OOC((Kiyoshi first, continued from here.)) David stepped toward the building Olesya had pointed out, knowing that it was likely, within the hour, he'd be standing next to an older, wiser and probably even more stubborn white haired German. It had been so many years since he had actually spoken with the male, he wouldn't lie and say he wasn't nervous. Not in the sense that he was afraid, or anything, but more that he was confused as the what the man's reaction would be. They hadn't been on the best of terms after their last meeting, Jon having been rather... frustrated with David's attitude. Understandably, of course, what with the circumstances. He knew that having the stress of being a leader was probably something the male didn't take lightly. Having Dave come back only to ask him for his help.... He stopped at the threshold, stepping aside as someone walked out. He glanced down, thought a moment, and then turned away. He honestly didn't want to have that confrontation. Not now, anyway. Unfettered always tried to find some scenario, some test, to put someone through, to see who they were as a person. Jumping through hoops was not what he wanted to do for the afternoon. So, he walked through the rubble, passing by people, on his way to another building Les had pointed out, the one Kiyoshi was staying in. She had given him a little info on each building, this one being where another of the leaders was apparently staying. David didn't have a full memory of ever meeting Kiyoshi, though he was sure, at some point, they had run into each other. Never fought, so far as he could recall, as they were generally up to other things. He stood outside the building, and unless interrupted, would step up and either knock or, if the building had no door, walk inside.

Poke... poke... poke...
"Ugh... whaaaaaaat?"
"Boss, there's a guy here to see you."
"Aboooooout?"
"... we didn't ask."
"You guys fucking suuuuuuuuck."
"Should we tell him to wait until your hangover is gone?"
"Ugh... noooooo. I'm comin'."
David would be brought into the main room of the Crows' Nest, which had once been a club dance floor and now served as eating hall as well as indoor training and meeting room. He would be told to wait their as Crows and the people under their protection would go about their business. Nothing really spectacular save for a odd sense of normalcy at the end of the world brought about by those who wanted no responsibility and only to live free on their own terms. I believe that classifies as irony.
Meanwhile two of the original Crows were goading their hungover leader out of the chair in the war room he'd passed out in... upside down. Slowly Kiyoshi staggered to his feet and walked out into the common room, the two Crows following at each side of their leader, who only had a loose pair of sweatpants on. He visibly winced from the sunlight as he entered.
"... who was it again?"

David sat, setting his backpack down by his feet before leaning back in the chair he had claimed and letting out a little breath. It had been a long time since he had been around this many people. Since before the bombings. He usually stuck to areas that were either unoccupied or too run down for anyone to care to take over. He smiled as a girl handed him a cup of what appeared to be water, taking a little sip before setting it down on the floor by his pack and glancing up at the man who entered the room.
Hair disheveled, sweatpants and no shirt.... David tried not to grin. The man looked like he woke up on the wrong side of a bull-fight. He cleared his throat a little before standing and offering his hand for a shake.
"David Blaze." He would grin before shaking his head a little and looking at the ground. With a thumb, he would point back at the door. "I was just...ah...passing by when I met Olesya. She said you guys were building an army, and might be able to help me out."
He didn't know if Kiyoshi remembered him or not. It didn't seem likely, given the fact they had only ever interacted when the school came under fire, like during the attack several years earlier by a man named Zeus. Still, it wasn't like he expected anything. The worse case scenario was that the man told him to blow it out his ass, and he could ask Les if she'd be willing to head downtown with him, deep into Barker territory. It wasn't like there was going to be much trouble, right?

Kiyoshi gave David the blankest of stares. He barely remember what happened yesterday nevermind what happened before the world ended. Still he waited a moment to give the guy a solid look up and down. The Crows' leader, or lord as he was slowly becoming, wasn't really a fan of charity but the woman in his life had convinced him of it's merits. Granted that wasn't by kindness but by threats of violence and long speeches.
"What'dya need?"
He managed to spurt out after a while.

Awkward.
'Could someone get this man some Advil, or some alkaseltzer plus?'
He put a hand behind his head, scratching a little before continuing.
"Well...I've got some things i need to collect from a building in the downtown area. Files and the ilk. Olesya said it might be a little dangerous heading there alone, so i figured I could pay you to have some guys head there with me. Not in money, obviously. But i have supplies there- medicine, some weapons, armor. A small team is all i'd really need. Just enough to help carry those supplies."
He almost wanted to ask someone to grab the man a chair. David didn't know if the guy was going to pass out, or throw up. Neither sounded like something he wanted to witness, and to be honest he wasn't sure he couldn't just find a truck to help haul back the items. Still, having more hands than just his two would definitely be helpful, and he supposed the idea of extra rations and supplies might be something the leader would be in two dealing for.

"How much... 'stuff'?"
Kiyoshi asked rather bluntly, wanting to make sure he had every possible detail at his disposal before making the choice on whether or not to help. He couldn't afford mistakes against the likes of Barker and allies weren't if hefty supply. Though, David would have had better luck if Kiyoshi knew who the hell Olesya was, that name was falling on unfamiliar ears. He'd wait for first question to be answered before asking another.
"What makes the files so important anyway? I mean, why should I risk my men for them when we've got a city to save? And what do you plan to do when you get them? Hmm?"

David shrugged.
"I'm not exactly sure. Enough for a five or six people to live comfortably for a couple months. I had it stocked before the war and I was too busy at the time to be present when they loaded it. I assume it has things like insulin, Packaged morphine, bandages, A few medical crates, body armor and other various necessities like food and clean water. It's only one of several places I had, but it's definitely the closest and most likely to still be intact."
He chewed his lip a moment.
"I think it should be more than enough for you to be satisfied with getting it. I need the files for business of my own- you can consider this a mission for your cause, to gain supplies and scout the area, with my tagging along to pick up what i need. Exactly what I want to get and why isn't part of the deal- I just need an escort, and the payment is supplies.""
He wasn't in the business of giving away information that was sensitive to him, and in his opinion, giving the man thousands of dollars for nothing seemed like enough to him. He wasn't asking him to fight his way there, as this would be more of a covert operation. Still, he supposed he could understand the hesitancy, seeing as how he was a stranger asking for men and time. But he felt that it would be well worth the risk.
OOC EDIT:
Mini-quest "Oven Cover" offered.

Kiyoshi didn't make the slightest effort to hide his displeasure at the answers he's given, especially given what that all sounds like. The last thing the leader wants to do is risk his men so some hitman can retrieve his stash, however this 'David Blaze' had at least offered some decent payment for the task. Rebuilding a city took massive amounts of resources. The displeased leader stood there in hungover, head-splitting, contemplation about what would be the best course of action.
"What's your time-table?"

"I'd like to leave within the next forty-eight hours, and it shouldn't take more than a day to walk there, gather supplies, and make it back. If you need more time to prep than that, or if your in the middle of an operation, I'm flexible on the time we leave."
David honestly hadn't thought the guy was going to accept anything from him. David thought he looked like a trustworthy guy, but the problem with the entire situation was the lack of information on what he was giving. People liked to get as much information as possible on the target, location, time frames, weight, etc. All he was offering was a guarantee for payment and a place to go.
Still, he also knew the stresses of having an army as well as a populace to feed and take care of, and for him the prospect of supplements and meds would be enough to send him over the edge. You never really knew how much medical supplies people used until you were the one looking after them.
He stuck his hands in his pockets and waited for a response.

Kiyoshi was quiet for another long moment before sighing softly. Unfettered probably wasn't going to like this but...
"We'll take one of the cars we had fixed up. You and me... capiche?"
Those were his turns, non-negotiable. Though if one of his PC comrades wanted in they could; maximum of two.

He nodded.
"Alright. I'll be bringing a friend along as well. I'll stop by tomorrow morning- we can leave then."
David would scoop up his bag and down the rest of the water before heading out the door and back toward Olesya's. He hoped she would be willing to come along- he told Kiyoshi he'd be bringing a friend, and she's exactly what he had in mind. He figured he might bring August as well.
