OOC: This post occurs several (three) days after the "Aftermath" thread. A fair amount of this is done via loudspeaker blue tooth conversation... hence why such far-from-each-other characters are seemingly talking to each other. Text in quotes in Moderator talk... like a DM/GM.
Talking Color Code:
Tai was bandaged up as they continued to drive on. "Unfettered" was incapacitated for the time being, while Rogers took to the wheels. A line of beaten up vans drove following closely after each other as the caravan of displaced Militia members drove on towards the Crows original area.
"You got the fucking call?" Tai would say to someone over his blue tooth.
"Yeah. And I told you... the place has been overrun. With Kiyoshi out of commission, we have no spearhead to take back our base," stammered an irritated Michael on the other side of the phone.
"We've been trying to get a hold of Areon since... the decimation," continued Ryan on the other side of the phone.
"We need to get back our foothold."
Areon had been working with Leon the last little while fighting to maintain the new Dragons territory, being the Wind Dragon even still. Though his goggles chimed on when he picked up a few high potentials moving towards the docks area. The Peace Cafe was well established and guarded at this point, so Areon kicked on his Qi as he stepped into the air. Ten Dragonlings jumping on motor cycles behind him as they took off, Areon reaching up to answer the call on the built in blu tooth to his goggles.
"I'm listening."
"Oh, thank GOD," sighed a relieved Michael.
"Things have been inconsolable without you here. Are you up to date on the news?"
"I've been monitoring things for a while, I'm barely able to pick up on Kiyoshi or Unfettered. Though I do know the state of the Crows HQ. I'm already on the move with some reinforcements... Looks like 30 normal fighters are waiting for you. One Class C fighter as well."
"Hold the fucking phone..." interrupted an irritated Tai.
"Fucking thirty? Fuck. One fucking sec. Todohiko, you fucking listening in on this?"
There was a moment's pause.
"Yeah, I've been listening. Can you RELIEVE ME, PLEASE?" was the whiny, desperate voice.
"HAHA YOU'RE FUCKING KIDDING ME. Tell that shithead Jazz to come over with ten of his goons to the Crows Nest. Preferably with something to fucking crack someone's skull open with," sputtered Tai.
"It'll take them a bit to get there... But not too long."
"You can't be referring to THAT guy," interrupted Michael, suddenly worried.
"...Y'fucking no-show, you listening to this?" replied Tai ignoring Michael.
"Are we fucking waiting for you, or do we begin setting up the operations without you?"
"I'll monitor your movements and theirs. Begin the assault as soon as you are prepared, even if I havn't reached you yet." Areon reached up and hit another button on his goggles reading each persons abilities, items, Qi's if they had them, and potentials. He didn't mind what he saw.
"Take your bandages off. They will be drawn into melee combat due to recent events, seeing you injurred and still fighting should cause a panic in the initial strike."
There was burst of spiteful laughter from Tai's end of the blue tooth.
"...Fine. But I'm no monster compared to fuckers like you. Hurry your ass the fuck up."
"You're really rude..." commented Michael to Militia's standing-in commander.
"Dont have to be a monster, to play a monster." Spoke Areon's more tactful side, but the grin on his face, and the increased speed of movement in his flight was his urge to fight, the 'monster' side.
Areon would fall back to the motor cycle's lead Dragonling, wearing the Wind Dragons symbol on his sleeve.
"I'm going to go on ahead! You guys charge in when you get there! No stopping!"
"Got it!"
Areon would gain altitude rapidly until he was over the buildings, focusing his Qi into speed as he charged in a straight line for the docks.
Meanwhile...
Tai and his small rag-tag team would arrive to the building just outside of the border to the docks, just before where land became a bridge over a where. There he met up with the rest of the Crows, saluting them... with his injured right arm. Dora followed after him, along with "Green," Roger Summers. Tracey and Lauren had both stayed behind at their "temporary" base within the Barker territory to look after the injured.
The remainder that had originally joined from "Unfettered's" direct influence had stuck with the Crows ("Unfettered's" NPC count towards Crows---they did not participate in Fate other then the fact that they were there in Lot A).
Jazz Willis and his men arrived shortly after, from their singular van, armed with pipes. Half were lightly injured due to looting-related incidents while the explosions went on.
Tai went to greet Ryan and Michael as they stood next to a table.
"Fucking report. We're about to charge in, Areon."
That said, Tai glared at Ryan and Michael.
"Simply put, while we were helping people escape from 259, our base was hijacked. We've already put in demands to have it given back to us diplomatically."
Ryan wiped his nose.
"They're being difficult."
"So they're fucking expecting us. Wonderful," was all Tai could grumble.
Instead of looking at the laid out plans on the table of potential strategies, he flicked up his hand in the air, gesturing for everyone to follow him.
"My scans say they are armed with batons of some sort, and have on body armor, so hit them in the head or other limbs. Jack some armor if you can to protect yourselves. I'll be there in a little under three minutes."
In fact Areon's goggles had a timer that had calculated his speed and distance to destination and was counting down his estimated time of arrival.
"It's fucking simple. Injured are with me. We're the vanguard. Jazz and his five remaining men will charge ahead their right flank and Crows will be moving in after the battle has pressed for three minutes so as to relieve the fighters in groups of ten every three minutes until everyone is fighting."
"S'a fucking frontal assault. Any complaints?"
Before anything more could be said, Tai began striding through the front doors and towards the large building.
"What about their weapons and armor...?"
"Grab whatever you can and arm us, y'damn fool," said Tai, whipping out his customary steel pipe into his hands, clenching it in both hands.
"FUCKING CHARGE!"
The vanguard (Tai + 5 injured Black Hoods) would charge down the center, towards the building. The remaining hoods would begin running to right side of the building, heading for the closest entrance, their baseball bats all whipped out.
Dora, "Green," and Rogers would stay behind with the other Crows, as they began assembling outside their staging point, arming themselves with whatever they could. There would be little time for armor. Speed would be their strived-for strength.
"Tai, push through into the building and keep straight, make them feel like you are behind them."
Tai just roared louder (because he was sore as hell) as he chased after them. The hoods that were with him, not used to this sort of action, roared along with him. They would all come bearing down on the ones that they did catch with bat or a pipe two-handed-wise.
However, the ones with Jazz did no such thing, as Jazz struggled, fumbling with his words, pointing and grunting instead as fought in a frenzy akin to a brawler, targeting the first enemy he saw and trying to beat the shit out of it with a bat in one hand and his balled up fist in the other. The three remaining with him would follow suit, not pursuing the ones that fled... if they fled at all.
More and more of the hoods continued to drop like flies. Tai was given a good knock to the face, but his expression only became more deranged, as he would strike back at his assailant's neck with the full length of his steel pipe. Not even bothering to look back, Tai knew that most of the hoods accompanying him had fallen and that he would mostly be fighting on his own. He would try to break into the foyer of the area where Kiyoshi had stepped down so many months ago to greet the crowds. There, he would look for anything of note with which to give him leverage---while he would throw himself recklessly into battle at whatever came into view.
Jazz, however, was satisfied with trying to keep the doors locked in the room he was in, barricading them. Preservation of the building wasn't high on his list, so he would do whatever he could to isolate this room with his remaining goons.
...Meanwhile... Dora, "Green," Rogers, and the Crows were finalizing their equipment check.
Tai would adjust his fighting style accordingly, bringing his pipe close to him defensively, making his swings shorter and closer to his own body... But if two or three ganged up on him, he would undoubtedly be overwhelmed and knocked out.
Jazz would sit on his thumbs, waiting for the three minutes to pass on by, walking around the room he was in with his remaining comrade (if any). He would be in no rush to come to Tai's aid.
The others would begin marshalling themselves in a formation of five by two, with Dora prepping the first wave at the helm, getting ready to charge after Tai.
"When I say charge, y'better all fucking charge..."
Areon's blu tooth having been turned off, Tai and the others would be able to hear him as he came shooting down from the sky, the visible win cloud around him busting through the roof of the building as his momentum doesn't stop. His landing pounding as the wind decipates around his kneeled form. He lifts to a standing position and flanks the remainder that Tai is fighting, the combined efforts easily dispatching them.
"You can come out now, Jazz." Areon says loud enough for Jazz to hear.
"NOTHING... FUCKIN..."
The doors unlocks as the annoyed unwilling soldiers open all the doors at once, weapons at the ready to strike, confused as to where the enemy is.
In a heap, Tai collapses onto the ground on his ass, panting heavily.
"ABOUT FUCKING' TIME YOU SHOWED UP."
...At this moment, Dora shows up, with nine Crows with her, slowing their yelling and charging for a moment before Tai points at them to follow after Areon.
"I'll... fuckin' catch up in a second."
Areon leads them outside blasting through the door they had shut, walking out he already knew where they all where.
"Take out the small fry, I got the big one."
And like that Areon would begin a rather one sided battle with their leader, dispatching him rather quickly. Areon's abilities and skill level obviousely far surpassing this guy.
Dora, meanwhile would charge headlong... ducking at the first fellow he met in order to strike at the man's shins, before bringing the entirety of her body weight into all her blows, over-exerting herself. The other Crows would go on to engage in combat with a very reluctant Jazz assisting their numbers with his three (himself included).
Tai... would remain seated for a while longer before pushing himself up and onto his feet, looking at everyone who was knocked out. He would stand, resting his back against a wall, waiting for confirmation of victory or failure.
The hoods and crows would sustain one to two more losses before having taken down the last of them. Areon looking around at the last bit.
"Man its been a long day."
Deciding to wait no longer, Tai would follow into the room after Areon... and look at his handywork on the boss-apparent.
"Nice fucking job.---OYE, Y'FUCKIN LOUTS! FIND SOME ROPE AND BEGIN TYING UP THE DEFEATED. Dora, get the other Crows up to date and get them to start tending to the wounded. We'll start looting their fuckin' shit after we've got ourselves settled."
Dora would give a simple nod and trot outside to convey her orders... Green went to the helm of his ten to gather the fallen while Rogers would go back to the Crows' temporary place to get whatever sleeping and medical supplies they could bring with them to their old base to set up for the wounded.
While all this was going on, Tai would look at Areon.
"...Fuckin' one man army... The fuck's been going on your end? "Unfettered's" barely seen you since Crows started."
"Gathering intel. Keeping my name as a Dragon alive, and helping find a weapon Barker was developing and destroy it, to give us the upper hand." Tough he frowned looking down.
"Not even I saw this kind of thing coming."
Tai shook his head, giving his superior a once-over.
"Like anyone could predict FUCKING MISSILES. This is an attack that goes beyond anything within the realm of fucking common sense."
Tai's frown seemed to increase into a grimace.
"...Not that we can do anything about it fucking now."
"..."
"Thanks, though."
"No problem. But, how are you hiding Unfettered and Kiyoshi from me? I can't pick them up on my goggles."
Tai was silent for a moment.
"...We're not exactly fucking hiding them. "Unfettered" and Kiyoshi both nearly fucking died in the defense of 259. Kiyoshi's back at our shitty temporary base though... I don't even know how to get to where the fuck "Unfettered's" being kept."
Areon didn't like the sound of that. He didn't like alot of things it would seem right now. The Dragonlings would roll in on the motorcycles now, all wearing the same symbol on their sleeves as Areon had on the jacket on his back.
"I'll leave these ten here to help fortify this base. They are fresh and well trained. I'll stick around as well. Information gathering can wait until we're back on our feet."
Tai just nodded. There was a number of things blatantly showing on his face, but there was a smidge of greatfulness to the third founding member of Crows showing what he was truly capable of.
"...Well, you can interrogate the fucking goons we've captured here, but I don't know what we'll do with them afterward. Never was my thing to fucking take care of."
On that note, Dora had rejoined with her Crows and had already begun dragging all of the defeated to one room without windows, where they'd all be tied up and bound with their arms behind their back and their shins tied their thighs.
"Green" was busy setting up the place for rest and sleep while Rogers went into the room with the tied up goons, "relieving" them of their posessions. Tai whipped out blue tooth, whispering something to Todohiko over in the Black Hoods base before turning back to Areon.
"Right now, you're the only one fit to lead the Crows. Militia will help you defend this territory," spoken seriously without a hint of profanity. That said, he'd scowl at Jazz and order him back to his post...
"Out fucking standing."

Class C meant freshman level average fighter. Normals have 10 in every stat.

Whatever reinforcements Tai had requested would arrive about now.
Getting ten fighters, five bandaged in some fashion, the others seemed fresh.

The sudden shock of an attack and by obviousely injurred looking fighters caught the poorly hand to hand trained fighters off their guard as they defended and attacked wildly being taken down easily by the street punks who where used to this kind of combat. The ones busting in the right side didn't get that luxury as they where met by fighters just as poorly trained. Though it would seem they met more resistance.
"Tai, push through into the building and keep straight, make them feel like you are behind them."

Tai's intimidation forces had them shitting their pants as they fell more foot soldiers. A total body count reachin 10 by now. While Tai had only lost a single one. Jazz however had lost two, while only being able to drop 4. Jazz's push did turn the tide however, seeing the fleeing soldiers from Tai and the injured hoods and the now injurred body count lowered their resolve giving Jazz and his hoods an advantage. Both sides dropping two more respectably.

Tai's charge had lost him one more hood, a throne of sorts had been set up where the obviouse leader was supposed to sit, but wasn't. Instead Tai was greeted by only 5 more soldiers inside. While outside the doors shut leaving the remaining 7 and the boss outside with Tai, Jazz, and the hoods where locked. Areon began to pump more Qi into his speed now.

Jazz has 2 left and they seem puzzled as to the objective of it all. Areon begins to yell as he can see the warehouse now with his own eyes. Tai and his remaining three hoods are able to hold their own for a short time, but the numbers are batting away at them, dropping another hood, but its an equil trade as Tai drops one of theirs.
Areon's blu tooth having been turned off, Tai and the others would be able to hear him as he came shooting down from the sky, the visible win cloud around him busting through the roof of the building as his momentum doesn't stop.
