OOC: Another short one. >_>Well... "Do you understand what I'm getting at?" "Kaufman" cocked a brow rather warily. "...Well, if I don't, its your job to explain, isn't it?" ...And besides... I'm recording every word you're saying, so I'll study that later."..Just carry on."

"...Well, if I don't, its your job to explain, isn't it?"
Keith had hoped this man wasn't going to make it complicated to explain what is going on. But with what Keith could provide along with valuable insight, it gave him a whole lot of aces in the hole.
If the man should fire the weapon and kill Keith, then the man wouldn't benefit for it. And there would be people that would head out to Los Angeles and take their revenge in the future should this be the case.
"..Just carry on."
Keith cleared his throat.
"Very well. In a nutshell, I have both the formulas for the real deal and the fakes. But the fakes do have its uses."
From what he had learned from Linda Osako, Keith surmised that these fakes could be used as assassination drugs. It'll be gory yet it would be clean at the same time.
"You could experiment with the fakes and create a whole new formula. But the original fake formula has a lot of good uses such as carrying out political assassinations. Put the drug in someone's food or coffee, hide, and enjoy the show."
He allowed a few seconds for the man to digest the information.
"The potency of a possible assassination drug was something I didn't get a chance to disclose to Asiv. I gave him the same information as I'm giving you. I gave him both formulas which he seemed to put into good use."
Keith had already exchanged both formulas to Asiv. The Panther Medallion Keith wore around his neck was proof of that exchange.
"He promised me a near limitless supply of these performance drugs and the Brimstone Delta. It was a verbal agreement of course. Since Asiv is no longer in the physical realm, the agreement is nullified."
Now it was time to give the man the kicker.
"I have the formula's memorized. The Reaper formula is proven to work. Just check the files on Asiv's computers. He had shown me something rather interesting. I'm willing to make the same deal with you or something similar."
Keith was serious. The tone of his voice was professional and business-like. But, Keith still had that ringing in his left ear.
"Perhaps you might be able to go further than Asiv went."

"Hah" "Perhaps you might be able to go further than Asiv went." Serious tone or not, "Kaufman" was tempted to just squeeze the trigger and be done with it. Mr. Asiv this, and Mr. Asiv that. Behind the seemingly delighted smile of 'I don't care' that was painted all over his face, the cogs were working, and the screws were put in tightly. And truth be told... if it were not for that medallion? He would've disposed of him already. Verbal agreements of dead men meant nothing to him, since he was still alive.. and yet..."For whatever it is, until you give me these aforesaid 'formulas', you mean nothing to me, Lucifer-lad... So you can either continue talking, I have a squad of enforcers escort you to Mr. Asiv's old computer, or... you hope it doesn't come to the third option, at this point, Mr. Lucifer-lad."
"If so, lad... and your offers please me enough, lad... we may have a 'written' agreement this time, to make for a much more binding deal. And possibly some other, more TANGIBLE things... lad."
"..So I suggest you carry on with one of the first two options, if this is REALLY what you want, my good 'Lucifer-lad'..."...Go further than Mr. Asiv? He had surpassed him a hundred times fold-lad!
Clearly, Mr. Lucifer was under the impression that "Kaufman" was on good terms with Mr. Asiv-lad. A rather fatal mistake that would force "Kaufman" to put consistent pressure on Keith from now on, should he come out of this with no said 'agreements'.
Pushing his chair back, he slowly stood up, but never ceasing to face Keith, as he slowly opened up a small cabinet... knocked on the door, seemed to press various buttons and symbols."After all... only a 'Dealer' should make a deal-lad."..It appeared that the door was waiting for something to be mentioned. ..Because continously pressing as he may, it only popped open at this instant.
Revealing a small stock of canisters of all colors.
...And a special clear canister.

OOC: Whose view are the canisters in?
"For whatever it is, until you give me these aforesaid 'formulas', you mean nothing to me, Lucifer-lad... So you can either continue talking, I have a squad of enforcers escort you to Mr. Asiv's old computer, or... you hope it doesn't come to the third option, at this point, Mr. Lucifer-lad."
That was true right there. This person could've pulled the trigger on Keith at any given moment. It could be a scary moment but Keith was no stranger to dangerous moments. But it was the first time he was seated.
"If so, lad... and your offers please me enough, lad... we may have a 'written' agreement this time, to make for a much more binding deal. And possibly some other, more TANGIBLE things... lad."
These offers should do more than please this man. After all, Keith didn't go to all that trouble to get those formulas for nothing. What point is to have formulas for such drugs if you weren't going to apply it to something.
"..So I suggest you carry on with one of the first two options, if this is REALLY what you want, my good 'Lucifer-lad'..."
Keith didn't know what terms this person was on with Asiv. Nor did he care in the first place. Afterall, there is a universal language: money... Doesn't matter what the relationship is, the one thing just about everybody can relate to is money.
"After all... only a 'Dealer' should make a deal-lad."
Keith nodded.
"It may not be necessary to access Asiv's computer from his office. All the computers should be connected to each other. If you're very skilled in computer, you may be able to access Asiv's files from your terminal."
Keith remembered what to bring up.
"Before his demise, Asiv informed me everything was running smooth with the Reaper. However, he showed me on screen of an interesting case. Perhaps he has it saved on file."
He paused for a second.
"On Asiv's database, there should be a file. Someone named Mitsoumi who has had an interesting reaction from what Asiv explained. He can self-induce the effects of Reaper for some reason as a natural brain chemical. Just like taking the drugs, it increases your speed and strength but deteriorates your will. If you overdose, you turn into a savage beast."
He then looked at the desk.
"If I may, I need two sheets of paper to write the different formulas. I'm going to put a different mark on the upper right corners. They will determine which formula is real and which is the fake. Keep in mind that both formulas are very potent. Before I write them down, what are you willing to offer for the fake as you can refine it into whatever you desire? Also what are you willing to offer for the real deal as it's effects have been proven..."
Yes, Keith was going to make two separate deals. One for the fake formula and one for the real formula.

OOC: Quickie:Offer...? "If I may, I need two sheets of paper to write the different formulas. I'm going to put a different mark on the upper right corners. They will determine which formula is real and which is the fake. Keep in mind that both formulas are very potent. Before I write them down, what are you willing to offer for the fake as you can refine it into whatever you desire? Also what are you willing to offer for the real deal as it's effects have been proven..." Two papers were flicked before Keith. For "Kaufman" there was no guarantee of anything. And the fact that he was listening to this boy in the first place was a gamble he wasn't sure he wanted to take. But it was a gamble nonetheless."For the fakes, lad? For this 'original' formula', lad...? Well, let's see, lad. There's your life, lad. And then of course, I need someone who isn't so high-up to start selling drugs again, lad. So maybe make you a front man, put your neck out there instead of mine... and all the while, you can earn 10% of what you sell, lad."
"And that's if when we test this on a subject they prove to be effective, lad. Until which... you will be under heavy surveillance, lad.A half smile, as he looked on about the boy."..But, I won't lie, lad. You don't have my full trust just yet, lad. And I'd need te' immunize you against the very thing you're selling, lad..." standing, looking at the cabinet full of canisters.
Grabbing the clear one.
And with a flick of his wrist, he whirled about to Keith."...Inject that in your neck if you want in, lad."
"Or no deal."That look in his eyes, beneath the glasses?...
Do or die, time."...lad."

OOC: Finally, can get this thread rolling.
"For the fakes, lad? For this 'original' formula', lad...? Well, let's see, lad. There's your life, lad. And then of course, I need someone who isn't so high-up to start selling drugs again, lad. So maybe make you a front man, put your neck out there instead of mine... and all the while, you can earn 10% of what you sell, lad."
My life?
Keith wanted to laugh as hard as he could. But, he was going to remain silent because this man had a pistol in his hand. It looked as if he wasn't afraid to use it. Of course Keith could withstand bullets for some strange reason. But being possibly shot at point blank range was a totally different story.
It looked as if this man was expecting Keith to put his neck out on the line. Keith was perfectly cool with that. He could very much hold his own. At the same time, Keith knew where and how to sell the stuff.
"And that's if when we test this on a subject they prove to be effective, lad. Until which... you will be under heavy surveillance, lad."
That's something Keith should've expected. He would have to tread carefully. Why was Keith doing this in the first place? Who knew what was going through Keith's mind.
"..But, I won't lie, lad. You don't have my full trust just yet, lad. And I'd need te' immunize you against the very thing you're selling, lad..."
Immunize?
Keith observed the man carefully as he twirled the wrist and presented a clear looking canister.
"...Inject that in your neck if you want in, lad."
"Or no deal."
Keith would grab the clear colored canister and inspect it carefully. He was very familiar with the other colored canisters. Of course Keith knew how to bargain. He could bargain for a bigger cut. But later, it would bring unwanted attention towards him.
The ten percent would more than suffice.
It was Keith's assumption, that this canister would immunize Keith from these drugs.
Here goes...
Keith would then press the canister to the side of his neck. If this thing could immunize people from the drug, this would have potential.
"We have a deal... But I have one stipulation. More of a request," Keith added.
"I need one more of these clear canisters if you have anymore."
With that, Keith would inject the clear liquid into his neck.

The Package "We have a deal... But I have one stipulation. More of a request." The left hand was quick. Fingers tapping on the keyboard. However, "Kaufman" kept his eyes glued on his little chink friend. A twisted smile."I need one more of these clear canisters if you have anymore." *SHLICK*
..The smile grew, as "Kaufman" watched him inject it. A done deal, apparently. At this point, he himself didn't really have to uphold his part of the bargain... but, it was a building block to gaining trust...
A smile.
An odd one...
*Clickclickclick---*
Suddenly holstering his Nagant, "Kaufman" stood up suddenly, as he paced about, towards the front corner of his desk. Right next to Keith. There was a strange look in his eye, as he smashed the 'holy' picture of Mr. Asiv, underneath his ass, as he looked at the door, the guard suddenly side-stepping to the side."...That will be impossible... for three months, lad. I had no intention of using 'that' canister for a while, since the materials and chemicals are so hard to come by... but, coincidentally, it takes three months for the immunization to wear off, lad. For which..."There was no doubt about it. It was either a very sincere smile, or "Kaufman" was expecting something terrible to befall his young new friend. Just slowly turning his head to look at the Asian."..you must sell at least 10 of everything, lad. Each month, provided you've sold all your products, I shall resupply you to a max of 10 canisters each, save for the specialized 'black' one, since we simply do not have the fortune for that powerful shit, lad. And nix on the purple one, unless its just 3... shady businesses work at their own speed, at their own accord, after all, lad."Smiling quietly... there was already a look of knowing, of superiority. He need not explain the fact that Keith was now on the Enforcer's heavy watch list. After all... should he spill the secrets, he would not only compromise himself before the law (lest he was a clever mind), but his own life would be essentially forfeit, so long as he stayed in California.
..But, the chilling efficiency of which everything was starting to work was... simply beautiful. His eyes wandered off again, into the ceiling."...Go home, lad. And you'll find it there, just waiting inside in plain view for you, lad. You are dismissed... Keith."Standing up, abruptly, he would simply proceed onto walking outside, the Enforcer opening the door for him, before following suit, unless Keith stopped him. But otherwise... this was a done deal.
...A deal that Keith wouldn't be able to get himself out of. Keith Has Received: +10 Red Canisters (+5 Strength Each For 1 Thread) +10 Blue Canisters (+5 Dexterity Each For 1 Thread) +10 Green Canisters (+5 Constitution Each For 1 Thread) +10 White Canisters (+5 Wisdom Each For 1 Thread) +10 Yellow Canisters (+2 All Stats Each For 1 Thread) +3 Purple Canisters (Cancels 1 Overdose [O.D.]) +1 Canister Belt (To Be Equipped) (Allows Wearer To Hold 20 Canisters On His/Her Person At A Time)
Overdose: This occurs when a person injects more then three canisters into themselves. The resultant is a 'negative' of stats for two weeks.
Example: Bob injects 4 red canisters into himself. After the thread, Bob is penalized 20 strength for two real life weeks.
You can still get an overdose if you inject seven canisters, since you went past 6.
There has yet to be made a 'Canister Limit' for where a person will die, simply because of too many non-vital fluids running in their body, but it will be brought up with the staff.
PRICES:
Potentially every canister is worth $100, except for the purple ones, which cost $500.
Therefore, you have a potential for $6500 total profits... of which, you'll earn $650, at most (remember your 10% cut deal), for now, the rest deviating to helping pay off "Kaufman's" debt, improving products, or developing new ones.
..Keep in mind that you may haggle with people, if its price versus demand, and you have the right to raise the price, and therefore earn more revenue that way.
You won't get resupplied, after all, until you sell every last canister.
