head down....mind reeling.
Slowly, with a soft flick of her lips, she could not help but look back.
This could not happen. She was not the right person for anyone. She knew that, but in that moment she had lost her control and her composure.
No, she was dangerous, pure and simple.

As soon as Kirsty saw Kevala walking across the school grounds, she felt something click and she fired up her motorcycle, riding after her.
"Kevala!"
She had no possible idea what she hoped to accomplish by following her, she barely knew the girl, but that didn't stop her feeling something. Anything.
Kirsty didn't know if it was caring, compassion or pure unadulterated lust that made her chase this intriguing girl but she did. She wanted to clear the air between them... Maybe.
She hadn't felt quite so drawn to a person since she first met Rachel, even then the start of the relationship had been purely about fucking, maybe that's all this was, either way she was going to live for the moment.

The sound of her name made her stop once more, her brow raising as she turned and saw the girl coming toward her.
Once more pushing her glasses back onto her head, she let those icy hues once more focus on Kirsty, not entirely sure what she was going to be saying here but fully expecting something like being called a slut, or a whore, or bitch...None of which were new to her, in fact she had thought of having business cards printed with them on it.
But that was beside the point. For now, she stopped and kept her attention on the girl, taking a few steps closer so that whatever was said did not have to be yelled across the distance and cause other people to stop and stare.
That would have ate away at Kevala's nerves and she honestly could not handle that.
"Hey...look, I am sorry about that. I just....Heh. Hell I don't know what happened."
She nodded, eyes averting downward as she kicked her combat boot against the pavement beneath her idly.

Kirsty knew that Kevala felt bad, though she couldn't really understand why. She was getting the impression that this girl didn't have much sense of self-worth, which was a shame.
"I wanted it.."
The bike came to a standstill and she got off it, stepping closer to her. Kirsty wasn't completely sure of what she was doing. In all honesty she wasn't even sure of her own sanity anymore.
Her fingertips lightly touched Kevala's lips, lips which had been pressed to hers not ten minutes ago. Her own lips tingled as if they were almost reliving the memory.

Self worth? Pft! Who needed that!? Not Kev, apparently. She had been living without it for a very long time now and that was just fine with her. No self worth and then she had no need to think she deserved more than she got. Plain and simple.
Not that anyone would ever get that out of her. Nope, she kept her secrets guarded, closely.
Yet as the girl approached, those words lingering in Kev's ears, she could not help but look up, fingers upon her lips making her swallow down the lump that once again had risen in her throat.
"But...the way you ran out....."
She sounded confused, and for the most part she was. She knew that she had not read the signals wrong, she was never wrong about people's emotional patterns, yet the reaction she had also understood, which in effect.......confused her.
Maybe it wouldnt make sense to anyone else, but it did to her.

Removing her fingertips, Kirsty replaced them with her own lips, her hand holding onto the back of her head. Her stomach was in knots and she didn't know what this meant.
"I thought I'd done wrong by you.."
Her voice came out in a hushed tone after she'd found the strength to pull her lips away. This girl was positively mesmerising to her and that scared her to death.
Kirsty didn't want to become too attached to someone because everytime she did, something went wrong and she had no doubt in her mind that if she became attached to Kevala, it would be no exception.

The replacement of fingers with lips had Kev's breath catching in her chest, causing a sudden ache, but one that was soon overwhelmed by the feeling of her stomach turning. Not a bad sensation, but one that set her mind on guard.
No, this was not supposed to be happening, she had promised herself that she would not hurt anyone else, and if this continued that was exactly where it would go. Besides, they had just met.
She tried to tell herself that it was just her year and a half of nothing, not even a hug catching up to her, but she could not help but wonder if that was it.
As the kiss was broken, she finally managed to draw in that much needed breath, the words confusing her all the more. Somebody do her wrong?
She didn't think that was possible.
"I...I am dangerous..."
Her words did not hold much conviction, but they were uttered just the same. She didn't want to hurt anyone else, she didn't want to do to another what she had done to her Mischa......but still she did not pull away to leave, still, she stood there with her heart racing and breath shaky at best.

It was then that it occurred to Kirsty that this was probably Kevala's way of warning her off, of telling her she wasn't interested and Kirsty couldn't help but feel the old familiar ache of reject.
She stepped back from her and ran her fingertips through her hair, she knew that she was being silly. She didn't even know this girl.
"Uh.. Then I guess I'll leave you be."
KIrsty turned away, preparing her bike for departure. She didn't like the person she'd become.

Ahhhh shit! That kind of damn emotion meant that Kev's words had come out wrong, and she did not like that, did not like making somebody think something negative when she had not meant it that way.
Stepping forward, her small hand grasped the other girl's wrist, tugging her softly to a stop as she shook her head.
"I wanted it to....I just...."
Her hand fell away as she bit her lip and looked away to the side, not sure what to say that would not come off as wrong or as another attempt to push the girl away.
"I am scared....."
And that right there was like a punch to the stomach. Because Kevala was not one to admit to such a weakness. But lately she was not sure who the hell she was anymore.
One minute she thought she had it figured out and then something came along and turned her world upside down. It was all so, complicated and as said before.......confusing.

Kirsty ignored the words that were spoken with such vulnerability and fear, her heart was pounding in her chest.
She climbed onto the bike, tears stinging her eyes behind her glasses and before she began to cry she spoke softly.
"I... Have to leave."
With that, Kirsty was gone, going home to get drunk. Lord kmows she needed it.
