This was something very unexpected. Keith had recetnly made a deal with Mr. Asiv who in turn introduced his enforcers. There was a huge fight in the assembly center between the students/faculty and the enforcers/allies. However, Keith took no part in the rumble since it wasn't his place to do so. He was a transfer and a businessman.
In business, you don't join your customer in a fight. If you're running guns, you do not take a gun and join your customer. Keith was a mercenary. He was a merchant that worked for the highest bidder. So far, he made a killing selling drugs to this one kid he encountered during his first few days of school.
Keith was going to collect on the drugs and Brimstone Delta that was promised to him by Asiv. It was a verbal agreement between Keith and Asiv. Unfortunately, Asiv seemed to have gotten killed that very same day. Shortly after he and Asiv had a short meeting.
In a nutshell, the verbal agreement was dead. But perhaps there might be some hire ups who might've been following in Asiv's footsteps. In a place like that, Asiv must've been working with some allies. The best chance would be the higher-ups. The teachers were pretty much against the drugs and the Brimstone.
This had brought Keith to the Dean's office. Keith had heard all sorts of things about the Dean. But they were merely rumors. It was the only way Keith could confirm those rumors.
It should be a scary situation. But Keith could do more than handle his own. If he couldn't, he wouldn't be here.
Keith had on his black shades, a black t-shirt tucked in, black denim jeans, black street shoes, an aqua blue silk short-sleeved shirt, and the Panther medallion that Asiv gave to him.
Casually, Keith sat back in his chair in front of the desk. He would then wait for this Dean to enter the room.

The Student Dean: Revisited Things had been going according to plan for a long time now. "Kaufman" had gotten his revenge, and then was robbed of it. But you never could tell that he was dissatisfied. He was only a 'Student Dean' after all. He purpose here was just meant to take care of some relatively easy school work, deliever corporal punishment, and have fun with it all the while, in an optimist's point of view.
...Fucking optimist-lads.
There was a smile on his face with no true laughter behind it. Just the frustration as he walked into his room---
Whirling out his gun, he cocked it, and aimed it at the back of the head of the intruder. Looked older a student? Or an old hooligan here to send his message along? At any rate. "...Don't move... stranger-lad..."The grin had some substinence behind it.. but the boy wouldn't see it, should he turn around, since it would immediatly result in a drop in the hammer."...Slowly state your name, and the reason your here, without moving anything but your lips, stranger-lad." came the cheerful reply, as he pressed the barrel further.
..Slowly, it occured to him, he must've left the door unlocked, but now wasn't the time to bring that up. His defenses were high. Any immediate conversation about 'drugs' might result in unnecessary action... so hopefully this boy had some tact. Maybe a few lies up his sleeve.

"...Don't move... stranger-lad..."
There, Keith could hear a gun click at the back of his head. Perhaps this was the Dean. But he didn't know that he had a gun on him. Then again, it would be pretty intelligent to bring a gun for self-protection. But at the same time, it wouldn't be so smart because a rowdy student could take it.
"...Slowly state your name, and the reason your here, without moving anything but your lips, stranger-lad."
Keith would take a sigh and adjust his black shades. After dealing with Asiv, Keith was pretty much used to this stuff. But hey, "danger" came with the job.
"Keith Lucifer," he answered with an English accent. The 17 year old high school graduate was calm and collected like a soldier. But he had great intelligence, wisdom, and tact to boot.
"I'll be happy to explain them to you. As for the gun aimed at the back of my head, you should only aim it if you actually intend to give me a dirt nap with a bullet lodged in the base of my skull. Otherwise, you don't need the gun. I don't scare like those pansy students."
He cleared his throat.
"It's pretty bad form to start a meeting like this."

"It's pretty bad form to start a meeting like this." "I agree, 'Mr. Lucifer-lad'. But this will end rather nicely."*BANG* Right next to this... 'Keith's' ear, the hammer fell, and in the victimized picture frame was a smoldereing hole, where Mr. Asiv should've been, followed by a trail of splinters.
The point was not to intimidate. The point was to have the rather loud noise go off in the bastard's left ear. "Kaufman's" warning. Did not really like sarcastic, and pompous fools who thought they could talk to the residents of the room in such a manner and get away with it. No proper respect was shown.
The over-sized punk-lad did not knock. Did not wait outside. Did not make for a pre-arranged meeting. And had come into the room without the Dean's knowledge. Of course the Dean was annoyed."My warning, Mister Lucifer-lad. Now explain WHY you are in my room, and a man your age hasn't gotten a job yet, Lucifer-lad..."Being nice was optional. He had things in this room he had to keep tightly secure, after all, evidence that he had a flow over. Security had to be high, and this boy either had to show he meant business, or get the hell out of there.
Or at least explain that he was a college student here, attending 259's programs. For all "Kaufman" knew, this man had come in here to 'tend' to "Kaufman" from some various higher-up. Why "Kaufman" would think that way?
..Well... there's a reason these two are meeting, isn't there? And why "Kaufman" is the man you go to for this sort of thing."It was either that, or I knocked you out with the hilt of gun, Lucifer-lad, but I want some answers, Lucifer-lad. You may take a seat now, Lucifer-lad." he added, rather sarcastically.

"I agree, 'Mr. Lucifer-lad'. But this will end rather nicely."
The gun went off and there was a smoking hole in the picture frame. Seemed that Kaufman was a tad bit trigger happy. Firing the gun wasn't a smart move.
Did he have to fire that thing near my left ear?
Keith's left ear was ringing loud. That's what happens when someone fires a gun near your ears. However, Keith wasn't new to firearms. Firearms was bascially child's play. You either get it or you don't. If you can't make marksman in a week to two weeks, then you had no business using a firearm.
However, when using firearms especially those without silencers, you have to have ear plugs. Even people that go out to the firing ranges wear things to cover their ears to suppress the sound. Leaving your ears unprotected for that long can constitute to hearing loss.
It seemed that the gun was indeed loaded. But Keith wasn't intimidated by the gunshot. But, Keith could feel the sensation of warm air touching the side of his ear from the gunshot. Bullets tend to leave a bullet trail of heat. But the main concern was the ringing sound in his left ear.
Then again with the calibur of highly skilled fighters roaming the halls of 259, having a firearm was pretty pointless. Take Mr. Katashi for example who was built like a tank. A gunshot would probably bounce off the man's chest without leaving a bruise.
How many bullets does he have in that thing?
"My warning, Mister Lucifer-lad. Now explain WHY you are in my room, and a man your age hasn't gotten a job yet, Lucifer-lad..."
He looked at the hole in the picture frame. Keith gave out a smile. The student tried his best to supress a laugh the best he could.
"It was either that, or I knocked you out with the hilt of gun, Lucifer-lad, but I want some answers, Lucifer-lad. You may take a seat now, Lucifer-lad."
He could barely make out the words with his left ear at the moment. Keith would have to depend on his right ear unless the man decided to fire the gun near his right ear. If that was the case, Keith would have to resort to using sign language.
The ringing sound wouldn't go away for a few hours at least. That's how loud gunshots are when a weapon is fired near the ear area.
"I'll be happy to explain my intentions. First, close the door and lock it. That gunshot was to make a point, I can understand. But the sound alone is more than enough to make a scene."
Keith could hear screams and other sounds of fear coming from the hallways.
"It won't be long until the hallways get pretty chaotic because you decided to fire a gun. Gunshots tend to be louder indoors. Perhaps in a few seconds someone might panic and hit the fire alarms."
That was something Keith had to point out to the man. Now he would have this meeting while dealing with the ringing sensation in the left ear.
I need ear plugs next time...

"It won't be long until the hallways get pretty chaotic because you decided to fire a gun. Gunshots tend to be louder indoors. Perhaps in a few seconds someone might panic and hit the fire alarms." "Ah, but of course, Lucifer-lad. I was debating of whether or not to blame the shot on you, though, As of course, since you are 'breaking in' to my room... Lucifer-lad," came the quietly cool-headed reply.*CLICK* For a moment, "Kaufman" stood at the door, even after he locked it. His hand just holding the gun out, ready to holster it, just like that. But it was as though his hand was frozen, and he was shuddering slightly. ...Perhaps the noise was amplified a little... 'too' much in here. Should've had Lucifer-lad lock the door, but, the point was made, and if this was just some up-tight punk, he'd deal with him accordingly in his records.
The hand was frozen--- There.
Straightening up his coat around himself, he walked over, his face plastered with the simple smile he had conveyed in the beginning. But he wasn't getting a straight answer out of the boy. Ignoring the screams of panic, knowing they'd die down, he figured that it would just be blamed on a fire-cracker being set off in school or some other thing one of these stupid runts would do. Ignoring the incinerated photo of the former Supervisor, he let his hands take over to the computer, turning off the screen saver. At once, a plethora of all of Keith's academic information shot onto "Kaufman's" view. A transfer. That was the familiarity. From 552, no less? Ah well... seems here he was among the quieter ones.. College freshmen. Hmm..--- Well, clean, for the most part, aside from some fights, but who didn't do that, at this school? Only rumors and unconfirmed, so, he had nothing against the boy.
Swiveling his chair, he locked on all information onto the boy."...Well then, Lucifer-lad?"

OOC: Is Kaufman typing with one hand with the gun aimed at Keith with the other?
Keith moved his eyes in the man's direction watching him walk to his chair and go on the comptuer. But Keith made sure to sit still and remain calm.
"...Well then, Lucifer-lad?"
It was time for Keith to give his explanation to the man. He would have to point out the obvious, that Mr. Asiv was dead. But Keith didn't know if this man was working closely with Asiv or not. There was Kazahana but he seemed to have faded from the scene.
"Mr. Asiv is dead which we already know. I just recently finished my senior year here at 259 when all the chaos erupted," Keith calmly explained.
Keith made sure to keep note that this person still had a gun trained on him. It was a nice looking gun as well. This man sure had taste. But this seemed to be a very intense moment. Keith would have to be serious and professional about this as possible.
"Asiv and I were in the middle of an agreement until that unfortunate event," Keith seriously explained. Without Asiv, Keith lost a potential customer. He somewhat knew Asiv, but he didn't know the man who still had the gun trained on him.
"With Asiv gone, the verbal agreement is no more."
Hopefully this man would understand when one person dies, the verbal agreement is dead. There was no written agreement in place.
"Asiv enlightened me on some very interesting things. I was wondering how closely have you worked with Mr. Asiv?"
Keith needed to get the answers from this person.

Security Measures "Mr. Asiv is dead which we already know. I just recently finished my senior year here at 259 when all the chaos erupted," Right then... "Kaufman" didn't even feign any sadness over that remark, as he slowly drew his gun again, sort of just aiming it at the person sitting across from him, as his eyes travelled from Lucifer-lad to the computer, his left hand going to extra lengths to typing, but not so much of a hassle."Asiv and I were in the middle of an agreement until that unfortunate event," "Kaufman" was tempted to say, 'I don't care, Lucifer-lad', but.. his lips made no movement. For now, this was just the foreplay. Lightly, he played with the hammer, but didn't move any moves with his forefinger to actually 'draw' it back.---"Asiv enlightened me on some very interesting things. I was wondering how closely have you worked with Mr. Asiv?" *cla-click*...
Slowly, "Kaufman" shifted his head, until he only saw Lucifer-lad. But his left hand never left the keyboard. Slowly, on the monitor, an enforcer's name was moved and put under Keith Lucifer's name. "...Oh really, Lucifer-lad?"Keith Lucifer-lad would from here-on, be put under surveillance. He hoped the boy knew what he was doing. Teeth bared, as he gave a slight grin."...I knew him well enough to figure he was vulnerable character to our business, to his own business, Asiv-lad. Brave man, Mr. Asiv-lad. Had uttermost respect for him, the Supervisor-lad. Pity for him, I must say, Lucifer-lad." Of course... from the look of "Kaufman's" eyes.. there was no remorse. In fact, there was a seeming amount of anger, boiling over. Tightly secured, of course.
The door clicked open, and a black-capped man walked into the room, locking the door behind himself, as he stood in front of the door. My, how the Enforcers were efficient."...Now then... you are going to tell me, what this 'verbal agreement' you made with Mr. Asiv-lad was, Lucifer-lad. Every single drop, Lucifer-lad. Mr. McConnely lad in the back is completely on my side, so there are no security risks here... except you, lad."Leveling the barrel down.
Your move, now, lad.
Enlighten me.

Keith didn't even know what this man was doing on the computer. He could assume that the person was trying to dig up any available information on him. Before Keith transferred, he made sure to falsify his personal information. This meeting wasn't the reason for it.
Though he was impressed that the Dean could keep a gun trained while typing on the computer at the same time. That was definitely some great skill.
"...Oh really, Lucifer-lad?"
Why does he say lad at the end of every name?
"...I knew him well enough to figure he was vulnerable character to our business, to his own business, Asiv-lad. Brave man, Mr. Asiv-lad. Had uttermost respect for him, the Supervisor-lad. Pity for him, I must say, Lucifer-lad."
Keith remained calm in his seat while dealing with the ringing sensation in his left ear. He continued to listen to the man's explanation. After hearing "business" two times, Keith could assume that this man knew what Asiv's operations were.
The train of thought was interrupted by the sound of the door knob clicking and turning. Seemed that someone entered the door. Perhaps this person had a key to get into the office. Keith could assume it was one of those enforcers strung up on that Brimstone or one of those colored drugs.
"...Now then... you are going to tell me, what this 'verbal agreement' you made with Mr. Asiv-lad was, Lucifer-lad. Every single drop, Lucifer-lad. Mr. McConnely lad in the back is completely on my side, so there are no security risks here... except you, lad."
It would seem the man had Keith at checkmate. It didn't mean he had Keith at checkmate.
"Alright. It happened in a matter of days. Don't know if Asiv had enough time to tell you this. But are you familiar with a drug called Reaper?"
Keith had a feeling he might have to explain to the man about Reaper.

OOC: Okay. Sorry for taking so long, and sorry for the short post... but, for the sake of flow, I'll be direct.Reaper?... "Alright. It happened in a matter of days. Don't know if Asiv had enough time to tell you this. But are you familiar with a drug called Reaper?" Ears perked up."...As I said before, Lucifer-lad... every drop, Lucifer-lad. Explain."For once, "Kaufman" fidgeted. What was this...?"...And I mean every detail."OOC: An OOC formula of how it would typically be represented would be appreciated, or, a IC 'drawn out' how it looks like, formula... whatever thing. Basically, a copy of how it would look like, if included in a person's inventory.

OOC: I'll try my best to explain. Leon knows what the Reaper is. If you need additional info, you can ask him as well.
"...As I said before, Lucifer-lad... every drop, Lucifer-lad. Explain."
Then this person figeted. Behind those shades, Keith would raise a brow. Asiv never reacted in that manner. Perhaps this man was a bit nervous.
"...And I mean every detail."
Keith cleared his throat.
"Before I tell you that. I have to explain to you the history of a gang that attacked 552. It was long before I enrolled at 552. You see, there was a gang known as the "Dragons" that attacked. Each member would represent a known element of the sort. I've barely gotten enough info. But it was more than enough," he explained.
He would pause for a second before continuing.
"How I obtained this information on the story, I have connections with members of a defunct group of 552 known as the Collosai. The Collosai from what I have heard were rivals of the Reign of Blood. But Collosai was growing weak and disbanded and joined up with a group that decided to attempt a "resurrection" from its ashes. A group called Nocturne. I have connections with members of Nocturne. Through Nocturne, I obtained the info on the story of the Dragons."
Keith would allow the man to digest that information. He wasn't going to go fast. The high school graduate wanted the man to understand every bit of information.
"Shall I continue?"

OOC: >_> Well.. what else am I supposed to say? Getting to the point.*Click* "Shall I continue?" Left hand pausing the voice recorder for a second, "Kaufman" eyed the Asian. So, Nocturne, Dragons, Collasai, and 'Reign of Blood'. That still didn't give him anything to work with.
He grimaced."...Proceed, boy-lad."

OOC: The Click More Than Suffices
There was the clicking sound probably from the gun. Though the panic of the gunshot earlier may subside. There would be panicked invidividuals rash enough to call Five-0 or the cops.
"...Proceed, boy-lad."
Keith gave a calm and casual nod. Guess it was his cue to proceed with the explanation.
"From what I learned that the Dragons seemed to represent different elements. Something I managed to get out from the former leader of Equilbrium, Tiel Sagara. But the most interesting thing I learned was items left behind by a person that called himself the Bone Dragon."
That was what Keith had learned from the leader of the Collosai.
"She told me about items the Bone Dragon left behind. This girl posseses one of them. But a former 552 Pillar and a Nocturne whose name I shall not disclose received a thing of pills called "Reaper" which the Bone Dragon ingested out of desperation in a drawn out battle."
Keith would wait for the man to to digest this info before proceeding.
"One of those babies right there will double ones own strength and speed. At the same time halves a person's intelligence and fortitude from what the Collosai leader explained to me. That's the drawback. You become a primative animal as a result. You can't think straight and you're going on pure animalistic instincts."
That was the result from what Linda and Saito told him.
"I wasn't able to obtain a sample of the Reaper Pills in the past. However, the Collosai leader was kind enough to divulge some juicy information. She set up a drug lab somewhere in New ork City that made counterfeit Reaper. They mimic the effects of the real deal. But there's one catch. They die a violent and painful death. A fitting demise. I managed to obtain the formula for the fakes."
That should be a lot for that man to digest.
"Shall I give you a few moments to allow you to digest that information? It is a mouthful."

OOC: For clarification, the click came from the voice recorder that "Kaufman" turned on and off, but he stills does have the gun pointed at you, at this point."No Need For Alarm Officer, Just A Fire Cracker..." "Shall I give you a few moments to allow you to digest that information? It is a mouthful." Nothing stirred in the room. The enforcer was exceptionally quiet. No sounds of breathing came from "Kaufman". ...But inside his mind, things were whirling. Things were spinning. Piece by piece, restructuring. Understanding again and again.
---All hitting one deadlock. Didn't even need more than a single moment, as his eyes narrowed."...I do hope this goes somewhere beneficial, boy-lad... I have no use for such 'products' that kill the user, after all."A smirk on his face, but his eyes were being nothing short of 'dead' serious. Eyes playing all over the man, to see for all movement.*Rumble*
*RUMBLE*
*Rumble*...Enforcers were efficient. 'Ender' may not like them, but the Student Dean had pushed for their remaining here for a while. Why? Well if Keith were to look to the left, he'd see a heavy book shelf that was higher than the window itself, pushed in front of the window. Effectively barricading themselves in, in case Keith was a bit of an acrobat. The door was locked, which would require at least a few minutes to break it down. And all the while, "Kaufman" had a clear shot.
The enforcer stepping back in front of the door would make sure of that."...Please proceed.... Lucifer-lad."For a while, there police sirens. But the Enforcers would tend to them shortly. Come up with an explanation.
The boy had information, had intelligence, so for that sake, "Kaufman" was willing to humor the boy a little bit longer. But if all he offered were 'fakes'..."As I said, lad,"
"Please. Proceed. Lucifer. Lad."
|

Post by Keith on Aug 7, 2007 11:21:39 GMT -8
OOC: Ah.
There was dead silence. Keith didn't care to observe the enforcer that would be standing behind him. But Keith was prepared just in case the enforcer tried something "stupid". Keith's main focus was on that man sitting behind the desk across from him.
He didn't want to have to use the enforcer as a possible human shield in the future.
"...I do hope this goes somewhere beneficial, boy-lad... I have no use for such 'products' that kill the user, after all."
Keith had no intentions of selling it in that form. But that was barely scratching the surface.
There were rumbling noises coming from outside. Keith ignored that. This explanation was going to be quite a long one.
"...Please proceed.... Lucifer-lad."
Then there were the police sirens.
"As I said, lad,"
"Please. Proceed. Lucifer. Lad."
"I wouldn't have come if the fakes were all I had to offer. I managed to obtain the formula for the fakes. When I transferred, I heard rumors about Asiv and Brimstone. Along with a man named Kazahana. I was going to offer Asiv the fake formula in hopes he could refine it into something new. It would seem that the fakes seemed to be unrefined of the sort."
That was what Keith could hypothesize.
"By fate, that former pillar and Nocturne member transferred. He brought with him those Reaper pills. Using the many advanced labs here on campus, we simply reverse engineered the Reaper pills."
Saito was right to be concerned about possibly duplication of the actual Reaper.
"It's like how there are cheap knock-offs of Coca-Cola such as Chek and Sam's Choice. They couldn't steal the actual recipe which would constitute to corporate espionage. But that would be very expensive. They did the next best thing, reverse engineer the soda and they got the fomula."
Keith hoped that man got the picture that he got the formula for the actual Reaper as well.
"Do you understand what I'm getting at?"
