2--5--9.deviantart.com/JOOOOOOIN. You've heard my thoughts on the character. Didn't notice that one eye was discolored, though... ---Putting aside Marianne, really, sketch or no, you still pay special attention to the shading, like on the crinkles on the front and the back of the shirt, a little etching on the belt, and even do some of the hair without full outlining. The background is very fitting, considering what she's gone through in the past and looks like a bit of an sidewalk cutting across the middle of a park or something. I really hope to see Olesya back in action again soon. And hopefully a little less sad/uncertain. ^_^ Really, welcome back, Ally.

Hahahah yeah Im working on it xP My other RP up and closed on me so now that I'm less dying from the plague I can finish my bio >__> I just have the history to do which wouldn't seem like much but DAMN she's got a long convoluted history at this point.
Edit: And the mismatched eyes are from the unothodoxed treatments she received at the asylum and halfway house after Unfettered last saw her. The electric blue was from the experimentation, the hazel is her original eye color. They never got to finish the treatments.

Seeing the larger picture allows me to see details I wasn't able to from before. XD Well, things established: -This was done while the internet was down, so not all the tools available may have been... well, available. -This is a traced, but modified, image, though what it comes from may not be as recognizable without the massive cleavage. That said, I maintain my previous statements: -I love the fact that it's more of a 1st person view of Olesya as opposed to of a character just being viewed. -I love the fact that this is an action-image. -It still exudes the "strong & sexy" thing. Things I'm now able to notice, that I'm sure you have as well: -The lips... meh. It almost seems as though it'd be better as just the simple manga-esque line. Like you, though, I'm glad you experimented with this nonetheless. -There is a lack of muscular structure. The differentiation between the shoulder and the bicep is good, but damn, this is Olesya! Muscles look good on girls too, however slight or however emphasized. New things I can appreciated: -The up-to-down diagonal angle is hard but is SO GOOD. I'm glad your practicing with it, and makes me excited for your future drawings. -As usual, you pay special attention to the shading and are very consistent with the light source's angle. -The font is solid and screams Olesya's style. Personal Gripes (>.>) -Her "size" isn't as large... ;_; A GOOD IMAGE. And a funny, avatar-worthy Chibi image follow-up. XD *thumbs up*

REQUEST MADE =D
I WILL DRAW YOU AS WELL
-runs-
On a personal note, GFD, I have SUCH a hard time with hands in the simplest of aspects. If it takes me four-six hours to draw an image, I probably spend two hours at LEAST on the hands. Seeing what you're doing with the shading adds great dimension to the hands, and because that's something I struggle with in particular, I can REALLY appreciate it. I am not only jealous, but will seek to emulate your styling of hands.
The lips kind of jar the image, though, but I think you DIDN'T want to do the same-old-manga line again, right? Because Delilah is a particularly masculine character, what I usually do is have the mouth line with only the bottom lip (although I can't help myself and usually draw the upper lip anyway because I'm OCD about faces). I also make sure that I don't connect the bottom lip too much because they tend to look somewhat pasted on when I do it that way. I do strongly believe that the upper lip, when used, should always be fixed to the line of the mouth
More than that, I think it's the colour of the lips that I don't like, actually xD;. They're too dark and don't quite compliment her skin and hair tone, but that's so minor I'm surprised I even realized it.
Otherwise, I LOVE IT. Especially the chibi. I love the shading and the motion of the hair and the COLLARBONE. I fucking love collarbones. I especially love the way you drew the jeans and tanktop in the first image, particularly with the shading. So...much...WANT!

Yeah the more I look at it the more I don't like my second drawing. I struggled a lot with the facial features because lips can be so damn difficult! I also realized that I saved the PSD wrong, so I'll have to start the drawing all over again, which really isn't that big of a deal. It's mostly getting used to drawing with the tablet and drawing people, specifically anatomy (which, to be honest, is a huuuuuuuge weakness of mine). I'm loving the critiques! It's been a while since I've actually made art so getting back into the swing of things and showing them off has been a huge inspiration, so the more feedback I can get, the better. My newest conquest is taking a photograph and transform it into a vector/anime style drawing. That way it isn't direct tracing (which the first one was about 75% trace and the second about 50%...working my way down), and I can work on developing an eye for shapes and color nuances that come together to make an awesome image This is in progress. Estimated work time 1.5 hours. I still need to add the white to her hair before moving on to the rest of the drawing. Edit: Also Mikey, in response to her 'size,' Olesya has been more or less malnourished on the streets, she gained some of it back when she was at the halfway house, but her bio even states that she's lost some muscle mass and body fat, and since boobs are like 90% fat....yeah.
