Davids satisfaction at feeling his knuckles crack against Matts jaw was soon replaced with a grunt of pain around his midsection- not bad. Matt sure kept in shape. His right fist, which was balled for a moment and ready to throw the uppercut, would instead come up over Matts right shoulder and clasp with his left hand behind Mathews head, preventing a headbutt and getting him in the perfect position to begin throwing down some Muai Thai.
With his hopefully hands clasped there, he'd be able to start throwing up knees of his own, first a left and then a right. While doing this, he'd try and jerk Mathew around in different directions to destabilize his center of gravity, and make it harder for retaliation.

David would get his hands clasped around alright, and as the first knee came up Mathew expanded his stomach to try and absorb some of the blow as his right hand speared forward, hand like a knife to try and stab David in the side of his neck where he wouldn't be able to just lower his chin to guard.
That should stun him if it landed, and maybe even get him to let go. Which if it did, Mathew would send a left cross for David's ribs, followed by another knee.

David choked as Mathew struck him in the throat, causing him to take half a step backward. Matt moved in, trying to capitalize by throwing a left punch to the ribs. David would expell the air in his lungs with a grunt as he threw a hard right knee for Amtrums gut.
Making the job likely a little easier was the punch Matt had thrown, which would leave Mathews own left ringers open. The blow Mathew had thrown would land, but David had expelled the air just for that purpose- to minimize the pain he would have felt from the lunch. Too many shots in the ribs, after all, could be problematic.

Once again he grunted as the knee slammed in to his stomach, he could feel the muscles tightening there after the last few hits he had taken, he was probably bruising. Not that a little black and blue ever stopped him. Once the punch had landed and he had been struck Mathew's right leg would come up to kick out, trying to straight on Sparta kick David's left knee cap. Hopefully that would open him up a bit more.

David's left leg would fly backward, Having come up to knee Matt after his right leg had re-planted on the floor. The awkward angle would cause him to release his hold on the back of Mathews and drop to a knee- his left knee. Pushing off in a runners-like style, his arms would move to try and wrap around Mathews legs at the thighs, David throwing his shoulder forward into Amtrums lower abdomen and pulling on the legs, to hopefully put the man on his ass in a spear-like fashion.

And Mathew was tackled to the ground. While he was in midair he would slam both of his fists in to the back of David's head as he exhaled. He didn't need the wind knocked out of him. Though the tackle would hurt, he slammed back and the ground scraped up his bare back. His head thankfully kept from slamming in to the stone as he craned his neck.

David ground his teeth, stars flitting across his eyes. Normally the blow would be ignored, but the back of the head was sensitive to anyone. Still, he'd recover as Matt was planted on his back. He'd immediately craw forward, a little blood on the corner of his lip from biting his tongue when Mayhew hit him. Crawling forward, he'd attempt to climb into a "mounting" position and rain blow after blow on the mans face.
Should he try and cover up, David would throw a right punch for Mathews diaphragm, hoping to force a reaction to make Matt lower his gaurd, in which case he'd throw a left punch for the jaw, his head poindig slightly from earlier damage.

Like Mathew would raise up a guard. The blows started to fall and Mathew let out a lot of grunts and oofs but he was going on the attack still. His hands snapping out to grab the wrists mid flight, yanking downward as he slammed his head forward, trying to smash his forehead in to David's nose.
If the impact worked Mathew's head would sadly recoil back in to the pavement still and hit the back of his head. Stunning him for a moment as he shook himself out of the daze.

Davids face fell forward, though he turned his head a little to the left instinctively, so Matts head would smash into his cheek. His headache spiked, so David would bring his left arm over, pulling against the hand that held it, to try and grind his forearm into Matts face and throat. Jerking on his right arm, he'd try and free it enough to push up with his left arm and rain down a hard right punch to Matts face once again, aiming to cut the man open and satiate the need for blood from the crowd.

David was able to grind his forearm in to Mathew's throat as he slammed his fist in to Mathew's face. His knuckle tearing in to the skin on his forehead and a small trickle of blood started to ooze out. Mathew let out a choke as he tried to get more air in his lungs.
Both his arms would reach up to David's sides as his arms and armpits were both exposed. He jammed both of his thumbs in to David's armpits, hopefully hitting the nerve grouping there. Digging his thumb in and wiggling it around to make sure he hit it. His fingers trying to jam in between David's ribs. He didn't need to break anything, this alone would hurt and should make it a challenge to keep using his arms.

He leaned back, both hands and arms coming away from Mathews face, giving him some breathing room. The crowd let out a few "YEAH"'s at Mathews blood. Not because they were rooting for one or the other, but because Mathew had now shed something for everyone. Givin a part of himself to the battlefield, to his brothers. But they were not done yet. They wanted more, and would watch the two continue.
David would bring his hands back, grabbing Mathews forearms and throwing them outward. David would shoot his hands toward Matts neck, aiming to wrap around them- but not choke him. He'd put his feet under him, moving to lift Mathew back from the ground while he was dazed and trying to catch his breath, spin and hurl the man toward the crowd, who would try to move aside as Mathew would, should everything go as planned, head straight for a slab of cement.

Thankfully one of Mathew's most common moves was drawn on by his break dancing experiences and involved rolling. So when Mathew was thrown he was able to roll in to the landing, minimizing damage and popping up on to his feet. Coughing a little he rolled his shoulders.
"Well that was a fun warm up." He waited to see what came next. He hadn't done a jump in to a gang since he was 15. He was a bit rusty on procedure.

David laughed, wiping the corner of his mouth and leaving the blood trail pasted there.
He took a step forward, ready to continue, before an older man stepped up, catching David on the arm. He looked up into Dave's eye before turning to stare at Mathew. He walked over, slowly, and stood in front Mathew. There was no length of time that a fight needed to go on- it could and has lasted hours, and others, mere seconds. Though most of them wanted to keep the blood flowing, all it took was one.
"Are you willing to fight, to bleed? To live as a warrior for the rest of your life?"
He didn't talk about whether Mathew had already decided on that, or that the man was already a Dragon. It was obvious this was part of the Ritual.
If Mathew said yes, the man would Nod.
"Then I add my strength to yours, and will honor you as Dragon Elder."
After that, he struck Matt hard across the cheek fist clenched, afterward clasping the same fist to his heart, and giving a small bow. The rest of the men stepped forward- again, all it needed was one. They would all clasp a fist to their hearts, and bow in much the same fashion, afterward giving no cheer, instead stepping aside for David to walk forward. He'd stick out a hand for Matt to clasp, and grin.
"Looks like a warm-up was all that was needed. Good to have you man. We got a lot of work ahead of us."
He'd then take his coat from the men, who would begin talking among themselves about the idea of a new Elder, and what they thought of him. David would be shrugging on his jacket and speaking to Matt.
"First off- we need to talk about Leon. Have you been able to find anything out from his clones?"

He was just getting ready to slip in to a defensive stance for the fight to continue when the fight was ended. He watched as the man walked over to him, starting his ritual. He looked him up and down.
"Of course."
And his fists clenched when he was punched. It was hard to not strike him back. But he held his fist back. Mathew bowed back at the group before making his way to his stone box and retrieving his clothes, dressing again.
"We do, and I've already worked an alliance and trade agreement with the Gods of Olympus."
He frowned when David mentioned the clones.
"Kind of, I got a target. Don't know if Leon is in there or not. But it's the best lead I got so far. An underground facility in Barker territory."

David nodded. Alliances were always good.
"And though you're obviously not on friendly terms with them, I plan on the likelihood of an alliance with the Crows. Regardless of your personal feelings toward them, they are strong, and many of the people working for them are people i care about."
He'd frown thoughtfully for a half second.
"I have some plans to head north east, claim some territory. Expand. If you have any you'd like to do, lets knock them out quick, Because i think it will be smart to focus our energy on the Facility when it's time."
