(FIRST EBAR RP HERE... so... >.> If anyone wants to join I guess PM me first then we can go RP ) The otherwise silent and peaceful school would be disturbed by taps on the cement ground from a pair of wooden sandals. Sacricia Emily Lourdes Delos Santos - or Emily, for short - made her first few steps into her new school - Public High School #259. It somewhat reminded her of her old school in Japan, where she had left the last year because of certain... problems. Now she had to start as a freshman again; not that Emily cared really... but it was quite a bother seeing as she had to deal with those troublesome freshman courses all over again. But forget all those stupid courses - what mattered to Emily right now was the space of the school. Man, it looked like it took up the entire block! It was good - VERY GOOD in fact. Surely they had a place to run around... maybe they even had their own track-and-field team? Who knows? The girl just took step into this school just a few moments ago. Worse comes to worst, heck... she might even just join the swim team... but Emily wasn't as good in swimming as she was in running. It was around an hour before her classes, and yes it was very early in the morning - but the sun had already risen, leading the young artist's eyes to wander around the new scenery. She kept walking and figured that she might have been a tad bit too early. Her alter-ego growled inside of her mindscape, figeting with the clean, and almost serene environment. 'Is it a quiet fuck up or what? " she started, "Look at all this... green... and flowers... ew..."
"... you dearly do not possess the love for nature...."
"... and you are majorly in need of a LIFE.""I believe I actually do, besides to try and stop talking to myself so early in the morning." She said with a very low volumed and monotoned voice as she took the time to adjust her black messenger bag before entering one of the buildings - if she wasn't mistaken by the way she read the sign - it was Building one. 'Where's that... '
'What class are you going to this time Emmeh?...'
'...English...'
'Damned People don't put a school map on a big school like they used to, huh?" Emily shook her head and went and began exploring, besides - she had around more than 2-3 hours to get acquainted with the place.

(My official welcome, and I hope you don't mind.)
"Er.. where are you going Miss?"
Jason King was in at work early that morning. He was taping a piece of paper to a nearby door, it read;
Period 1 English will be meeting in room 213.
Apparently, he was substituting for Freshmen English today. That was because Miss Nanda had gone on vacation. Jason King was tallish, and of medium weight. He wore some sort of dark suit, with some serious voodoo trinkets. Like little skull buttons, and such. He also wore a hat of the same design. Making it a nice ensemble. Mr. King was a nice fellow, without a doubt.
And he had morals, unlike some members of the administration.
"Lost?"
Oh dear, I hope she isn't lost... I think she's lost.

Emily blinked softly, and with an unmoved face of stone and lack of emotion she answered plainly, "Eigo. Ichi. [English. one.]"
Apparently, this Japanese immigrant still wasn't used to the environment even though she knew english pretty well. "English." was the next word that came out of her. Her voice was pretty, but creepy because of her monotone way of speaking.
She looked at the man with piercing green eyes then traced his movements to the piece of paper taped to the door. "Ni... ichi... san.." The girl read the numbers then looked at the teacher, "Teacher...?"

"Er.. yes. I'm your substitute for English today. But it's a bit early, would you like a grand tour?"
Why, oh why, do I always end up in situations like this?
He cocked a brow, and waited for her response. No matter how long or short it was, he knew it would probably result in some kind of odd end. As she seemed, to him at least, to speak some english, but not as much as he hoped.
Damn the foreign exchange system! DAMN IT TO HADES!
There was nothing he could really do about it though. It was kinda his duty as a teacher, and her first teacher, to actually welcome her. Rather than just teach, and move on. He really didn't like the notion of interacting with students outside of school hours. It looked suspicious. Especially with what he was trying to do. Cleanse the school of the drugs.

"Sure." The girl said, giving out a rare, short-lived but genuine smile... but it was still small enough to be within her 'sane' range. It was the most she had spoken in a while. Besides, she was living alone all the past months and all...
... and it looks like our teacher here thinks this girl wasn't good in english. Well, she was pretty good in it... considering the fact that she had been living in the Philippines before she migrated to Japan. So let's face it, this girl was multilingual - give or take 3-4 languages ... including Japanese.
"Doko...? [Where...?]" She said, well now it was more of a playful purpose since this guy looks spiteful of the fact that she was an "exchange student". HAH, Funny.... no not funny - it was amusing for her.

"This.. is the first floor."
He started walking, gesturing to the double doors at the end of the hall. They were in the main hall of the first floor of building one. The main building of the high school. The first floor had both the high school's gymnasium, and auditorium. When he reached the double doors, after babbling on about the different classes that were on the first floor, like the chemistry lab, he gestured to the double doors.
"That's the auditorium. Generally we do everything that an auditorium is designed for in there. Save dramatic and musical productions. As we don't have a drama department."
He frowned, he would have liked to have a drama department. But he was just a little busy, dealing with the string of crime running through the school. Kids ending up in Oki's office inured from fights. Blood in the halls. Drug dealings, and a pair of deaths.
"Mooooving on."
He had a stoic look on his face, easily portraying the distance between him and many people. As he didn't like to get involved with students too much.

That was good news! No, not the fact that they didn't have a drama department... but the news that this school DID have organizations. She thought the government gave her some dumb correctional school for freaks - hopefully, she wasn't concluding too soon. "Is there a track and field team?" She asked, with a hint of interest on her voice as she followed the teacher around the building's corridors.
Emily, as her old school in Japan might boast, was one of their best runners despite the fact that she sucked bad in the energy department. She fell asleep as soon as she stepped beyond the finish line. She'd try for 100m if she had more strength though.

"Yes, we do have a track and field team. Though the only sport everyone participates in here at school is fist fighting. Despicable, really, but what can one do when one works at the most noteworthy school in L.A.?"
He turned towards the east and pointed at another set of double doors, all the way at the end of the next hall. That was the cafeteria, they had plenty of horror stories coming out of there, even food fights on a weekly basis. He hated lunch duty, he hated it so much. As opposed to violence as he was, he had been forced to engage in it at points.
"That's the cafeteria, the student dining room. Everyone in that period is to be in that room for lunch. No exceptions."

Fist Fighting? Maybe he meant Taijutsu... anyway, it still meant the same for her. "Sou ka. "
Then the two headed for that cafeteria, looks like there had been a bit of trouble before her arrival here. Several cans of soda were lying on the floor, the ground was sticky with sugar, and the walls were painted with mustard. Looks like a food fight.
"That's the cafeteria, the student dining room. Everyone in that period is to be in that room for lunch. No exceptions." He said. Ok, that would be a problem. Emily HATED noise. Noise would just trigger her alter-ego to go ballistic.
'... stupid rules.' she swore mentally, seeing as she found no way out of this rule. No loopholes to run off to. Damn.

"Questions, comments, complaints babe? No? Moving on."
Yes, he just called her babe. But he called his students that from time to time. He casually walked to the next staircase and started going up it. Completely ignoring the mess. It wasn't his fight, not today! He didn't have lunch duty! That's right! Out of sight out of mind!
"All the rooms on the second floor begin with 2. It's the same in all the buildings. So in building 2, which is the gymnasium just outside this building, there are four rooms. The locker rooms, one for each sex, the gym itself, and the office in there."
Up, and up the stairs. To the sanctuary that is the second floor. His room was on this floor, and it was growing closer to the time where school would begin, and she would have to go to class. His class.
If she touches my Cthulhu plushies. DOOM BE UPON HER!

The student took note of the things that this teacher oh so pointed out. "All the rooms on the second floor begin with 2. It's the same in all the buildings. So in building 2, which is the gymnasium just outside this building, there are four rooms. The locker rooms, one for each sex, the gym itself, and the office in there."
"Hai." She answered in a sweet, gentle (but creepy) monotone. The girl would look at her watch and her left eye would twitch. She would be late for english class at this rate. "English?"
And there she goes again with that one word, one sentence habit. Hoo boy.

"Yes, we're heading to my room now. 213."
He removed his keys from his pocket and opened the door. He went right for his desk, and moved his Cthulhu plushie from the static leather chair, to the podium. It was a classroom with a desk formation of Rank and file. His administrative desk was in the back. His teaching desk was in the front.
"Go ahead and take a seat."
There was so much mythological artwork on the walls. Chimeras, gorgons, Fenrir, orcs, Vampires, demons, succubi. If it came out of a myth, it was on the walls. Even an extensive map of the linear human mind. And an extensive map of the non-linear human mind. An anatomical portrayal of the brain, and it's psychological functions. This wasn't an english classroom. It was a specialist's classroom.

The young mangaka couldn't help but look around at the very peculiar decorations of the room. First of all, she knew what most of them were - mythological creatures. She sat at an empty desk right at front and made herself comfortable.
Looks like she's the first one there - duh, the teacher just opened the door for crying out loud!
Emily's eyes began to scan every detail of what hung on the walls, as if she was trying to pull lineart out of it. 'Interesting.'

That's when the brats came in. All of them. Kinda all at once too. For the love of god they were on time today. He didn't have to have someone hunt them down.
"Morning boys.. girls.."
"Jackass!"
"And resident bastards... disturbed ones. You all have a new classmate today. Introduce yourself, and if you all don't play nice. I'll throw you out the window."
"Will not."
"Not in the mood Roger."
He took up a piece of chalk, and put it on her desk. It was a brand new white piece of chalk. There was so much she could write with it. But then there was the consequences of her actions. Jason was an educated man. He could probably talk his way out of all sorts of trouble.

"And resident bastards... disturbed ones. You all have a new classmate today. Introduce yourself, and if you all don't play nice. I'll throw you out the window." Were the words that came and disturbed her from her mangaka-ness.
The chalk was placed on her desk - she got it. Looks like she has to start talking. Sigh.
The young asian stood, her ebony black hair swaying as she made her way to the center front of the classroom, but not on the podium of course - that was the teacher's property... well she still had to write her name on the board, and so she did.
She wrote, Sacricia Emily Lourdes E. Delos Santos.
She then gave away another smile of the day as she turned to the rest of the class. Sweet, but still rather rare for a person like her - and less genuine. "My name is Sacricia Emily Lourdes Delos Santos. Call me Emi or Emily if you so desire." She then bowed lightly, "It's good to meet you all."
She then straightened herself up, continuing the smile. Emotions were tiring. Mendokusee desu yo.
