Getting to Know The Family

[Leon]

Dion heard Ms. Nanda knew Asiv the best, and Asiv was family. Dionysus didn't know him all that well, but he had gotten used to hating the 'foolish mortals', he didn't want to remember that pretend life that he left behind him. He could remember small events from long ago with 'Uncle Z'. But for the most part he only had memory of what his father told him and was brainwashed into him. So finding Ms. Nanda would be the main thing, so he found himself waiting outside the closed nurses office, as lunch was almost over, as was put on the door, so it wouldn't be long.

[Oki W. Nanda]

Oki stretched, her nausea had finally passed, thank the Goddess. She closed her eyes, pat her stomach, maybe she had picked up a stomach bug? She had begun feeling like this a few weeks ago but it was just minor indegestion- nothing that had made her scurry to the bathroom or refuse fish. Oki loved fish- sushi especially- but for some reason she couldn't even bear the sight of it.

Urgh- she had to move out soon. Bane wanted to move his family in and she had promised to be gone as soon as they had finished figuring out what went where as per the will that had been left. She opened her eyes, and with the constant fluxuation of her moods, well let's say reading 'The Tempest' with her students had been more than..shall we say interesting? There was a bit more emotion than needed.

Oki paused, looking up, the key to the nurses office in her hand. Her emotionless face broke into a sad, sweet smile, "Dion Regen, it is wonderful to see him."

She bowed her head slightly, his nephew, they bore some resemblances to one another, but they weren't all that alike...there were some key things missing- she missed Zack's eyes more than anything. Her eyes brimmed with tears for a moment, she sniffled and smiled, "Pardon, Oki, she's still a bit emotional," she unlocked the nurses office, "Please, come in- Oki will make some tea and we can talk."

[Leon]

His hands in the pockets of his forest green cargo pants, while the long sleeved green shirt covered his uper body. He bowed his head respectubly to Ms. Nanada as she greeted him, and he returned it.

"It is also very nice to see you again."

Dion ignored the look in her eyes the best he could, even though lately he was becoming more and more intune with others feelings, and since his experiences as a god he felt bad about the things he did. He would follow the nurse into the nurses office and then say.

"Oh, um the names Dion, you dont have to say my last name."

[Oki W. Nanda]

Oki smiled, "Yes, yes, of course," she said, making tea and handing him a saucer, "be careful it's a bit hot."

She went to her side of the desk and closed her eyes for a moment, as she sipped her tea. They even asked the same things of her. She smiled sweetly, "To what does Oki owe this visit? She guessed he would be off gallivanting as he pleased with no guardian to watch over him."

[Leon]

"Well from my understanding, you knew Asiv the best out of his friends, His butler Bane wasn' there when I went by, so my next stop was here... I really want to know what Uncle Z... Mr. Asiv was like."

Dion sipped his tea after he asked the question. His thoughts where saying Uncle Z, which is why he slipped and called him such. But he pulled himself out of that fire and used his official name.

[Oki W. Nanda]

She smiled, "Dion, Oki already knows his relations. Pictures upon pictures at the house are proof enough she should. His uncle had a very..loose tongue when it came to family and saki."

She giggled, sipped her tea, "He was a causal man with great expectations. He loved his students, even tried to help them succeed though modifiers. A mistake but, above all, he was mortal- a human being."

She looked at him, her eyes were misty though still held a serious sweetness, "He had no ambitions of being a master, a god or anything other. He inadvertently was a role model, a good one," subconciously her hand rested on her stomach- it was starting to hurt again, "he really did love his family. Talked about his nephew all the time- worried for him."

[Leon]

Dion leaned back in his chair and smiled.Asiv was completely different from the blasphemer Zeus had made him out to be, which was an upside, and helping students succeed through modifiers? sounded sketchy, but the Ex-God could deal with it. He wasn't sure what to make of Oki's tone, but the pitcures really got him interested.

"He had pictures? I only had a single picture of me, my mom and dad, and Asiv."

Dionysus sipped some more tea and held the cup hooked in his first and middle finger like he was holding a cup of saki. A little remnent habit of knowing Drunken Boxing and a young alcoholic.

[Oki W. Nanda]

Oki shook her head, "Zack had tons of pictures of the lot of you and even a few of just him holding you..a few random babysitting moments. He wrote the memories in a journal, just in case. Oki has been keeping them among the few things she and Bane have divided as per his will."

She looked up, smiled, "There's things in it for you as well. Nothing extravagant, just some of the things he kept in storage and on display on the walls. All old and valuable. Oki had plans on coming to find you- the rumors were you live by the river in a van," she sipped her tea, "You're still a young man, Dion- it's not safe, even with your previous identity."

Yes, Oki knew. Zack and she talked- often, about everything...even when they had...she shook her head, "Oki...I do not have much but I do have a two bedroom apartment lined up. Oki..I know you're thinking 'what's wrong with this woman' but..O- I made a promise to your uncle. A big one. And I intend to keep it," she smiled, winked, "Even if I have to bribe you."

[Leon]

Ah so the rumors of how the oh so mighty God had been reduced to a simple homeless brat that lived in his van down by the river. But that was fine with him, he got what he diserved. But he was wondering what exactly she planned on useing to bribe him. He figured she may try to use some of those valuables that she spoke of, but she also seemed to emply he move out of his van down by the river, and move into the apartment with her. Usually Dion, or more precisely Dionysus would make a sexual inuendo to her statement, but ever since Mitsuki changed his life around he just didn't have it in him to do such things anymore.

"So are you implying I move in to the apartment with you, or 'else'?"

[Oki W. Nanda]

She smiled, "Nothing so dramatic, Dion. I simply want you to realize you can have a more...descent roof for your head. With a teacher none the less and a great cook to boot."

Her promise? To watch over Dion. Oki had thought it odd, but Zack was...a sentimental fellow at times. She shook her head, paled, "excuse me a moment."

She got up and wandered to the back of the office where there were two rooms. A isolation room and a bathroom. She was glad the radio in her office was on because it was, yet again, time to be sick. She stayed in there for a bit, brushed her teeth and ate a mint- this was getting ridiculous. She didn't even have a fever!

Coming out of the bathroom, she smiled softly, "Oki's apologies," she took her seat again, sipped her tea, "After all, you are still a minor and who's to take care of you if you get ill or into trouble?"

She nodded, "After all, you do want those photos don't you?"

Yes it was terrible- holding something like that above someone, but in truth Oki would have given them to him the moment he was moved in. She was too kind hearted to withhold something so precious to someone- a look into those eyes of hers was proof enough. She sipped her tea.

[Leon]

Yep, just as he thought, though with those emotional sensors of his he picked up on the fact she really wouldn't do such a thing. Dionysus still did wonder why she stayed in the back so long, he figured it was some feminine thing, and he should just enjoy the music. So when she came back, he nodded and they continued on. He decided it would be fine.

"Good food sounds great... Me and that other guy have been eating beans from the money we get collecting cans and selling them."

[Oki W. Nanda]

She nodded slightly, sat back in her seat, "Well, you could always visit him, even sleep over on the rainy evenings if you wished it."

She was kind, offered things easily, made exceptions, she smiled at him. her stomach was hurting- still, she predicted long hours in the bathroom..very soon. She needed to head home...she exhaled a soft breath and smiled, finishing her tea, "Oki does have a cat though, and has some rules about girls and such."

[Leon]

Dionysus' smile grew to a wide one before he laughed a bit. He thought the thing about girls was rather amusing, though he understood where she was coming from, not only because he was a teenager in his 'prime', but he was Dionysus in a past life, The 'semale' and well womanizer, but that was because of the influential ring, and his ability to make girls fall for him against their will, but there was only one girl for him.

"Well Ms. Nanda, no worries about girls, my eyes are set on a single one. And cats are pretty intertaining, Artemis had a cat once."

[Oki W. Nanda]

She smiled, winked. Spread her arms wide, "Then all is well."

She leaned back in her seat again and tilted her head to the side, "Any other questions for Oki?"
