Double Halberd Snake Spear Of Orion: (+1 Strength, +1 Dexterity, +5 Charisma [+10 Charisma If Wielded By Orion], +2 All Statistics To Experiment NPCs In Thread)
Details: A custom-crafted halberd by a mastersmith Experiment of Chinese origin for the man known as Orion. The stainless steel head and counterweight seem to have been tempered with an unknown substance, not only requiring that the wielder never has to worry about rust, but appears to possess special properties, tailored particularly for the wielder. In lieu of poor soul that he rescued, the "snake" design was chosen for Orion as symbolic testament to this moment of virtue and the individual involved. The red tassel appears to absorb any blood that drips from the blade, which doesn't appear to wash out and affects the whole tassel evenly, making it a brighter and brighter crimson every time the blade tastes blood. The wooden shaft is hollowed out, possessing an unknown metal that allows for both consistent rigidity as well as flexible so that the weapon is mostly indestructible. The blade doesn't appear capable of chipping and is sharp enough to draw blood at a simple touch.
The design of the halberd allows it to be swung overhead with great momentum, though the build-up to the overhead swing itself is slower, but possessing higher destruction/penetrating capabilities. It also serves as a splendid spear and seems to "enjoy" stabbing into things. The counterweight is excellent for utilizing a more blunt and perhaps faster method of attacking. Its reach allows for the user to make the first attack with ease and from a safe distance. The shaft itself lends the user surprisingly wonderful grip, seeming to almost mold underneath Orion's hands for maximum grip, making it difficult for the weapon to be knocked away from the wielder's grasp.
