"Thank you Miss Santos. Go ahead and have a seat."
He waited for a moment, then erased the board. Then began to write a sentence on the board, detailing instructions underneath the sentence.
in this wurld i cannot find my place any more. I am lost without reson and full of strife begging for release.
Correct.
He went then went to the desk in the front of the room, and went through some papers. Producing a class list, then adding her name to it. All of her name. He wrote very tiny, so it worked out well. With that, he hefted a box full of books onto the desk, and waited for a time.
"Are you done yet?"
"NO!"
"Is everyone but Roger done yet?"

Correct. That was what the board said. Ok, it's nothing that hard actually - and Emily hoped that she wasn't being too overly confident, her English was good, but NOT flawless. And she then wrote on a piece of paper: "In this world, I cannot find my place anymore. I am lost without reason and full of strife; begging for release." One thing she was nervous about was that semi-colon. Oh well, guess it's life if she sucked on it - at least she would learn something from it. Emily could only hope she was right. 'Ne, you're really stupid aren't you...?'

Mr. King walked around, looking at people's papers, with a red pen. Marking scores down on their papers, and in his mental grade book. He was good like that. Very good at memorizing things, especially sequences. Most students did very well.
"Roger... what the hell is this crap?"
"My work."
"You just copied the board."
"And?"
"0."
"What?"
Moving on. He approached Miss Santos' desk. And looked over her shoulder. Then made a few marks on the paper, and wrote a 87. It was a good score, she missed a few things though. He went up to the board and corrected the sentence.
In this world, I can't find my place anymore. I'm lost without reason. I'm full of strife; begging for release.
"In modern english, with the way it has evolved, contractions are used more, and sentences are shortened. Rather than lengthened. Which mirrors our society's tendency to go for a short and effective means of communicating. Rather than a long and formal way of communicating. Thus making English one of the fastest and most effective languages in the world. Making it grow in usage exponentially. Questions?"

Emily then took out her notebook, noting the things that the Teacher had told the class. Well, what he said was contradictory to novel writing - which needed whatever written detail needed to have the reader visualize the scene.
The young girl thought for a moment. Well, there was something that fondled with her thoughts - and thus, she raised a hand.
Once she was acknowledged, she then would say. "To what name should I address you, sir?"
Emily was pretty formal in speech - if she ever talked anyway. She always forced herself to talk in class, but she never forced herself to talk to other people. Kind bordering being anti-social, eh?

"Mr. King is fine."
The class of petty little freshmen giggled. They thought her question was stupid, obviously you call him Mr. King right? Well not if you don't know his name. He shot a red hot glance to the class, and they ceased the laughing.
"Well SIR, I'm getting the fuck outta here... zero my ass."
Whoosh!
Bam!
Right in the face.
"Sit down Roger."
Roger had just been hit in the face, by a flying plastic pikachu. He totally just got owned. By pikachu. His cheek was bruised, and he was now on his ass in the middle of the aisle. Pikachu was picked up by another student, and was tossed lightly back to the teacher, whom caught the little plastic tool of death, and pocketed it.
Did anyone even see him take his hands out of his coat pockets?

Yes. Emily had seen it, but just barely. Sometimes having eyes used to fast speed running let her do so... but it wasn't enough. And looks like this school allows corporal punishment. ... does it? Interesting. Japan didn't really allow this - or at least the school she was on.
"Baka." came the monotone remark of the young emotionless woman as she glanced at the downed Rodger - such an annoying piece of crap that boy was. Emily continued to write down notes and pay attention to whatever thing of academic importance Mr. King would tell the class.
Her alter ego didn't take the laughter very well. Emily looked behind her to glare at them just after the teacher did with her face clearly saying : "Just wait until the class is finished, morons." For a moment there, it was a very rare display of rage and anger boiled up. Her eyes were burning with a passion to kill.
Then a second passed and it was gone - the young woman returned from the momentary surfacing of her alter-ego and turned back to her teacher to resume note-taking. She knew that it was better to just pay attention to the lesson than give any of her precious time towards these pathetic people.
'What in heaven's name did you do...?!'
'I hope you won't mind me taking over later after class.'

"Alright everyone. Now that the morning exercise is done with, I'll distribute your books. We will be reading The Pigman. Nothing out of the ordinary, and a pretty easy read. I expect all high grades on the tests, quizzes, and exam based off of this book. School evaluations are coming up soon, so if you don't want ugly things to happen, you'll do whats best for your future."
He had hefted the box over to the first column of desks, and dealt out the exact number of books as occupants. Down the first row he continued this. Until he reached the very end.
"And what happens to be best for our futures, oh wise one?"
He finished dealing out the books, and put them on the floor, and kicked them over to a corner. Leaning on the wall, he cracked a smile.
"Best is an education for your future."
Yoda style.

Oooh, books! Emily enjoyed reading almost anything. She quickly took hers and opened it with much gusto - skimming the first chapter over and nodded a bit. '... I should get a book like this of my own..." she thought.
[... nothing much to post now is there?]

"You'll read up to chapter one today in class. If you all finish in time, we get to discuss. If not, you have to write a paragraph summarizing chapter one for homework, and hand it in the next time this class meets."
He stalked around to sit behind his desk in the front of the room, and picked up a stack of papers. He began grading them, marking them with his red pen, and writing things on the papers. Essays and things from his other classes. Nothing out of the ordinary.
"Don't read ahead, and don't do anything horrible to the books. They belong to the school, but remain in your possession until we finish it."
He didn't even lift his eyes from the papers he was grading. He just spoke loud and clear enough for them to hear him all the way in the back of the room.
I'm crucifying the one that decides to hurt their book.

Emily nodded and took the book. Luckily for her, she hadn't gotten the idea of 'cheating' and previewing the future chapters. It was a good decision, really.
She was there, reading the first few pages silently when she felt a piece of paper hitting her head. It was actually intended for the boy just beside her. Of course, having no eyes behind her - she had no idea that it would come towards her - and when she felt it...
... well she took it to herself to control her emotions. But of course, she couldn't help but burn the piece of paper a bit as it rolled down her smooth shiny hair. Her primary Qi enabled her body to increase, or decrease the temperature of the heat her body gives away.
In that paper's case: Emily had just increased the air enough to ignite the piece of paper - and it fell to the ground. It wasn't totally burned - just a little charred around the parts where it rolled down from her.
'... mendokusee desu yo.'
(Gonna post that Qi thing soon D: )

The bell rung, and King got out of his seat, and headed towards the back of the room, to get ready for his next class. The usual people started their dash to get out of the room, which probably creeped the hell out of them. The demons, monsters, gods and what not. He laughed internally at their antics, wondering what the Jesus freaks thought of him.
"Remember, one paragraph summary for homework due next time we meet!"
He shifted through papers, and started working on a cypher that had been delivered to him a little earlier that week. It was complicated, but it wouldn't have been that hard... wait.. half of it was missing. What the hell was Kaluskov pulling giving him half the cypher? Where was the rest of it!?
God,this is aggravating.

Once everyone had left the classroom, Emily walked up to Mr. King and poked him lightly to gain his attention. "Do you have an illustrated mythology book that I can borrow?" She asked.
Well, finding a decent reference for her manga was not very easy. The internet wasn't even too reliable. Books were better in any sense.
