Vetis was training outside. A full sized human shapped dummy was being poked. Now all though Vetis would be considered a perv by most it was not the kind of poked that instatly came to 99% of your minds as you read this sentence and conjured up a mental image of a man humping a sex doll, outside. No this type of dummy was very special. It was a training dummy for those who practiced the fine art of pressure points. It had been nearly two years since he had started working seriously with this art form and the wear in various spots of the dummy showed a pay off to anyone with an adequate eye for detail.
He took to his other training leaving his dummy alone for the time being. Acrobatics was next. It was a bit new for him but he was already fairly flexible and given his past times being more flexible and able to do gymnastics might sound a bit gay but it sure as shit looked aswesome when he was able to use these moves to his advantage in a fight.

David is inside, trying to repair a cabinet that seemed quite old, and worth a bit of money. His main concern, however, was to use it for a storage container for future weapons.
August and Youichi are not home.

Orion is inside of a warehouse that Takehiro... graciously donated to him after clearing out the Valor goons there. With him were a number of tech inclined locals that he had convinced to help him. Various medieval weapons were in construction, a line molotovs sat on a crate, and Orion himself was looking over plans for a catapult.
Why was all this being made? Because eventually, they would need to move against Barker. Last time, Orion had been caught off guard and lacked resources. This time, he was going to make damn sure he was prepared. He would be prepared to tear the damn fort down if it meant getting Barker's presence out of the area.
It was also a nice way to kill time between beating the shit out of gangsters and trying to locate the Exiles of the Experiments.

The worlds power kicks back on, internet, and everything. Vehicles are still mostly screwed, if anyone is near a radio or T.V they will hear this.
"Greetings United States of America. I am Sean Barker. Most of you dont know me, but over the course of the next few months you will. Right now, over seventy-five percent of the world is under my control.
I'll be holding a meeting tomorrow afternoon in South California. Any interested parties may attend as long as there is room. You know who I mean."
((You have one or two post replies left to ask me the admin about possible moves or plans you can make before we time skip to the meeting.))

David would start, jumping a little as lights slashed on around him. From the other room, he heard static coming from an old worn radio in the corner. A voice- barkers voice- would ring through it.
A meeting?
That did not sound good.
He rushed from the room, picking up a sweater as he went, heading straight for Olesya to see if she had heard it.

Zyxon had spent most of his day on Crows territiory, but had wondered of later in the day (before power turned on). I wonder where Orion is, he thought, since he had recently seen him. Hmm. I should go find him.
He had heard around where he might be, but, of course, nothing would go according to plan.
*FLASH*
Lights? Voices? Barker's voice?
Thankfully, he was near a warehouse, so he ran toward it and continued to list. Meeting? Hmmm.

Delilah was in the garage in the Crows' base, repairing yet another bike that had been damaged during the cavalry training exercises. The pistons were full of silt, an occurrence that was becoming more and more of a problem. Her head bent in concentration, Delilah chewed on her lower lip as she worked, thinking that perhaps the suspension could use a tune up as well.
She was alone for the moment. Just her and the steady whirl of her thoughts, the clank of her wrench. She had sent the other mechanics on a lunch while she finished up the majority of the work they had been given for the day. It wasn't that she didn't like whom she was working with, just that she preferred working alone. But since she couldn't do that (the work load itself would have killed her on her own), she just took the free time when it presented itself. That was all she could do.
Suddenly, the radio kicked to life with a high pitched buzz. Delilah started with a yelp and looked at the old thing sitting up high on the shelf, now brazenly displaying it's lights as if it were on the entire time.
“What in God's name...?”
“Holy shit.”
She discarded her wrench without so much as a second thought, running full tilt out of the garage and down the hall, pulling her blue-tooth out of her pocket and jamming it on her ear.
“Sergei!”
“I copy, what's the--”
“No time for that! Barker just made a transmission! Go organize the others. I want Nick and Birch in this base at all times. Get them both ear pieces and have them report to me as soon as they have them. Get the others and bring them to the training room for a quick debrief in twenty minutes. As for you, go let Stu know and then get my sword. I'll meet you there. I need to go meet with the Zeros. Understood?”
“Ma'am yes ma'am.”
Her first stop would be “Unfettered”'s office, wherein she would listen to his instruction before heading out to Kiyoshi's location as fast as she could. After, she would head to the training room as she had stated before hand. Sergei would be waiting by the door, a cloth wrapped package in hand. He presented it to her as she approached his eyes lowered.
She accepted it briskly and began unwrapping it as she entered the room. Her heart was a steady thrum deep inside her ribs and her focus was singular. She had orders to give.
She looked at the five people assembled before her in admiration. They had all done well thus far in their training. But she couldn't take them all.
After a quick debriefing, Delilah picked her three and left the training room, looking around for Stu with her sword at her side. Talon would be watching Oliver while they were out, and he could be trusted beyond a shadow of a doubt (even though it pissed him off that this was all he would be doing this time around).

Near Orion was a radio. AS he began to speak to his subordinates about construction, it clicked on. And the voice of one unforgettable man made Orion's blood run cold, which was an impressive feat.
Barker!
Orion had seen the man across the battlefield. He had watched as Jaus was killed without inflicting any damage. And he had gathered that Barker was responsible for the world as it was now. And here was, declaring himself king? Orion spoke halfway through Barker's announcements.
"Alright, boys and girls. Looks like SOMEONE decided to announce himself. So that means.... it's time to greet him officially. I want weapons ready and I want them ready an hour ago! Jimmy, get me my crossbow!"
As the men all jumped, one running to the crossbows, Orion turned away from the schematics and opened a medical cabinet. This one was special: unlike the others near it, the cross sign had been replaced by a purple skull. Orion began to take out various liquids, reading their labels, shaking them a little, and then beginning to assemble them in front of him. As Jimmy came with Orion's crossbow, he looked up long enough to notice the entrance o. a newcomer.
"Zyxon. You heard the announcement I expect. Help yourself to some supplies, I have some surplus."
Some? Orion had a wall lined with various weapons, from axes to makeshift spears to a composite bow with arrows and even a few katanas. Around Orion were various medical cabinets, safely marked. And then there were the lines of corssbows and molotovs.
And, of course, there was Orion's "stash" of deadly liquids he had assembled, that he began to carefully coat upon his personal crossbow that he had recently acquired, a small hand one that would fit in a holster, along with 5 bolts next to it, tips down of course.

Having been in secluded training for such a long while with no need for power, Barkers message did not reach him the same as it did most others. Apparently it was an important event for a self important man. No instead of the use of technology it was the old fashioned way in which he would recieve his message. Courier.
When the man arrived with a letter addressed to him it was....disconcerting to say the least. Apparently he was having tabs kept on him to be reached in this location. It was not the first time he was found by this man. The last time was because of his ki. This time who knew? Tired of Barkers game he would send his reply. With his left hand he would reach for the letter. With his right he would burst forth using his index and middle fingers to strike hard and quick into the Xiphoid Process which connected the left and right rib cages. There was a weak area he knew about that when hit properly would cause the ribs to collapse and upon the victims movement impale there own lungs with bone.
Considering Barker has his letter sent with such exquisite penmenship it would only be right to take such ellegance and care in his reply. A few hours with a hack saw and he was quite ready to decline his invitation. He went to the underground. Since the power had gone out, couriers had become quite the lucrative buisness. There were certain folk who could get people things for the right things. Killing a Barker courier was a favor in and of its own. Competition being eliminated earned him the right to ask for his duffle bags to be sent to various known low tier bases. Inside each bag were various body parts. The head went straight to 259 where it was placed atop the old flag pole. That man had an unhealthy attachment to that place, Vetis was sure his message would be recieved.

He had been in a makeshit dojo, body slicked with sweat and the air heavy with it's musk. His shirt was thrown in the corner and he went through the motions that Del had taught him. He was no expert, but he was a brawler, and took to fighting quite well. He swung like a bat at times, but hey, no one's perfect.
The speaker system kicked on just after it started, Stu missing only the first part of the man's name. Someone knew this was important enough for everyone to hear and took care of making sure everyone did.
Or worse, Barker had some sort of way to patch it in himself. Stu shivered.
The speech finished, and he knew he'd be called on soon. He had taken to his duties quite well; people were beginning to warm up to him. Well, some of them.
Sheathed and re-clothed, he walked out into the hustling form of Sergei. Ahh, Del.
No words were spared, just a curt nod of understanding. He liked Sergei. Knew enough to shut the hell up. He was a good man.
He arrived after Del had debriefed everyone, meaning he missed the Unfettered meeting as well. He looked at her, and failed at suppressing a smirk. She looked hot as hell and fit in her suit and swords. He liked. He liked a lot. Confidence suited her.

David would come through the side door, having power walked from Olesya's house to here. She had not answered the door, so rather than stick around, he went to the next best location. Crows headquarters.
He noticed Delilah marching through the hall with a few people close behind. So, she obviously heard already. He'd call out as he jogged forward a little, using "del" to get her attention. If she turned toward him, he'd slow on approach.
"Mind if I come along?"
Technically, he wasn't a crow and he had no gear. Still, Any extra fists could be used, and it wasn't like he didn't know a thing or two about combat.

OOC: Sorry I know this is seriously late I just found it. I assume that's the posting order int he first post and not the available spots. I know I would be after stu, but David had already posted so yeah. If I'm allowed to continue I'll just be after Stu.
IC:
Jack was training outside the church, in the back where the makeshift graveyard used to be. All the bodies had been dug up years ago. All there was left of their memory was the tomb stones.
He used the largest tomb stone as a make shift human sized dummy. Not having wanted to waste precious material to make a dummy. Instead he had hand wraps with hundreds of strips of newspaper acting as the padding for his knuckles.
Practicing his boxing seven hours a day Jack began to slam his fists rhythmically into the stone slab in front of him. If you looked closely you could see where the stone had been worn down by his fists. The idea wasn't to break the stone in two. For if he had wished it, he could have done it without even exerting himself. No the idea was light fast punches. The result was an flurry of attacks that could not be stopped the opponent had no time to adjust to his speed so even the slow punches seemed lightning quick. He would work in a pattern, one, two three and then on the fourth beat he would throw a heavier punch. However in the next round he switched to a five beat rhythm. He added the third and fourth punches in by having them on a half beat before resuming back to his original four punch combo.
"JACK! COME!"
Must she bother me even while I'm training.
"HURRY! JUST COME ALREADY!"
Jack walked inside the church, everyone was huddled around the radio which had suddenly turned on. The light was working and even the heating. Suddenly everyone was bustling around.
"What are you going to do?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'll go."
"And do what?"
"I'll work that out when I get there, Father, Please excuse me"
Jack turned around and pushed passed the girl. Grabbed his combat kit and began to walk out. The girl hot on his tail.
"So that's it you're just going to leave us?"
"You'll be fine on your own, you have enough men to protect you and enough supplies to last you months no thanks to me"
"Then what about us?"
Jack had to turn for this one. "Us? There is no us girl! Look around, there is no nothing anymore. There is just survive! When I come back for you I want you to promise me you'll be stronger. The old man won't be around for ever someone will have to lead them. Maybe then you'll have grown a pair until then girly, good bye at least for now!"
He spun on his heals and walked off leaving her and the refuge he had known for months behind. By his hip he had his precious blade and slung through his backpack he had his trusty shotgun with five shells spare.

"Nigel, Cain, I need you two to go find Marcus Prasad. Let him know that Delilah Black asked for him personally, and let him know of the situation if he isn't already aware. Once you're done that, return here. Heather, you need to stay here and help out at the base and prep for an evac if nessecary. Get everyone that isn't coming to either assist in that or to reinforce our defenses. Am I understood?"
They gave their affirmations and were promptly dismissed by Delilah. Letting out a slow breath, she turned, catching Stu's eye. As he approached, and a small smile etched across her lips in spite of the seriousness of the situation, a certain softening of her features that was just for him. And it didn't hurt that he looked totally badass with that sword "Unfettered" gave him a couple of weeks earlier.
Hot~.
ANYWAY.
"What's the story, Twist?"
"Well, the first thing we need to do is--"
"Mind if I come along?"
Delilah turned to look at the speaker, surprised to find it was David. She stopped in her tracks, looked at David, then back at Stu.
"Actually, that was what I was about to say," She said with a light laugh. She turned back to David. "I was just about to look for you, actually. I'd be grateful to have you."
Delilah would start walking again, talking as she went. "David, you and I will be joined by 'Unfettered' as we go to where this 'meeting' is going to be. Stu, as far as my meeting with the top brass went, it would be great if you would be the tactician for the troops we'll have ready to deploy if this thing goes full scale: I'll defer to your recommendations as much as I can as well.
"How does that sound? Any concerns you'd like to address before we head out?" she asked, checking the sky as she did so, impatiently waiting for "Unfettered".

Since Vetis was the only person to addre the quest in an indirect manner.
Sean Barker smiles looking over the "message" from the Silent Hermit.
"Sir?"
"Hmm?" Is all Barker does in reply to a near by lacky.
"Did you want us to do something about this?"
"Why? Can't you read the message?"
"S-sir?"
"Dear, megalemaniac, please refrain from contacting me at this address. I have sent back your message in an attempt to remove me from the mailing list."
"..."
"Oh and P.S. I'll punch you."
