The day after Rai had his fight with Kiyr he would go outside and sit in the cool fall air. The breeze was nice and the clouds kept the sun from being to bright all in all a peaceful day. Feeling the breeze he relaxed and accept it, feeling the peacefulness of the night he would sit down and begin meditating just like his master had taught so as to keep his head clear when the time of battle.

Mathew stood off to the side, silent after he stumbled upon the scene of Rai meditating. It was nice to see him applying himself so quickly on that aspect. Perhaps he would become adept at using his Qi after all. Or maybe he was just meditating. For now he would just watch.

During Rai's meditating something came to his mind for what seemed to be no reason he saw his uncle using his powers, and he had heard of others using powers and these images flashed in his head disturbing his meditation snapping back to reality he would sit there for a moment confused about what happened. As Rai started to stand back up he saw Matthew watching him and had wondered how long he had been standing there.
"Hello, anything you need Master?"
Rai would say bowing his head slightly in respect.

"Nope, just watching."
He said from his spot, acknowledging the head bow with a smaller one of his own.
"Meditate often?"

Rai thought for a moment.
"Usually before I sleep I meditate and some days like this when it is peaceful I will sit outside and enjoy my surroundings while meditating."
Rai hesitated a moment thinking about asking Matthew if he could tell him what happened.
"Master... My uncle, and you, as well as several others I hear about have powers, what are they and how did you come to possess such a gift?"
Though he was unsure if having that power was really a gift or just another curse in disguise.

"Our Qi?"
He shrugged.
"Well, it's a bit different for everyone. Some people uncover it in conflict. Others meditate to try and find it. Me, I use a bit of both methods."

Qi, he might have heard in passing but other than that had never heard of it.

Rai would ask Mathew wondering if he could help him unlock this hidden potential... if it was there.

Rai nodded and would do as he was told and sat back down on the grass relaxing his body, feeling the fresh air around him and he began to enter his meditative state again.

Rai would hear Mathews voice though sounding as though it were distant, he imagined the room he was in to be nothing but darkness as he was told and imagined a small fire in front of him but it didn't seem to have a source. It was red instead of the typical orange but he continued the scene as Mathew instructed.

As he did so Mathew would shoot the stone from his sleeve in to the side of Rai's head with a brutal force. Though he kept it blunt.

Kiyr watched from a ways away, smothering a slight yawn, while still being in hearing range. So, Raikotsu was receiving training for the potential to unlock his qi, too? Interesting...
At least now she could see without experiencing it first-hand.
