It was late night and Mathew hugged the shadows. He was skulking about in Barker territory, scouting out the area with the compound that one of the Leon's said they escaped from. It had been a long time since he had been around Barker or any of his goons. Seattle had other things to deal with instead. Because of that he was wary, the looks of the area was enough reason for that.
Shops and buildings in ruins. The streets seemed to be deserted at this time of night, and windows boarded up. If he had been wearing boots they surely would have echoed in the night. A perk of going barefoot now it seemed.
Crouching down low he ducked behind some rubble, pressing himself against it as he peeked over at what looked like a road block. He wasn't sure exactly what he was looking for here in a structure. But he assumed he would know it when he found it. Likely guarded better then the gates of Hell. So if he found a place like that, he would probably start there.

Sometime after the roadblock you do spot a mound of upheaved dirt. Rather large as well, you even think you can see metal on the other side. The Leon that was with you did mention it was an underground facility.
There are soldiers around here with a few people in less than full body armor. They all had white hair, and seemed to be leash and collared to a specific Barker soldier.

He would try to take note of the soldier before crouching down further so he couldn't see and hopefully couldn't be seen. Lightly placing his hand on the stone he tried to read the movements of the people about. He could potentially get a rough number of the people walking through the vibrations in the ground. Very rough since it would be distorted by distance, and people standing still wouldn't be read.
Still, to know if it was a handful or dozens would be worthwhile, it would give him something to work and plan with at the very least.

From what Mathew could tell the soldiers where covered from head to toe. And the vibrations give him a rough estimate of alittle over 6 soldiers.

That wasn't bad, not as bad as he thought it might be, but there was no telling what he would find inside the complex. It was tempting to push forward, past the soldiers and see what he could find. But today he was just taking a look around, no combat if he could help it.
He would descend in to the stone and travel back to Dragon territory to think over how he wanted to attack the base now that he knew where it was, and that it was indeed below ground.
