So im new to this whole forum RP thing. Im used to rping on sites like The Keep. It would be awesome if someone could explain to me how comabt goes and if i can engage in combat as muchor as little as i want? WELCOME TO PHS 259!
Well now that I got that out of the way, Combat is very freeform and follows a sort of One-upmanship, with stats being used as a sort of milestone to keep in mind.
Go ahead and check out the Tournament sub forum and peruse the various fights there.
Also noone will force you to fight (Out of Character anyway) With some exceptions but they involve Storyline Canon and such.

Also the Admins might ding you for having a short History. Generaly they want at least 2 paragraphs.

Double-Post: If the above link is a "tl;dr" thing: -PHS 259 was bombed out with missiles. -The whole world was bombed out with missiles. -There is no internet. -Unless you're in a neutral zone, chances are you're probably in Barker territory, trying to avoid enslavement. -Barker Solders are trained and typically come with one of Barker's Experiments. -No government exists in the world anymore. OK so i updated the old character sheet to reflect the changed world. I put down that i kind of wander around because i am looking for someone so i dont really have anywhere to stay and that i just sleep where i can. I also put in what i hope was a unique character trait. If you guys think its too over the top then please tell me. I'm not exactly sure as to how much detail i should go into about his past though.
As far as us being the resistance i think that it would be within my characters behavior to generally avoid authority for the most part.
Im glad someone on this forum actually found something about my character interesting. I had feared that everyone would be all anti noob and just ignore me.

I would like to get some feed back on how my posts are going. Are they long enough? (thats what she said) Are they discriptive enough? Do they flow well? Am i not giving them room to responde to my post? Anyhting you can think of to help me get a bit better would be awesome.

Well as one of your thread buddies, I can honestly say I'm liking what I've been seeing so far.
By the way, I CANNOT Stop seeing Dib from Invader Zim everytime I imagine your character. So Hilariously paranoid ^_^
The way I see it, If your posts are enjoyable to read, then your doing it right. And so far I've been enjoying myself.
I WAS going to bother you about Wall-o-text, but you seemed to fix that up too.

I think i have kind of posted myself into a corner. Im not really sure where to go from here. Myabe someone here who has been reading whats going on might have a few pointers on where i can go. I know its noobish to ask others where i should go with my charater but i just cant think anything.
Dont get me wrong i have a general idea of where i want to go and what i want to do but as far as how to get there.....
Also i know some people might be wonderign where this is taking place. It is Directly north of where PHS 259 used to be in the non government controlled sight.
Hope you to rp get into more complex RPs soon

Private Message anyone and everyone. Law of averages dictate that SOMEBODY will accept an invite. You might catch mabey 3 or more people that way.
Once you do that, your character will become more and more known throughout the 259 world. You're already under Marcus' Radar and soon you'll be under others as well, if you impress them In character and out, they will start seeking YOU out for threads for one reason or another.
Basicaly dont get discouraged and dont be afraid to just plain ask people.
