Engaged huh? Shugo clenched his fist and looked away at the sound of it. Too many difficult memories for him to worry about right now.
"Ya I know Leon."
Last time Shugo had seen Leon, Leon had pulled him out of a rut by threatening Jacket's life. Shugo wasn't quite sure if he would consider Leon a friend, but he definitely didn't hate the guy. Especially after Leon explained to Shugo that he wasn't going to do anything to Jacket, but needed a way to get Shugo to stop looking at his failures.
"What about him? I heard he's off the grid."

"Apparently dead. But I got a lead that he is in Barker territory. There is an underground compound that has been making Leon clones. I'm going to go and shut it down. This Friday."
He worked more stone up his pant leg and around his body to replenish the spear that had been broken earlier.
"You want in?"
Otherwise they could finish what they had started here.

Cloning Leon? Shugo would stand up, pressing his hand to his side, by now his shirt was pretty red. Given the choice between fighting and saving a potential ally, Shugo's choice was pretty clear.
"I'll help get Leon out of his cell. Let's go."
The boy was in obviously no shape to be fighting Barker's goons right now after the beating he had taken but his voice was steadfast. If a friend was in danger, Shugo wouldn't just stand around idly even if he was hurt.

Shugo hadn't gotten too worked up and could feel the blood coming out of his side even faster. The boy grimaced and bared it as he looked back up at the Earth Dragon.
"We shouldn't be wasting time. God knows how long Leon's been held in there."

Shugo didn't know the connection between Mathew and Leon and the boy was beginning to get a bit skeptical.

Shugo would sit down on the pillar that Mathew had shot up before, after wiping his blood off of the pillar of course.

The boy stood up and pressed his hand to his wound applying pressure to it to make sure it didn't bleed too much.
"Guess I'll see you there."
