-- The fidgeting in the pocket stopped, and both hands came up into half closed fists, giving the silver haired boy the ability to punch, or grab a limb at a moment’s notice.
This ought to be fun.
-- Adrenaline shot through his veins like a raging river. And those nerves he had trained began to tingle, ready to “frenzy” at the given moment. Though it was pretty much a double edged sword, it had its benefits. And this would be a great time to test it out.
Maybe I’ll get to finally use those pills. That’d be cool. I wonder what the taste like. Maybe chocolate? I like chocolate. Or cheese. Cheese is pretty good.
“Would you like to do the honors?” Saito asked as he gestured for Valo to make the first move.

Valo grinned before disappearing from sight. His speed would allow him to travel faster than anyone had previously seen, but he wasn't using it to his full potential yet...
Valo would quickly dash around to Saito's left, landing in a crouching position. From there, his right foot would be coming towards the back of his legs to knock him down with a sweep kick. Right now, his greaves weren't activated, he hadn't channeled his energy into them yet. But that meant his collar would allow him to attack with ungodly strength. If he needed to, he'd sacrifice that strength for legendary speed, proving to Saito how much better Valo had become now.

Disappear from sight?
There are other senses.
-- Saito’s serpentine eyes narrowed, and Valo might see his left fingers twitch a little. Every movement made went against the air, and generated a little disturbance in the invisible medium. Picking it up just depended on how sensitive one was.
There.
-- Turning to his left while sliding to his right, Saito managed to, if narrowly, avoid the sweep.
Counter attack?
Nope.
Not yet.
*Twitch twitch*
Are those veins that are starting to bulge out of his skin? I mean, it's not THAT noticeable. Yet. But still... Ew...
He HAS gotten better.
-- Inside, Saito grinned. This was feeling exciting already. And if Valo had more to show him, then… Well, the loopy Korean kid wouldn’t mind bringing out his full potential either.
Yea! I might get to eat the cheese pills!

Valo grinned, his eyes staying locked on Saito. He quickly rose to his feet, quickly shooting off again, once more on the move. He would run in circles around Saito, gaining more and more speed as he did so.  "Woot! This is fun!" ^_^ He hoped to move fast enough to create an afterimage, hoping to confuse Saito before he would come in from behind his friend, his right shoulder forward to slam into his upper back. =O |

Hopefully it’ll still be fun when we start getting the bruises. Bruises are fun, right?
-- Valo ran in circles around Saito, and the four-eyed (glasses reference) student just stood in the middle.
Bulging a little more? Gross.
-- Though his eyes might confuse him, his ears wouldn’t. The flow of air wouldn’t. Every foot step was heard, thanks to the now really sensitive nerves in Saito’s body.
Tippitytappitytippitytappity… I heeeeeEEEEEEEEAAAARR jooooo~.
-- Even at 552, Saito always relied on reading his opponents movements, looking for the flaw or opening, and then going in for it. Here, it was no different. Well, minus the fact he gained this ability over his nervous system.
-- The footsteps stopped, the circular flow of air halted. Saito snapped his neck to the side, making eye contact with his friend, and that Shoulder… Slammy… Attack… Thingy.
!
-- Whirling to his right and crouching lower as he turned, Saito managed to not get slammed at full force. Valo on the other hand, managed to send Saito stumbling forward, off balance, but not before the silver haired boy’s right elbow made contact with Valo’s lower back, a vulnerable point. It was basically a kidney shot. Not at full force, of course. That would’ve been very, very painful. It did have enough power though, to stun Valo long enough for Saito to get his balance back.

Valo's attack hadn't connected as he had hoped, and Squishy rolled to the side after taking that blow from Saito. It had stunned him, knocking a lil' bit of air out of his system, but it was nothing for Squishy Valo! He quickly rolled over into a crouching position, that same grin staying on his face as he realized Saito still wasn't a fool. Valo's grin turned to a smirk as he channeled his Qi into his Greaves, the shinguards-that-were-pretty-much-toe-guards-too started to glow white, and Valo would be able to double his speed at this rate. (To 104 instead of 52.) "Want to attack next, friend?" |
