Reira used to be overly passive to the point where she lets people step all over her; however she's learned to be more assertive. She's often very stubborn and headstrong when it comes to things she values and believes in. When achieving a goal Reira is relentless, determined and unwilling to falter on the path towards it. Reira used to be a pacifist, and a peace-maker rather than fighter. She was someone that would use words to stop a fight before engaging in one. Back in high school she joined the "fight training" or "Club" or sorts to protect herself from the system where they trained in simple kicks, punches, and take-downs. However she's become a bit more cruel and aggressive due to having to survive. Regardless of whatever fight Reira is in, she uses her speed, reaction time, flexibility and read on her opponent's moves to her advantage. She engages in counters and is more of a defensive fighter unless she strikes preemptively. She is rather weak in terms of ground grappling and wrestling. Reira instead focuses on escaping getting grabbed and zones in on weak points to make her opponent submit, or just outlast them in terms of constitution.
History Information
History:
Reira lived a normal boring city girl life. Born into a middle classed family, she got along with people in school, got good marks, loved life, had friends, and all that she wanted. She spent the earlier years of her life in Guangzhou, China, where she learned the language and customs. When she reached the age of five she moved to the state of Philadelphia, where her dad's business flourished. Her family continued to prosper in the United States, all the same.
However, the horrible event that plagued her life was the death of her older brother, Keita. He had protected her throughout all her life, from the local neighborhood bullies, and pretty much the world itself. He was the reason she spent most of her life as a sheltered and innocent child.
He guided her through life and it was not until her twelfth birthday did he lose his life in a car accident. Within the accident, the collision was so great that lives were lost in the both vehicles. All the passengers were sent to the hospital with Reira's parents left close to being unscathed, while Reira herself had a few deep cuts in her arms and legs, causing scars that remain til this day.
Her parents were in shock like any other family would if they lost someone dear to them. The burden of her brother's death fell onto her shoulders, seeing that it was her brother that fastened Reira's seat belt in and forgot his own. Her parents blamed her for Keita's death and Reira could only wallow in her guilt for a few years.
Her brother was an honor student and an active part of the community, he made his parents proud. Reira's parents' attention were always focused on him. But now that he was not present, Reira had his standards thrown onto her. After a few months, her parents divorced after blaming each other for not being able to save Keita, it had all been a blame game after the accident. Ending up living with her mother, Reira had to work seven days a week after school, and in between her extracurricular activities in order to help keep the two afloat financially.
Mugen Hall
Reira had experienced, well, quite a few cases of drama. She had fell in love with Kaji Keisuke, a cold, manipulative and slightly sadistic individual. It only took her moments to warm up to him upon their coincidental encounters, yet he was hesitant and rejected her attachment to him. With time and persistence Reira's happy-go-lucky and warm persona worn him down, and after a confession at an ice cream parlor Kaji had accepted her love even if he could not promise his own.
She had also met up with a senior named Auric Miyamoto. They soon bonded through a quite awkward situation with regards to sleepwalking and soon they were almost like real siblings. Reira loved her 'brother' very much, since he was one of the only people she found 'family' in.
When she decided to move out from home, she met up with her father. After a violent act from her mother and visiting father arose to get the unwelcomed Kaji to safety, it was obvious to her that Kaji truly cared for her. Things settled after with child services coming into play and taking her parents into trial. Reira found refuge at Auric's home where she stayed, hoping to win the case against her parents.
The case was won by Auric's mother and Reira was able to move out with her new guardian. Life was good and even better when Reira's doubts of Kaji dispersed. On her sixteenth birthday, Kaji had given her a silver necklace, with the word 'Serendipity' engraved on the heart. He told her that their necklaces would,almost quite literally with the item endowment, signify their bond.
Life began to take another turn downhill during the time after that, Auric had left for Japan, and Kaji called her telling her that he was 'bored' of her only truly to have done so to protect her from his enemies. Reira had slumped into depression barely sleeping and eating. After her weeks of isolation, she meets up with a friend whom advised her to ask Kaji for a reasonable explanation. During her visit to Kaji's dorm many events occurred including Kaji almost raping her to prove his point and push her to her limit just so she'd leave him be.
During her depressive period she was attacked by thugs and was saved by Ryu, the behemoth that she had befriended. But not long after because of her status of being the 'girlfriend' of the School Captain, Kaji, thugs continued to target her. Obviously they didn't get the memo. In the second attack, she was saved by Taku, the ex-captain of PHS 381 of Mugen. When she had awoken, she ended up in a state of disillusionment and thought Taku was Kaji. She ended up kissing Taku and telling him that she loved him believing that all along he was Kaji. When she realized her predicament she wanted to die of embarrassment and guilt, apologizing profusely for what she had done.
From then Reira tried to make amends with the man, and live her own life to the fullest. She created her gang Aegis, along with Taku, to protect those of Mugen hall and rose against those that come to harm the innocent when Kaji Keisuke's disappearance.

Reira never stayed long, merely city hopped in search for Kaji Keisuke.

During her senior year Reira joined 552, upon hearing that there had been a man named Kaji Keisuke around. She hadn't give up in finding him at the time. Call it creepy, or call it dedicated, she went to New York and began her search.
Reira would end up stumbling across a man called Devoc Sevren, who knew of Kaji and ended up taking her to him. At first there was surprise from his end, then anger since he was still on the run but finally, acceptance. Reira was just happy to see that he was a live and well, and told him that she refused to have him face his enemies alone.
But obviously, life was cruel when his enemies did find him.
Reira was there at the time with Kaji and Devoc. The three tried to make a getaway, with Devoc providing cover for the couple as they entered her vehicle. Reira had felt success in their escape until she realized Kaji had been hiding the fact that he had been shot. On the way to the hospital, Kaji would simply fall in and out of consciousness until demanding Reira to stop. She does but only for the moment when he turns to her and tells her that he loves her and apologizes for waiting so long before he said it.
Kaji Keisuke passes.
According to rum ours, Reira had also passed in her fit of emotional distress.
Presently
Finishing her senior year at a school in Seattle, Reira focused on her education (Major in Accounting and acturial Science), and entered university at Washington State U. But just when she was about to complete her final year, the Barker incident destroyed her town and plunged everything into darkness...
Reira could simply cling desperately onto survival, and help those that need her aid to the best of her ability.
